Beware of this place. Went in for a state inspection and got rejected for a “bad belt” that was cracked they said. Rules clearly state that you can’t reject for cracked ribs, but they did anyway and tried to sell me a belt. They are up selling people on services not needed. Basically ripping people off.

My service tech Daniel was on point with customer service. I am very confident in the service i receive here.. I highly recommend this location to all in this community. I have has services at many other places but this place standout by far. Genuine hometown care and customer service for their customers and vehicles.

Came in from Houston didnt have the time to get an oil change before I left so pulled in here greeted upon arrival quick fast & proffesional service in and out approximately 30 mins including both cars ahead of me

I’m a little confused…came here for an oil change as I’ve always used valvoline because I like the idea of waiting in my car. This is a valvoline express so maybe it’s different but they have you park and then they drive your car in with their oily hands. With Covid I just feel it’s important to be able to wait in your car and have limited people touch the steering wheel etc. additionally, there was no sense of urgency. Everyone was just kind of standing around and/or chasing each other goofing around. No one asked me what kind of oil I wanted or went over any of the checks with me. No one said “hello” or “thank you” it was just a very odd experience. Lastly, I had a $10 valvoline coupon on my phone but was told it could not be honored because it had to be printed out. I’ve been using valvoline for 15 years and have never had to have them printed out. It’s 2021. This place should not even be allowed to have valvoline in their name because it’s a polar opposite experience. Will not be returning.

I love coming here. They are very quick. There are times were you have to wait. A good time of day is after 2 Tuesday or Wednesday.

Good place for oil change just be cautious when and if the change your cabin air filter jockey box might not work correctly other than that will be back for more oil changes

Just went there for an oil change an tire rotation that took too long and was incomplete.Johnny took the unnecessary time to take both my air filters out and ask me if I needed them replaced, but couldnt be bothered to fill up my tires that were low and pinging my dash tpms prior to arrival even though theyre charging 25 for the rotation when theres MULTIPLE shops in town offering it for free with an oil change.Paid $93 for an oil change and rotation and now Im filling up my own tires.What a jackass

1st customer to arrive and Ive been waiting for an hour and a half. I drive a fleet vehicle. They started the service before getting approval. Started my service, pulled my vehicle out and then started working on others. Approval came through (of course) but now I am waiting on other customers. Nobody told me any of this until I tried to leave. Ridiculous.

Wow, I dont know how an Express oil change takes an hour. Then they were confused by the 15 quarts of oil a 7.3liter diesel holds. I had to show them where the dip stick was? Not good!And how to start it. Its not rocket science guys. Maybe a little training should be in order before they start messing with peoples vehicles...Just saying.

Bad customer service and the manager tries to upsale or the car will be failed. He will find something to fail and generally is the wiper blades or the gas cap even if they are in working order. The rest of the employees are very helpful withing the scope of their job.

This place has a small town feel to it and the people there are very nice and helpful. The service there is very quick and will get you on your way. The waiting room is small, but you arent in there very long. Getting in to the parking lot is a little confusing. Other than that amazing place.

We called to ask about their price and wait time for an oil change, they said $35 and that there were a few cars but they were getting them through quickly. We came in, but soon noticed on their board that oil changes were actually $38.99. Whatever, were here, its $4. A bit annoying but not worth leaving over. More than an hour of waiting later we started thinking of going somewhere else, but we were called next. They kept bringing peoples air filters inside asking if they wanted new ones, whether they needed replacing or not. Then they tried to sell us another $250 worth of work (like transmission, engine, and radiator flushes, power steering service, etc) that we declined. They rang us up and it was $42.99 plus tax, we asked why it was so much and they said because of the $4 oil filter. Thats not included in the price of an oil change? They said they topped off all the fluids but they didnt. I have a crack in my windshield wiper fluid tank so it leaks every time its filled. It wasnt leaking and when I checked the stick it was bone dry. These people are the epitome of the crooked places that will say what they need to say to make more money. We wouldnt have stopped if theyd said an oil change is $43 and its an hour wait. I promise we wont be back.

Had a few problems when I went in for a state inspection.One, they were very busy, which was not the problem. The problem was the system that they used. I waited for probably 30 minutes while people came in and left with their vehicles before my vehicle was serviced. So I asked, out of curiosity why that was. Apparently an oil change + state inspection gets taken care of before a state inspection by itself. OK. no big deal.Then, I waited another 10 minutes before they took my keys & insurance, and brought them back immediately, saying that my vehicle would not pass inspection because the headlights & tail lights were tinted. I bought the vehicle with the lights that it has on it, and I have had the vehicle inspected here before without any problems. Granted, they were very polite with their explanation, but I was still frustrated with their service, and the result.So I took my vehicle to another local place that does state inspection, and passed with no problem. The other business even took the time to explain why Stockbauer Lube Center was wrong for rejecting the head & tail lights.

Joe is the owner/manager. The previous owner was a very nice person and bent over backwards to help whenever I had an issue. I took car in for an oil change and a week later I was adding Windshield Washer fluid so I checked the other fluids. The oil was three quarts low. I added oil and took it over and they tightened the nut they left loose and Joe acted as though I had done something wrong. He was unapologetic and downright rude. I thought I would give him a chance to make it up so I bought fluid, filter, and a new plug since they had mangled the old one. The other employees were very nice but cowered down when Joe appeared and told me he would not change the oil. DO NOT do business here.

Well my lady friend came here to get her oil changed. And during the oil change they said she need a engine flush she said okay not know what it was and they didn’t explain it to her and they didn’t disclose the price of the flush. When all was said and done it was 160$.And when I went up there to talk to them about why they didn’t tell her the price they just laughed and compared it to a burger joint on how they’re priced. They took advantage of a young woman and have some the worst customer service ever!!!! Do not come here or they’ll scam you out of your money!!!!

Joe couldnt process my fleet card. Interrupted a phone call with my supervisor. He asks mewhats your problem, Im trying to help you! He finally says you can take it to another shop. I said ok. Very rude and unprofessional! Firestone to the rescue...no problem here.

I use to go to Stockbauer Lube all the time, but since it was sold, they rip people off. One inspection, the guy started taking my air cleaner apart saying it was inspected item. I asked him to show the the manual and the owner came up and said I was right, he should have said, he caught us. The next and last inspection, they tried to tell me my F150s cargo light was a break light and was upset when I corrected him.

They have been making my oil change and suggesting me the necessary stuff to replace or to do. Great customer service

They said my headlight was loose, they couldnt pass it. Of course I had to pay to get it fixed. Went somewhere else and the guy said it was not loose and wouldnt affect my driving at night. He passed it.🤔

State inspectors dont have a clue about what fails and what passes I used to be a certified state inspector at stockbroker auto lube and today 3-6-17 they failed me because my parking brake dont work. My vehicle is an automatic and it does work and function perfectly just not when u push on the accelerator but besides the point my parking brake functions fine but they failed it because they pushed the accelerator and it moved when its supposed to hold the vehicle in place and it does.. I will never give this place my buisness my money or recommend them for anything they are a bunch of kids that are inexperienced and think they know everything and they dont

Have used this business many times in the past to service all of our family vehicles. In the past we received 5-star service. Apparently they have had a change in management. My wife took her Flex in for an oil change. She said they kept calling her outside to okay other filter changes and she approved changing the cabin AC return air filter. They also replaced a burned out taillight with her approval. When she got her bill they had also tacked on a fuel system flush ($69.99) which she had not approved. The tech said he had showed her some dirt on a piece of paper and she said to fix it. My wife (a non-mechanical type) said she would never have approved such an expense without talking to me about it. She thought it was maybe a fuel filter. She asked for the manager and he said Sorry, sounds like a misunderstanding on both sides. She was there for an hour and five minutes and had to have them retrieve her receipt from the trash can when she asked for it.Poor customer service, poor representation of services to be provided. Will never use them again.

Was told a 30 minute wait and 2 1/2 hours later was serviced. Then found any and all things to try to charge me before giving an inspection sticker. Every car that went through had something wrong with it. Called business spoke with Josh the manager to explain customer service and poor job, he said it wasnt his job. I explained as a manager it is all his job. That poor business reflects poor leadership. He got offended and very upset as I spoke. He kept interrupting me. I would not recommend going to this place to my friends and family. Much better business in Victoria other than this place.

If your vehicle doesnt come with power steering, I would not bother taking it in here.Because I was told it had electronic power steering, when my vehicle manual makes no mention of the sort, and that my specific model in question, in manual transmission, doesnt come with it. Since there was no fluid reservoir underneath the hood, they simply assumed the car had another form of power steering.It would make me suspect that the employees simply dont know the trade period. I wouldnt trust any mechanic that cant identify power steering systems, or the lack thereof. There could be other things they dont know.Unless you have a vehicle thats brand new--particularly something they can personally be familiarized *with--not taking a chance with these guys at all is the best recommendation I can give.

I took truck in for inspection, as soon as I got there they didnt even acknowledge me like I wasnt even there then had to wait more than an hour or more for inspection, at that time they tried to look under engine for anything to sell or say it needed .I was there at 3pm never left till 5pm never got to Tax office on time due to there talking, joking around and not tending to job.this place is very unprofessional from management to workers I recommend no one to go there unless you want to wait wth bad service.

This used to be a friendly mom-and-pop place. Staff used to be knowledgeable, friendly, and would only mention real, serious issues they would recommend dealing with. However, since changing management, all I have seen is constant upsells. I spent over an hour and a half waiting for an oil change. Yet, I saw them come in and trying to sell in-cabin air filters, wipers, fuel system cleaners, engine flushes, and anything else they could to customers that already had come in for a specific service. Granted, if you cannot do regular maintenance nor simple maintenance and dont want the hassle of running to Autozone and picking stuff up, maybe this is the place for you, but I used to be able to come down here for a super quick oil change when I didnt feel like dealing with it. Now, though, they seem to have taken on the personality of a used car salesman. Slick and looking to make a quick buck off of people that dont know any better.

I guess you have to be buddy buddy with someone working there. Service there sucks. New owners in the last few years? I dont ever remember the staff being that rude. And they talk down to you. This was a few months back. Now I hear they offer a special on dented bumpers.

Against my better judgement after reading the reviews, I took my car here for an inspection. Same experience as most others. Several made up problems and failed inspection. I was told on the phone that I had a frayed power steering belt and 2 blinker bulbs out. I re-inspected when I got there, took the manager out to verify these Problems, no frayed belt, and low and behold all of the blinkers were magically working now. Weird huh? I just tried to use them because they are right up the street from work. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I will also be turning this over to the BBB.

They went above and beyond to help me get my brake job done. I have all my vehicles serviced here and will continue to do so for 2018.

Had my oil changed at this place in 2013. The wrong type and weight was added to my vehicle. I asked to have the oil changed to correct type. One month later, while driving down the road, the oil filter fell off and oil was all over the engine and on the ground causing my engine to seize up.
