I just wish that they had a mart cart, the employees were fantastic and knowledgeable. I had a fantastic shopping experience!

Setup nice and layout pretty good. Employees and management are all friendly and helpful without asking if ya need help every 5 minutes. As is normal for HF, some stuff is great, some not so good. Best part about going in to a store vs ordering online is being able to hold and check out everything before buying. Tons of parking, room for big trucks and trailers.

Harbor Freight is like In N Out; employees are always friendly, enjoy their jobs, work together well, and know what they are doing. I needed to wash my hands when I went into the store, and an employee showed me the restroom, wow! Impressively clean! I made a mental note, I might actually use that one some day! (*I very much dislike any restrooms not cleaned by me*)Over all, a pleasant visit to Harbor Freight, Ukiah this Labor Day Weekend 2021, for the few things needed for a desk project, and a couple other things i didnt know I needed.Thanks guys! 🙂

New and clean. This used to be the local bowling alley, and as such, it actually seems a bit small. Hard to imagine there could have been a bowling alley in this space.As the number of reviews tells you, there is quite a bit of business here. A lot of DIYers here, probably why you also see a Tractor Supply Company in town.There seem to be as much stock as there is in big towns, but Im sure this store serves all of Mendo and surrounding counties.If you dont know the drill, this is it: NOT the best quality. Good enough quality for the home repairman/tinkerer. Also there are different brands and price levels so you know what youre getting. Lots of gear that is good enough for someone who has the skills, knowledge, and inclination to do a big job like swapping out an engine on their car, but dont need to spend top dollar for a one-time job. You still are likely to come out cheaper than having a professional do a job even with buying some essential tools like an engine hoist/crane.Staff was friendly but I didnt get that deep into talking with them to know if they are well versed in what kinds of jobs you might actually do with the tools. I do notice there are definitely more items in stock for farms, ranches, or home-farmers than are carried in big city Harbor Freight stores, but also they have fewer gadgets and electronic toys than you see in more metropolitan Harbor Freight stores.As far as power tools go, you can find plenty of videos on youtube to help you decide if a certain tool is worth buying.

Ok dont get me started with this place. Im afraid to go in. I will buy something and thats no joke. What can I say, I love tools and I really dont miss the bowling alley at all. With the exception of my wife and cat and other family members of course, everything I love is right in that building lol

Its the first time I have been in Harbor Freight and I found what I was looking for easily, with the help of the staff, and I will go back again in the future. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and the store was clean and well stocked. Tools for practically everything!

I have had good experiences and bad and of course the bad outweighs the good. I dealt with a woman named Carmen on 2 separate occasions. The first was in store she was very bothered to be asked questions about merchandise, though very pleasant talking with the woman in line in front of me about her nails she had on. She proceeded to tell me that they were out of my items and to call in the store a different day when the freight truck came because they weren’t sure if any were coming in. I asked if she could order the item for me and was met with no you have to order them yourself online and see if the have an option to ship to your house. Well no thank you harbor freight. If I wanted to order online and have shipped to my house I would have bought from Amazon with free shipping instead of being charged to have them shipped. So I responded saying thank you and left. I then called back a different day and was greeted with hello. No mention of what business you are or anything but having dealt with her recently I knew the voice and continued to ask about a product and if it was in stock. Was answered as if I again interrupted her in the middle of something important and was told no you’ll have to call on Thursday and see if the product comes in on the truck. They have no idea what is shipped on there own trucks. They obviously don’t order their merchandise. Or at least one would assume with the sheer lack of knowledge of what was going to be ordered and the simple statement of “we don’t know what comes in on the truck” so I simply said ok and asked what time was a better time to call and see if product was available. Morning or afternoon? Well some time after 10 so we can have it checked in and see what we got. Again I took the tone of her voice and simply said great thank you have a good day and her reply was yeah ok you too. I have no idea what harbor freight is doing on training people for customer service but this is unacceptable. Never in any of the harbor freights in this state or out of state that I have been to have ever been this terrible with customer service. I sure hope you guys figure it out.

No name brand tools but easy to boost from

They never have any of the items I need in stock, the staff knows very little, the hours posted outside are not honored. Garbage store. Save your money and literally buy ANYWHERE else. It’s the same price or cheaper elsewhere.

Im really glad to see Hatbor Freight come to Ukiah. Its well stocked with almost any tool that you could ever need. Unfortunately for me, they were sold out of the counter sink bits that I was looking for. Oh well maybe next time.

Very organized and vast display of everything I could possible need to complete my projects. No lines, no waiting at checkout.

Called they put it away under my name when i arived it took minutes to pay and pick it up. A great tool cart all i expected and the price was 40 bucks below on a black friday special

It is a good store to get cheaper tools not as cheap as they used to be.

The location is kinda of weird my gps took me right past it .my bad I didnt call first so they didnt have what I needed so I drove to a different harbor freight 60 miles away. This time I called first .
