I absolutely love this small bookstore. Tho it doesnt carry all the top new releases that the larger stores do, it brings light to a lot of other fantastic authors. I always find a new author to try out while I am here and even if they dont have a book you are looking for, they are always so helpful and happy to order it for you. A definite must stop when in downtown Tulsa.

Good local bookstore. Very organized and presentation of genres. Had corners for sitting and reading and a room in the back for possible book club etc. meeting. Nice staff and it’s always nice to wander a bookstore to find a great book. I did appreciate that they had “display only” copies for some interactive kids books so you could look though them easily.

Great store, great experience. I stopped in looking for a specific book which they were out of. Not only did they order the book I was looking for and call me when it came in, but they also recommended a few other books to me that they thought I would be interested in based on the subject matter of the book I ordered.

First, no one acknowledged me when I walked into the store, was in the store or walked out of the store. I watched as EVERY other person was greeted. The store is that small & quaint. The store is very clean and organized. Id prefer to buy local and was prepared to do just that after I was greeted, never happened. Their childrens section has very great books. I saw a few I needed to complete sets for my classroom. I didnt find much for my bookshelves at home though. One star for cleanliness & organization. The second for the childrens section. Such a lovely little book store. It has a bit of everything including childrens and baby books. Its a small selection on every section they have. They have a sitting area, and little coffee shop. I like it a lot, the vibe. It seems peaceful and like you are in a little treasure hunt. My only concern is, that I noticed, while they have some great books, lets say you are looking for a trilogy or a book series but they may only have one or two on the book series. Also some of the books seem a bit more expensive compared to other locations. But other than that its a nice place to visit. Quite charming

The workers in this book store yelled at a homeless man to leave the store and then talked about how dirty he was after he left. No store should be rude/mean to homeless men and ESPECIALLY not a bookstore who says they support and understand equity. It was disappointing to witness and not a place I will ever be supporting again.

A unique and aesthetically pleasing place to buy books and enjoy a cup of coffee. The servoce here is excellent. Called to see if they had any books by Joy Harjo and not only did they, but they set it aside for me to pick up. Not the biggest deal, but that kind of customer service is what often lacks these days. I look forward to buying more books here in the future. Saw a funny cooking book and humorous book about manners. Almost threw down for one or both but exercised some self-control for next time. And there will be a next time! Thank you, Magic City Books, for being so magical!

Has a small Cafe and a curated selection of books. They are not a giant bookstore, so the selection isnt enormous, but they are building a great community around reading in Tulsa. We came for a childrens author event, and enjoyed the book reading. This probably wont be a regular stop for me because I live in south Tulsa, but taking my kids to meet the person who wrote and illustrated a book gets them excited about books. They are filling a great niche downtown.

Came here for the first time on a date with hubs. Sat & read the end of a book I randomly saw on a shelf, which might not sound like a great time, but it was exceedingly nice. Bought a book that I had been wanting. The area is a hip & happening area. Love that they serve fair fellow coffee & wines. Just a great little place to spend some time & pick up a book. They have a number of book clubs that meet there and a membership club where you get a percentage off books & access to some events in the book store.

Great independent book store with an excellent selection of fiction & memoir, lovingly displayed; mishmash selection of politics and current events, not well displayed at all.
