After not getting the detailed info I needed at a big box store for an electric timer I need to buy I called the Vancouver Grover. I was told by phone clerk that she cant pick or get anyone with any specific training on the type of product I needed help with to talk to me . Apparently they only can get the person who is available at the time you call to help you lol..... I guess utilizing problem solving skills like taking my name and number and having the best person call me back is not an option. I then said, pretty sure the manager could direct to me to the right person. I was then told told, there is no manager here this week. And we wonder why so many people shop online. Hey, I tried to give a local business a chance. But at the very least GROVER if you are going to advertise as a specialty store-at least offer better service than a box store. Its not rocket science

Our customer service rep did a fantastic job. He was curious and answered all our questions. However, the service reps working the floor refused to help with questions citing “find the guy helping you, I’m busy doing inventory”. I won’t be coming back here. She had the time to go find him, but not show me a lightbulb 5 feet away. That’s no way to run a business.

Have shopped here for a long time, always very helpful and friendly to everyone. Plumbing, lighting, electrical, water heaters,wall heaters, hot water heaters, they have a great selection and will answer your questions if they can. I highly recommend Grovers.

I called them in a time if need on a Sunday morning for a part for my AC unit. They held it at the desk for me and i was able to get the cool air flowing by that evening. Great service! Thanks.

This is a great place to go if you just need information about your electrical and plumbing issues. Theyre knowledgeable in what they do and dont mind helping you figure it out. I bought a portable washer and dryer and they helped me configure the right parts to hook up.

I am truly a novice when it comes to home repairs, especially plumbing and electrical. No matter what the problem, Grovers has an expert on staff that is able to guide me and answer all my questions. The most amazing part? No matter if you are buying a custom $1500 bathtub or a $2 pipe replacement. They are there to help.Recently, I needed to change the leaky water shut-off valves under the kitchen sink. I worked with Mark. He is the youngest guy in the place, but knew the exact answers I needed and had all the parts and explanations necessary.This is definitely a store I will visit again and again.

Needed some conduit clamps for 2-1/2 sch 40 (2-7/8 OD). Grovers did not disappoint. Most stores just go up to 2 (2-3/8 OD) fyi.

If you havent been to Grover, go check em out. They have the most knowledgeable and friendly staff, and have always had what I need in stock. They fully support customers with a DIY mindset, and work with you to make sure you have everything you need to get the job done right (the first time).

What a great place! I went in today in search of parts for a project. I had a general idea of what I was looking for to make it work but definitely a huge learning curve. When I explained it to Jerry he was not only helpful and patient but enthusiastic. He came up with solutions and helped me piece it all together. Ended up coming in looking for a few parts and seeing if they might work. Left with a different solution all together that will work great!

Its the place you go for hard to find parts. They also happen to have outstanding customer service. Its really hard not love this Grovers.

On a Sunday, I had a bathroom faucet leaking. It was a Delta single lever standard fixture. I went to Grovers with the bad parts, and the friendly and knowledgable staff were able to direct me to the correct repair kit. A new faucet would have cost me 50 to 100 dollars and an uncomfortable time contorting myself under the sink. Instead I spent about 7 dollars. I love this place!

Great prices. very helpful and friendly staff. Well organized and easy to find what youre looking for. I cannot recommend enough. However, sometimes the staff takes a too traditional approach to solving your problem, such as in the case of doing custom additions and other projects. But thats not a bad thing, though they cannot offer advice for keeping to code, Id trust their advice over mine any day in that respect.

As a woman who wears the tool belt in the family, I often get ignored or talk down to when at hardware stores. However, at Grovers I am always treated respectfully and kindly. They have a special desk to help you with any plumbing problem or electric problem and they are incredibly knowledgeable. Their prices are comparable to the big box stores, but with a level of service that is 100% local. If you go, take lots of pictures of your problem. They will help you diagnose exactly what you need and help you get the right parts. They never make you feel stupid or like you cant do the project. Its always sure, no problem. I can help with that!

The Grover staff is always helpful. Sometimes I stump them but if I do it is because I am asking for help with something very much out of the ordinary.

Knowledgeable & courteous. Id give it 5 stars but they didnt carry the bathroom exhaust fan I thought we needed and referred me to a store in Portland. Came home, husband made it look brand new, put a few drops of oil (for electric motors) on the shaft and it works like new. They did however, carry the kitchen sink we needed as ours was broken during remodel, for a very affordable price. Yay!!

Mark at customer service helped me find the right parts and bulbs I needed to restore and bring back to life a vintage light of mine. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and personable along with every other employee I encountered. This was a great experience for me and I couldn’t recommend Grover Electric and Plumming more highly.

Grover is my Harrods. This is my favorite store. My house was built in 1958, and was all original everything. As I have had tp replace plumbing fixtures, heaters, and so forth, which have drastically changed in the past 60 years, Grover has been THE place with the rare and hard-to-find parts I need. And, the staff has been able to answer even the most complex questions about old-fashioned elements. If you ever have a plumbing or electrical project, start with Grover.

Great local plumbing supply and lighting store. The employees here were very friendly and quite helpful. We needed a snake, and they had a nice one for a fair price.

Nice knowledgeable people that will take the time to help you solve what you want to do. Can you buy stuff cheaper? Probably but, is your time to get it right worthless? Guess what, their time is not worthless either and if you take their time and dont buy from them, you are stealing from them. A little more money for expert knowledge is acknowledgement of their value and your integrity. Go their, buy there, you will save more than a few dollars.

I had to update my review. After looking everywhere and nobody having what I needed, I arrived at Grovers Electrical & Plumbing and they had exactly what I needed! This place makes Lowes and The Home Depot look bad! Nobody at Lowes or Home Depot know anything about their department and they never have what I need because they are out of stock or do not carry it! Employees here were knowledgeable and friendly!

It took several minutes before I could get anybody to help me. They dont seem to be very interested in a woman shopping in their store.Ive been here before and had great customer service but not today.I shouldnt have to track down someone to help me in such a small store.

Every plumbing problem Ive had has been solved within 5 minutes of entering this store. Better selection on plumbing parts than any big box store and much better knowledge base. Its corny, but they really do make my day.

My water pipe started leaking at the water meter. Dug it up, found bad CTS poly pipe connector. None of the plumbing suppliers had it. Grover had it, not exact size, but they had adapters to make it work. The gentleman who helped me was knowledgeable and experienced. He got me the parts I need and advice on installing. Thanks.
