The icecream here is delicious but I lost my appetite when I saw the staff not wearing gloves, touching everything around them, cleaning up, moving chairs from outside & still serving customers w/o washing thier hands & one even had her mask down eating sunflower seeds or something then reaches to get me the sample of icecream 🤦‍♀️ ... I havent been here in a long tine & after seeing this, I dont think Ill be coming back 🤢

Home made ice cream. Need I say more? Lets start out with the perks especially those with kiddos. Theres parking! Plenty of outdoor seating but limited inside. Jo was simply the best. She knew every flavor and was extremely helpful. Simply just as sweet as the ice cream!They have a variety of flavors, some ices and soft serve. Our picky kids ate their entire ice creams (that never happens) and the adults enjoyed the creamy flavors like chocolate chip brownie, cannoli, banana and maple walnut.We will absolutely be returning to this gem of a place!!The only negative honestly is the seating could be improved on the inside. For the ice cream lovers who love to eat it on a cold rainy day. Lol

I absolutely love this ice cream shop. The employees are friendly and professional. The ice cream is top notched and doesnt make your stomach bubble gurgle and gas up like the other local spots. I speak so highly of the place many of my friends go here as well. They have a vast array of flavors and vegan options as well.

This is a second year we had an ice cream cake done for our baby. Both cakes were amazing. This year they blew us away with the design. Our two year old loves train. We brought a small train candle holder to be used on top of the cake. We talked to the owner and he read our mind. He suggested to draw train track. And he did so much more. The cake was so beautiful! And tasty too. We highly recommend Magic Fountain Union Creamery.

Love their ice cream. Recently celebrated my partners birthday and they made a beautiful, delicious hard ice-cream cake for us. Even though there was only 4 of us because of this pandemic, I had no problem finishing this cake off! The fudge in the middle was the best part, too. And everyone that works there is very kind and friendly. I feel much better giving my money to a small business VS some corporation. Plus the quality was over the top. Thank you guys, for staying open and helping us celebrate!

My husband and I agree this may be the best homemade hard Ice cream weve had in our lives. Also, curbside, masked, delivery to our car. I had a hot fudge sundae with maple walnut and blackberry ice cream and macerated black cherries that were to die for. Husband had chocolate chocolate chip hot fudge sundae with mini peanut butter cups. Yummy!

My wife and I stopped in for a couple of cones pretty late. Staff was very friendly and didnt mind letting me try a few flavors before I settled on one. Selection of flavors was robust and I liked the choices of flavored waffle cones. Both ice cream and cone were excellent. Very recommended.

I just moved to union and I wanted to support my local neighborhood businesses. We found this ice cream place went here about twice and it was good we wanted to make it a normal weekend thing, but today me and my family came here ordering our ice cream it was 7 of us we had a big order, as we were ordering a group a white people came in and the person who was taking our order I guess her name was “ KAREN “ said “ we had to move to the other line “ and we told her “ we didn’t finish ordering” her reply was “ that’s fine but you have to STILL move out the way so I can take other people’s order“ After she was done taking the people who walk in AFTER US order and giving them there ice cream then she came back to me and my family. We thank her for the ice cream, she just give it to us and walk away. This is the last time me and my family would ever come here. You should teach your employees everyone money is the same color even though we wasn’t the same color as the other customers.Below is a picture from your page of the woman that was very rude. KAREN

First time visiting with my husband for an ice cream night. We aren’t familiar with this place but that truly did not matter the staff made the experience a very enjoyable one. They were patient as we sampled to get the right taste of what we liked and beyond patient in creating our order. We very much pleased and looking forward to visiting when they reopen for the season next year.

Visited with a large party of 7 to get icecream today and the manager was very rude. She would take others orders before completing our parties order. Some customers were friends of there’s cane after us and they got their order before. Idk if it was a racial issue towards us but she seemed to be the manager and wanted us to stand to the side of the store meanwhile we had not even completed our order. Just very upsetting. I have been before but this was the first time I experienced this. Will not return. Left a bad taste in my mouth for me and my family. I hope they can learn to be more inclusive and friendlier.

I absolutely enjoyed their ice cream. The menu is huge with so many options from ice cream to shakes and sundaes. I had the cookie dough and oreo flavor with hot fudge. It was so good. Workers are nice and friendly. It could get busy. We went on a monday night in August and we waited in line for like 10 minutes. Be sure to sit outside when you visit. They have a nice outdoor seating area.

I would have given 5 stars but, there was hair on my spoon...workers should have to wear a net or covering on their hair. Also, I am not happy about seeing a dog inside of an eatery that is not a service pet. Other than that, it is hard to find banana ice cream and if you do it is not always good. The ice cream was delicious and had me wanting to return the next day.

My son and I like to go there after dinner. If is a handy place with parking on the street. There is never a line, so you can order right away.They always have the sugar cones we like. Sometimes they scoop the bottom of the container onto the top of the next. Its not so nice to get that older ice cream, but somebody is going to, I guess.The price is very reasonable for good size scoops.Its clean and peaceful, but the place looks a bit run down. Too bad, because it is such a pleasant treat to get a freshly scooped ice cream cone, then go sit and eat it together. They should make it look more cheerful inside.Go get yourself an ice cream or a gelato or a sundae. You deserve a treat, dont you?

Arrived to this Magic Fountain with high expectations since I was used to Summit’s Magic Fountain pleasent customer service, ice cream well served and their huge lines(which was worth the wait every time). This one falls short each time I would go. They would put less ice cream than before. I feel as though the new hire or proper training has fallen short. Will be sticking to the Magic Fountain in Summit.

Omg!!! I just got home after devouring a delicious cannoli ice cream waffle cone and I couldn’t help but to review. As soon as my boyfriend, Leila (doggy), and myself we walked in we were greeted with a huge smile, we felt right at home. The homemade ice cream was to die for and even my dog got a treat which she enjoyed. It was our first time there and we definitely will be back. Thank you ladies!

Went in on a 100 degree day for some ice cream and a man w. special needs asked politely for some ice or some water and the employees refused to give it to him. How rude and inconsiderate, you should teach your employees to be kind. I ended up treating him to a bottle of water. Be kind and be humane......

This use to be my favorite place to get ice cream at, but since this summer i have been here 2 times with the new ownership both times on a sunday and both times they keep telling me they run out of flavors... ( the old owners always had extra tubs in the back) you think they would also have extras made in the back freezers... I guess if youre going here for a specific flavor make sure you call in advance because you will waste your time coming here like i did all the way from bergen county to be toldthat they keep running out of flavors and dont have it stocked up in the back... very disappointing... time to find another favorite spot...

This may be nit-picking but I wish they would use real Reeses Peanut Butter Cups in their Magic Blend(like the Summit location). They use some bite size no name brand that has almost no peanut butter. Otherwise, everything else is great.2018 update: Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are available! Thank you. The vanilla soft serve seems even creamier than before. Awesome.
