Giving this shop a 4 star rating...would’ve given it a 2 star because my 1st interaction was with the manager and she was just...2 stars. Called in & she had no clue what I was talking about & didn’t seem to care to help. When I went in the next day I spoke to Sean & he totally redeemed this store! A very helpful & knowledge young man! He seemed busy but really took the time to understand the issues my car was having, giving me the customer service that I should’ve initially got & get it taken care of. Thanks Sean! You gained a new customer!

So this morning I got a low tire pressure warning, and after filling the tire with air it continued to lose pressure. Then it started to rain and I could see the tire bubbling air where a screw had gone through the tread. I usually go to Pep Boys competitor across the road, but they were absolutely jammed and I couldnt get in the parking lot. So I went to Pep Boys, where they kept me waiting for 40 minutes only to announce that the tire couldnt be repaired because:a) the puncture was too close to the sidewall (it was inches away)b) it was a run-flat tire (Bridgestone has a clear procedure for evaluating and repairing their run-flats...my case qualified)c) the tires all need to be replaced because theyre too old (4 years is not old, and the car has 22k miles on it!)They then quoted me over $1000 for one unlucky screw encounter. Apparently they were hoping for ignorance and a fat wallet. I declined and went back to the competitor across the road. Yes, I had to wait another 2 hours to get my car in. But they were friendly, pleasant, helpful, efficient and fixed the flat for free with no fuss at all and no mention of any of the above issues. Thats why Ill be continuing to give my business to Discount Tire. Thanks guys!

Had a problem with a tire that was low. These pleasant, helpful guys were GREAT! Took me right in, checked for a leak, adjusted ALL the tires air pressure, and did it in about 15 minutes, which solved the problem...FREE OF CHARGE! They also do all types of service work except transmission.

I have had some very good work done through this shop and i have always experienced good customer service. But two weeks ago I went to get a rear gasket seal replaced and my flywheel done and that’s where things go down hill. They did a great job with that but on the way home my tyre “fell off”. My balljoint lug nut wasn’t secured properly hence the separation of the wheel to my car. i had to find my own tow truck because the one they sent couldn’t tow my car due to the tow company not wanting to rip out the tyre well. Pep boy did correct their mistake and did take care of my needs but just beware no matter where go make sure they tighten the screws....and make sure you record everything and take pictures.

I was very impressed with this store. I had gone there specifically to see if I could find some touch up paint for my car. I had been told that if anybody had it they would. What I discovered was probably the most complete collection of Auto aftermarket accessories I have ever seen anywhere. It didnt have my paint. But it is a full-service store so I decided got my oil changed since I was there. Im glad I did. The store is worth looking at. I intend to go back and really look at that products that they carry I did notice Chevrolet top-of-the-line brands. Their mechanics are good and I gave him a chance to prove it. My car was happy and so was I

This Pepboys has always been my go to store. For its professional and knowledgeable staff mainly. They can and will handle just about any automotive problem that most of us would have. Then also for their very well stocked inventory.Whats more is that these days you can order what you need online then pick it up in-store usually at a 25% discount. So be sure to check it out and save yourself some hard earned cash!

My experience at pep boys was great thanks to Glenda and Maurice they are very knowledgeable and were very helpful to me as soon as I walked in, they took care of me and helped me out with my tire shopping and selection set me up and got me out the door within the hour! Cannot say enough about how helpful Bill and his crew were on a recent visit. From out of town and my vehicle breaks down. Its real close to closing time but these cats put in the extra effort and time to get me back on the road and headed home. They had all mechanics busy but rather than make me wait the counter person ran the check device then to change battery out he gave me access to some tools if I needed and set me up so I could quickly self install and be back on road soon. 🚗 (Sure easier than changing out a 3x3x6 times 260 cells submarine battery) 🌵🤠 ⚓

The Pep Boys Service department on Oracle is the last place to take you car for anything more than tires or batteries replaced. I have been a Loyal Pep Boys customer on Oracle for almost 20 years, that all changed three weeks ago when I experienced a Service Department that seems to need to go back to school and get more Tech training. The techs and service manager all had different stories and sad fact what was quoted on the phone was 3 times higher when I got to the Oracle store! I feel like I was lied to, swindled, and got the Royal run around by not getting the price I was quoted and the worst thing is three miles after leaving PB my Van dies and strands me a 4th time after PEP BOYS said it was all fixed!

Would recommend.These guys are really great at this location.Perhaps you wouldnt think so because of the store appearance or location but the service..... time and time again over the last eight years has been above average and actually very good .Reasonable, competitive prices, reliable honest service and reasonable wait times without any disappointment. Sitting in Pepboys service area now, scheduled a 2pm appointment. Not until 249pm did they even start looking at the vehicle. Nice that they have a window so I can watch the work not being done.Why even have appointments, if you set one and say youre going to be waiting that they blow you off for an hour.I just need an oil change, I could done this myself in under twenty minutes, but not an option on a company vehicle.

Made a 3pm appointment for one of my wheels to be looked at because it was making a loud noise. I was on time. My car was the only one in their garage. At 3:55 someone walked by and told me that someone was about to be back from lunch and will take a look at my car. 4:05 my brakes got looked at. 4:10 they easily fix the issue. 4:25 my tires finally get put back on. 4:30 my car gets taken off the lift. 4:36 my car is driven out of the garage. Total time spent for something that couldve taken 10 minutes: 1 hour and 40 minutes.

I don’t mind getting my vehicle serviced here, however recommend calling ahead for an appointment. As of my last service their website scheduling tool was down, yet still allowed you to schedule an appointment. I scheduled an early morning appointment with them online, but upon arriving the service department informed me that my appointment time would not be possible due to them already being double booked. They did however without too much difficulty get my vehicle within an hour of when I originally expected it to be serviced.

The service was awesome, it always is! This particular day I needed a headlight switch. I was quoted approximately $290 and when my car was ready I went to pay and Bill told me “it’s going to be lower than the estimate” It was $40 less, plus my $15 discount! Came in to get some inspections done for rideshare driving. I stood in front of the service and tires counter. I was the only person in line and the lady behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge my presence for several minutes as she just stood and looked at her computer. I understand if she was in the middle of something, but a simple “hi, I will be right with you” would have been sufficient. She then proceeded to have a conversation with one of the mechanics, neither one acknowledging there was a customer three feet in front of them. She finished the conversation and still said nothing for another minute. I almost decided to leave, when finally, she asked if she could help me. Told her what I needed and then she left for a while. I think she was actually doing the inspections herself, which was why she was gone for a while but she never communicated that that was what she was doing. Meanwhile another customer was walking back and forth between service desks obviously looking for help, and the other staff in the store said nothing to her either. The inspections actually didn’t take that long which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Then the checkout took forever, and she had to go back and forth between computers and had to charge me two separate transactions.Overall: terrible customer service, terrible checkout system, acceptable inspections wait time.

Great customer service and got me in same day. However maybe not worth the cheap price.... their employees seemed overworked and underpaid. Put the wrong size/duty shocks on my van which went out within a week. On a road trip so now have to find the next pep boys and hope they warranty them.

This is my first time going here and will be my last. I was charged for things that I had not recieved. I am glad that I at least checked the window wipers before i left to only find out that one of the mechanics that they employ there had signed off on the things that i had wanted done. I will have to have a third opinion now being that this is a pracatice done here at this location on Oracle. This being my first time, there is nothing that can gain my confidence to potentially regain a customer.The second star was only given because the service advisor/ service writer corrected the window wiper blades but yet he did not give the assurance of what was done and was was found when it came to having my car inspected with specified concerns. I left the store, after spending nearly $500.00, with nothing gained when it comes to driving something that is supposed to be safe to drive and being reliable.Make sure your items, like wheels locks, are accounted for after the services are completed because my was for whatever reason on the road of the parking lot... I had placed in the cup holder for him to find and use... Common courtesy would have had him put it back in the place he got it from... I guess he thought the road was a better place for it?

I had just bought my car from a private owner, and went to pep boys to get an oil change. they had me in and out in 30 minutes. the car i owned was a 85 Mercedes Benz. it cost a little more but it is a diesel and took 2 gallons to fill. They were very courteous and professional. I took it back a year later for another oil change( lm retired and dont drive as far anymore) and they still treated me like i was family. I had my brakes done(rear) the next month. they took very good care of me then too. A part I needed wasnt in stock so they ordered it from Phoenix. it took 4 hours to get the part but was installed as soon as they got the parts I needed for the brakes. I highly recommend them to any body that needs car repair. These guys are GREAT!!!

Everyone was great except for the bushy haired woman at the register, would answer a simple question and had an attitude about it. All she had to do was get on the computer and verify the correct part. So i put $120 worth of parts back and will go to another store where they dont mind answering questions if needed.

Giant store filled with everything except customer service! Finally asked over at the tire counter to help me find an air filter. Gave me a part number. Found the part and it was bigger than the filter I was replacing. No one was around, so I looked through the available catalogs and found exactly what I needed. At the cashier, I was asked if anyone helped me today. no Then I was asked for my receipt. not a return Then I was offered 3 microfiber towels for $19.99. um, no! As I walked out of the store, I was in disbelief at the lack of service, knowledge and assistance.

First, I was told the price of 4 tires were $678.00. That was with buy 3 get the fourth one free. My bill ended up being $736.00. One thing I was not told about is that they charge $75 labor to put them on. This is the first time in my 40 plus years of buying tires that there was labor added on.Second, my rims and new tires were covered in grease and mounting soap.Took me almost an hour of scrubbing to get them clean. So unprofessional looking it was unbelievable.Never again will I purchase tires from this place!!!My rating is a one star!!! This is showing 2 stars NO WAY one is too many.

STAY AWAY!!!! WORST PLACE took my wifes car in for front brakepads and new rotors.We were told the car would be ready at 5 PM at 6:30pm they told my wife something is wrong and there not sure what. They eventually guessed it was the master cylinder.. They replaced that and it did nothing its now 8 pm and we still have NO BRAKES AT ALL. When we took the car in we had brakes it had just your normal squeak. They also hit something when they were test driving it we now have a big black mark on the front end that wasnt there before. So we did not want the working on the car so we took the car. I had to drive the car a couple of miles to another mechanic it was the scariest drive I ever had No brakes I had to stop with the emergency brake..This is the worst service we ever had told the asst manager I was going to call corporate she said they wont do anything you have to call the manager on Friday.. Really bad attitude.!!!!! Instead Im thinking of calling my attorney!!!!!!!

I would give a no stranger rating if I could: dismal customer service, i had an appt for a simple HL cleaning, theearly service key drop off went to a waiting full trash bin, which I had to rummage through myself to retrieve them, their mechanic quit, the manager wasnt on-site, the cashier was very uneffectedby the mayhem at all. Made a 8am appointment on 4/15/19 to get my transmission fluid changed. I was at the service desk at 8 when they opened. A call came on so the said to hold on a second. 5 minutes later the call ended and he started helping me. Then another call came in and he made me wait again. This happened 3 time in a row. Apparently phone calls have higher prioroty. I found it extremenyl ride. It was now 8:15 and my car was taken in. As i sat and watched through the window, the tech and manager on duty were having a animated discussion while standing over my hood. 5 minutes, 10 minites 15 minutes passed. They could care less as they continued to habe their private somewhat heated discussion. After 30 minutes of this BS, i walked out and asked for my keys and left. They handn’t done a thing. It was 845am. Horiible, horrible service.

3 stars is maybe a little bit to high but I can’t give it any less as I’ve been repeat customer. Their prices are fair BUT if you call for quote write down the name of the person that gives you a quote. Every time and for every appointment I’ve received a quote on the phone only to arrive and be told a totally different price. They also aren’t the fastest group in town. It shouldn’t take an hour to change a light bulb with no one else there. But at the end of the day they get the job done and if you can get them to stick their original quotes they are priced fairly

Paid for an oil change and asked them to look at my brakes and give me an estimate. They said I need my master cylinder and brake booster replaced. $600+ for the work so I shopped around, had it looked at by a different shop. Master cylinder was fine and the oil was NEARLY EMPTY. Oil change was done on June 12, today is the 24th and I was even charged for extra oil because my car takes more oil than most so it would have to be a massive, very noticeable leak in order for Pep boys to be innocent in this matter (there was no such leak). You should be ashamed of yourselves. The oil change and brake inspection were done by Joseph Mclaughlin according to my invoice.

Compared to AutoZone and OReillys, this Pep Boys store is great. Great selection of cheapish tools, parts and accessories. The best part being, theres enough employees to answer questions and take calls from anyone, as opposed to waiting for people to stop calling so the employees can run the registers and take care of customers in store.

My husband broke down in Tucson as he was heading home (Four Corners Area, NM) from a funeral. He was already dealing with three deaths in his family within a month, two vehicles broke down and now I had to drive down to tow him home.There was a woman, Gwendolyn who was very very very very kind to my husband. She hugged him, which helped his anxiety. And took care of his vehicle diagnostic. I wish I as able to thank her in person but she wasnt there when we towed our car home.

I had a slow tire leak that they properly identified as coming from the bead, rather than a puncture. Kpop the bead and remounted the tire, and indicated it was fixed but it still did not hold air as I soon found out. To their credit, they didnt charge me anything and that was a nice surprise. The tire was defective so thats not their fault but I was able to detect the leak simply by spraying water from the hose on the tire so they should have realized it wasnt fixed. Despite having three employees in the store and even to in the checkout registers, they only ever had one open even with 3 - 4 people waiting in line. It was such a long wait that I gave up hope and put the items back that I was going to purchase.Make sure you join the Pep Boys Club if youre going to have them do a flat repair because they charge about half price at $12.50 if you remember. You can sign up online at the Pep Boys website and its very easy and quick.

They wanted $400 to change it with a new alternator I told the guy he was crazy I want to Tucson alternator and starter and picked up a alterna.tor rebuilt for $89 and I had Tonys mobile service put it in for a hundred and thirty-five I would never ever go again the Pepboys stay away.
