I love this place. Its a great place to get tires for a reasonable price. My family and I have gotten our tires her for years. Yeah, sometimes there can be a bit of a language barrier, but Ive yet to be dissatisfied with the service Ive received. Highly recommend.

These guys were friendly and didn’t take long but my two front wheels (the only two they replaced tires on) had all of the lugs seized and cross threaded causing the two in the photo to break. the only reason this happened was a lack of attention, care and possibly knowledge because honda accord lugs don’t need to be at 170 ft/lbs. i’m personally annoyed but lucky that i have car knowledge and a shop to work in but that makes me worry about the average person leaving there safely and without their car getting damaged. seriously unprofessional.

First, these guys move fast and good prices. My problem was after they did a mount and balance, I took it home to remove and clean my wheels, they were super dirty with brake dust and tar. Here was my problem with the install, the lug nut torques were way too high. My car has a torque of 80 ftlbs, I had to use a breaker bar and all of my 200lbs body to loosen the nuts. Then I checked tire pressure, it was 42psi. My car is rated for 30psi, but I normally go up to 32psi for better tire wear. So, if you go here, check to see if you can remove a lug nut and check tire pressure or you will huge problems.

I arrived Monday morning at 8:57 AM the work on my car began at 8:59 AM. I had a screw in my rear passenger tire. I also had my tires rotated. This work was done by 9:12 AM. I cannot express how nice, respectful and “speedy” the Universal Tire crew is .... when you are in a bind give them your time!!!Now I want to add that their competition wasted 15 minutes of my time Saturday evening to tell me I had a screw in my tire which is what I informed them of when I pulled in. However, they made me go through the tire pressure check line and did nothing but waste my time.

I had my tires changed here and when my vehicle was returned to me there were new large scratches and chips in my rims. When I confronted the owner about these makes he would just deny that it was him. If you want to make sure the rims won’t be damaged, I highly recommend taking a picture before taking your vehicle in for a tire change. Overall fast work and good prices.

Im fairly new to Vancouver from Portland and I noticed what sounded like a nail in my tire clicking along as it rotated. I looked online for a place nearby that was open & found Universal Tire. It was so cold & almost closing time yet all the guys were running back & forth talking with the many customers that had shown up. One if the guys asked me to drive up nearer the light as all the bays were taken and he just whipped the tire off my car, found the hole, did the repair and zipped it back on. Didnt know how much it would be so when he said $10. I was pleasantly surprised & thanked him and he pointed to the office. I paid and asked the man there if he had any valve stem caps and he gave 2 to me and my receipt. I will always go there when I need help with or just need tires. So fast, courteous, they werent running away from their customers to quickly lock the doors so they could go home, they were there until the customers had been helped and on their way. I literally came here 20 min before they closed and they had me all taken care before they even closed. Price was good. $200.00 bucks for two new tires, I was so happy that my car wasnt shaking like a leaf when I drove over 50mp anymore. They were very fast, very professional, very knowledgeable and they even said to bring it back in in 5,000 miles for a rotation. I will most definitely be back to get two more new tires before winter is here. Thanks guys!

Called to see if they had the tires I needed in stock. They had them and we can straight over and took the car immediately. They dont mess around! Really good customer service and fast turn around time!

Had A long drive to Idaho the next day in my Jeep cherokee. Had an issue with balancing, shop was very busy but they immediately corrected it and took care of me very quickly. OwnerIs obviously worked very hard but he got me in quick and made it right. Thank you guys!

These guys were actually really helpful. My friend popped his tire and they fixed it right away. Other places were saying for one tire it was gonna be around 200, and here we got it much cheaper and faster.

Tjis tire shop comes through when you have a flat tire. They will sell you a used or new tire, they are kind and go out of their way to help you!

They always have great prices and fast service. Today they knew I was coming to get my windshield replaced and met me in the parking area right when I exited my car, and started working on it while I went inside to wait. Seating was arranged where social distancing was feasible.

No customer service at all. Tried to sell 7 years old tires and was not happy when I figure out. Be careful.

I stopped by there 2 times a month apart to purchase tires and wheels . Both times I was treated second rate, like he didnt have time to look up what I wanted so I bought my tires and wheels online . I took the brand new tires and wheels to them for mounting and balancing . After I installed them I noticed one wheel had a very visible 1/2 bend to the outer lip and a huge amount of weight to offset it . Im sure they bent my expensive new wheel, but even if they didnt the guy running the balancer had to have seen it, but said nothing . It cost me $160 to get it repaired and I wouldnt take a lawnmower tire to them !

Used to be great till I became a regular and they started charging me 3x more for the same mount and balance I came in and paid 20 for the service and 3 weeks later it was 60 then all the way up to 80!

Lied about having time to take off key locked lugs nuts. Said he wouldnt have time until Monday. When I called after I left he said he could do it anytime if I came in, only because I asked to buy tires when I asked the second time. Tried to tell me I needed to go to the dealership when they were after market locks... Lol

The owner is totally rude!!! We have been to the shop a few times previously with our trailer and truck, went back after they put tubes in tubeless tires to have them re-done. The owner said, he wouldnt do it and that they needed tubes, obviously does not know tires.

Great place to get used and new tires. Friendly service that doesnt leave you waiting. I go here when I need a used tire and need to save some money. Theyve always had the size I need in stock.. Until today! But still gonna give them a good review because this is the first time in probably 10 visits that they couldnt replace a blown out tire. Im sure next time theyll have me covered.Edit:. I went back 2 days later and they now had they tire I needed available! They receive new inventory quite often I was told. I did attempt finding the tire at a few other shops without luck. I didnt realize that it was such a common size and therefore in demand

Good service and fair prices

Twice now Ive had them mount race tires for me, and street tires once. All three times Ive been extremely happy. For those who dont know, Miatas are notorious for what they call the 65 mph wobble. If youre wheels/tires arent balanced perfectly, at 65 mph youll know it. Unlike their competitor up the street whos initials are LS, Ive never had the 65 mph wobble after these guys have worked their magic. Their prices were very reasonable and the service was exceptional.

I have been here several times now & every single time Ive had a great experience. I had a flat & went in today & they were done in about 15 minutes! They really have their stuff together there & are on top of it!! It was less than $50 for a good used tire, installed. They were super helpful! It was totally painless! I will definitely continue to go to this place for tires!

Called to see if had right size tire they said yeah come on in! When asked for Price quote they said $50 I asked if that was the only option available they then quoted me $40 for a different tire (same size) which was pleasing having different options, but I counted my money and let them know I only had $35 cash on me and was wondering if they could help me for that price...?... They then gladly let me know to come on in again in a happy sounding voice (same as the rest of the conversation btw) which was awesome to hear after spending days trying to find somewhere to go for the price I was able to spend! 😀To add to this positive review this tire shop also was kind enough to stay open past the hours stated on Google upon my late arrival of just a couple minutes but that was very cool of them to do where as some places dont even think twice when that clock ticks closing time doors are locked for good but not here! I called 3 mins prior to closing and they had no problem with waiting for me! ☺️ Couldnt have been more pleased with their service in every aspect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❗❗❗👍(P. The staff at Universal tire shop go above and beyond. I showed up with a bad tire almost right at closing and they hooked me up with a good tire fast and for a hella good price.

I brought in a new set of and snow tires and a set of rims to have them mounted and balanced. They mounted the tires and then pointed out that the rims didnt fit my car. That was my fault for bringing the wrong size rims. They had a used set of rims in stock and dismounted and remounted the tires for me. Their price was very reasonable and it didnt take them too long. It reay helped me out. I live far away where theres a lot of snow.

Stripped the stud on my wheel then asked me to put my own tires on. I told them my stud was stripped they told me they didn’t have time to replace it and dropped it off the jack. Completely unprofessional and overpriced. Watch these guys work on your vehicle, it will say you did on your receipt regardless.

I couldnt afford brand new tires and was nervous about the up and coming winter season. I found some decent used tires here. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend to schedule early, youre in and out quickly. Otherwise you will have a wait. Its a popular place.

I called and asked if they install tubes, the guy said no and hung up.

Love my new tires and the price was in my range. They were installed quickly and I paid and came out as they were putting the last two wheels back on. Part of what I signed said I watched them torque the lugnuts. That did not happen. When I got home I retorqued all. They were all too tight. Left rear centercap was not installed correctly and my chrome rims have used wheel weights. Was hoping for better. I can correct the mistakes. Can you?

Called this shop to see how much valve stems are to put on rims and were extremly rude.tires are garbage almost all of them have weather wear. So be advised to look for cracks. The owner is always in a rush.. the shop is ran by people that dont speak english and the price is a rip off. Im going to stay in portland cause its better over there....
