Very professional and smart to diagnose the issue with my truck rear end clunck sound when stopping and Accelerate. I have took my truck to several shops to figure the problem out I even took it to Larry H Miller service department and nobody found the problem. When I called Tucson Differential and explained the symptoms of the truck they told they know what the issue was and that they can fix it that same day and no charge. I will definitely return for future work on my truck. Very Honest and professional work. Highly recommend anyone that needs work to go to Tucson Differential.

Bill is a genuinely honest old-school mechanic who won’t BS you on price or timeline. He did a full breakdown on my front axel of my F350 and when he couldn’t deduce the origin of the squeaking sound he refused to take any money for it, even though it turns out that it seems just by him reassembling it the squeak has mostly gone away! Solid guy, would definitely bring my rig in again for future work.

Excellent customer service! I cant say enough good things about Tucson Differential. My husband and I were on our way to Tucson from Idaho to get out of the cold for a week. We were pulling an enclosed trailer with our motorcycle. The differential on our 2017 Ford F150 started making noise just outside of Phoenix and was bad by time we got to Tucson. None of the dealerships could get us in for weeks but Bill worked with us and was able to get us into his very busy schedule. Our trip was extended for a week while we waited our turn, but Bill put up with our frequent calls and took care of the repairs with a smile and got us on the road back home. Thank you Bill for making room for us in your work schedule and for making what could have been a vacation nightmare just a minor bump in the road. Brought my 2016 Chevy Colorado in for differential work kinda late in the day got it back the next day and the noise was gone thanks Bill!

I had Tucson Differential install an Eaton Truetrac in my pickup back in July 2020. In November 2020, a bolt broke in the axle shaft bearing pillow block cap. This destroyed the new differential, the ring gear, and the pinion. Tucson Differential inspected it and determined what the problem was, and then fixed it with no cost to me. I highly recommend Tucson Differential; it is rare these days to find an honest company.

Bill the owner is awesome. He did a rear end for a friend of mine and did an awesome job and even helped him out with letting him make payments. Ill definitely take my Beast there when I get my ring and pinions changed in my Beast.

These guys are experts in what they do. They installed ARB air lockers on my 4runner (front and rear). I have far more trust in having a shop dedicated to differentials doing this work vs. any of the 4-wheel shops. Their pricing was fair, they squeezed me in for the work (despite being really busy), and they were really communicative. I would definitely recommend Tucson Differential for any other folks looking to improve their 4-wheel rigs with new differentials, lockers, or re-gearing.

Re geared my JL Rubicon and Bill was very helpful. We had one hiccup but he took care of everything. I would definitely recommend as everything turned out good after the break in. This is the only shop in Tucson that has regraded a new Jl Jeep. Simmons and western haven’t yet. Good price and customer service

I have always had a policy of nobody works on my vehicles but me, but when the rear axle started howling on my truck, I knew I did not have the specialty tools needed to do the job. I made several calls around town looking for a shop that #1. I felt like they knew what they are doing #2. Could do the work at a reasonable price #3. And do it in a reasonable time frame. After talking to many of the shops in town I was pretty frustrated and dismayed. But after talking to Bill at Tucson Differential, I decided to give them the job. While they had my truck, I waited for that dreaded phone call of the job is going to cost a bunch more because we found.... Which never happened! They did the job ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET ! It truly was a breath of fresh air to work with someone who knows what they are doing and operates with honesty and integrity.

Bill is very responsive. Currently we are waiting for some back ordered dealer parts for my Cadillac. It is always encouraging to see well restored hot rods on the property.

I went to Tucson Differential not really knowing what I needed but I knew I needed an expert and that expert turned out to be Bill! I was looking for the right gear ratio to complement my new 700R4 transmission, Bill evaluated what I currently had which turned out to be a 307 rear end, he recommended I go with 355 gears, new axles and seals due to the high mileage and wear I had on my original differential which was 300 plus miles! Bottom line: Bill did an outstanding job on my 66 Chevelle, it’s exactly what I was looking for. 5 star rating for sure. Thanks Bill, job well done.Gary SmithTucson

I had a loud howling coming from the rear of my 1999 F 150. I thought that at 113,000 mile the rear end was out. I checked around and read reviews befor contacting Tucson Differenial.I stopped by to set up and appointment. There were three bay, one with a lot on parts in it. Thought it would be around 1500.00 to fix.They looked at my truck and called said the rear end gears were still good- that the rear axle and bearing were out. They put new bearing, one axle, 8.8 bearing kit, 8.8 lock clutch kit. $1155.00. They could of said it needed a new rear end, these people are honest and do excellent work. The parts in one bay, I took pictures and check - they use good quality part.I would highly recommend this place.

We sent my g/fs truck here to have the differential fixed because it was leaking. The axle tube was starting to leak really bad and these guys treated her very well. They had originally ordered a whole new differential but it came with the wrong guts, but it didnt stop these guys. They took the guts out and rebuilt it, along with providing a one year warranty, IN LESS THAN A DAY! I would suggest this place to anyone who needs differential work. They were kind, and did great work.

Had exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. A good old school shop with no BS.

I got screwed by them 2 times. Over charged for both jobs. 2 job I cleaned diff my self and prepped it for him and help him for 3 months before he did job. Treated me when I complained about him and job he did to another shop. Jay has no idea what goes on in his own shop. Pretty said when you go threw 14 rear ends and he blamed it on gear maufactor when it was the cheap oil he used. You should go to western diff to get work done to get it done right.
