Placed my order, they asked if I wanted to tip and I said to add $1.00. She took it upon heself to tip more than I was providing and straight up stole money from me! Makes me wonder how many times she has done this and with how many customers??! Keep your eye on your bank account! Cant be trustedcoffee tasted burnt and overly sweet. This location has always been the worst... try Salmon Creek or The BR on Andresen by Home Depot.

I love Black Rock coffee and prefer it over any other coffee shop! That being said, I found two of their autumn seasonal drinks this year (2020) to not be good at all.I know this is personal preference, but The Toffee Nut Latte and Maple Bar Chiller both taste very artificial and I couldnt finish either one. Id love to try a pumpkin based drink but I always go back to my old faithful: iced Irish CoffeeAbout this location, they are always very fast and friendly and the disappointing drinks will not keep me from trying new ones in the future 😊

This location has gone downhill in the past couple months. About 1/3rd of the drinks I buy are incorrect/made wrong. I used to love this drivethrough but I will not be returning.

I really enjoyed my blackout mocha, rich and hot! The staff was outgoing in a genuine way. It may be the smallest of Black Rock’s that I’ve been in but it does have seating. From the outside I wasn’t sure at 1st. It’s located within a shopping center so there’s free parking.

Fantastic service, fantastic people. I stop here 2-3 times a week on my way to work. Employees are super friendly, quick, and put a positive spin on my morning. Im not even a big coffee drinker, but its become part of my regular routine.

Staff is always awesome! Drinks are always correct, and even when my sister spilled hers all over the car, they gladly gave her another free one.

Stopped by around 4:15pm and two young girls were working. No cars were around as I pulled up and they were in the back of the shack chatting and I waited probably 30 seconds for her to open the window and got a what do you want with a blank fish stare. I asked her what holiday specials they have and she pointed at a sign outside and started talking to her friend again. I asked her to describe what options I had with the drinks and she told me small medium and large obnoxiously so I drove away. Hopefully this employee does not stay there long term or I wont be coming back.

No small talk here. Always genuine conversations with the team at this location! They take the time to not just get to know your drink but also getting to know you. Look forward every morning to swinging by.

Super disappointed with the service today. I asked for a half temp coffee because my mouth was burned. The lady working there just made a regular coffee and dumped ice cubes in it. So the top of the coffee was cold and bottom scalding hot. I brought it back and she didnt apologize or offer to make a fresh one correctly. She just asked if I wanted her to warm the half cold, half scalding coffee back up. I wound up leaving it with her, no credit offered or anything and went to Ditch Brothers, they made it correctly for me.

Visited here for the first time yesterday morning, and loved it! Its right next to where I get off to go to work, so the location is super convenient for me. There was only one person in front of me, and when I walked up the the window, the young lady who took my order was super sweet. Ended up getting a Caramel Blondie, and was definitely impressed by how fabulous the coffee was - especially from a coffee chain! Definitely will be returning soon.

I went to this black rock hoping I was getting to try some new coffee, as I was visiting from out of state. Unfortunately the management seemed very unprofessional and rude. I was not impressed. Wouldn’t be going back unless it was for the lovely ladies working there with their great attitudes and service....

The employees are friendly and care very much about the product they serve. The quality of my drink is consistently good. I would give 5 stars but whomever manages this stand made a poor decision to cut the staffing back at one of the busiest times of the afternoon so sometimes there are long waits.

Im no coffee connoisseur but this place knocked me on my butt! I am wide awake and loving it! For a coffee stand, it was ridiculously good & was definitely worth my normal bucks that I spend at that other place! Sorry other place, I cheated on you with a Caramel Blondie and it is awesome! Service here was fast and friendly and definitely worth the short morning detour.

This is my favorite coffee place in Vancouver, and in Portland. The coffee is always amazing. Its strong, but not too strong, its sweet but not too sweet, it is just amazing. I love the amazing, cheerful, and patient baristas. The service is just as good as the coffee they make, amazing. I would go here any day. I recommend the Caramel Blondie, the Irish Coffee, and the Blackout. I still have more drinks to try but I have loved each and every one.

The service is good at all locations I have been to. The Mexican Mocha is better. I just switched to almond milk and stevia. Still the best choice on the menu.

I’ve always had great coffee from here and exceptional service. I always get a Mexican Mocha vegan and it’s amazing. I hate tipping when coffee is so expensive but these people have always earned it.

The quality is hit and miss. One time great the other time not so much. Suggest more barista training to make drink quality consistent.

New employees should be taught that it’s not fair for the customer to wait a long period of time while the employee is socializing with friends. And with a time crunch to get to work, the employee still got bothered because we honked and proceeded to apologize, but that it was an old friend they had not seen in a long time. I mean are you coming to work or to socialize? It was very disappointing because I am a customer that comes here daily and had not experienced this unprofessionalism.

My family spends about 300 dollars a month, very sad I know, at your place. We are very much regular customers. I think that is sucks that I can hardly ever drink my coffee anymore. People are not paying attention to the recipies or there is not a distinct enough process to produce good coffee all the time. I have drank Irish coffee for years I know what it tastes like. I have had anything from something that resembles a whiskey shot to warmed milk from the store near me, which neither resemble Irish coffee. I went to another coffee shop and they use measuring glasses for their syrups and milk and their coffee is very consistent. I have gone in and complained my coffee does not taste good at black rock and they tell me they dont know why because they followed the recipe they make me a new one and it is a different kind of wrong. I usually go to the one on Andreason and fourth plain they get it 95% of the time. Orchards is just doing as they wish I guess.

Favorite place to go . Right by my house, everyone there is amazing. And my drinks always taste amazing also.

No longer have redbull. When asked to sample their new energy drink I was told no I could buy it. Now I have no reason to buy a drink there.

Boycotting Starbucks first time at Black Rock Coffee got a white chocolate mocha and it was delicious. Employees greeted me with a humongous smile. Needless to say Ive found me a new coffee shop way to go Black Rock

I dont get what the rave is about. Im new to trying Black Rock and after giving it a handful of tries, I am no longer going to Black Rock. There coffee drinks are all sugar and no coffee. I get a stomach ache every time Ive tried to drink there coffee and about 7 sips in I dump it out. What a waste of money! The last few times Ive expressed to do HALF the sweetener and they still put in the full amount. If you are a new customer to Black Rock and you would like to taste your coffee instead of sugar coffee, I highly suggest you get half the sweetener.

Went to the Black Rock Coffee Bar for the first time on Sunday.The coffee and service was very good. The atmosphere was somewhat cold, being that the interior was black and white.I did appreciate the barista offering me a card to come back and receive a free cup of coffee after 10 visits.I will go back to this place again, though I do wish they had a better rewards system similiar to Starbucks.

Hello,I recently discovered Black Rock and love their coffee. It is refreshing to have a place, even a drive through, that is quick, reasonably priced, and tastes so yummy. I went there tonight; passing 3 or 4 Starbucks, because I was craving a Black Rock.I went to my usually location at 136th and Mill Plain in Vancouver Wa. There was no one there as it was 7:29 pm. There was a dark haired boy(clean cut) and a dark hair - medium hair girl working together. There was also a silver pickup in front of me. I though cool. It will be a quick line. After a about 5 mins the truck never moved, no one was making coffee and I realized they were just playing around. The girl was in and out of window and hanging on to the silver truck window. The guy inside Black Rock was laughing and having a good time with no sense of urgency for someone who seriously drove out of their way to come to your store.I have never complained before, but I was so irritated. I sat for at least 8 mins until finally I just said forget it and went around the silver truck. This did not seem to phase the employees what so ever. In fact, I went into Safeway, which is directly in front of Black Rock, shopped and came out. Guess what? The silver truck still there and the girl is still having a wonderful time with her male friend in the silver truck.Super disappointed and re-thinking my switch. Yes- I may get treated like a number and pay a little more at Starbucks. But hey- at least I get served.
