Sunday afternoon I was riding in Jackson, MS and hit a pot hole that made me and my wife hit the Harlem shake. I called my insurance company and someone came and put the spare on the car. I scheduled an appointment at Gray Daniels Nissan off I55 in Jackson, MS. The service was horrible. I waited a hour for them to tell me that they could not help and told me to go to Vicksburg for further assistance. I arrived to Vicksburg to discover that they do have the rim for my car but they are already purchased by another customer and they pick up today. Im devastated at this point. Knowing that my wife sister has chemo in the morning and she has to be there in New Orleans and I have to be back in Houston for work. These guys really came up with solutions to help me get back on the road. I can not express enough how grateful I am for Glen, Henry, and Palmer. They did EVERYTHING you could ask for when it came to getting me back on the road SAFELY.

Wife took her car to get oil change and tire rotation. When car was dropped of it had one tire that was low on pressure. When she picked it up the tire was still in same location. Meaning tires were not rotated. Service manager was notified of the problem and how it was obvious the tires had not been rotated. Even with the facts he defended the employee who claimed they rotated tires. Saying how he had watched said employee rotate many of tires on other vehicles. If you need service done on your vehicle I would recommend another dealership. No telling how many others have paid for services that were never performed.

Had NO intentions of car shopping. So my daughter and I ended up at Blackburn. A salesman greeted us, how could he help us. We stated that we saw a vehicle on the web. Charles Canda said let him check on it. Turns out the vehicle was still available. We test drove it. I was very pleased with Charles’ knowledge of it. We also test drove a second vehicle, but I knew he had sold me on the 2020 Nissan Rogue, plus my daughter was very pleased. Charles really took care of business for us. We really need more salesmen like him. It was truly a joy to have done business with him. The rest is history. Thanks Blackburn.

I would not recommend this place if you have to do business with the Service Manager, Henry. I called Blackburn a few days before I was planning on coming in to get my car serviced because I knew I needed a belt replaced and I wanted to make sure that the part was in stock before I arrived so my car would not be in the shop for several days. I asked to make an appointment but was told it was not necessary. I talked to Henry the Service Parts Manager and he informed me that the belt for my Nissan was in stock and it would be no problem to come the first of next week and they would get everything taken care of. I brought my car to the shop in the morning and in the afternoon I got a call saying the did not have a belt for my car and the part would need to be ordered. I asked what happened to the belt and Palmer (i think that was his name) said he had no idea so I asked for the manager to see if maybe he knew. The manager (Henry) told me he had no idea where the part was because he worked in service and not inventory or parts. I told the manager I called and talked to someone who said the belt was in stock and the manager asked who I talked to...it was him...Henry in the Service Department. He had absolutely no recollection of talking to me and confirming the part was in stock. He told me I dont know what happened to the part but the best we can do is order another one to come in tomorrow. I told him the whole reason I called ahead was so that my car would not have to sit in the shop and asked if he could tell me what happened to the belt that was previously in stock. He said he has to go to a managers meeting and he would ask the parts manager. The parts manager forgot he put the belt aside for my car. I also asked for a quote on my car for work documentation where the guard rail had come down on the drivers side and scratched the paint as well as leaving paint scuffs. I was not given a quote. I was told that they just buffed it out, however I was not asked before hand if that was okay. There are still scratches in my car, deeper than just paint, from the guard rail and I cannot get another quote because the damage is only partially taken off and the work was not even completely finished. I would definitely not recommend this place to get your car repaired as they do not keep an inventory of what they have and the communication between departments is non-existent according to Henry.

They have come a long ways since my last experience with Blackburn. The wait times has improved significantly. The staff is knowledgeable and eagerly to help with issues regarding your vehicle. However I wish they wouldnt charge consumers a diagnostic fee if you dont allow them to repair your vehicle purchased from the Blackburn dealership.

While I am totally in love with most of the products that Blackburn Nissan offers, my recent experience with the body shop has left me very disappointed. To this day, there are still unresolved issues with the work performed by the Blackburn Nissan body shop. The shop had my vehicle for 30 days and still did not finish the job.

The overall service on my vehicle met my expectations. However, I do believe it would be better practices to inform customers of the cost of the additional services and labor prior to providing those services. I came in for an oil change and an in-cabin filter for my Nissan Rogue. The service provider suggested I have my breaks flushed. I was alarmed at the cost of the labor when I returned to pick up my vehicle. In the future, please inform customers of the cost of services when additional services are suggested.

I bought a 2016 Maxima. I was in a hurry and didnt check the car. The sales agent had the car waiting for me. The finance manager was great. He didnt try to sell me products that I didnt want. I realized the next day when I looked at it the treads on the tires are low. It still had all of the original tires. I drove it to Nashville and the temperature dropped. I turned the heat on for the first time to find out the drivers side of front the unit only blew cool air. I called and reported the problem to be told by a service manager that if it is not covered by the warranty that I will be charged for the repair even though I just bought the car and turned it on for the first time. I appreciate the finance manager, but I only got rhetoric in regards to taking care of the customer after the sale.
