Took my 6 year old today and the pleasure of having Catherine help us with her bears. Catherine was so sweet and has great customer service. Would have have given 5 stars buts the older lady at the register should not be working with the public, Catherine came to the rescue and got the store manager and she took over the rest of my transaction. Catherine is a 5 star employee.

I always have fun at BAB. The employees are helpful and friendly. They know all the animals and are very patient with children of all ages.

Got my 4th grandchild this for her 1st birthday

Visited to build a bear for Aries Bears. Left the item I completed to be given to the group that was coming in a few days later for their event. Very helpful staff. Everything went smooth. Wonderful experience.

The ladies working on 4/2 were very sweet and helpful. They made a very expensive trip for mom well worth it for my daughter which is all that really matters. Attitude is everything in customer service especially when customers are pats upwards of 55$ fir a bear with all the extras ( clothing scents heart beats sounds) but well worth it. We will def return!

It was a fun experience for a child of about 3 yrs old or more. As a parent, I wasnt that impressed (and I can get into kids activities like this). The prices are crazy so it may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for mine. And the only reason we went is due to some $15 off coupons and the fact that one of my children had a gift card. One could easily spend $50 on an animal. The animals average about $20-$25 with nothing more than stuffing and a fabric heart. Clothes, beating hearts, sounds, smells, etc. can all be added. My biggest issue with the add-ons was the employees trying to up-sell my child on things while I stood behind them without consulting me. Thankfully, I could step in and say something if/when necessary, BUT I hated that the employee didnt give us a knowing look or anything to check to see if it was OK before trying to offer my child upgrades (beating heart, smells, sounds). Theres a line between letting it be the childs experience and keeping parents in the loop and I felt they were happy to cut us out.Overall, the experience wasnt too bad (softened by coupons and gift cards), but I wouldnt really recommend it. The experience itself is only maybe 15 minutes (with waiting in line so it could go faster) and the cost for a well accessorized animal will probably average over $50. You can get away with $25-$30 if you dont want clothes or anything else. But then theres even less to the experience. Again, it wasnt bad for a once in a lifetime experience, but Im not recommending it.

Brought our 3 tear old to build a bear. Very fool how they have the store set up. She picked her bear, filled it up with stuffing, got clothing really cool. The staff here is super friendly and helpful

I love this store in Towson. Many more selections than the one in White Marsh Mall. The staff here were exceptional. I had taken my granddaughter again and again for every occasion we need to commemorate. The last time it was because of the passing of her grandmother. We go and pick out a fair 2 remember her Grandmama Rose. Much to my surprise is she so the first thing she wanted and then she bought a little Rose to attach it to a headband she had bought also. We named her Rosie. I would suggest if your child love stuffed animals and there is a loss in your family 2 purchase a Build-A-Bear to commemorate that person. She always looks for a specific one. Her grandfather died she looked at him as a strong man. So she bought a dinosaur. She called it pop Frank. Frank were glasses so we bought glasses. Theres always sees other little items you can buy to make it personal. Now when she needs a hug or wants to hug she grabs her bear. Theres also recording voices you can add into your bear. Do you have an old video with the voice of the lost loved one you can put it on that recording and then press it to hear the voice those that passed.

Cant go wrong with a nice teddy bear. Wife and son each love theirs.

Its fun for the kids but this place is way overpriced. One time when I took my daughter in her wheelchair the worker kept snickering and saying things about my daughter making her feel ashamed that she was buying a bear. No one should be made to feel this way especially your customers! Just saying....

Decent selection but I wish the staff were a little friendlier and more helpful-- especially since it was our first time. I thought the prices were decent, but I wish they had more basic clothes...

Its expensive, but lets be honest, you arent paying for a bear, you are paying for the experience. Balena was *extremely* friendly and helpful. She made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. My daughter had a blast.

For it being there first time doing this they where great!!! And fast at that!!! Loved it and so did my kids.

We booked a party for my daughter. We were told they would have Rainbow Dash in stock. WRONG! Over $700 for a party for my daughter to have to pick a pony she didn’t really want. Thanks for nothing.

Beware of the overly pushy sales associates who try to talk your children into getting everything they could possible dream of... with total disregard to the parent standing next to them asking them to stop. One associate even tried to talk my son out of what he actually wanted and into a more expensive item. Seriously are they proud of themselves for trying to upsell a 3 and 7 year old against their parents please stop looks?
