Its a nice cozy place to sit and have a frozen custard in the evening. I ordered a Sooner Spooner (french vanilla custard, strawberries and banana),it was so good and the regular size is a pretty big portion. You can also create your own custard by choosing toppings from the menu from With a drive through option available you can pick up your order on your way home from a nice dinner. Would visit this place again
It’s always a disappointment when I come here. The staff seem to never know what they are doing. The last time I was overcharged, and the manger resolved the issue the next day which was fine. Today, I decided to order a Driller concrete, and it was so disgusting and did not have any brownies in it. When I do try to inform the staff that something is wrong or missing from my order its always met with an excuse or attitude.Every time I order from here, it’s never good. I’m done trying to hope maybe it’ll be better next time. I don’t plan to come back. I’ll try Andys instead.
Friendly employees, fast service and yummy frozen treats. They also support kids in the community by sponsoring the Tulsa Library Summer Reading Program!! My kids were super excited to use their free custard coupon. Thanks!!! ❤️ 📚 🍦
I have always loved the custard here, but the staff could use some customer service training. I pulled up the other day with kids in the car and after being greeted by the employee on the speaker, I told them we would need a few minutes to decide on our order. About 30 seconds later, he came over the speaker again asking “so what do you want?” There were no cars behind us so should have been no rush. It was irritating to be pushed when trying to get orders from my young children so I opted just to drive off and go somewhere else rather than deal with poor customer service. They missed out on 3 concretes due to not speaking politely and patiently to customers.
Super tasty frozen-custard which is the best Ive had in all of Tulsa. They have several shops around the city. This one in particular has amazing customer service. Their custard wasnt up to standard the day we stop in so they gave us a refund and gave us custard on the house!Highly recommended.
Husband and I were headed back home from a trip and really wanted some good ice cream. After doing some searching, this place was most recommended, so we made the trip over here. Upon arrival they looked fairly busy so I was a little worried.. but after finally making a decision between all the options they have, our custard came out very quick and it is AMAZING. Definitely recommend if you are visiting or passing through. It is also right off the highway so its very convenient.
Grew up on Freckles and will always be a fan. I used to dress up and my dad would take me here on our dates...good memories AND good custard. Wish they would open one in Tulsa Hills. Id weigh about 4x what I do now but at least Id be enjoying myself. ;) Now Im craving a Sweet & Salty. Mmmm!
The owner, Mr Ramsey, has always been super nice to us at Phone Doctors. We love his business! On top of excellent service, the food at Frekles is outstanding.
The ice cream is not bad, but the cones are really soft, so they break after you hold them for a minute. But overall it is a good place.
The original Tulsa custard shop. More affordable than the out of town chains. The driller is always a winner, I always ask for it done with chocolate and I have never been refused. Best custard I have had outside of Wisconsin.
This custard is amazing. I always get the grasshopper. Its so good and creamy.
I have been to Freckles Frozen Custard (51st and Harvard only) at least three/four times a year (not twice a day....) since 2013. Always a good experience. Always ridiculously good custard. Prices are comparable generally. However, frozen custard is always going to be priced higher than say Braums Ice Cream. The product is better than the other custard joints, plus by patronizing Freckles, I support LOCAL business. I will continue to patronize Freckles for all my frozen custard.
Excellent shakes and desserts. But it would be nice if they fixed the huge rut in the drive-thru.
If you want to keep your customers that come regularly you should open and close when you say you do. I come during the day two or three times a week sometimes more. I have been there at 915pm on weekdays and yall have been closed I just called and some guy says your closed it is Friday your add says 10pm. Im going to Andys. Figure it out.
Good ice cream, toppings are mostly good. My one major complaint is that whatever synthetic whipped-cream they use is utterly disgusting and there are a lot of specials they put it on without asking. I dont care how cheap it is, some cost cutting measure simply arent worth it.
The custard was decent, but the toppings were from a can and the attendant seemed to rush us even though no one was behind us
Usually great. Tonight, custard wasnt frozen and cups were half filled with whipped cream. We wont return.
I havent had or thought of frozen custard in nearly 15 years. My wife asked me today if I had ever had it, and immediately I remembered Freckles - thats how good their product is, that its still ingrained in my memory a decade and a half later. If it werent a thousand-mile trip, Id drive back to Tulsa just for this.
Awful without Michael there. Nothing i asked for was given then then they acted irritated with my request. Didnot give me correct change back and kept saying i was wrong until i got my calculator out n showed them. I am here daily if not twice a day and this was the worst experience ever. Plus dip in his mouth. And acted like i should apologize!
Driving to Texas from Kansas and stopped by for some Custard, it was truly amazing, the service could be better, but I assume this is a first job for most of the employees and they are doing the best they can. I will try to stop by on my way back to Kansas.
I love Freckles for frozen custard, they are always friendly, and fast. U like the fact that the do not salt the nuts they use on the Sundays
Zero stars is more appropriate...Pulled into the drive-thru, no one came on the intercom, so I drive to the window, still no one. I honk and finally call them, they pick up the phone like they were sleeping. The car of 4 people behind me leaves and the kid takes 20min to make a small driller.Than he hands me the custard dripping and covered in caramel. No apologies, nothing. The worse service I have EVER received. Andys should and will run them out of business. An experience like that isnt a one time thing, there is an integral problem that starts at the top.
Really good frozen custard, just wish there was some more shade at the place.
Favorite place for over 20 years. Just sad they are closing December 30th 2019!!!😢😢😢😢😢
This is a very good spot for quick quality eats a bit pricey but darn good
Been going here since I was a kid. Love it so much.
Prices arent bad here, there are a lot of different flavors to choose from, the custards are good too
TIL: Freckles has the greatest custard in Tulsa. Dont listen to what anyone else says.
Good Custard. Quick service.Need a cake for a birthday? Theirs are great.
I bought a regular vanilla with raspberries on top, but it was half melted.
It is great Ive had better at cherry berry but 5 stars cause its AMAZING!!!
Best place in Tulsa for frozen custard- and some of the best people serving up smiles!
Come by and see us at our new location! (We moved from 71st&Mingo)Our Custard is awesome from what I am told :-)We also have Non-Fat, Fruit Smoothies, Fluffy Shaved Ice, and WHITE CASTLE Sliders.
Been there 2 times now. 1st visit- Walked in, no attendant up front, my gf had to go knock on the kitchen door to grab someones attention, even then the woman took her sweet time and wasnt professional at all. 2nd visit- doors were locked during opening hours, an attendant finally showed up after 5 mins or so. The guy who was there told us that one of their managers walked out and quit and they have no crewmembers just managers working. The GM is out of town and has been since they moved location, my question is why go out of town when your place of business is running down the dumps? Will not go back to this location when there is actually decently ran locations other places. GM needs to take a business class.
Delicious custard. There is a little bit if a wait, but its worth it!
It was so good we had seconds on the same visit!!!!
Great service and its fast! Better than Andys!
Reasonable prices, good service
Dont try going anywhere from an hour to 45 minutes before closing because they will just decide to close. Got there and was told it was a slow day so we closed early...yet decided to hang out and tell all our customers that we are here...yet closed. Customer Service Epic Fail.
Love this place great service best smoothies
Just a little scary, they didnt have what we wanted specifically but we tried to make do... I would not recommend this place.
The chocolate custard is phenomenal.
Always awesome...Love it
Average ice cream, not really worth the price.
Its easy, affordable, and yummy!
Why do all frozen custard stores give their products goofy names?
It came to my school and my gummy bear had only 1 mini gummy bear
Great frozen treats.
Fun, local and delicious!
They run out of pistachio ice cream and it takes days for them to have more
They had a puppy cup for my dog!
Great custard!
Tasty and fresh!
Sooooo delicious!!!
Good stuff!
Fast, friendly, and delicious!
Super!!!
