The crew was very professional & courteous, on-time, asked for feedback on decisions, and very pleasant to work with. They worked around multiple flower beds and were very careful to preserve plants. I am sure my fence project was not the biggest job of the summer, but I appreciated how they treated my small fence replacement with the professionalism and quality that the bigger project would receive.

I called around for estimates, I believe I ended up with 4 different quotes, including The Fenceman, which ended up being the cheapest for the quality they were offering. I got a real rough estimate from them over the phone (obviously nothing confirmed/in writing), then we scheduled an estimate for them to come out to my place about a week after I called.Tim (the owner as I understand it) came out to do the estimate, and was polite, very down to earth and to the point. I explained what I was trying to do, certain things I wanted, and had a handful of questions that he easily had the answers to. He gave suggestions without pushing his opinions too much to factor on my decision-making. It was a nice two-way discussion, rather than feeling like I was just taking part in a sales call.From then, we scheduled the install for about 6 weeks out (this is the beginning of Summer when we had it done, so they were starting to get booked since everyone wants to do their fence in the summer!). As proposed, during the week before they came out, they had all the necessary people come to spray/locate all the sewer/power/gas lines underneath where we were going to have the new portions of the fence put in, and all the posts dug out. I think they even had to call a private locator because the city was really backed up for part of it, but nevertheless, they made sure it was done before the team came out to install.The Friday they came out for the first appointment, they came out, tore the old fence down, dug, and set all the new steel posts for where the fence and gates were going. During this, there were some frustrations/complications with my neighbor (even though I notified them), but the team of 4 that was out for the installation were all really cool, and the guy (I forget their names) that appeared to be the team lead was above and beyond, giving me tips on certain things to help my situation. All the guys that came out were extremely nice, and were even patient with my 4-year old boy who kept wanting to follow them around and ask questions about what they were doing every step of the way!They wrapped up the first day, and let the posts set in the concrete for a week to come back the following Friday and finish the fence. They came back as promised in their window and went straight to work, again being patient with my 4-year old, wrapped up, answered any questions I had through the whole process, and went on their way.Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. It was the best price I found, everyone at the company Ive talked to has been super nice and respectful, and the work was quality construction that appears as it will last quite a while. The ONLY downside was the amount of time it took to get an install date (about 6 weeks from the estimate), but that comes with the territory of a small family-owned company who offers such good quality for that low of prices!

Waited a month and half for someone to come out and look at the job only to be told he doesnt want the job, even though it is a basic good neighbor fence similar to the others in the neighborhood.

These guys are all awesome. They worked with me while I dealt with the neighbors rental company (tmg was a nightmare) and was able to answer all the questions I had. They came out when they had told us the crew knocked out the work in a short time and the fence looks better then we could of dreamed of. Then to top of off when the job was done they told me my measurements where a little off ( thanks to the tmg guy that took those measurements) and my bill was gonna be cheaper than quoted. Great news for us when they could of just taken the extra money and we would of never known otherwise. These guys are a stand up company and will be using them again on the next house

I ordered a 12 foot custom gate & some cedar fencing. I had never built / installed one before, but both owner Tim, & employee Cody, were outstanding & patient in answering all my questions, & even more-- in giving me great TIPS on how to approach the project. The gate was fabricated by The Fenceman based on my measurements, & it was DEAD ON the right size when I went to install it. I had a question while installing the gate because it didnt fully open, & when I called Cody, he explained that he built the gate with an INSIDE swing, (vs. the outside swing that I was attempting), & that resolved my apparent problem. The Fenceman is a great local company that will help you with your project, OR install it for you. I had originally looked at another local fence company, but they had specified treated posts for my project, which I wasnt real comfortable with, given our soggy weather. The Fenceman recommended STEEL gate posts & fence posts, which I am MUCH happier with! The job turned out VERY WELL, thanks to their support & detailed information. We had a couple boards down on our fence unrelated to service. We had previously used The Fenceman Fence Company at fencemancompany.com to replace our entire fence after some weather damage and were very pleased with their work so we wanted to engage them again for these repairs. I emailed them asking what it would cost to replace the boards. Coupla days later I hear some construction only to find out theyd sent their team to replace the boards, no charge. I cant even express how very much I appreciated them. Theyre an honest team with community work ethics and that just feels like how a home should be covered.

Fenceman is simply the best fence company in Clark Co. I talked with many different fence companies and some craigslist finds and nobody could match the pricing and expertise of Fenceman. We had a decent sized duplex that needed to be fully enclosed in a new fence. Most installers like to use wooden posts or round steel posts. These either rot out quickly or are prone to twisting. The square c-channel posts that Fenceman uses are the real deal. They will outlast anything else on the market and reason enough to chose Fenceman over other companies. Their installation crew is also very experienced and talented. We needed some modifications to the fence because of a concrete slab that was poured in the way. It looked like a big problem to me but sure enough they had a solution worked out in no time and I couldn’t be happier. Go with Fenceman. You won’t be disappointed.

Needed to increase the height of my 4 foot fence due to my rambunctious dogs. Tim (owner) came right out and went over the project with me. They are booked more than a month out but that worked out well due to several trees that were growing in my fence that needed to be extracted. They came the day of appt to tear down and set some posts. 1 week later they came and installed my new 6 foot fence. The guys were on time and worked until after dark to finish my fence on time. Reasonable prices and wonderful guys with solid work ethic.These guys are the best place in all of Clark County if you need a fence. Give them a try.

Two summers ago I believe we had our new fence put in from this outstanding company. Since we have a big dog, we were worried about him being able to peek out but it came out beautiful. A Few days ago we noticed that we could not open our gate & as women could not even get the bolt to loosen up LOL. When we called not only did we get Great customer service, they sent someone out within two days to fix our gate. It is now opening and closing perfectly. Now that is what I call customer service and I would recommend this company to anybody who needs a new fence or just a little tuneup on a gate. Thank you so much to the people at Fenceman.

We just finished having our second job done by the Fenceman, and I highly recommend them. They did a radius vinyl fence last time, and a black metal ornamental most recently. Everyone we worked with was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They are a smaller company and it may take a while to get on their list for work, but there is a reason that they always have a long list of people waiting for their services. Quality work at a fair price.

After doing my homework and several bids I found most of the pricing very similar. I choose the Fenceman 1st because of the personal and prompt attention. 2nd I felt the structural design to be of better quality then others.The work was performed beyond my expectations! The installers were prompt, professional and thorough.Although, I dont foresee a need in the near future, I wouldnt hesitate to call them again and highly recommend these folks!!

We have had our fence re-done recently by Fenceman. They did three sides at first, including two gates, and it was just beautiful. The second part was just done last Friday. They are on time, professional, tidy, and willing to go an extra mile to get the job done correctly. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone, and would be glad to be given as a reference.

Earlier this summer, Tim consulted with me on fence & gate design to work properly with our pre-built large raised bed garden structure.Tim showed me how we could align the new fence and size the gate to maximize the use of the available space while still meeting the CC&R’s of our development. Tim basically had a “handshake deal” with me that same day.The Fenceman Company’s paperwork arrived in a couple days. It was straightforward and matched his verbal quotation. When the crew arrived, I couldn’t be more pleased with the professional skills and cheerfulness of Derek and Cody.The fencing materials were much better quality than what I’ve seen in the “big-box” stores and the fence latch “pulls” were the newer, spring-loaded pull types. Post holes are dug deep and the c-channel steel fence posts are extremely strong and stable. Cedar lumber was high-quality and very nice looking.I highly recommend this local company for your fencing needs.

Dee with Fenceman was an amazing source of information for me as I began to learn about the process of replacing a 78 ft. “good neighbor” fence. I had never don’t any fencing work so I of course had a ton of questions. She and I spoke a few different times and she was extremely helpful in explaining how much of what I would need and even emailed some pics and info as well. After physically checking out their pickets and those from other companies we decided on the Fenceman for our cedar pickets, cedar rails and for our metal C-posts. I did see that some had gouges and some had pretty obvious cracks etc. and asked if they screened for that type of stuff when loading them up for sale. She assured me they did. A few weeks later I called to see if I needed to place orders ahead of time or if they always had plenty of stock available. When I called (2-weeks ahead of the job date) I found out that they were not even going to be open that next weekend at all. After checking she indicated that they would not be open the following weekend either. Closing down for 2 different family occasions. I must say I was shocked. They advertise certain business days and hours and those that work weekdays and contractors and such would expect to be able to show up on Saturday and get product. It’s a good thing I called because my husband and I had the day scheduled off work and arranged for help to put up this fence and we would have been up a creek. Interesting that a business used by so many contractors working weekends would not have coverage for at least selling product during their listed business hours. Anyway, I quickly arranged to get help picking up the product the very next day. When I got there, nobody was available to help load the pickets as I was told, so my family and I were loading them and setting aside any with bad spots or cracks longer than 1 inch. It became uncomfortable real quick when Dee came over and said we could not pick through them like that. I was shocked as she had assured me they would be checking them when they loaded them and I reminded her of that and was told that anything with a “4 INCH” crack or less was acceptable. That was not at all what was said to me when we were there checking out their boards and I was not about to load my truck with a bunch of boards with serious blemishes. I asked if I was going to be forced to take those and she got snippy and walked off. Next thing I know a man is out there, “helping” us and he is taking big stacks to our truck without looking at them and I asked him to please not do that. He then told me we could not look at each one. I said that is not what I was told originally and I already paid for them and asked him to please stop putting them in the truck that my family and I can handle it. Dee came back by again and was clearly irritated and a bit later a different man came out checking up on things. Several times a stack of them were just loaded into my truck against my wishes. They said that we could not just take the good ones and leave a stack of bad ones for them to hold onto. I was so upset at this point. Complete false information of what kind of product they actually expect you to take and how it would be handled. I just said I am either going to look at them now or I will bring every single one back that is bad enough, either way it should not be the customer to eat the cost of boards that are blemished. I wasn’t going to be happy if my fence could not be finished the day I had help, due to needing to bring too many of them back and I again asked them to stop grabbing them by the stack full without us having a chance to see them first. Needless to say it was a very uncomfortable situation and I did end up having to put some unacceptable boards on my new fence because there were just too many that ended up in our truck and we needed to get the job done. They could have charged me a bit more per board, but making me purchase what I was not pleased with, Unacceptable! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!!

Great srevice, installation, & price! We are extremely happy with the job! It was installed in our uneven field with a kennel, pen, 2 walk through gates & 1 5ft gate for the mower to go through so it was not an easy job. Thank you so much Fenceman & Crew!
