I always get good honest service here. Fairly quick, too!
1 Stop Tire and Auto is a great place to get your vehicle worked on. The workers there are very nice and do their best to get your vehicle up and running good. They take pride in their work. Thank you!
Extremely good people will definitely return for more work when needed
Very knowledgeable and experienced mechanics. Quality work and affordable prices. Engine, suspension and A/C jobs no problem. No charge for estimates.
Rodney and his crew are top notch! He has rescued me on the side of the road before. Prices are reasonable too.
Rodney and John are great mechanics. Quick Service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend one stop Shop
AVOID AVOID AVOID! I came to this place because Rodney was recommended by Big Eds. NOTHING went right and I mean nothing. Rodney had my truck for 3 weeks and during that time I probably stopped by 5-6 times. None of which you ever see the guy working on your truck. He was always out eating, and the hardest guy to get ahold of. His employees even said, Man, you just missed him...but Ill have him call you. Never heard from the guy. Called him cell phone, didnt answer. He then calls me after having my truck for 3 weeks and says its done. Show up pay the money and when I get into my truck ready to drive it off from this establishment, it doesnt work! So I was out $390 on something that still wasnt fixed. Then he says, Well Ill get around to it after the holidays. Patience was thin, but Ill be patient to give him one more day. Show up at the end of that day, truck wasnt even moved. I ask him if my truck was a priority to get fixed, and he said, Well theyre all priorities. Oh really? So the other vehicles that your mechanics are working on, theyve already paid for the work on their vehicles as well? This place is a JOKE! STAY AWAY!
1 Stop Automotive is closed on Saturday and Sundays. We work at customer service but, know we cant please everyone, as for Jonathan Barnes his own credit card company sided with 1Stop Auto after returning parts (20% restocking) and U.P.S fees he received his credit. One review sounds like the fictional character Pinocchio. Thanks from Rodney Burnett and the staff at 1Stop Automotive.
Superb. Great work. Personable
Best shop in Victoria! Very educated and skilled mechanics; I am extremely satisfied with the work theyve done on our vehicles. Great work :)
Took way too long to get my vehicle back. Not very impressed. Pricing was ok but if you want your car back in a timely manner go somewhere else.
This Shop Owner is the Greatest Mechanic that I have been too!!!!! Keep up the Awesome Job !!!Thank You !!!
I took my expedition in for a pinion bearing replacement. Dropped it off on Tuesday, got it back on Thursday. Price was what we expected, and Rodney was personable and professional.
Go to a reputable mechanic. Disorganized and unprofessional! Pass on this shop.
Rodney is great! Bought a 07 Ram 3500 6spd Cummins in Victoria and 13 miles later the transmission let loose. I heard about 1 Stop and decided to have him take it for a test drive. Sure enough blown bearings in my transmission. Rodney went out of his way to help me out. I found a used transmission in Houston and as soon as I told him I found one, he said to pull the truck in. We had the transmission and transfer case out and bad Trans in the back of the rental car in just a few hours. He took the time to stay until 9pm and take time away from his family to help me out... A complete stranger. The next day I arrived with the new/used transmission. We both came to the mutual agreement to open the transfer case because something didnt seem right. Sure enough, it was shot. Rodney and his other mechanic spent over an hour going through and cleaning everything before putting it back together. A few hours later I was driving the truck and the next morning started the 1600 mile drive back to Western New York.Rodney single handedly showed me that there are still decent people in this world. He gave me a price that was way more than fair and if I had the ability to give more, I would have. He went over and above to help me out and get me back home. Ive already told many people about him and his shop and if I ever see or hear of anyone needing help in his area, I will send them to 1 Stop without hesitation. Theyre great mechanics, great guys that know their stuff and most importantly... They are great people. I look forward to going back to Texas some day and I will make a point of going to Victoria just to see them and to say hi. I owe them a big debt of gratitude and in my opinion, no amount of thanks will ever be enough. - Chad
Great... Place and awesome people.
Awesome place. Experienced mechanic and timely completion.
***10/26/2015 edit***The review below mine by Stephanie Williams is obviously fake; if you notice, the reviewers address is the same as his business address. They posted that review to counter mine below.***Original Review***Dont ever do business with Rodney at 1 Stop Automotive. Below is my story:On July 7th 2014, I called Rodney at 1 Stop Auto and asked if he could install a set of gears in my 2012 Ford F-150. He said he could so I asked him to order a set of gears for my 2012 F-150, then we agreed to have them installed on Saturday July 19th 2014 (I made it VERY CLEAR my wife was out of town and I needed my vehicle during the week for work so it had to be done on the weekend) and he agreed. I paid him $1,100 for the initial gear kit purchase, then I confirmed 3 different times (because I thought it was odd he was willing to perform the install on the weekend) that he could install on the weekend. He assured me he would notify me when the gears came in and that he was able to do the install that weekend so I would have my vehicle for the week. All is good up until this point.Fast forward to July 17th. Once the gears came in (which he never notified me of, I had to keep calling him), he backed out of the appointment stating he had kinfolk coming into town and he could not install the gears that weekend. He then basically accused me of being crazy for thinking he could install them that Saturday (which once again, I had confirmed 3 different times) and told me that he, “hadnt worked a Saturday in 15 years.” I was a little shocked at this point as I reminded him of how we talked about all the different times I confirmed with him that Saturday was ok, but he acted like he didnt remember it. I am an extremely nice individual and never show emotions over the phone, but I was slightly agitated at this point. Ok, whatever....I told him we would have to cancel the appointment and send the parts back because he backed out of the appointment. I asked him if he could at least split the shipping and restocking fee (15% of the gear kit) with me since he was the one that backed out of the appointment. He immediately became defensive and accused ME of backing out of the appointment and was not willing to split any of the return fees. I asked him what he paid for the gears (I knew he threw some markup in there but not exactly how much) so I would know how much the 15% was, but he would not tell me. Fortunately, I was able to call Randy’s Ring and Pinion and get the wholesale price from them that he paid; $715.36 as well as shipping ($47). When I called Rodney back telling him I would only pay 15% of $715 and not $1,100, he was furious and demanded I give him the name of the individual I spoke with at RR&P. I did not remember the individuals name but he kept demanding it until he got so irate he hung up on me. This is when I became concerned he was trying to charge me 15% of $1,100 and not 15% of what the gears actually cost. Why else would he care if I knew how much they cost? I’m the one paying the restocking fee, not him!Over the next week or so, I kept calling him asking for the 15% that I owed, and if he had returned the gears so he could issue my refund. He still refused to give me the price of what he paid for the gears, leaving me unable to determine how much my 15% was. This time, he said shipping was going to be “about $100” and that he was going to charge me a “trip fee” for taking the parts to UPS. Almost a month later and still no refund, I had had enough so I called my credit card company and opened a dispute. They refunded me my money and now Capital One/Visa has the joy of dealing with this clown to try and get their money back. The last time I checked with RR&P, (sometime around August 1, 2014) he still had not returned the parts. I’m assuming (I do not know this for sure) that he’s just keeping the set and will sell them to someone else. All in all, it was the worst business deal in my life, and I would avoid his shop like the plague.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. You know when they say, dont judge a book by its cover. Well that doesnt apply to this place. Take your money else where.
