I would give Whitty Books six stars if I could. Fantastically curated selection, amazing staff, wonderful book discussion groups for any number of interests. You can not go wrong in one of the best book stores in the city of Tulsa. They are also right next to Circle Cinema, Heirloom Rustic Ales, and Pancho Anaya Bakery. Why not make an afternoon of it?

Very chill atmosphere with a wide range of genres. Hope to return again with more time to spend for browsing. Really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place.

Such a lovely little book store with the friendliest owner. If she doesnt have what youre looking for, she will order it for you. The book clubs hosted here (well, on Zoom currently) are great!

What a fun book store! Looks like they have a really great selection. If I had to put my finger on the store’s taste it would be fantasy and fiction. They have kids books as well! If you’re in the Kendall Whittier District definitely stop in and say hey, ya never know what treasure you’ll find.

Cute comfy store, with nice and friendly workers.We have come here multiple times, and always had a good experience. They don’t have a lot of young kids books, but they are kid friendly. They even have an old car for the kiddos to ride around the store, and some fun non-book things.There are sofas to relax, vinyls to look at, and they even have a disk player so you can make sure the vinyls are in good condition before you buy them.

I absolutely loved my time at Whitty Books. The owner was so welcoming and warm. Great conversation and location and selection of new and used books!

Great selection, great programming, responsible safety practices, give back to their community. But probably my favorite part of Whitty is the people, they know me, they know the neighborhood, theyll do special orders like my personal bookseller. Everything you could want in a bookstore!

I visited to see the bands Reliquario and Aluna Crypt play. While in between sets, I took the opportunity to browse the small but carefully curated collection: a mix of mainstream titles and indie releases. I made a small purchase and I plan to return to this gem of a bookstore!

Really fun local bookstore in an up-and-coming part of town. The staff is always on hand to answer questions and make recommendations. There is a good selection of local authors. They are very into being part of the community, which I like a lot. They might not have every book youre looking for, but I bet youll at least find something interesting.

I LOVE this bookstore! It’s on of my favorite indie bookstores in tulsa. You have to go & look at their selection. Plus the store is so cheerful & they have the CUTEST shop dog!

Ballistic whitty

We came in for the Zine Fair today. This is a great independent bookstore. They have books that are wildly popular as well as books that are obscure. There are offering from local artists. The environment it welcoming and Bean is an awesome shop dog. We enjoyed our afternoon visit immensely. Im glad Whitty Books came to Kendall Whittier.

This is now one of my favorite bookstores in town. The staff are so nice and friendly. You can tell they have a passion for reading. The selection is great and you’re going to be able to find titles you cannot traditionally find in a big box store.

Another great new business in Whittier Square! Friendly owners, nice selection of new books, including lots of childrens and young adult . Monthly book club, live music and poetry events, book singings, etc.

Nice atmosphere and almost every book I picked up was one that I would happily read.

Not a large volume of books, but a wide variety and great titles. Staff are friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the bookmarks at the counter.
