This store is my favorite lumber store to come to near my home. I come here at least 2 to 3 times a week, the have a great selection of beautiful plants as well.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Home Depot because I’m a huge fan of projects and their store is always been easy to navigate, but in the last few months alone at this particular Home Depot, I have had online orders canceled without a phone call or explanation on multiple occasions, I have been given other peoples orders on multiple locations, I have been left with pending charges for days on end after they mess up an order, and the customer service in store is rather useless. I’m not sure if they just hire people with little to no experience in this field, or have never worked customer service, but all it has done is drive me to their competitors who are far better at communication. Sad

Purchased a water heater online it was already in stock at the store told him I would be picking it up the following day I also paid for it installation kit I believe it was $37 where to pick up the water heater nobody was available to load in the car I was told they would be right with me after moving the car to the pickup zone in blocking the lane for 15 minutes we finally wound up loading in our self only to discover there was no kit with it that I paid for and call me in the store they said that that was ordered and it wont be in until the 28th so I

Similar experience to Jess Mealers. Ordered a range, was given a delivery date of August 3rd and HD would call on the 2nd to confirm. Never was called so we called HD. Was rescheduled to August 18th. Delivery truck arrived and the range was unloaded. The technician was using a cordless driver to tighten to nuts when he was attaching the power cord. AS I WATCHED, IT SEEMED LIKE OVERKILL, AND IT WAS. He twisted the size 8 or 10 (or 5 mm) bolt off. So back to HD the range went. HD rescheduled delivery for Sept 3rd with HD to call to confirm on Sept 2nd before 7 pm. Didnt get a call so we called them at 6:50 pm and were told that they rescheduled delivery to Sept 15th (but they didnt call us). The second and third scheduled deliveries I drove 300 miles round trip to meet HD, and took 2 days out of my schedule. VERY FRUSTRATING. Ive been a HD customer for years, but will have to re-consider who I give my business to in the future.UPDATE: Changed delivery location to the store....surely that cant be messed up. Well, they did, they did not call the day before the delivery then texted the morning of the delivery with less than an hours notice. Checked with the store, they confirmed the delivery would be to the store....well they attempted delivery to the house. AFTER 4 ATTEMPTS WE GAVE UP ON HOME DEPOT AND CANCELLED THE ORDER. Found a local, independent dealer that will fill the order AND WE ARE GETTING IT FOR $80 LESS THAN HOME DEPOT and the other big box store. And the store owner shook my hand and said Thanks for the business. Moral of the story, shop local first!!

Warrantys are a joke. Store wont handle it. I have to drive over an hr to the nearest place that my warranty will cover to repair it. It will cost more in gas to get ther and get it back than to just buy the part and fix it myself. ORDER YOUR MOWER FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR SOMEWHERE ELSE. Save yourself the time money and head ache.

Theres a reason this place is shutting down. Its because the workers do not help anyone. They walk around in circles, ignore you when you try to get their attention, no nothing about what they sell, and are super rude. Go to Lowes, save some time and frustration.

I called to find out if a trailer was in stock. I got transferred to the help desk 5 times in an endless loop with no one to help me. After this, they continually put me on hold each time the phone rang without speaking to me or telling me if anyone was going to help me. Getting someone to help you here is not always easy. When you can get help the staff are usually knowledgeable and polite. The quality of most of their products seem decent. -- If you ever have to call the corporate number you can never get a straight answer because every person you talk to will have a completely different answer. I have no idea how they function as a whole if no one can be consistent.

Hispanic lady was rude to us at the tile/carpet area. We were looking to match kitchen counter top to a flooring we had picked and said to us with a customer she was consulting with seating there quite loudly what are you doing because we pulled the sample of a tile out to get a better look. Therefore I responded we are looking to see if it is a match and I told her as much but not before she embraced us.

Everyone seems so miserable to be there that the customer service definitely reflects that. Plus its no fun looking for someone to help then find 8 employees all standing around in a circle complaining. Definitely could use improvement.

I usually buy from Lowes but Lowes doesnt have Makita and other brands so I went to HD. While there we interacted with 5 employees, out of the 5 only 1 was helpful and kind. The others were rude and uptight. I saw a woman approach two other employees standing together, hanging out and turn her away because she was in the wrong section. But you could see that the two had no interest in helping her. I guess Ill stick to Lowes...

I was needing some wire cut, had to ask three different people for help. The first one acted as though he could care less if he helped and the second person shouted at me for asking for assistance! Wow!! The third person was very nice and helpful! This is why its really hard for me to make it a choice to come to this Home Depot ( Victoria Texas)!!!!!

Everyone is extremely courteous and helpful at this Home Depot. From helping me get lumber cut (shout out to Gabe...hes awesome), to the sweet girl who helped me load my cart and checked me out, to the two guys (who were probably extremely busy) that stopped what they were doing to help me load everything into my vehicle. It was very refreshing to have such great customer service.

Im a local builder and contractor here in Victoria so i shop here very often. I believe in equality so I shop at Lowes as well for stuff. Home Depot has material that Lowes dont and visa versa....Ryobi for instance. Lowes dont carry because its only a HD product. But I usually go toHD for lumber and Lowes for plumbing. All in all its a very good place to get material for any home project big or small!! Thank you Home Depot!!!

Employees help at this Home depot! I did not see employees on their phones, or walking away when we needed assistance. Clean all around. I would go out of my way to come to this home depot compared to the big cities. Must have good management that cares about its store!

Customer service here is not that good about a quarter of the time I visit. Also, their store is often somewhat disorganized to where it can be difficult to find some things. Prices are decent though, and the quality of their product selections are pretty good.

Well organized with bold printed labels to find exactly what U would need from The Home Depot. The employees were polite & helpful for me because I didnt know exactly what I was looking for but I had enough detailed information for them to show me to what I was needing to purchase! Plus its reasonably priced!!

The hard working lady that delivered to curbside was quick to bring out my purchases, was very friendly and was working so hard pouring sweat in this horrible. I wanted to tip her but she would not accept. It was against their policies.Such an honest and hard working young lady. I cant thank you enough for all that you do and wearing that hard to breathe in, mask above it all.

Since I bought an older home, the Home Depot has become a frequent-visit place of mine. I needed parts to replace the dryer vent on my dryer and the outside wall vent. I had help from a very nice man who helped me select everthing I need to get the job done. Picked up some flowers for my porch also. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

I bought a washer and dryer in the store. The girl said they were in stock but found out they were out of dryers. They called me that they were in stock. When I went they were out again. After another wait I went again and there were no dryers AND they couldnt find my washer. Took 3 weeks to get to this point and they wanted me to wait some more. In tears of frustration I went in and got my money back which STILL leaves me without a washer and dryer. I chose to spend my stimulus check there because the laundry mat wont let people fold there. This is not the 1st time the Home Depot in Victoria Texas has caused me to leave upset and empty handed. I guess I will have to try Lowes although I have never been in one.

If you are disabled. Home depot does not want your business. Their handicapped shopping carts were uncharged. ALL 2 OF THEM! RIDICULOUS! I should know better by now. This is the 3rd time I went in and found it this way. There wont be a fourth.

I wanted to buy plants that were outside. I went to check out and asked lady about bar odes she said I had to walk outside get them and go back inside to pay for them. Oh no. I dont work here. Id think theyd have bar codes at the registers for that or at least keep garden center open. Im taking my business elsewhere.

Its always a pleasure to go to Hoem Depot. The employees are knowledgable about their products and do all they can to insure you have the best experience. Its nice not having to search all over the store for one item say a door knob and have to go all the other way for the door. Everything is well organized and cheaper than other hardware stores.

The staff where completely wrong to me. I drove 40 miles from Yoakum, TX to Victoria to buy a wood screen door. I paid for it and waited to get a 1/4 shaved off top. Then the Gentleman told me its against company policy to do that, when I watched him do it for the white lady in front of me. I just said okay. You have a nice day sir. Took my door and left. Wont be going back.

Miranda in the appliances department here was very helpful. After visiting several stores, in several cities, over the last few months, trying to get the kitchen sweet desired, she has been the only one that has helped with an optional solution to accommodate my needs.

Prices are out dated

I’m not sure who is supposed to be managing this location but clearly they are not. Trash cans over flowing. I have a splitting headache. Would have been nice to be able to quickly get the two items I needed. But no carts in the store. If I had known I would have found one to bring in from the lot. Lord knows no one is assigned that task. It’s slow. No reason for the lack of help. Lack of resources.And it was no better Sunday when I was here either. I typically shop Lowe’s. I remember why.Step it up Home Depot.

We, my husband, brother I law and sister. Brother in law was looking to order tile and bathroom sink. A lady( which I had gotten get name) came and said the department associate was off today. So she said she would get. Then we waited 15 minutes. No one came. So I went to the front desk but stopped another lady associate and she said she would get some too. Waited another 15 minutes. Then I. Called the store from inside and a gut answered this time but still no one came. We stopped a lady that was in plumbing and all she tools us that the lady was off. LEFT!!

The staff here are friendly and the prices are cheap. They carry a decent selection of tools which I appreciate being a contractor. Ive dealt with the tool rental department several times and every tool that I have rented was functioning as it should and seemed to be well taken care of which is better than many other home depot tool rentals that I have been to. And there is always an employee close by to answer questions which is another great plus. They arent the biggest HD and consequently dont have the largest selection but Im rarely disappointed with the lack of.

Most previous visit was good. Was approached by a couple different workers asking if I needed help finding anything. Finding a worker to cut a section of chain was quick and easy. The lady that typically works the garden center (don’t know her name, but she usually has a big black hat) is very friendly and awesome. Her good mood is contagious.
