Stopped in today on my lunch hour to have a “professionally done” ribbon tied on a gift box I had w/me. The young lady behind the counter nearly refused to make eye contact or even look Amy direction. I asked for a linen-type ribbon & she shrugged & said “there may be some in that box.” I had to go look for “that box” myself (which were actually baskets). The employee didn’t offer to help, didn’t offer to simply order ribbon (for which I would’ve happily paid)… I hope they don’t allow their employees to treat everyone so dismissively. I won’t go back. And, I hate to feel that way b/c I’ve used them before & they were great.

Horribly uninterested staff and seemingly hostile when I (oops!) tried to pay cash. Need a box? Hit the Home Depot or Fedex Office.

Employees are warm and welcoming. They have a nice assortment of gift items like soaps, candles, T-shirts, stuffed animals, baby items, mens shaving, funny coooks, greeting cards, and gift wrap. The ladies working were unwrapping some new merchandise that wasnt ready to be put on the shelves yet, so Ill definitely be going back soon. Also, if you want your packages beautifully wrapped, this is the place to go.

The staff was incredible. They went out of their way to help me surprise my wife for Christmas. I highly recommend this location. They had a great selection and were very friendly.

Great store with super unique gifts! Found a great beard kit for my boyfriend this weekend. The best part was that the two girls working that day had it gift wrapped and I was out the door within 15 minutes ! Will definitely be back soon.

My go-to place for cards and gift wrapping and add-ons. They ship too, which makes it a one stop shop. Very handy!

Update 11/8/16: Rachel has notified me that I will be receiving a refund; however, my appreciation of this is tempered by the fact that she a) violated my privacy by posting my mailbox number to a completely public Facebook post, and b) seemed to be encouraging her friends to harass me on that same post. Or at least, she did nothing whatsoever to stop her boyfriend from encouraging her friends to harass me. There are no circumstances in which that is an appropriate course of action for a business owner who has received a valid complaint, and prospective customers deserve to know about this incredibly unprofessional behavior.(Originally posted on Boxworkss Facebook page on 10/15/16)I’ve been a Boxworks customer for many years - my best guess is that I first discovered them in early to mid 2006. I’ve always found them to have unique items and provide beautiful gift-wrapping. That’s why I’m so disappointed with the recent change in ownership. Rachel doesn’t seem to care about the most basic aspect of running a business: keeping the doors open. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve arrived 5-15 minutes before the stated closing time and found the doors locked, the lights off, and Rachel nowhere to be found. Lest you think that I’m one of those horrible people who wants to come in right when a business closes and spend an hour…I assure you, I’m not. I rent a mailbox so I’m rarely inside for more than 30 seconds. Today I arrived at 4:17 - posted closing time 4:30 - and was sadly completely unsurprised to find the place closed. And according to the Olive Garden employee who was sitting outside on his smoke break, she had already been gone for quite some time and missed at least 3 other customers. I’m not asking for special accommodations. I just want Rachel to honor the hours she herself has posted on the door and provide me the service I am paying for. If she wants to leave at 4:15 on a Saturday, I’m totally fine with that. Just don’t set the expectation that you’re going to be there til 4:30 and not do it. It’s really quite simple.
