My name is Leo & I was a mechanic at the shop during COVID & David the owner that had zero knowledge on vehicles gave pretty much fabricated lies & gave good customers a very nasty attitude. Recently in July Edgar & I had a5 minute notice that he sold the shop. He ran away in his truck & we were dumbfounded. The new owners that speak Spanish told us not to worry. Long story short he knew for over a year & on top of that my Matco box was damaged by the new owners. My custom made American flag, that was for me was thrown in the closet & I found it under boxes. My lower draw does not open & I am disappointed in the fact their promise was in fact a lie. My $3200 tool box seems to have had its structural integrity compromised & my Gear wrench extendable pry bar is missing including other Miscellaneous items. When a man shakes your hand & promises you something in that J& D shop, use caution. I was promised by Marvin & the heavier set man that my things would be safe. I am ashamed & embarrassed that I had respect for David Klein. I’m still waiting for them to live up to their promise.

Dave replaced condenser for my car. The new changed condenser was bent inward and had punctured the radiator, which caused coolant leaking. I went to SD Automotive to ask Dave how and why he fixed my car. He told me “Hey, you just sue me...”I’m going to SUE Dave, the owner of SD Automotive because he damaged the whole A/C system of my Audi Q5, which costs me $3600 to replace a new system including condenser, radiator, tubes, sealing rings and etc. at Audi service store. Dave shirks responsibility. He told me to sue him, and he did not care.If you are going to fix any problem of your car with Dave at S D Automotive, you have to think about my painful lesson. DON’T RUINT YOUR CAR!

Was recommended from a friends father. Went there 3 separate times for maintenance... oil change... tires .. regular stuff ... they were very affordable and had good availability. I recommended 2 friends and they both had positive experiences as well. The owner seems like an honest guy and that’s hard to come by now and days. It’s nice to find a little convenient shop that’s not trying to take your last dollar.

Owner was honest and prices were extremely fair! Every time I had any issue with the car the owner Dave would take my car in and always fixed the issue in a timely fashion! Really impressed with this shop. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest owner of an auto body shop.

02 Mazda 626 with just under 162K miles needed cat an AC condenser & speed sensor installed with all parts purchased online. The condenser went in & the system charged without incident on June 7 however the bolt holding the speed sensor in the transmission case broke inside case & I was told there was nothing he could do.On the 9th, I had a cat converter installed. Again a bolt broke. (Ever hear of soaking with WD 40?)Further no diagnostics were run to ascertain why the converter failed just the explanation that the car was old.I’ve got an appointment at Aamco Transmission to extract the sensor bolt Monday. My impression is that all things considered, SD is good for run of of mill stuff on “newer” cars but they need a “mechanic.”Outside of not being able to extract a broken bolt, his labor pricing was fair & comparable with other shops!
