$44.89 plus tax for synthetic oil for my 2015 Camry. I arrived 8AM, service done at 9:15AM. Not as bad as everyone said, the customer service staffs were helpful. You can’t beat the price anywhere in the East Bay.

The auto technicians are great, very friendly. The work was done promptly and they even changed out my valves for me when I asked on a whim. Tires look great!I feel that the service has improved here recently, and Ill be using them in the future.

Worst place I been to, from management to employees very little to no experience. I took my car in for an oil change and the manager was at the register and he said they were out of oil filters for Toyota but he walked me in the store to buy one, then as I was waiting for my car the guy doing the oil change said that they were out of synthetic oil not Oil filters. 7 days later I’m back on a Sunday at 7:29am and they are still not open when supposedly they open at 7:00. Time to move on and look for better service.

I did oil change and the customer service was so great. They installed the engine air filter bought at Walmart for free. They gave periodic updates and car was ready for pickup as promised without any delays. I appreciate the employees in the auto care center for attending all the questions.

This the place if you know that it opens at 8am instead of 6am, like their website says. So I came at 7:45am...was told at 8am that I needed to come back later because I didnt have an appt. Nothing on the website regarding appts.

It seems to me that there is a bit of egotiscal management running this store. The sense of zero customer service has completely gone out the window. As far as those OTHER good reviews- FAKE. For the most part, I wanted to get an oil change, Like the average joe, I gave Wal-mart a go.Prices displayed were fairly reasonable and I thought I should be in andout and on my merry way in no time at all. BUT-For whatever reason, I guess he was the manager, Starting shouting, We are closed! - Uh, what? - So I went inside to see what was going on, Why now?As it turns out, The manager who was there, Told me that they only had on person in that department, and that he was going to let him go home early for that day. So naturally, I asked - Why didnt anyone post any signs that mentioned you were closed? Then I got a snippity nasty response, I dont care, Thats what MY manager told me- WE ARE CLOSED. Fine fine- This was the last time I decided to come tot his store, Too many times has this place left a bad taste in my mouth. Besides, You can goto an Oil changers that is just as reasonable and certainly a place that does appreciate your bussiness.

Id read bad reviews, delays and poor staff attitude about this place but I still took a chance... to unfortunately experience it all myself! Id booked the first time slot of 7AM for tire change, that Id ordered online. I drove about 30 min to reach there and found out that the guy who works tires decided not to show up! Really? Id like to believe that Walmart should be able to have someone pick up the slack, I mean its changing tires, not rocket science at NASA!! No apologies offered, very poor customer service.Pay a little more, save your time and go somewhere else!

I wasnt expecting much for tire change at Walmart. To recap my tire blew up on the way to Fremont. And i have to go back the night after. The manager JR first he said they are busy because of 4th of july weekend, and no one want to work. They have only 2 technician. After i told him i need to go back to LA he squeezed me in withouy hesitation.And after 2 hours the car is done. This review is just to give props to JR for going above and beyond. There should be more people like this guy working at Walmart

The staff were super helpful. They changed my oil and rotated my tires within an hour, while I shopped. Once I was ready so was my car. Very happy with the smooth transition.

The worst experience I have ever had! I pulled in at 6pm knowing that they close at 7pm. They told me they would not sell me a tire or help me at all because they close at 7! Because of them I now have to risk my life by getting back on the road, with a tire that could pop! I can’t believe they refused to sell me a tire! I will tell every one I know about this and if anything happens to me the world will know!

Do not go here until management gets replaced. Id give 0 stars if possible.

They didnt have my tires on spot but was told I could order them . The guys actually changing the tires was more help then the guy behind the register in the tire department..

Best to call before you go to see if they are closing early at all and/or if they have time to service your car. Today when i called they said they had to close at 3 instead of 6 because they were short staffed. Same when i called another location. Call first.

No one answers phone, 30+ minutes on hold to schedule a single tire pickup, a literal 5 second conversation but nope can’t be done

If I could I would give negative stars !! The manager was super rude . Never go here you will waste your whole day just for a simple tire change and then get bad customer service . I would not recommend coming here and the management sucks.

The only thing motivating me to go back here are the prices. The experience Ive had is nothing like going to an actual mechanic. When I get an oil change they dont bother placing their sticker showing when to return it or even reset the miles in the cars maintenance settings. It feels like the technicians have no clue what theyre doing and they dont care. The first time I went here, customer service didnt bother telling me when the car was done even though they said they would. Ultimately, I do hate Walmart so its no surprise I dont like the auto center either.

This is the worst Walmart Auto center I have ever experienced. It disgraces the good Walmart name. Honestly if it was a people of Walmart the other people of Walmart would make fun of it. I came in to make an appointment only to be yelled at that I was crazy! Three people working told me it was impossible to make an appointment and to come back at 6 am if I wanted to be sure I got tires. I came back at 7 am and the waiting room was full and no one had helped them in the hour they were open. Management was happy to come say soothing things but let the customers eat their cashiers alive while they watched. Im so irritated I really might got to the 500 other Walmarts in the area.

They can not balance 20 wheels per the automotive technician at this location.

10/22/20may be is COVID not many customer, the stuff were also new. My card in and out in 65 mins.Under staff, oil change took forever even you come in early morning. The only good about here is cheap, you cant find any place with this price.

Dont know if I could even give one star. Called 5 different times. Each time it took forever (4 minutes is a long time to ring for no answer) to connect with an operator. Once directed to the car center, the phone rang again forever and EACH TIME SOMEONE FINALLY ANSWERED, THEY DISCONNECTED THE CALL! Guess that settles my relationship with Walmart! The other reviews here are horrible. I even have Walmart stock investments. Im selling them. What a waste of time.

Worst experience. I ended up walking out due to a service member helping other customers that were behind me in line. I waited for 45 min without getting a service order written up. Service member Christopher has horrible customer service skills.. Its not worth the savings to go to walmart for their horrible customer service.

Took my car in last week and they messed my tires and alignment up!! Avoid Walmart Auto and their underqualified “technicians”. I will NOT be returning ever!! Avoid this cheap place and take your car somewhere else. The employees are unprofessional especially the guy named Anthony. Rude and doesn’t take responsibility for his error.

Worst service ever! Waited in line for 45 minutesjust to get entertained. Then they tell me i need to purchase my own oil. I was already next in line then the lady told me to step aside and wait for the other cashier and then they skipped me for another 3 people but my car was already next in que outside. These Guys are not professional Mechanics.I used to get my engine oil changed in Walmart, it used to be painful and a 4-5 hour of average wait time.This time yesterday when I dropped my car at 12 noon and went to pick up at 6 in the evening I was told that my oil change is not done and it is in pending, first of all to get to know why it is so, the mechanics were not even ready to listen to answer that simple question and kept on repeating that the work hours are over, all I wanted was an answer to why the oil change was not done, next when shouted at by the cashier they said a nut under the car which opens the oil drain pipe is too tight...are you kidding me, you say you are a auto center and you could not open a nut...I am never going to walmart ever again.FYI I got my oil changed at a local shop today and with no issues, none, it was very smooth and took like 30mins in comparison to the painful ever wait at walmart and such NON Mechanics at the job...

They do a good job. You may have to wait a bit but the money you save makes it worth the wait. Go see a movie while your car gets worked on then the time flies by.

Im not sure why they have such a low rating? Ive been coming here for a couple years and experienced great service, fair deals, and Im usually in and out fast when theyre not too busy.

Went to rotate tires, change headlights and optional oil change. They didnt do anything except oil change because the headlights were not accessible. . These are a bunch of trainees. Stay away unless you want an oilchange only service.. they wastep 2 hours of my afternoon time

At least while you wait you can shop or eat at McDonalds. They stopped alerting you through your phone. But I still like their cheap prices and that you can do other stuff while you wait

I wish I could give ZERO star to this store.Based on my first and last experience I have ever had with this store. I Would never ever recommend this place for any one unless you have extra time to waste Waiting On hold and you wanna deal with the worst staff ever, then this would be the perfect choice for you. I called to find out if they have the tires that Im looking for, they took my call and they put me on hold for 15 mins( thats for the first time only). I tried to call them again, they picked up the phone and hanged up right away. I called again hoping for someone who I can ask or I can talk to, this time I got the Weirdest and the rudest response ever!!!. seemed like an old female picked up my call and I started explaining my frustration, she never let me finish my story asking me if I wanna talk to the manager, so answered he question saying that I would love to SHE PUT ON HOLD AGAIN FOR 30 MINS THIS TIME AND HANGED UP FINALLY. An experiance that I would never even have with Walmart even before I become one of there customers.

Another 5 hours to get my tires put on. Wasnt busy at all. The workers are slow like they dont have any motivation or care about customers time. At one point 3 lines were packed no one greeted the new people pulling up and poof everyone left. I spoke to a supervisor minda she offered 20% off I was having four tires replaced and was a five-hour wait that is nothing to me. The workers walked around slow disappeared for a few minutes come back played with some papers walked around some more. I wouldnt be surprised if they only service 10 cars in a full 8-hour shift. The cheap price is also cheap service if you can afford to go elsewhere I suggest you do and save your time.

They doesnt obey the rule that they have to close at 8pm. I drove 10 miles and arrived at 7pm but they closed already...

They don’t answer the phone and if they do they put you on hold and wait for you to hang up.

Called at 5.30 to ask if they could change oil for the motorhome, they said yes, we work till 7, bring it in. Brought the motorhome at 6, they say they are closing and wont take any more cars. I asked to call the manager, manager said they wont do motorhome because supposedly it wont fit through the door by height when you can see clearly that it would. I always change oil for this motorhome at Walmarts, this is the first time I received such a service.

Bought tires from a different Walmart but came to this one to get my tires retorqued. No fuss and fast service.

I arrived one hour and 10 minutes before they closed the workshop, and they did not want to attend me, and that they only had one car inside, and the people who attended told me that they do not accept cars until one hour before they close, so They set a schedule if they will not respect it.
