Great local business! My husband and I have been going to Reliance for years to fill up our propane tank and for grill repairs. Justin Mcvicker always provides quick and quality customer support. Repairs happen quickly and we are always greeted like family walking through the door! This team goes above and beyond.I would highly recommend this place!

I was notified by my travel trailer manufacturer on a propane regular recall. After careful review on locating a replacement propane regulator I discovered these regulators were out of stock.So, I called Reliance Propane & Fuel oil and asked Justin who answered the Phone if they carried a propane two stage regulator for a replacement on the propane regulator that I had on recall as per the trailer manufacturer. Justin asked me a few important questions and yes, I have the regular you need. I paid for the regulator over the phone and then proceeded over to the store to pick it up. I brought my recalled regulator with me so it could be determined if the bracket that holds the regulator in place would work on the new one and it did.This is where Jeff and Mike when above and beyond so I could walk out the door with the new regular all fitted up with everything I needed to install this new regulator.It wasn’t an easy task for Jeff to remove the four fasteners used to hold the bracket in place because the mechanical fasteners had Loctite applied so these fasteners would not work themselves loose.Hats off to Jeff, Mike & Justin and the entire crew at Reliance Propane & Fuel Oil.Richard Shaw

I have gone in there a few times lately. They have been very friendly and helpful each time. One of the times I had stopped at two local RV dealers for help with a propane regulator. Both places referred me to Reliance. They essentially built exactly what I needed and it works great!

Got there shortly before closing on a Friday (thought they were open later) and was treated like I had gotten there 1st thing in the morning! Charlie was great and extremely knowledgeable about all of his products. After a short time to think, with no pressure at all, I left with a new Weber Grill, 1st Weber I ever bought, and Charlie made me feel great about my buying decision!! Great family run small business, i would highly recommend everyone in the market for there products to go see Charlie and Reliance !!

The end of September 2020 I asked the floor manager if they could install a hot dawg heater (125,000 BTU) in my pole barn for me. He came over over a couple days later and gave me a pretty reasonable quote. I agreed to the quote and it is now Feb 6 and I am still waiting. Every week they have a different excuse why they cant do it, you would think at some point they would run out of them.I have left messages for the owner multiple times with no response.Makes me think that their customers are not their #1 priority...VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Came out yesterday for the customer appreciation day. Even though it was raining it was a nice set up I even bought some local BBQ sauce from we be ribs

We are first time customers. We scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ago for someone to come to our home and check to see why our gas fireplace won’t come on. The appointment was set for today at 2:30. When the service person did not show up at 3 pm I called Reliance to find out if there was a delay. First of all, the guy in the fireplace dept acted like I didn’t even have an appointment, then he tells me they are running behind and the service person was on his way to Monroe, MI for his 1 pm appointment. ( it was 3 pm)! I told the guy that I was very upset that no one bothered to call me. I told him that being a first time customer, I find that this whole experience was totally wrong. So I said to him “well, if the service person is on his way to Monroe at 3 pm to take care of his 1 pm appointment then I suppose we won’t see him until well after 4 pm”. His response was, “ um yea”. I said, “ you know what, just cancel this whole thing, this is very poor business and I will find another company to take care of our issue”. He said. “ ok”. There were NO apologies or any effort to try and correct the problem. Reliance is not reliable! Needless to say, I have a competitor scheduled to come and take care of our problem. With the Covid virus, we are being encouraged to give our business to the mom and pop shops. Well, I tried!!

Awesome company and people! They were able to accommodate my tight time table and get my old fireplace converted over to gas. Would highly recommend.

Our familys has been coming to Reliance for years now. Ever time I walk into the store Im greeted with a warm smile and very friendly people. Any questions I have they are very helpful. I love how its a family base company and a local business. They really do treat my family like there family. I would give them a 10 star!

It is always great to know that a company like RELIANCE will defy a government order disallowing the disconnection of utilities for nonpayment in order to get their money. While waiting for unemployment, much like MILLIONS of other Ohioans, they cut my gas off the day before my card came.If i had ANY other choice of a propane dealer to go through, i would leave and take my business elsewhere. In the many years ive used propane out East....ive never seen such disgraceful behavior from a company.

Still waiting for the monthly rounds of delivering heating propane. I was told they were out October 9th so the next delivery should be around that time. I still havent been notified of the next delivery in my area. Its much colder out and due to the cost of propane, I dont want to call for special delivery.

Horrible customer service. After mis-measuring my fireplace for an insert, they wouldnt return any calls. We had to hire a mason to correct it and simply asked the owner to return our calls - nothing for 3 months, we gave up trying. HORRIBLE service.

Everytime I come in I have received excellent service. All the associates are very attentive and knowledgeable in the products they sell. I have looked elsewhere for products but no other place has prices comparable to reliance. I will come back again and highly recommend to others.

These guys really care about getting things right even in the face of adversity. Refit a grill changing it from natural gas to propane and they were friendly and knowledgeable. Even when I thought I finally had the correct part and it wasnt Justin personally came out to fix it. Reliance is the place to go in NW Ohio for your grill and propane needs

Just switched out propane service to Reliance. We are more than happy with the switch. Service has been excellent and I would highly recommend using this company.

The citys smelliest Kerosene, astonishingly combative owner.It stunk so bad, i wanted to GIVE HIM the 12 gallons i purchased 24 hours ago back. but instead i got a lot of finger pointing and excuses. its your heater thats not MY kerosene as though this was somehow a weird scam where I buy $50 of kero and then attempt to give it back without demanding a refund. he did eventually find some containers to put it in, so then theres that. the employees, its worth noting, seemed to be nice and willing to help.To the owner: next time a customer is dissatisfied with your fresh 4 day old product, so much so that he just wants you to have it back, consider for 5 seconds that there might actually be a real problem with the product. Dont treat him like an idiot and a liar.To everyone else: considering my interactions with the Owner, I wouldnt put any trust in a character or business like that. If youre actually looking for a quality kerosene to burn indoors, look no further than your local Sunoco. Its apparently made at the east toledo refinery, and has minimum odor. It might be red dye but Id rather have red dye than burning eyes.

Reliance has not delivered on the service that they indicate they do. The want to charge for everything. there prices are high, and they do not make their scheduled appointments, which in turn they charge you for. When speaking with management, they all but indicated that the customer was lying. NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. They continue to input only part of the story when responding to the BBB.They could have very easily avoided this if they would have acknowledged their mistakes.this is not a Business that I would recommend in any way shape or form
