So far have had excellent customer service from both Cornelius and Dominick. Even when there was an issue it was handled with care and professionalism. My bank account is a bit light after each journey, but money well spent. Each Sams location I found to have a large display and options at various prices to meet you needs and budget. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This particular location may be a bit off the beaten path, you will not regret the trip.
Dont pay for the delivery and assembly. They dont assemble couches/sofas??!! Which, they dont tell you until they drop it off. I have assembled the couch, but now I have the box and packing material to get rid of. Robert will tell you that they will deliver everything, assemble everything, and take away the packaging. Hes lying. Hes just trying to make a sale.
So this is not so much a review of the store or its employees, but the delivery guys. They were, hands-down, the best large item delivery guys I have ever encountered. They had to navigate some tricky angles but didnt scratch the large couch or the walls or the door. They also made it fun for my daughter and got her in helping with the set up. Its rare that a delivery person gets her in the window yelling BYE BYE! COME SOON! Best part of her day means its the best part of mine.If theres a supervisor or someone reading this, seriously, these guys were awesome.
Missy is great! She went above and beyond to help my family and I pick the best furniture. She is communicates all details from A to Z. She made our experience at Sam Levitz great. We will go back to her for any furniture needs.

Unbelievable! I went to a furniture store because I wanted to have the furniture delivered to my house and not in a box like what you get from Amazon. No one told me that they were just going to deliver my sofa by FedEx. Absolutely horrible and then when I called they were like well you can call the store and see if they will refund your delivery fee. Just know whatever you get from the store is going to be in a box so you might as well buy it from Amazon or Wayfare or any other online store where you have a much better selection.
I waited on two separate delivery days for the ottoman part of my living room furniture to be delivered. They “lost it”, “had to go back to the warehouse to pick it up” and it goes on and on. They didn’t call me once to tell me the delivery wasn’t actually coming. They never even had it. I went into the store and spoke to a sales manager. She suggested I need to speak to the man who is her supervisor and that he “would for sure call me tomorrow.” That occurred 2 weeks ago and Im still waiting…… I just canceled my whole order. The same problems are still happening since I used this company 8 years ago!! Beware- many false promises. It’s too bad because I really liked the couch.
Brooklyn was great! Her customer service is A+++!! She took the time to explain the differences between the various types of bedding I was looking at for my specific needs. She is fantastic!!
I bought a dining set and I was promised to get the chairs delivered by a certain date. They are past due and I still dont know when will I receive them. Your customer service team is the least helpful customer service team I have ever had to deal with. All they do is transfer the calls to Delivery or Sales and let them figure it out. Funny enough, they sent me the survey request and I dont know if it was because of the rating, but I got an error message saying I couldnt submit it. Prices are reasonable but be prepared for delays and people not getting back at you when promised
The salesperson Trudi was pretty good with me as well as management. She assisted me with sales. The reason for three stars shipping was kind of lagging. I will end up ordering a different couch from the couch I wanted because the couch I wanted would take two weeks longer to get and it will end up being two weeks longer to get my couch that I ordered instead of the one I wanted. Not to mention half of my order did not arrive on the first shipment and nobody informed me that it was not going to be in the same shipment. Other than that Im happy with my furniture and the price that I paid for it.
Juan Rivera was a great help! I was upset with how long my dresser was taking to be shipped out but Juan was very helpful and kind. He was able to help me find a dresser in stock right there that I even liked more than my original choosing. Great experience. Ask for Juan to help you! Hes a hard working employee and cares about helping his customers!
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Called customer service to check on my order and for three different answers. I then went down to store to check and the customer service agent was extremely rude! I will never shop here again! Canceled my order! Honestly their furniture isn’t built very well anyway. Thank God for warranty and extended warranty or I would have no furniture at all!
If I could give zero stars I would! Nothing but lies and thieves. Lied that a dining room table was available then 2 months later after we reached out again was told it was discontinued without telling us and after taking over 2,000 dollars from us! Would go lower if I could. Purchased a sectional in late March. Got all but the middle wedge piece 3 weeks later and now we are told we won’t have the middle wedge piece until November… hard pass. Come get your sofa and give me a FULL refund

Horrible service . They tried delivering a bed set without the railing? If that was the case than why even deliver only certain parts just to be told that the railing won’t be in until November . How unorganized. The least they can do is double check the orders before they send it out for delivery.
Went in the Pantano store yesterday, picked out a sofa, recliner and 2 chairs. Waited over an hour to get the order processed only to be told the computer system was down and they couldnt process the order so I could pay for it.I was told by Dom the salesperson he would text me just as soon as he could process the order.He sent me a text so I could communicate with him. I have not heard from him or anyone else despite sending several texts and calling the store. I guess they dont want to sell the furniture. Bad service! From reading the reviews Sam Levitz only responds to positive feedback. I dont expect them to get back to me.
ABSOLUTELY NEVER, NEVER SHOP HERE!!!! This is by far the worst shopping experience Ive ever had in my life. I bought a couch and loveseat. When they delivered them they damaged both, as well as the wall of my house. They never delivered the correct power cord for the loveseat. It has been over a month of me having to stay home waiting for them to show up for appointments. Over a month of having damaged furniture that doesnt even work. Ultimately, they would make no concessions or accommodate me in any way. They damaged my furniture and my house and expected me to always be available when they were ready. I lost work and pay having to be home to meet them. Now, as the final insult, I have to wait at home yet again for them to come pick up this damaged Furniture before I can get a refund and buy something from somewhere else. Perhaps the next company will know what customer service actually is.

I bought living room furniture 2.5 months ago. It was scheduled for delivery as three different orders. The couch and chairs came a couple weeks later and I am very happy with them. The lamps came a couple weeks after, and I will like them when i can get them off the floor and use them. The tables still have not been delivered in spite of multiple messages pushing the date out by a week or two. Expected delivery was first week of April, then mid April, then mid to late April. Today is April 30, and still no word on when they will be delivered. I am sorry I shopped at Levitz and should have gone to estate sales where I could find good quality and take things home.

Worst experience ever. I am getting divorced and brought my two little girls into store to buy new furniture for new place. I told the salesman that i could only buy things that will be delivered on time. The kids picked out items, so they could feel better about the move. Some items were not available, so i didnt I didnt purchase those. The day before delivery I decided to call because I hadnt heard from them. The delivery people told me that the delivery was cancelled due to so many of my things not being in Tucson and on backorder??? I was irate. I somehow got hold of the owner(Sam himself)and got everything situated?? Well here it is two months since I purchased the items and I am still waiting for the last chair. I have had a total of three deliveries so far. I have had to take three days off, I am an RN, and have had to waste several hours both waiting for the deliveries and the time on the phone trying to get my stuff .I have been told that I would receive call backs from numerous people and not once have they kept their word. I plan on telling everyone about what a horrible time I have had and will never shop at this place again.
Missy was the best!! Oh my Gawd she was so nice! She paid attention to our every need in detail. As to what we were looking for when it came to a living room set. She helped us out with our two boys while we browsed around. She made me laugh a lot. But also made us reflect and think about our choice in furniture. I definitely liked that so much about her. Trudy is personable and helpful. She leveraged her resources and was able to arrange delivery of a coffee table to arrive on the same day (within 48 hours) as our recliner - which we purchased and had been waiting for delivery since October, 2020 (3 months...). We appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile to make the delivery happen, instead of the customary negative response that one might expect. She also followed up with us via text, as she said she would. Highly satisfied experience.

Very nice selection. Prices were reasonable. Staff there to help but did not overwhelm me. 2 young men who delivered recliner were polite and well mannered. So happy they put it together and took away all boxing.

Shoutout to Sergio for the great customer service. He was very helpful. He understood when we needed help and didn’t follow us around the store. He came by when we needed his help yet gave us the freedom to shop without the pressure. He was educated and friendly. It was our quickest check out process too.Now about the store. They’ve been making a lot of improvements. We’ve furnished almost our whole house from here so we’ve had our ups and down. They had everything we wanted in stock for once. The showroom is also staged beautifully. The Ashley furniture side is so beautiful. Styles for everyone. The checkout and delivery process is ok. The prices are pretty high when there isn’t a holiday sale. However we use their credit card which is awesomeDelivery is a train wreck : we were told delivery would be between 12-4 from an automated message a few days prior then we get a call at 1030am saying they are 15 mins away...another time our window was 1-5pm.... they came at 7pm... irritating

Worst customer service ever next to Ashley and I didnt think that was possible. Inexperienced sales staff only compounds their circular logic and game playing from a corporate standpoint. Too many better options deserving your hard-earned money

Terrible place to buy furniture. No communication between the departments. They tell you 2 weeks and it takes 2 months to get your merchandise. When you try to talk to them they tell you how its going to be. We spent over 2500.00 in the store on one visit and there was something else I was going to get that was over 1500.00 but after this experience I will NEVER buy from them again. and they lost another sale.
We went in into Ashleys and both, Ashleys and Sam levitz are right next to each other, we made our purchase from Ashleys and Jeff, oursalesman was very courteous, polite and respectful and helped us find what we needed because what we had originally ordered from Ashleys in the Sahuarita area, since April we went there to choose furniture and still had not received anything, so we decided to go here and simply cancel that order and choose something else for our childrens bedroom sets, we found what we needed and this time our furniture will be here in July. Jeff let us know as a courtesy that the previous furniture we were waiting on, we were the 4th ones in line, which would have have been been nice to know since the beginning, but instead we began receiving texts and the date started to push back further and further until it reached September and thats where we drew the line. But some salespeople just to make a sale will not disclose that information 🤔🙄.... in the beginning, like saying, this furniture is in back order and you would be 4th in line, do you still want this item.. and let the customer decide there what to do, instead of pushing dates,further and future away. But were happy with our purchase today and the help we got from Jeff!!
This place is horrible I’ve spoken to a lady saying our ottoman and sectional were going to arrive the 28th at the latest the 31st of May and it’s the 28th and we haven’t received an update on our furniture so my husband calls and speaks to another lady to whom tells him our furniture isn’t coming until late July. As soon as I herd that I took the phone and asked to speak to the store manager to which he said our sectional won’t be here until early June and our ottoman late July . He was in fact rude and did nothing to reassure us just to hope for the best basically. Sam Lev isn’t in the business of selling furniture but to lie to its customers. I honestly have to say this was the worst experience I’ve had with them and we will no longer be taking our business there nor will we refer anyone. Save your time and energy and buy else where because once you purchase something from them they could care less what happens after that.
Have already purchased king bedroom set plus mattress, my childs mattress plus dresser and mirror plus a really nice desk (400) also an ottoman! Never had an issue with associates yesterday however had such a terrible experience upon dealing with Jacob definitely no help really had audacity to tell me SHIPPING/DELIVERY ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WHEN IT COMES TO SAM LEVITZ today I would have to pay 50 to get it shipped/delivered to my house on top of the 500 for purchasing it even when I mentioned how online everything is free as well then even yelled across the floor that he couldnt help me to an older gentleman who said he was busy so Jacob graciously proceeded to the corner of store by exit to talk to a different associate which after about 10 minutes looking around not being helped just decided to take my money elsewhere hope it helps!!!! NOBODY GOES TO A STORE TO BE DISRESPECTED!!

I ordered a sectional there it was set to be delivered a week later. when it arrived it was damaged. I was told I would receive a call within a half hour but here it is 3 days later and I havent heard a thing. I called customer service never got through to anyone left a message and a call back number and still havent heard anything. We had gotten rid of our couch in preparation for having the new sectional brought now here we are without any furniture and have no idea when Sam levitz is going to deliver us a new one. All in all the experience has been pretty awful. UPDATE:. I was able to speak with a store manager. He, very shortly, said that he couldnt help at all.
I would give them zero stars if I could! I’ll try to condense this as much as possible. We ordered a very large sectional in February 2020. Upon delivery it was dropped on our hardwood floors, leaving two quarter sized punctures and breaking the legs of the couch in half. We asked if we got a receipt or had to sign anything regarding the damage and were told we’d receive an emailed receipt and there was nothing to sign. A few hours later we get a receipt with a forged signature stating there was no damage and we were happy with delivery. I immediately emailed and called the store. Eventually we were offered $100 for the damage and told they’d talk to their delivery people and apologized for the forgery. We were told if we didn’t accept the $100, we’d have to go through their insurance. We chose insurance because $100 would not fix anything. Covid happened. We were understanding. Then we stopped getting responses to our calls and emails. After six months I began calling daily and finally got the information and claim number with their insurance company. Now it has been eight months. Today I was told the claim was denied because they were never able to get a response to talk to anyone from Sam Levitz. They are crooks. Don’t buy from them. I will continue to call and won’t let them forget about me. This is wrong.
I normally dont leave any reviews but its the second time I experience horrible customer service either with the sales person at the store or over the phone. First time it was an order for my mother the sales person was not helping at all he was just sitting at the bedroom we were looking at and then he said we can look online for other styles, we received the order incomplete and they didnt installAnything and we pay for that . Now my second order the price was wrong and for the wrong living room style i told the sales person and she just said that was correct i make her check because it was not the same style then she found tje correct one, i ended up getting the living room and it has been 1 month and no follow up so i decided to call i can just say HORRIBLE service over the phone either they just hung up never answer or no call backs. I ended up going to the store and still about one more week to get my living room.. and its not about the time that its taking its about customer service experience...
Trudy’s customer service skills were great. We were looking for a special recliner. She showed us samples that were spread out around the whole store and we finally found what we liked. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

It seems that Sam Levitz is making poor service a habit. This is the second time I have purchased an item and told it was in stock, only for me to drive 30 minutes to prince Rd and wait another 30 and find out it was not in stock. I even told the sales guy, I didnt want to make another purchase that I would have to wait four months for. Very disappointed!
Went to buy a bed for my daughter and wasnt quite sure of my decision. I was helped by Chris from the sale staff and It was a very pleasant experience!! She was quite knowledgeable and very patient and helped me with my decision.would recommended to anyone else

I spent a few thousand dollars on a complete solid wood bedroom set. I purchased the warranty and insurance with the set to cover scratches, watermarks and other accidental damage. I have no small children and I’m very rarely home. I had had the furniture not even a year yet and the footboard started to come loose and fall apart. The insurance covered that. I noticed every couple of months the wood would scratch very easily even though I use the care kit that they provided with the furniture. Mind you I have no animals and no small children. The knobs on the dresser break very easily the quality of the furniture is not very good at all it does not last as long is solid wood furniture typically should. So I called in to report the scratches and I was asked to send in pictures via email. When I called to do a follow up after the email was sent I kept being routed to different departments. After a few months more items would accumulate. Now I’m being told that it is more than one item being reported so it is considered accumulation and now is not covered under warranty. This was a huge waste of money
I was looking for a couch and this place has a great selection at varying prices. There really is something for everyone. The sales associate who helped me was fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase. I recommend at least checking it out!!
The delivery people for this company are the worse Ive gotten 3 different dates for my kids bunk bed! But if Saturday comes and its not here then yall can deliver my money back to my card!!!!
No pushy sales people, greeted asked if I needed help and left to look on my own. Plenty of help around if I had any questions, otherwise I was free to look around unbothered. I really appreciate that. After a second trip, on the second day, I was asked if I had any questions and I did and a sale was made. Nice and simple. Trudy was pleasant, knowledgable and available to help me!!

Noticed a Sam Levitz delivery van speeding on a residential street, then down Pantano. No excuse as this is careless and dangerous way to operate a large and heavy vehicle!
Purchased several new sets of furniture at the Sam Levitz East Tucson store today, and my experience was awesome!!! My daughter and I walked with Ms. Harley and she was the absolute best! She had some great suggestions along the way and was able to convince me to purchase an upgraded bedroom set from what I had researched online. If you want someone with incredible knowledge of all of the products at Sam Levitz, ask for Harley!!! 👍
Ive only shopped here 2x and both times ive had issues with my order. Which wouldnt be a big deal except that customer service is astrocious and trying to get the issues resolved has been a nightmare both times. Most recently my sales rep placed my order incorrectly and then fixed the issues but never swapped my delivery date even tho he swore he had. I called in for resolution was told a store manager would call me back its been 3 days ive not been contacted and everytime i call im placed on hold upwards of 30 minutes and hung up on before i speak to anyone. The deals are NOT worth the hassle
You cant walk in the store 5ft. Without being followed by a sales associate. While i get thats their income, some people prefer to shop alone
Sales Associate Harley Recklau was great to work with. We needed to find furniture for our daughters college rental in Yuma. Harley checked inventory multiple times for us as we were trying to find good furniture at a good price and something that would fit in our tight schedule to get our daughter back to school. We appreciated her can do attitude and she did not quite. Great customer service skills. Once again it was a pleasure doing business with Harley and the Ashley / Sam Levitz staff . We have been customers for many years and will continue to come back.
We have been shopping at levitz for years but our last purchase was a leather material couch recliner with the salesman selling warranty. After 2 yrs the Seams started to wear apart. Filed claim agent said it should be covered waited for a response for 4 days.. I called for a status and a agent stated he was denying my claim. I asked is it normal for you to sell couches that start to fall apart like that he said no but they still were not covering it. This has been the worst experience after the salesman sold us a warranty that we cant use along with a sofa of poor quality and bad service to followup. After being long time customers I cant believe this is how we would be treated.
If no stars was an option, best believe that’s what I would have chosen. Based of the below reviews, they don’t even deserve to be at the rating they’re at.

Probably one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in customer service. I went into the store and was ignored by 3 different salesmen so I left. I ended up looking online and they had a good deal on a mattress and box spring so I ordered those. After a few weeks of waiting and hearing nothing, and also getting no updates on my order online, I called. The person who answered said my mattress was in but the box spring wouldnt be in until later that week and the head board and foot board wouldnt be ready for almost a month. She said they would make a note that I would like the mattress and box spring immediately and they would deliver the rest when it came in. So I waited, again nothing for over 2 weeks. I called again, was transferred and hung up on multiple times. I finally did get a call back from someone who said the box spring was in but the mattress was not (the opposite of what the previous person told me). This place is the most mixed up business I have ever encountered, no one gives you the correct information or reaches out to you even after you spend a lot of money for something you dont seem to get for almost 2 months. I will not be back.

My salesperson Missy was SPECTACULAR. I will say the phone system for customer service is atrocious. I was in hold for at least 15 minutes each call and was transfered to non-working voicemail systems in multiple occasions.
We spent 2.1k on a couch, 2 chairs, a lamp, and some coffee tables. Sales guy was nice, delivery guys were nice but our lamp came destroyed. This is incredibly disappointing because now the burden of responsibility lies on me to make it right. Whats frustrating is that I paid Sam Levitz for a new, functional product and now Ill have to jump hoops with customer service just to get what I already paid for.
Had to wait a whole month for the mattress. When I called and left a message to be called back, the agents would call and then immediately hang up to make the system think they called but they really didn’t.Very dissatisfied. Even if Texas was not having problems getting mattresses here I would still be dissatisfied.
I came in to Sam Levitz to buy a second piece the furniture from them. I first was a beautiful bed that was $700. Everything went OK with that because they have it in stock. So then I go back not too long after to buy a couch for a place that I just moved into At the 1st of August. I figured they wouldn’t have the couch in stock but I went ahead with the purchase anyway because they told me it would be here by the end of August or the beginning of September. So I figured why no just be patient and wait for it. August comes and it goes and at the beginning of September I still haven’t heard from anybody at Sam Levitz, so I have to call to find out where the couch is. They tell me that the couch is on his way and it should be here by the middle of September. Another couple weeks go by and I still don’t hear anything so I have to call again. A little bit more information I paid $1600 for this couch. I get a hold of somebody at the front office and she tells me that the sales reps haven’t been doing their job by calling people to let them know where their furniture is at. She says she will handle it for now on and help me with anything that I need. So I regained a little bit of faith in the company. But the couch is still not there. I called today to find out where the couch is at and they said that two of the 3 pieces are here and they are waiting on the chase which supposedly won’t be here until mid October. So I said OK well let me go ahead and have the two pieces delivered to my place so that way I can at least have a living room that I have been paying for but not able to use. So they set up the delivery for October 4 which is a week away when I have been waiting just about two months for this couch. So now I have to go down to their location on prince and I 10 to pick it up myself even though I paid for delivery. So if you want to spend your hard earned money at place that won’t call you, that won’t try to make things right by delivering parts of the furniture right away, making you wait longer and then telling me that they will give me a discount on future purchases when I don’t want to ever give them my money again. Than this place is for you.
Ive never had a negative experience whilst shopping here. Everyone has been so nice and informative and patient with all of our questions. The only problem that I have is their delivery staff. The staff that delivers the furniture have been rude and not helpful. Other than that, lovely experience.
Travis was very helpful and patient with us. He didnt pressure us or try to upsell something we wouldnt like. We had a general idea what we wanted and he helped bring it to life. We got exactly what we wanted!
Worst customer service EVER. Trudy was our agent. She lied every time she opened her mouth!DONT use her as your agent, no matter what!
I came to look for a sofa and as normal I get a lot of sales people asking to help. I’m sorry, but I just wanted to look and not talk to anyone. My wife and I had spent 45 minutes or an hour already and were sitting on a sofa that I liked and a sales person named Stacy approaches us and asked if we we comfortable and asked if we had questions. I’ve got to say but the way she asked or her body language made me feel very comfortable in talking with her and within five minutes I made my decision to buy that sofa. I don’t like pushy sales people and she was not pushy at all. I appreciate the respect and the space that she gave us to make my decision. Stacy will be my sales person for everything I buy at Sam Levitz.
This place is horrible! I paid cash for my furniture only to be told afterwards that it wasnt available but would be in within 3 weeks. 5 weeks later, Im still waiting. I called the store, was placed on hold for 34 minutes only to be told my sales associate was off today and hell call me back.

Everything about my shopping experience here was awful! Misleading delivery times, challenges on changing orders when I discovered two months later my order was several months back ordered, and now they are giving me the run around on refunding me. Will never shop here again.
When I walked to the sam levitz side of mattresses,Cole greeted me right away and found someone to help me quickly, I felt he was very professional and efficient with finding someone to help me. Michael O and Cole were the sales people who helped me and I appreciate them very much for helping me find an affordable mattresse.
Eduardo was great and helped us find exactly what we wanted.I was disappointed we couldnt locate another item I wanted. Its a big store. The computer showed the item was on the floor, but not where. They need better mapping.Overall a good experience.

Horrible customer service. No one returns phone calls. You have to be calling them several times and be transferred to several departments before you get an answer or a resolution.

Do not purchase service warranty, its a scam. We were told the warranty covered pet stains, when we requested service Sam Levitz and their warranty CO CBS sent a tech..I indicated to tech that Ive been trying to get a hold of customer service to schedule a cleaning or replacement of my furniture (love seat and couch) for months. I was told my claim was denied due to accumulation that I didnt try to clean the stains when we were specifically told not to do it (cleaning) ourselves. Sam Levitz should not be offering this service for a fee to their customers if theyre not going to honor the services. Sam Levitz and CBS Insurance CO will do and say anything to NOT to follow through with service..BEWARE SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY.
Ive got one word for you...RUN!Run to La-Z-Boy, run to Copenhagen! But dont go to Sam Levitz. They dont care about you, they dont care about the quality of their merchandise. All they care about is getting your money out of your wallet in any devious way they can. Run...run before they take one penny of your hard earned money!!
The manager was very rude and made us leave over masks even though we have been vaccinated. The place was dirty and unkempt as well!
Travis M. went above and beyond to assist us. He demod every sofa bed in the store to help us find just what we needed and accommodated our every request. Customer Service at its best!
