The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences in the types of inserts that they sell. Answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions. We will purchase your new fireplace from them this fall and will recommend them to all of our family and friends. John is a great salesman!

I love their store, its quiet and you get personal attention. We are considering switching to a gas fireplace- and even though we have not made a purchase yet, they answered all of our questions and were very helpful. Thanks a ton!

Bought a Fireplace from them to replace the one we had. Could not get a straight answer on Myers install price, maybe minimum $650 then over $100 for quote but additional money since out of town, then could be an extra $150 if the guy didnt have everything he needed. Never ending what ifs on price increases. We hired someone else to do it. The instructions were not all there, I called the store asking for help more then once, no help at all. They kept telling me to go online, which I already did. So after a few phone calls to the manufacturer, i explained there were no instructions on the stone install, they emailed me the instructions we were missing. Our heating guy said there is no way possible anyone could of hooked it up with the instructions that were given with the unit. I got no help from Myers to help me resolve this, luckily I called the manufacturer and told them I felt I was missing instructions and got help. They apologized and said the dealer should have attempted to help us. It seems instructions were left out purposely. They attempted NOTHING to help, but gladly took nearly $4000 for the fireplace.

Im so happy I called Myers to service my gas fireplace. My pilot light kept going out and it turns out the home builder installed the fireplace incorrectly. John was very professional and he went above and beyond what I expected. He fixed my fireplace in 40 minutes. He even cleaned the glass and vacuumed the dust from under the fireplace. (A chore I had been avoiding) Now that its installed properly, my fireplace looks and operates so much better than before.

This started off as a LOVE THIS PLACE visit.....we were looking for a grill, and Tim offered excellent advice. We were sold on one in stock when he said they had a side burner option for $50 dollars more. Perfect! We wanted that! He said it would have to be ordered, no problem for us....he disappeared into the back forever....we waited.....he FINALLY came back, said it would be 3 to 4 weeks to get the grill. No problem, lets order it. HE WOULD NOT TAKE the order...or payment. Said the owner was in Mexico on vacation and he had to check with her and would call us later today. NO CALL. I am in sales, I wanted to spend locally with a small business, and while we were there I also found a woodburning stove I would have purchased. I guess business is so good they head off to Mexico and DONT need people to buy there. I went home, got online, ordered the Grill from Amazon and we will have it tomorrow, not in 3 to 4 weeks.

My wife and I want to convert a wood-burning fireplace to one with gas logs. We found Myers on Google Maps and went in on a Saturday to see their gas logs and get a sense for the cost. The showroom was impressive and the salesman seemed competent. I brought color photos of our fireplace so he could see what we have now. After we picked out a burner/log combination that we liked, the salesman said he could not give an estimate without sending an installer to our house to see where they could tap into our gas line. Sounds reasonable, but then he said they charge $40 for this visit. Hmmm, I don’t normally pay to get a bid to do something, but OK. The installer came out a week later and seemed friendly and competent, but he said there might be a problem with the wood paneling that was near the fireplace. Hmmm, the salesman never expressed concern about this when I showed him the photos, but OK. Then we waited for the proposal to come, and waited, and waited. After three weeks, I called Myers and was told that they had left a message on my wife’s phone to give an estimate a week after the installer had visited our house. (Later, my wife checked her Iphone’s recent calls log, which showed no call had ever come.) The man said he needed to check with the installer and would call me back in an hour. No call. Three days later, I called again and spoke with my salesman. He said he would email me the estimate. No estimate came. A week later, I called and spoke again with my salesman. “You know, my email only seems to be working in about half of the emails I send out.” Well, Myers Fireplace, if you are experiencing email issues, it would seem logical that you would follow up with your customer to confirm your email was received! The salesman said he would send the email again right away. Days passed before it was received—a sloppily hand-written note that included 36 SF of stone around the fireplace to replace the wood paneling. I called Myers to ask for an explanation of where the 36 SF came from, that is, what was the extant of the stone so I could understand what my fireplace would look like. The salesman couldn’t tell me that. I gave up and ordered from a nearby competitor. Thanks, Myers Fireplace, for wasting hours of my time and taking $40 of my money for nothing. I can’t believe this firm is still in business.
