Great Family spot, they even put some complimentary watermelon for us to enjoy.......it was such a hot summer day too.....HOW THOUGHTFUL. The selection is phenomenal, everything was really flavorful and cooked to perfection. I love the flavor of the lentils.....so yummy....Cant wait for you guys to open back up the dining room, so we can enjoy the atmosphere. Glad your in the neighborhood, well be back to visit soon. Best Greek food in the area. I love their chicken kabob and garlic dipping sauce.

A charming and well lit venue off a small street. Aristotle Cafe serves general Mediterranean cuisine offerings. I ordered the gyros lunch platter which included salad, hummus, and pitas bread. The hummus was exceptional. Salad was a basic offering served with vinaigrette. Gyros was ok. Not the best in my opinion. However I still enjoyed the meal and it was served with watermelon slices as a dessert to end the meal. The ice tea is also another highlight and highly recommended.

I like this restaurant! They have excellent meals, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that spot is a real pro, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is agreeable. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

I take my family to this lovely place quite often! This is my favorite place to have a bite. I visit this spot regularly. The meals are of high quality, the staff is polite and the rates are good. I like meeting in this restaurant over a rich dinner.

This place hasnt been around for decades without knowing what theyre doing when it comes to good food. The chicken and salmon here are scrumptious. Just absolutely delicious! Id tried Baklava before and wasnt too keen on it but after trying it here, WOW! I didnt know it could taste that good! The only downside to this place is the hours. They dont have traditional restaurant hours and now with COVID, the opportunities to try their food are even more limited. If you do get a chance though, I highly recommend this place if you like Mediterranean food.

This Mediterranean food has got to be hands down some of the best Mediterranean cuisine I have had in many years! I ordered the Chicken Kabob lunch plate, and the portion size was amazing! The chicken was coated in amazing flavor, the hummus was delicious, and the side of garlic sauce (extra $0.50) was the best garlic sauce I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

We found this place quite by accident as we were riding down Hawthorne Boulevard. To our delight, the food was excellent. First, it has free parking (something so unusual in L.A.). Its a small and simple place. The first sign was it was almost full the day after Christmas. The service was great with one waitress who was very attentive. They start you with warm pita bread and hummus (yum!). This is followed with a small green salad. We ordered Kafta and Gyro lunch specials which are served with Jasmine rice, salad, hummus. This meal was absolutely delicious.

Nice quaint place with fresh home cooked Mediterranean food. Its a local favorite like Cheers, where everyone knows your name and you get the usual. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Salads are so colorful and everything is decorated so pretty. You wont regret ordering the chicken, gyros, or lamb. And dont leave with getting Sossys baklava made daily!

Its a family run operation.Recommend the kabob plates. Especially the chicken kabob or beef kabobs. Order the garlic butter on the side if your meal doesnt come with it.They also include warm pita bread and hummus for free. Most meals also come with a soup or salad included. This restaurant is a must try if you like Greek or Mediterranean food!

Service was slow: there was only one guy sitting at a table and us but it still took about 10 minutes before we were able to place our order.Food was delicious: I got a gyro sandwich and husband ordered some sort of plate (came with a side of salad). We also received complimentary side dish of hummus in the beginning and slices of orange at the end. By the time we finished eating, we were so full.Although service was slow, we would be coming back for their food.

Whenever I want Mediterranean food, this is my go-to.The guy (possibly the son of the owner?) is SUPER generous. My bf and I werent very hungry when we went, so we ordered just one dish to share. They not only split our dish, but they gave us 2 of almost everything! Kind of like getting two dishes for the price of one! If you arent looking for this place, you may not find it. So LOOK HARDER! Oh my god. I think I tried every thing in 2 days. The falafel is to die for. Its moist inside, perfectly crunchy outside, great flavor. The chicken kebab is so full of flavor. The lamb...tender and well seasoned. Tabouleh...I normally dont care for it, but theirs is so fresh and minty.... fantastic. Hummus??? Oh yeah. Its a food group in my world. Theirs is smooth, and delicious with a perfect balance of garlic and lemon. Seriously...I havent been in food heaven in a while. This place hit all my taste bud happy spots. Im sad I was only visiting. I need them to be 70 miles closer!!!!!

I actually used to live just around the block from this place, but didnt try it until now.Parking is spacious within the back, so no need for street parking!Im not a big fan of Mediterranean food, but I enjoyed a delicious meal here. They give complimentary hummus & pita (which was fresh & warm), and have pretty good service.I got a pita wrap with some sort of sausage- (Sujuk-salccicia). I think it had a great combo of sauces, veggies & meat, although it was reaaally saucy compared to the beef kabob that I tried. I would have preferred it a little less saucy.I tried their Mediterranean coffee, which had a thick grainy coffee residue at the bottom of the small dinky cup, which I couldnt drink. Maybe I just wasnt used to that, but I probably wont be drinking that again.Great place to try out!

Friendly people and the menu is reasonably priced too.The decor is nice, parking a few steps from the door, is next to a renowned besuty salon and a locally favorite pizzeria too, and Aristos is just one block south of the Pacific Coast Highway on Hawthorne Blvd, acrid ther street from a U-Haul rental center at the foothills of Walteria.
