I love this place! I moved to Toledo six months ago and have been trying to find my go-to coffee place. I always end up here. I stop by every week and get a rather large coffee order for my business networking and they are always accommodating. Whether I order online or go inside, they are always bustling with customers and always timely in getting my massive coffee order out. Great coffee!! Great customer service!! This is THE SPOT to go for your coffee.

Great coffee shop not associated with (to my knowledge) any soulless, monolithic chains. Forget SB or TH, SIP is where it is at. A great place to grab a brew and sit for a while, truly within the spirit of a real coffee shop. Plenty of room to read, study, or work on that novel that is totally going to take off. Staff are friendly and helpful. Coffee is good. Tea is good. Stop in soon!

Nice shop, not a chain and has a nice conference room if you would need to rent it out for an occasion.

SIP is so much more modern and well lit than Bigbys. Their menu options cover a wide range of dietary needs with fresh ingredients, though if I wanted a sandwich left in plastic wrap in a cooler all day I would make it myself. That said, they have way more selections, both on the menu and for seating. Love that they display local art as well.

Delicious coffee, super chic atmosphere, and quick service. Many curbside parking slots and an upstairs seating as well. Ill definitely be back!

I went to sip for some coffee. One of the employees with long dark hair was extremely rude. I overheard the short dark haired girl being rude and aggressive to what looks like a new person. She also gave me attitude and made me feel so unwelcome. The coffee was bad did not taste that good. I rate it 1/10.

Rivals Starbucks. Coffee offerings are diverse and tasty. Seating is plentiful and nicely arranged.

SIP coffee is a fantastic little coffee shop! The staff is super pleasant and the cafe has a ton of little seating areas for you to enjoy your coffee while doing work, chatting with friends, or reading a book. The pastries looked delicious as well! Plenty of flavors to add some variety to their various drinks. Their cold brew is very good and they have pour over coffee as well. Highly recommend giving it a visit! Bring a friend or two; you wont be disappointed!

I had a morning cinnamon bun and there was a hair in it. I can’t express the frustration and disgust I felt as a pulled it out my mouth. A staff member told me their sandwiches were pre-made and I could not take off tomatoes as well. I’m sorry but I will NOT be coming back. No one had on hair nets either

Just went there for the first time. Worst service ever. Nice but not helpful. Awful coffee. Asked for flavoring and had no taste. I asked for something else and they were trying to make me pay for a different drink. I ended up leaving empty handed and paid for a drink I never drank. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle. Wont ever be back.

Beautiful coffee shop and staff were so kind. We were visiting from NY, and it reminded us of our shops back home!

SIP is great and their coffee is always awesome. However, my friend and I got coffee there today and we sat outside at a table and we werent near the entrance or near any other people so we decided to have a cigarette (there are no signs posted about no smoking so we assumed it would be alright--again, we werent near anyone and wouldnt have smoked if we were because we didnt want to be rude) and one of the employees (I believe it was the owner actually) came out and loudly told us that we couldnt smoke there because its a health violation or something and as my friend apologized she continued to talk over her and explain that we had to be at least 20 feet off the premises to smoke and told us to go somewhere else. She treated us like we were smoking a joint or something,lol. We werent upset and understood, every place has its own rules, but again, she was very loud and pretty rude about it which was a little unnecessary. I work in food service as well and I understand they have a lot of customers on a daily basis so she might have just been having an off day. We immediately left like she asked. Anyway, I still support SIP but that experience was pretty unpleasant.

Great place, modern which is rare to find in Toledo . Chocolate chip cookie was my favorite. they have a lot of food options. clean for the most part, my concern was the noise it was so loud and you can’t focus in whatever you’re doing their, lots of students comes. staff were ok .

Nice place, good coffee. The food is just ok considering how pricey it is. The thing that I dont like about this place is how slow the service is even though there a bunch of people working behind the counter and my drink has been wrong a couple of times.

The cold brew WILL keep you up and its a cool layout. Pastries are pricey though and music is loud so not super ideal for studying. Also i think the hours are reduced? Better to check in with them if youre planning on studying till close

Sipps is a very Elegant coffee shop with a very reasonable price. Its better than Star Bucks.

Met some nice local artist and worked on my Art piece. Also bought a big chocolate chip cookie and medium coffee with cream. Rich tasting coffee, sweet crunchy cookie, and a very relaxed atmosphere with contemporary sheik decor. I will be going every Monday and you should stop by to make a new artistic friend over a nice hot beverage accompanied by down to earth artist making artistic creations. I will be making this my Monday Art Fix.

It was my first time there today and it was fabulous! Everyone was super friendly, everything was clean, the iced americano and apple chicken sandwich that I ordered were delicious. I was very grateful that one of the employees offered to clear our table since we had our hands full of little ones. The space was modern and open, and had a great vibe overall. We will definitely be back!

I have been to sip coffee on several occasions. I have decided I won’t go back or patronize their establishment due to their unfriendly staff. On most occasions I’ll go in and have no problem but the two times I’ve went in In my work clothes they would not serve me. I’m a construction worker. The first time I left and went to Starbucks across the street. The second time I called ahead, ordered drinks for my whole work crew, got there and they said “Are you the worker guy? Oh yea we didn’t make that. This was after I called ahead and they told me it would be ready in 10 minutes I got there and waited in the parking lot for another 10 minutes before they came outside to tell me. It’s not only the fact that they refuse my service twice but how rudely they acted towards me because I was in my work attire. Sad because the coffee wasn’t half bad.

Its a relative 5 because this is Toledo aka chain restaurant capital of the midwest. Always surprised to see the line at Starbucks when this place is across the street.

Food is amazing! I love the quality and preparation. Its difficult to find in this area.

This is probably my favorite local coffee shop in Toledo. Locally owned and operated with amazing products. Is that lane, this is one of the few places that I have been to that can make coffee better than I can. If youre looking for that cozy Hometown Local Coffee Joint feel with a quality Cup of Jo this is the place to go

If you are looking for a great tasting espresso then Sip coffee is the place to go. Starbucks espresso is like water in comparison to theirs. Please give them a try you will never go back to Starbucks.

Very rude employees. Its $2.75 for a cup of coffee and if you ask for them to stir it they refuse and give you a stir stick.

Their manager was so sweet and the staff was also helpful with helping me and my nursing classmates reserve a table to study for our exam. Plus coffee is cheaper and better than Starbucks 😆

This locally-owned coffee shop offers an excellent assortment of high quality single origin coffees, teas, and excellent hand crafted specialty drinks in a relaxed and casual setting. There is even Kombucha on tap - which is not something most coffee shops typically have. The shop itself is located on a corner and features a small area with a few chairs and tables, in addition to an outdoor patio in the rear.

My favorite coffee and tea shop in Toledo. An incredible find. The quality of the coffee and tea are both high. You can get a wide variety of coffees on pour over. Among the teas, the black currant is a standout and makes for superb iced tea. There are a variety of snack and brunch items, and Ive enjoyed everything Ive tried.

I used to be a regular here. I loved their iced lattes, but stopped coming in because I never felt welcomed. The staff really isnt friendly and the owner doesnt come off as humble. I still enjoy their coffee every now and again, but I think there are better local coffee shops to splurge on.

The girlfriend and I discovered this place during the 419 Coffee Quest and she fell in love with it. She had the mocha and said it was very well made. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy. We will be definitely be coming back in the future.

I ordered a white mocha and they became confused and just gave me a regular mocha instead, even though I tried to make it clear to use white chocolate. The croissant I ordered was very bland also. Not a huge deal but every time I come here something like that happens Style over substance.

I like the upstairs loft, which is typically a little quieter & more conducive for studying, reading or writing. Very family-friendly. The manager is an extremely pleasant and hard-working woman!

Though the coffee really is good, I will not be coming back because of the unwelcoming environment and the manner in which the manager has treated me on multiple occasions. Id say I used to come fairly often, however whenever the manager is present Ive had issues (never any trouble with any of the baristas). The manager is not the nicest, and tends to speak with a condescending tone. Twice I came to meet up with a group for a project, everyone except for me had purchased at least one to two coffees, however I came with water and she let me know that I needed to purchase something if I was going to stay there (which i understand may be a rule) but she came off in a rude manner and I really didnt appreciate that, especially as a pretty regular customer. Another time there was an issue with where I was sitting, and another with me having brought a bagel from home even though I had already purchased a coffee drink. If I had been made aware that outside food was not welcomed BEFORE I spent my money I would have left and gone somewhere else before settling in to the work I was attempting to get done. If I could give half a star I would, I will not be coming back again. Ive had enough. There are more coffee shops in the city, with better more welcoming staff members.

I was visiting Toledo for homecoming and decided to go to my favorite local coffee shop (Bigby) when I realized SIP coffee now occupied the building. This place is amazing. The baristas are really nice and my latte was perfect. I was sure to visit every day. Great job.

Baristas have their hair down at some points. Images in this gallery will show that. It is against health code. Up to date health code explains: your hair must be tied back out of the face, with a hat on, AND you must wear a hair net over the whole thing.

SIP is my go-to study/relax place. The service is fanominal, the Baristas always have a smile and care about your order. The drinks are always refreshing, and seem to hit the spot every time.The environment encourages you to just focus, I typically use that to my advantages when I have an exam coming up. They have a wonderful loft area with plenty of tables and seats for your ideal study session.Would highly recommend checking this place out even if you are just grabbing a cup of coffee with someone. Great environment, great people.
