Worth the wait! Pioneer just built an 8ft tall, 44’ long horizontal cedar fence. Exceeded my expectations. They spent 3-1/2 days. Excellent finish work and attention to detail. Didn’t cut corners. Fair price too! I’m confident my new fence will last many, many years. I highly recommend. Last photo is with stain 30days later.

The acrylic patio cover we requested was like none other. It was a one off and had to be designed from scratch. Robert and his team had the can do attitude all the way through the project, and we couldnt be more pleased with the outcome. The form, fit and finish is spot on ! Pioneer Fence Company exceeded my highest expectations... Our old fence had fallen down due to high winds so I got at least 4 contractors to come out and give us an estimate. Jennifer took my call and her husband Robert came as promised to give my neighbor and I an estimate since we share the fence. Robert was kind, thorough and professional. We did not feel pushed and he wrote us an estimate with a fair price after measuring and seeing everything that needed to be done. Robert even picked up the old fence to protect the grass and secured it since my neighbor couldnt do it because he just had surgery. Robert would always return my calls and answered all my questions. Even though it was raining heavily when the guys came out to work on the fence, they were kind and worked very hard. I described how I wanted the gate to look like and it turned out even better than I expected. I will definitely hire Pioneer to work on my deck and patio cover needs. Called and left a VERY detailed message about getting an estimate for a fence installation(detailed exactly what I wanted done). I never heard back from them. It would not have bothered me so much if they hadnt been referred to me by another company that was unable to help me (something I mentioned in the voice-mail). Very annoying. Dont know how this company is referred by others.

From the very beginning I was impressed with Pioneer Fence and Deck. I was never pressured into decisions and there was no feeling of up-selling to increase the price. My job was a rather large deck with a cover. I asked to do the project in 2 phases. In fact, I had a few requests of my project that were met with both professionalism and courtesy, as well as enthusiasm. I felt completely comfortable working with the owners and all my requests were met. I never felt like this was just another job to them.Pioneer Fence and Deck has an AMAZING (deck) crew! They worked well together, they worked hard to meet deadlines, they are really nice guys! One thing, among many, that I liked about the crew is that they always left the work site clean at the end of each day. Tidy! They kept me informed of their progress and included me on decisions when necessary.The finished product turned out better than I expected. The attention to detail and finishing touches made the whole thing. My deck is something that I will enjoy all year for many, many years to come. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and the owners! They made me feel important and treated me like family.

Pioneer Deck and Fence was absolutely terrific! All the guys that came to our home were professional, efficient, and obviously cared about the work they did. We were happy with this project from the time Robert came to do the bid, until the final inspection was complete. The quality is outstanding. Pioneer did all the design work and made suggestion on lighting, and skylights, and the completed project is better than we ever hoped for... At a better price than most of the competitors. I would strongly recommend giving them a call if you are looking to have work done.

We could not be happier! We had a new house built and needed a patio cover added to the back next to the small one the builder did. Robert came up with a plan that looks like it was a built together right down to the gutters. He even drew a plan to help us get HOA approval. It has held up to rain sun and snow. I asked to have my old pillars removed and replaced with something that fit the exterior of my home. I really didnt have any idea what I wanted or what would look good so left it up to them. The finished product looked amazing! They came to my house while I was at work and replaced the pillars, cleaned up the old mess, and left me with a beautiful end result. Ive talked to many people who have used Pioneer Fence, Deck & Patio Cover for their large upscale projects to the simple ones like mine (I do my research before hiring someone), and everyone has been very pleased. Im not sure what that one person on this site who rated them with only one star experienced, but im sure it is not as bad as he/she says (over reaction, perhaps?). Robert and his team rebuilt our deck with high quality materials and with an attention to detail and precision that makes us love our deck. They were flexible and very responsive during the rebuild process. We highly recommend them!

I had a fence installed for privacy, which I have enjoyed. However, there were some issues that I was not aware of until after the fact. First, a side gate was installed and anchored to my neighbor’s fence without anyone’s consent. This was alarming to my neighbor and he was very upset. We were never notified or consulted on this, the company took liberty to act on their own. Secondly, I have now discovered that my sprinkler line was broken, while installing the posts. My sprinkler man said he found the parts of the line thrown back in the hole. My sprinkler system is obvious to the eye, so total disregard to proper installation was ignored. The damage has now evolved into clogging the main line and now I’m having to have major unexpected repairs due to this neglect. My sprinkler man said, your probably out of luck and they are not going to make it right. Fine details in the contract seem to allow for this carelessness. This is an expensive lesson for this homeowner who is now having to cover the cost. Left the company a message, I’m not expecting a call from the company. Buyer beware! Very very disheartened and can no recommend. Facts and photos don’t lie.

After suffering recent snow storm damage to my patio cover, I called Pioneer fence who installed my cover three years ago. Robert immediately sent a crew member to my home on a Sunday afternoon to temp support the cover until they could assess the damage and repair it. A few days later the crew arrived and made the permanent repairs on the cover and all at no cost to me! Thats premium customer service!!

Pioneer built an 8 foot swing gate for us on the side of our house. They tore out the old one and took all of the scraps and built the new one with in a couple of days. The price, and services received were excellent.

Robert and Jennifer were awesome to work with building our new cedar deck. They had a space open up and jumped in and got our deck done earlier than expected which turned out awesome.John and Ricky were awesome craftsman who did a beautiful job constructing, kept the space very clean, and even played with our dog on their lunch break!I will definitely call Pioneer back for any additional work in the future.

Robert and their team are just great. From beginning until the end of the job, they were professional, honest, and communicated well.We had a patio cover put up over our second story deck. Obtained bids from three other competitors and Pioneer was the lowest bid. I think that was because their bid was straight forward and not over priced to begin with and padded with “discount” room.Robert communicated well to set up a build day. On day of build, Jonathan and Rick showed up and they were GREAT!! Super professional and polite. Couldn’t ask for a better crew. They took the time to make sure what we wanted and made great suggestions to improve the setup.Plus I love supporting our veterans too and the ones who sacrificed so much for our country!

Called TWICE. Got voice message. Left detailed message. No answer back. Gave it a couple of weeks. Called again in the morning. By end of the business day, still no call back. Meanwhile, I called their competitor Patio Cover people and left message. After hours too I may add. Got call back from Jason in about 20 minutes. All I can gather is that PFD&C are so busy that they dont need extra clients and dont have time to return calls.

We needed repair for our vinyl white fence as it had been hit by a vehicle. Robert came out within a couple of hours. Repaired it. Service, kindness and professionalism was amazing. And the price was right. Can we adopt him? Haa

We contacted Pioneer to do some fencing around our property and a driveway gate. They came out and did some black chain link around our property which turned out beautiful! Their communication before and during the job was perfect. The employees that came out to do the fencing were professional and did a great job cleaning up and the quality is top notch. We also recently had them do some farm fencing and gates for a chicken coop and donkey pen. We love it and it turned out amazing!! These guys know what they are doing. From start to finish, the experience, product and results were outstanding! I would definitely recommend (and have) using Pioneer Fence, Deck and Patio Cover.

Got a couple of bids for a fence and pioneer was cheaper by far. They had an opening much sooner than we expected and completed the project in 2.5 days. We keep getting compliments from neighbors on how great it looks. Will be using them for our deck project in the future!

I have phoned, emailed, used the contact page, and stopped by the physical building to ask about building a cover for a breezeway. They have not responded to any of my attempts and when I stopped by, they were locked up even though the posted hours said they would be open.

If you can ever get them to call you back for an appointment, very good company and quality results but Good luck.

I dont object to giving 5 star reviews but the vendor has to earn it. Everyone starts with 3 stars. I mean seriously, this is their business. Three stars ought to be an average job. Screw up and starrage goes down. Go above and beyond and starrage goes up.I was going to build this 15x20 covered patio myself. But seriously, I own a business, I have a half dozen projects in one or another state of completion, and spring is on the way. Some friends had used Pioneer and recommended them whole-heartedly. I did a little checking around and could have gotten a deck for a little less. But when we met with the owner, Robert, we brought a sheaf of illustrations of what we did and didnt want. He was very accommodating, offered some excellent suggestions, and gave us a quote that was right in line with our expectations and budget.But I havent gotten to the good part yet.The Pioneer crew that built our deck was exceptional. They did any number of little things that werent precisely necessary by the terms of the contract. They were efficient, professional, friendly, and left the yard spotless. Most importantly, the deck surpassed all of our expectations. Highly recommended.

Found Pioneer on Google Search. Stopped by to see what was available in a clear patio cover. Jennifer was wonderfully helpful and summoned Robert to talk with us then and there!Robert was fully informed, well spoken, and laid out the specifications for the product clearly. We choose a gable roof design for the Grill Deck and Hot Tub Deck.Aluminum frame, clear acralate cell panels. Crew showed up on time, took three days to finish and did a fine job. Cleaned up afterwords.We live in Western Washington where rain is King, but no more worries about Grilling or Hot Tubbing it any more.We did not want to interfere with natural light in house, hence clear panels.We are OCD but Pioneer met our expectations and more.Neil & Bettie

We had Pioneer fence install 850 feet of 6 foot black chain link fence on our rural property in February 2018. The work was done on time and at the price agreed to and the quality of the workers was first rate. It is now late June 2018 and I called early this week for some warranty assistance on one of the 5 gates that were installed on the project. Yesterday the owner of the company came to my home and personally took care of the problem. To my surprise he also spent well over an hour adjusting the other 4 gates and making some modifications to each to insure their longevity. I am so impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

I got off work at 2:30 today and headed to Pioneer to buy some Traeger supplies. As they are closed on Saturday and Sunday, after work is my only chance to go there. I got there at 2:52, cars were in the lot went to the door and a closed sign was right above the business hours sign which states 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. Wouldnt be a big deal if it werent for the fact that I drove five miles out of my way to get there. Wont make that mistake again.

These guys do amazing work. We had a tough project with a lot of design constraints but they worked with us to find a solution and build a deck and covering that we love. I highly recommend then!

We began searching for a company to replace our fence last fall because ours was beginning to fall apart . We were also looking to have a deck built in our small, condo sized backyard. Pioneer was the first company to arrive and after having several others out following their visit, we decided to go with them. It was an excellent choice indeed! The fence and deck came out beautifully, everyone was very professional all the way down the line and the jobs were top notch. We are very much looking forward to BBQing this year on the new deck, that is if we ever get an actual summer!

Pioneer Fencing was quick to give an estimate and bent over backwards to give us the dream fence we were looking for and at an affordable price ..$2k cheaper than competition! Their crew was courteous and professional. We and our neighbor were wowed with the straightest, leveled fence we have seen. The estimator (who is the owner) never mentioned at the estimate that he gets his wood from the south (crew told me) and is thicker (1/4 thicker-we measured) than Regular fence boards so will last much longer. They are beautifully variegated in color, hues of pink, cream and brown. You cant DIY with Home Depot and get this quality or beauty. When the poles were being set, I asked a crew member about staining and he said clear is what he would do. I thought that would so plain until we saw the fence! We will be staining it clear! My neighborhood online recommends Pioneer Fencing and we are so glad we did!

Watch out. They dont follow rules about using locate services - according to Washington State law it is required. If an underground utility is damaged as a result of a failure to comply with all the requirements of the new law, the party that failed to comply is liable not only for such damages, but also for the other party’s reasonable attorney fees if any lawsuit is brought.

I chose Pioneer Fence Deck & Supply to build a small 2-piece arbor for my backyard, because I had stopped in one day and purchased a Traeger smoker/grill from them and was impressed with Rob and Jennifers excellent customer service. Rob came out and drew up a design and gave me a quote on-site that day. When the team came out to work on the project, they put down tarps to keep the mud off my patio and left the yard clean and tidy after they left. While the guys were working on the arbor, one of them noticed my fence (built by another company) was leaning down and gave me a quote to get it fixed. I not only got a beautiful arbor, but my fence was also fixed before it could be further damaged. I believe in utilizing and supporting local businesses and can highly recommend Pioneer for quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Our neighbor just hand fencing replaced by pioneer fence company part of her replacement is shared with our yard. The new fencing was put in maybe 3 weeks ago. We were never notified that they were going to be taking down the shared section of fence and our dog and neighbors dog both almost got out. The posts were very poorly installed and the concrete is above grade. The dirt they dug for posts was just tossed in my flowerbeds. They used interior wood on pats of the fence that are never meant to see water and are now growing mold.they are missing supporting brackets on parts of the fence. We have called the company 2 times and left messaged to come to a resolution with no response. My husband went into the businedd this morning only to have an associate be confrontational with him and not provide any managment information. This is very poor business and i feel like my elderly neighbor

After getting the bid we called to schedule the installation of the fence. We were told we would get an email the next day confirming the date of installation. Since we did not receive an email we called a week later to find out a possible date and only got an answering machine and never received a call back. Then sent an email out with no response. Finally got a call the night before they were going to come out to install. We walked the fence line and showed them where we wanted the fence which included a radius S curve. Nick and his assistant setup and got to work. We were trying to explain the S curve but Nick was very short and seemed irritated with what we were trying to get across. They set up their cement mixer on the lawn and not the gravel driveway and made a huge muddy mess. I had to hand pick out the rocks and rake the lawn to try to pull the grass out of the mud they created. They got all the posts set and were not sure when they would be back to install the rails. While we were running errands the next morning we got a call from them saying they were at the house to install the rails which was very frustrating. With the rails installed, they discovered they were short caps for the posts and Robert (the owner) was going to bring them out later and collect his check. So he shows up, drives over the muddy area they made with his big truck just to get a little closer and chose not to stay on the gravel driveway. Who does that anyway? While we had been looking at the fence we saw that they had not put an end post at the the end but a connecting post with holes on the other side. We had asked for that to be changed out before we paid and Robert called me petty for asking them to do a correct job. PETTY! Really?Their motto is They wanted a location that had a small town feel but yet offered all customers professional service that went above and beyond those of other companies. Pioneer fence were quick to criticize other fence companies work but did not hold themselves to that high standard. For the amount of money we spent, we expected a superior job without the attitude. We will not ever use them again and highly recommend anyone who needs a fence done look elsewhere.

I have now had the experience of hiring Pioneer Fence Deck & Supply Company twice and I cannot say enough about Rob and Jennifer . They were prompt and polite to begin with and the work done was exquisite . They know what they are doing and they do it well . They are also very good about insuring your satisfaction after the work is finished, unlike several other outfits I have experienced . Also, they do not make any effort to increase your costs as the job progresses.

Great experience with Pioneer Fence. We had them install an acrylite cover over our front entrance and we also purchased a new Traeger. Robert came out when scheduled and provided a bid for our project. Jennifer followed up with information regarding the Traeger and provided great customer service. The installers were on time, finished in a couple of hours and did a great job cleaning up the job site. We would recommend them to others and will use them again for future projects.

This company is run very poorly. I have many emails showing what they said they would do and that they would speak with me before beginning work, but they did not. They did not build the fence the way that they said they would and then just expected to be paid for it anyway and when I asked them to fix it they told me they would just come rip it out and file a lien on my property. They were very threatening and intimidating and then told me to end communication because I was supposedly harrassing them. At this point I am concerned for my safety and my property. Dont use these people!!!

We love our fence! We went fence shopping and hit HD, Lowes and read reviews of other places online. We really liked the reviews for Pioneer and we had Pioneer come out to our house with for an estimate the next day. Their price installed is almost as low as the do it your self stores for us having it done for us with Pioneer!I was so happy about my fence I told everyone.My neighbors were so shocked on how fast they got it up! Her husband drove by in the morning and she asked him about it that afternoon and he said what fence there wasnt one there this morning! low in behold he went for a walk and we had a fence and we told him about what wonderful service we got from them.Robert is the man who came out and got this all set up with his team and we are very happy to finally have a back yard with privacy!Thank you SO much we appreciate it so much!!! We say almost every time we are back there how nice it is to have a private back yard!

They came out and gave me a quote for two gates to be installed. They said they would fit me in between projects within the next month because the job was so small. One month came so I called and they said we are sorry we are busy right now and we cant do it till next Thursday. I said ok. They never showed up or called.

Stopped by at 11:30 on a Thursday and there was a sign on the door “closed for lunch”. Went out if my way to go here so upset they weren’t open. Then I called them at 3:30 and no one answers their phone and their voicemail is full. I am assuming they closed early for the day. Not good business.

I have gone by to the store front several times during normal working hours and they are always closed. I left a voice mail and never got a call back

Was looking for fencing near my neighborhood, so as I was driving by, I noticed this business on Hwy 99 had a display of fencing in their parking lot. I went into their office, and upon noticing that there was no fencing inside, I walked into an open warehouse to see if I could find something inside. Someone then came from inside of the office to ask what I was looking for. The woman, who later said she was the owner of the business asked what I was looking for, and I told her fencing, at which time she walked away, telling someone who had come up from her warehouse to wait on me. As she walked away, I heard her say something under her breath, and I followed her into an office, assuming was upset with something I said, whereupon she swore at me and told me to leave her business. As I was leaving I told her she was a real b____, and left. Apparently this owner was having a real bad day, and has very little customer service experience. I will continue looking for fencing for my house, but I will go out of my way to buy it somewhere else.
