Im disappointed right now and really looking into changing internet provider. They have issues every weekend Im off of work Friday,sat,sun.now they slowed the internet down so much I cant play my gaming.so I guess Im getting close to let them go.which I been with them for many years.if yall know any other ones offering in the victoria tx,area please let me know.

We have not had any issues with our internet services with TISD. Today Darrell, tech support staff member, came out to put internet in a converted shed/office and another place. He was fast, efficient, and tried the least expensive ways first for cost effectiveness. He was knowledgeable, polite; and got in and got out quickly. Thank you, Darrell!!!

Terrible isp. There is slow speeds and outages constantly. Calling tech support is a joke. If you can get any other isp, that would be better than this trash.

Consistently offers the worst phone support that I have ever encountered. My internet went down yesterday afternoon and I called customer support and I was told that internet was down in Victoria. NBD because overall my internet service has been good lately. This morning my internet is still down and when I call customer service I am told there is no outage and there was not an outage yesterday either. So why was I told there was an outage? When my call got dropped I tried calling back several times and even though I wait on hold for 10 minutes or more I am just forwarded to a voicemail box. Why would I wait on hold to reach a voicemail box? The reason I wait on hold is so I can talk to a representative. When I leave voicemail messages it usually takes hours or days to get a call back and sometimes I dont get a call back at all.

Virtually no problems with the internet itself, when I moved from one location to another the quality didnt change how well it worked. The only problem Ive had was issues concerning when you need a 50 ft. pole installed. I was notified on the day of my installation instead of beforehand which set me back almost another month on the waiting list. Other than that no problems I wouldnt switch to another service

Great computer repair service ! I have used tisd for repairs to our computers. They repair it quickly while being honest on what’s the problem. We also needed an estimate for insurance snd it was done professionally and quickly .

They put up a new pole & went out of the way to service us after Harvey. The other local company wouldn’t help me get secure poles and anchors out on the rural Seadrift area! They’ve given me one referral credit. Waiting on the second one. I’ve shared the great service TISD has given me abd my family uses them now. Gaming. Netflix. Amazon prime. Direct tv. No issues running. Prices are good. But sometimes billing gets a little confusing. I’ve tried all kinds of internet out here in the boonies. So many were jokes! Especially satellite ones. The installers for me were awesome. The ones for my dad weren’t nearly as kind and cordial recently though. Hopefully they retrain the new installers to continue the old ways of customers first!!!!

Internet services is trash. Randomly goes out when online and now twice in a week the internet is not working. I know other people are having the same problem. Wish there were other internet people who can cater to people who live in the country!!! This deserves a zero star.

Somewhat lengthy review ahead.We live on the outskirts of Victoria, Texas and have had TISD for almost three years. What started off as decent, reliable service has swiftly deteriorated into a complete and utter mess. I pay for their premium business package, which allots 15Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. Despite the fact that calling such speeds business-worthy is laughable at best, weve persevered nonetheless.Over the last year or so, we have had persistent, continual problems both with our connection to the TISD tower and our speed. When this all started, speeds would be normal during the day, but would completely and utterly tank at night. Our speeds, which I desire to remind you are on a BUSINESS account, would drop to speeds as slow as 1 Mbps down, and 0 Mbps up. On a GOOD night during this time, wed get 3 Mbps download, which is only twenty percent of what we pay for. Oh, and lets preface all of this by saying that our house is less than a football field away from the nearest TISD tower.Fast forward a few months. These speed issues are now not just relegated to the evenings. My wife would text me pictures of our speed tests at the house, showing the same exact thing, only during the day this time. This means that, even if I wanted to, I wouldnt be able to work at my house, which was the sole reason we even got a business account in the first place. How can you possibly attempt to reconcile the absurdity of that? I pay for a business account and cant work from home half the time? Thats completely, utterly, and WHOLLY unacceptable.Fast forward even more. At the time of this writing, we have had five techs present at our house, spread out over two visits, one in July of 2020 and the other in October of 2020. The first visit had two techs at our house trying to diagnose the issue. Supposedly they found some kind of network hiccup on their end, had their network admin make a change, and the issue seemed to be fixed. Not even a week later, the issue returned with a vengeance. Once again, we were experiencing, at best, twenty to thirty percent efficiency. Our speed tests would start at 0 Mbps, stay there for about 10 seconds, shoot up to 15 Mbps, then slowly fall all the way back down to 3Mbps. This was the MO of our internet connection from July all the way to November of 2020, and at the time of this review, the issue is still exists.We have called TISD probably upwards of thirty times in the last few months alone. To say their service has been lackluster would be the biggest understatement of this still very young century. I am paying over a hundred dollars a month for internet that barely works, and sometimes doesnt even work at all. I continue to pay my bill as I should, and continue to get service that cant even support a single computer.I hate writing critical reviews like this. I really do. It isnt my desire to be rude or hyper-critical of any business, but Im at my wits end here. My business internet is anything but business, and I do not feel like Ive received business-level service. TISD has always answered the phone and been communicative with us, so their communication skills arent what Im questioning or criticizing. There was a time when we didnt have issues with our internet. I do not know what changed, but something did. Something happened and has rendered our internet as unreliable as the weather. I cant depend on it anymore. When I get home, getting good speeds comes down to a coin toss. Its either going to be good for a time, or its abysmal. When its abysmal, it lasts all night, meaning we cant do anything that requires internet until the next day.Im sorry if this is abrasive, rude, or hyper-critical, but Ive run out of civility. This needs to be fixed.

Genuinely cannot believe I pay almost 100 dollars a month for such a subpar internet service. I understand that living out of the city I would have to make some sacrifices but this is appalling how this company is willing to take hard working peoples money while giving them an atrociously terribly base speed up and down, and continue to throttle it even lower for what reason I don’t know, probably their own entertainment . Good luck to all who chose this provider and to anyone who knows of a better provider that covers north of Victoria please let me know.

I had been in a contract with the satellite providers with very low speeds and unable to stream very well with only one device. We now can stream with all of our devices and I am able to get my work done much faster.

Absolutely horrid service. Not worth the time, money, or trouble. I highly recommend searching for other options. Internet is unstable and often abruptly stops. When it is working as intended it simply does not meet the standards you are paying for. Simply unreliable and impossible to predict.

We never have issues with our internet service. Every now and then it may lag a little, but this is highly unusual and we stream live tv all the time. I never have issues with getting into my college classes or uploading or downloading. Great service!

My computer shut off and would not get past the loading screen. I brought it to TISD and it took a few business days for them to fix. Now it is working great! They even went above and beyond with the service. It was affordable, quick, they communicated updates to me well, and everyone was friendly! For sure going to be a repeat customer in the future! 😁

Dont be fooled by their monthly prices. Over $400 in installation and equipment charges for one month of service. If you have access to a different provider, I urge you to use them instead.

These guys are awesome! We have only had an issue with our service one time when our tower was being upgraded to fiber so service was down about 2 hours, but it was worth it because we have had even higher quality internet since then.

Terrible service. Too expensive for what you get and extremely slow and unreliable. Forget playing online games and streaming video, you will just lag out and videos will buffer endlessly. Checking e-mail is about the most youll be able to do.

Service is not good at all. As other reviewers have stated, its almost unusable between 6 pm and 11 pm (online gaming, voip, and netflix will not work) due to packet loss, high latency, and slow speeds. What they are charging for such subpar service is highway robbery and a disgrace, I pay $70 for 10 mbps download and am lucky to get 2 most of the time. Their towers are overloaded and theyve done nothing and will do nothing to rectify it. This company is taking advantage of people in rural areas that dont have access to hard line services. I have made numerous phone calls to tech support asking to speak with the supervisor and they always tell me the supervisor is not available and will call me back yet I never hear from them. Ive had techs come out and they always say the same thing (everything is fine on their end, I have good signal, my router is bad, etc). It is atrocious how they treat their customers. I urge anyone reading this review to stay far away from this unscrupulous internet service provider.

Good service when it works. Paying around $80 for 15mbps down 1mbps up. Which in todays world is a joke. Id hoped in the year or so after Hurricane Harvey hit they would have actually fixed some the issues Id been having before. All they seemed to have done is double the download speed. Which is great...when youre actually getting the overpriced speed youre paying for. From 6pm to 11pm it drops to speeds around 0.2mbps to around 3mbps. Getting somewhat better around 11pm. So I thought thatd be okay. Well now its dropping around 5-7am. And we just had our service reinstalled a day ago. But knowing them theyll either blame my router (which was ridiculously overpriced off the technicians van practically double the price) or eventually send more technicians to basically do nothing and walk away saying they Got us all fixed up. Or We upgraded all of our equipment.) Only to be met with the same terrible results. It isnt all bad of course. Im not meaning to hate on this internet provider. When its working right its great. But its just so unreliable. If they can fix this itll be so much more worth the price they charge. But until then I just cannot reccomend this service to anyone. Only if youre really in desperate need of internet and would prefer not to go for satellite.

Ok well its not looking to good I got this internet service because no other runs at our new house for my husband play his online games from PS4 it got hooked up on Thursday was running somewhat smooth till Sat night at 11 it just started freezing up now it wont work at all and there is no tech support so Im paying to much just to have my internet working when it wants to.

I dont like their billing process they dont send out notices of billing and before you know you have a late fee, I also dont like that they charge you extra now to pay your bill with a debit card over the phone .
