My alternator went at 5:30am on a Friday. I called them and had it towed over at around 9:30-10:00. It was fixed at 3:00! On a FRIDAY! They were VERY professional and kept me informed throughout the repair. I will NEVER go to another garage again. They have my business from here on out! Great people there!

Sometimes I’m late remembering to schedule my service, but they generally can find a time to fit me in. Listening to the exchange between the person who worked on the car and the manager, I sense that their service was thorough. They’ve always taken the time to answer my questions.

They are super friendly and answer your questions and are willing to show you what needs to be fixed so you are aware of what is going on. Not all mechanics take the time to walk you through but these guys do! They are great!

Live out of State but go to Maine 1 or 2x year. Seems like I always have a vehicle problem/emergency and go to Meineke in Topsham ME every time. They are honest, thorough and accommodating to our travel schedule. My daughter was just there for 48 hrs and they fit her in at a convenient time for her, checked her maintenance lights, did an oil change and all-over safety inspection so she could get back to her travels safely. All for just $30 in 30 minutes. She was thrilled. Thank you!

I went to have a front end alignment because my car was pulling and it ended up needed a new tie rod. They were able to fit me in that day and take care of it. They were very professional and did the work in a very timely manner. I will definitely be returning when I have car maintenance or repair needs.

We were 2 hours from home and stopped to change drivers. When I got out of the car, I saw fluid pouring out from under the engine.Checking for local garages, I found Meineke 1/4 mile away. When I called, the manager said they were full today but if we came over he could have a mechanic take a look.A hose to the transmission was split. In spite of the fact that they were full for the day, they were able to order the parts and stayed past quitting time to help us get home.The manager and staff were over the top helpful and friendly. The manager even let us borrow his car to go to the store.Great service, great job. Thanks 👍

Had appointment at 930am got me in early at 910am, had issue with sticking rear brake. The guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. Technician was also very friendly and was able to sort out the problem quickly. He brought me out to show me what was happening, initially thought the caliper was bad but upon further inspection found I had installed pads backwards. Thankfully he was able to fix my mistake at a very reasonable cost. Very honest great people just like the meineke in auburn. Thank you!

I have used Meineke in Topsham, ME several times based on a verbal referral a few years ago from one of brothers, who told me that they were friendly, honest and reasonably priced. His main vote of confidence was that they would not take advantage of a woman bringing her car in to be worked on. After a few years of yearly inspections, headlight replacement, brake work, etc. I can comfortably agree 100% with my brothers referral and add my own vote of confidence re ease of making an appointment, appointments being timely, and an appreciation of always being shown the area needing work/replacement, accompanied by a clear explanation, and of knowing that they pride themselves on their honesty dealing with the public. I wouldnt hesitate to take my vehicle to Meineke in Topsham, ME.... and you shouldnt either.

I’ve always had a great experience at this Meineke location (Topsham, ME). I feel like the guys are really trustworthy and won’t tell me about things that “need” to be done that don’t really. I’ve been seeing them for around 4 years now and I’m always happy with the service I receive.

The good: service was fine. Glad I could book an appointment online.The bad: not one employee wearing a mask. Work was top quality but I won’t be returning until guidelines are followed to protect your customers and the public at large.

They replaced my front pads and rotors. Did an excellent job and considerably less expensive than other places that I checked. I would recommend them to anyone.

John is my hero! I came to Maine from New Hampshire for a weekend fishing trip..3hr drive, as soon as we got here my breaks and rotors went! I was freaking out so my boyfriend and I stayed at a hotel, the next morning I made many many calls to different shops and no one was able to help with my car until I called Meineke. John was extremely nice and stayed past closing to make sure my car was done that day! ❤ he did a great job, and didnt charge an arm and a leg! I highly recommend this place.

I rarely leave reviews or fill out surveys but the service I experienced yesterday at Meineke was outstanding. They not only shared cost saving options to me, but they offered me a car to have while mine was getting the brakes replaced. The staff were very professional and showed me exactly what they were going to do to my car. I am returning in a few days to get my ordered tires on and know that I will be again have the same result. Customer service and quality service is obviously priority here. Highly recommend.

Horrible customer service they tried Telling me that I needed to replace parts that were not even broken or worn and double charge me for parts after making me wait a week looking for a driveshaft which I did not need all it needed was a center bearing very unprofessional horrible customer service and they clearly have no idea what they’re doing there I recommend you do not ever go there

They did really good work on the 1st job at an excellent price. On the second job, I arrived early on a Saturday hoping to get the job done early so I could get on w/ my weekend. After about 15 minutes I was told the parts were ordered, but they never arrived. I did not get mad or anything like that but told them to cancel the order or the parts.

Dropped my vehicle off for inspection. Was told my rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I asked if my rotors really needed to be replaced and was told yes they were cutting into what little brake pad i had left. I took my vehicle to another shop asking them to replace my brakes and rotors (as they gave me a better quote) they called me and told me my brakes probably still have another year, i asked about my rotors and was advised they looked “great” no rust and they were not cutting into my brakes. Passed inspection without an issue. Disappointed with Meineke and their dishonesty.

I was given a $60 quote for the “30 minutes of labor” from another location to change my brake light bulb. I was highly impressed when I called Meineke and they said they’re be able to do it within a couple minutes when I got to the shop. They didn’t charge me and had wonderful service.

I was recently traveling about 2 hours away from home when my brakes started seizing. I pulled over and saw that Meineke was about 5 miles away. I called and told them my problem, and they said they could get me right in. I headed over, only waited about 20 minutes and they had my car in. They replaced my brakes, and even lent me their loaner car to run a few errands while I waited. Everyone was very professional and kind, I would not hesitate to use them again. They really saved my neck in what could have been a really inconvenient and potentially dangerous situation. Thanks Meineke!!

Do not use Meineke prices on parts are double even triple what you can get out of auto store I had work done there and they never fix the problems I have exhaust manifold was not fixed the steering bushing in the upper control arm was not repaired or replaced they offered me $75 on a $550 bill they charge me over 300 for what they did not repair do not go there

After dropping my car off, I decided to leave and go for a walk. I was given a 200$ gift card for xmas, and told them that I intended to use it to get my brakes done. I was called and told it was going to cost nearly double the estimate. I came back to pay, and watched my car sit in the bay for half an hour with no one working on it, just to justify labor costs I already paid for. Wouldnt recommend.

Had an ac inspection, all they seemed to do was open the hood and check my LS pressure when they website clearly states they should do more. Tried to tell me my Freon was low which I know for a fact that it wasnt, and then just tried to get me to come back so Id have to pay for them to get a better look.

First time customer and they were great. Another mechanic suggested them for exhaust work and they did a real good job at a much better price.

Place opens at 7:30 sat, it is now 7:40, still nobody is here. Lazy inept management. If you want your repair managed like this, go for it. I am going somewhere else.

Second bad experience with up selling and attempting to sell parts that don’t need to be replaced.First one was a car with two bad wheel bearings that myself and no one else could diagnose. Passed inspection elsewhere with zero issues.Second one was a laundry list that included replacing leaking two year old struts and a “cracked” serpentine belt to the tune of $1400.Again, passed inspection elsewhere with no issues. Should have learned the first time.I work in an automotive shop and do all of the work on my own vehicles but we don’t do state inspections. This place is in a convenient location to drop off a vehicle for inspection but they are so incredibly dishonest and then try to act like they’re doing you a favor. Stay away and find some place that isn’t going to lie to your face.

Brought my car to meineke over the past few days to get a state inspection, ya know, the usual. When I left with my sticker and went straight home I thought nothing of it until I went to turn my car on the next day and it wouldn’t turn on and it was beeping at me and flashing an obnoxious blue light at me. I called the guys at meineke up and within minutes they were offering to come to my home to help me figure out what was happening and to fix it for me. I’m not a car person, and I don’t know if what even was happening to my car was remotely related to anything they did the day before, but it didn’t matter, these guys care about making sure their customers are safe and happy while driving. They’re the real deal, the kind of people you can trust will take care of your car. Thank you again gentlemen, I’ll definitely be back 🤗

Great experience here on a Saturday morning when my car broke down (all but two of my left rear tire studs snapped off) while on a highway nearby. I thought I was screwed but thanks to the highly competent, honest, and friendly folks here I was back on the road by early afternoon without any additional damage and for a reasonable cost. You can trust this shop - guaranteed!

The crew at Meineki in Topsham is AWESOME! I do most of my own work, and know when I am being taken for a ride. Melissa, John and the boys take good care of people, not just customers. They are honest and trustworthy - if you are looking for a garage you can trust - this is it, hands down. I trust them do all the work I dont have the ability/tools to do on my own. They do it all too, not just mufflers, brakes and shocks... Try em and you will be a lifelong customer.

Meineke has been great, usually you bring your car somewhere and no matter what you leave paying at least a couple hundred dollars, this is not the case with Meineke. They have been honest- dont embellish problems and you can trust them. I called yesterday at 4 pm because my car was making a loud noise and smelled like gas- they got me right in and fixed the problem. A great place you can trust.

They where polite enough but they left my car pretty disgusting inside and they made sure they used up every second they where allowed on the job so they could get as much money as possible. Looked around online and at other shops most said they could do it for 6-7 hrs. Max hrs u can take on this job is 8... they took the full 8. Wont recomend and wont ever bring my car there again.

My exhaust system failed at noon on a Sunday, I booked an appointment online, and the problem was fixed by 9 am on Monday! The manager and staff were polite and the price was reasonable. Great place for basic repairs and maintenance.

I was charged for 2 hours when the (poor) repair took exactly 1 hr and 3 minutes. Was told that they went by a book for charging repair time. NEVER going back

Employees were not following the state mandate to wear face coverings, nor enforcing any patron to wear one. No precautions were being taken whatsoever from what I witnessed. Extremely unsafe, I will never go back.
