I heard about this place from a friend and had to check it out! They have lots of fun, unique and delicious gourmet doughnuts. It looks like they serve coffee too but that section wasnt open while I was there. There is plenty of parking out front as its in a large shopping plaza. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The doughnuts were good but Ive had better.

Oh my goodness! What a treat. I tried the lemon poppyseed and it was absolutely fabulous. That first bite was a sweet and tangy bite of heaven! I also had the maple bacon which was tasty. Cold coffee was good too. A little pricey but worth it!!

Sidecar Doughnuts are always amazing! I love how they always have new flavors to go with the season as well as their staple flavors! I’ve been to multiple locations and haven’t been disappointed at any of them! The line is usually pretty long, but they have a very efficient system so it doesn’t take long and even if it did, the wait would be worth it!

A yummy treat in the City of Torrance. As soon as you open the door you can smell the deliciousness of the doughnuts & coffee. Their teas do not fall behind, they are simply flavorful. Also they do have Vegan & Gluten free options. Definitely must try, I guarantee u will enjoy. Make sure to follow up on their seasonal doughnut selections, they very from time to time 😉

Great customer service and delicious selection of donuts! I tried their new pineapple mint spritzer and it was refreshing and fitting for the summer.

Simply fabulous, HIGHLY recommended... THEEbest donuts on Earth that I know about are available only at Sidecar, period. They are perfectly fried, artfully decorated and beautifully presented. Friendly, cheerful staff.If you cant taste the difference, your tastebuds are likely broken and you should see a doctor.

Pretty much anything you order here is excellent!! If you want to make an impression at the office, here is your go to spot for delicious eats! These are like donut shaped muffins. Huckleberry is a fan fav, but they have all kind of donuts to suit the most discriminating taste buds. Plus everything is super duper fresh!! They also have an assortment of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, etc. Now....its going to cost you a bit more than the usual neighborhood donut shop, but if you are willing to pay the trendy coffee house prices, youll be okay with these prices too! Try them out!

6 donuts and a cup off coffee and $31 later. These are flavorful and extravagant donuts, but a little too pricey to be honest. If you got the $dough$ then by all means buy that donut!

The Freshest Doughnuts 🍩 that is right on point. I strongly recommend you to try their donuts. A variety of flavors plus a cup of Java on the side. Sidecar needs to have more locations especially downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach....FIRE 🔥

The vegan doughnuts are phenomenal. As someone you cant have dairy I couldnt be more grateful for the quality and diversity of their vegan options. Currently their vegan chocolate truffle doughnut is by far my favorite monthly vegan doughnut. Its a must try even if you arent dairy free!

All I can say is......wow! Was a little leary due to the prices (some of the most expensive doughnuts Ive ever had)...but TOTALLY worth it.Not sure exactly what it is, but the doughnuts are super light and fluffy and great flavors.Staff were helpful and friendly and we will be back.

I really like the donuts here they taste a lil more on the healthy side, I’m not a big fan of any of their seasonal donuts I feel the taste a bit overwhelming on those to much sugar, or maybe it’s just the chocolate it extremely chocolaty. If you like chocolate you will enjoy all flavors also not a big fan of the lemon grass one that’s just me I don’t like any lemon desserts. Would definitely recommend to friends. The huckleberry is a must it is by far my favorite.

Luxurious donuts at a luxurious price; $7.25 for just 2 donuts.The donuts are best eaten on the same day. Ideally, you eat them when they are still warm. Unfortunately, sitting down inside is not an option due to the lack of tables and chairs in the building itself.

AMAZING!!! My Girl and I took a trip out to Cali from NY this week. She ended up going to sidecar to surprise me for some birthday donuts on the second day of our trip and we’ve been back every morning since, we also brought back donuts for our families!! Highly recommended, we definitely need one of these to open in NYC!

The doughnuts are pricey but 100% worth it. I recommend going in on a Monday if you can because the Malasadas are to doe for!

The Vanilla Bean Glazed was perfect! So fluffy, just the right sweetness. Also enjoyed their cold brew! Neat spot, and everyone was very friendly when I was there.

The donuts were tasty, so I dont want to knock the rating too much, but these dont taste like donuts. I tried 6 donuts and think that if youre in a donut mood, just go to a family-run donut shop. But if youre in a mood for muffins, then this is a good place to go. The donuts I tried here were definitely more like donut-shaped muffins or cakes.I had a feeling going into the store that the donuts might be different from what I expected, but they were denser than a regular cake donut. My favorite one was probably the chocolate one, but again, it was nothing like normal donuts. It was like a springy, chewy cake, but wasnt overly sweet.The glazed donut was a bit of a disappointment. Although the vanilla was an interesting touch, Im not sure if I liked it in the end. The glaze was also disappointing, as I prefer a nice crisp glaze, but the one I got was wimpy on the glazed side (it was more like someone dipped a brush into the glaze and put the thinnest layer of glaze on the outside, which didnt give it a crunch, and it was almost like they forgot to put the glaze on).Summary: If you want real donuts, I dont recommend this place. But if you want donuts that look good for photos and youre in the mood for something that tastes more like muffins, then you should go here.Additionally, I think this place is also safe for celiacs. I have a good friend who has celiac disease and gets the gluten free option often, and she has not gotten sick thus far. So Sidecar gets a thumbs-up for me for that!

Truly the best donuts I’ve ever had, and donuts are my favorite dessert.The vegan donuts are always gluten-free, so they always have two gluten-free options. Both tend to be similar to Old Fashion donuts in consistency; firm, dense, with robust texture and taste. They’re fantastic!The rotating selection means there’s always motivation to stop in next week.Note; they’re not cheap, but there menu is always updated on their website, so you can set your budget ahead of time.The service is always good, but beware that due to their commitment to being the freshest, sometimes it’s necessary to wait 5-10min for your order.

Most definitely a gourmet donut place. The basil egg Benedict was delicious and savory. I also had the whiskey pecan and maple bacon. Both sweet and delicious.

Gone to Heaven as I consume gourmet donuts freshly produced by Sidecar. Not overly sweet, melts in your mouth yum, what better way to begin being a fan of donuts.

Great service. Its a bit pricey but definitely some of the best donuts Ive ever had. I liked the Huckleberry donut more than the old fashioned (a bit too much nutmeg flavor for my taste), but my friend liked the old fashioned more. I wasnt planning on getting any drinks, but my friend said hed try the Vietnamese coffee since others said it was good. It was also pricey but worth it. Glad we decided to splurge today. Definitely want to return, Lord willing.

The best donuts. Really. I don’t usually like gourmet donuts, but these freshly made doughnuts have the feel and homey taste of “regular” donuts - but like 10x better. Seasonal flavors are so much fun to try. My fave is the monthly “cake” donut which is perfection. Look at the crumb, the crust, the ratio of frosting glaze, and the distribution of sprinkles! So good! Eat them fresh.

Was looking for a nearby donut shop, and found this place. After getting tired of the new Randys Donuts, we needed a refresher. Sidecar was our choice, and boy was it a good one. Although they had a small selection, the donuts were delicious. The line was somewhat long, but not too bad. We got 1 of everything, hoping for the best. They do also have seasonal donuts, as well as gluten-free donuts, so keep returning to see whats new! All of the donuts were moist, fresh, and not greasy at all, my favorite being the Huckleberry. The flavors were good, and mixed well with some coffee we got. My main disappointment here was the staff, as they werent too friendly, but it couldve been from the constant flow of people they had coming. Overall, its a good donut shop, and I would recommend to anyone nearby.

Absolutely amazing donuts and they make them almost to order so they are very very very fresh. The flavors and specials change monthly, and if you go early you can score one of their amazing savory eggs benedict donuts. Fridays they have an apple fritter that might be one of the best Ive ever had.I can confidently say Sidecar has some of the best donuts in LA and there is some fierce competition. Definitely top 3. The coffee is good too and so is the service. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I love this adorable and locally-owned coffee shop! It has a cozy feel and covered with gorgeous art. Everything from the lemonade, tea, and coffee, are absolutely delicious. They have a great variety of drink options and some food. Ive been here a couple of times and every time I come in, I felt welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone.

Best gluten free donuts ever. I missed the iconic place along 405 with the big donut on top in the six years Ive had to be GF. I picked up an order at Sidecar for a friend and she insisted I try one. WOW. Amazing!

I saw the lemon donut was new and decided to try it. However, I was not a fan of it even though I love all lemon flavored food items. If you like lemon and a lot of sweetness, I would suggest it. Also, the Vietnamese Iced coffee needs a little bit more condensed milk because it tasted a bit more on the bitter side.

The Saigon Crumb Donut was good and glazed donut tasted burnt and dry. The price is really up there for one donut about $3 plus but every once in a while is not bad. Good service.

High quality freshly baked donuts with amazing flavors! The dough is perfectly dense and the donuts bigger than youd expect at most donut shops. Also, from a safety perspective, everyone is always wearing masks properly and they limit the number of customers inside the store. If you order and pay ahead, you can go in a separate entrance and just grab your box from the pickup shelf, which is super convenient!

Sidecar doughnuts are delicious have good flavor and are made fresh the staff members are friendly and outgoing . Also the staff is informative about the different selections of doughnuts until then eat delicious sweets

Sidecar is inside the Rolling Hills Plaza along with Trader Joes, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods, and Nijiya.My daughter, my ex-husband, and I went here during the Covid19 lockdown. The donuts are top notch here.

The staff is high energy and pleasant. The donuts are super tasty. My favorite is maple-bacon. Ive tried many of their flavors and never been disappointed but I just cant bypass the maple bacon. It ticks every box - maple, bacon + perfect cake donut.

Great first experience at Sidecar and I will definitely be back again.I ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, the churro donut and the celebration cake donut. It was late in the afternoon but they were still making donuts fresh. My donuts were delicious and I could tell they were made recently and not leftover from this morning.Also they provide a hero’s discount for police and firefighters.

Delicious donuts. A variety of flavors covering classics, unique twists on classics, and fun seasonal flavors. They sometimes run out but usually have more out pretty quickly if you can wait for a bit.
