Coffee Quest 2021:$3.00 for two shots of espresso over ice with brown sugar syrup (they do not have caramel).Plate One definitely represents the rebound downtown is making. It has an elegant and comfortable atmosphere thats great for meeting with others. The shots were flavorful and pulled nicely. The brown sugar syrup is a fine substitute for caramel and added some depth to the flavor. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their commitment to craft.

Centrally located in downtown Toledo. Spacious interior with many different seating options. The atmosphere is calm and the food (breakfast/lunch) and drink (coffee/tea/smoothie) options are plentiful.

Great sleek and cozy place to grab some good food and coffee/tea and cocktails. Ordered the goat cheese and veggie flatbread. It was delish. Also got the guava matcha frozen daiquiri, it was a yummy type of health drink with rum. Best of both worlds. Service was also great. Definitely will go back.

Located in Downtown Toledo, Plate One is a very modern cafe. The cafe has natural lighting and soothing music. Wifi is available, And the employees are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the items served. My first time eating at Plate One I ordered a popular chicken pesto panini. This sandwich was paired with fried potato chips. I really enjoyed it. I would definitely return.

I just stopped in for a quick cup of coffee while I did some work and was very surprised to see how upscale it felt. Everything is clean cut and elegant. The baristas were very nice and my latte con miel was delicious. I would definitely come back.

Love the communal table with several plugs. Made it easy to work, and I love having the option of a real table over a couch or high top. Just a personal preference when Im lugging around my laptop.The location is small but you are immediately welcomed cheerfully, and are in and out with minimal wait and some great coffee.

Exceptional espresso drinks

While visiting downtown, I stopped in for a coffee and decided to also have lunch. Super clean, modern and mimimalist styled atmosphere with perfect level background music. Staff was friendly yet still professional and helpful when responding to my ordering concerns. Had the cinnamon muffin and a turkey wrap, both were good, but I thought the turkey wrap was more on par for perfect. The jelly that came with it was wasted on my uncultured palate, and after the muffin kind of wasnt interested in it, tho I tried it. The plain old coffee of the day i had wasnt too brutally roasted that I needed to add a lot of sugar.

Wonderful little coffee house! We enjoyed our bagels and coffee. My daughter got a smoothie she loved! Will definitely be back when in Toledo!

A wonderful modern atmosphere complete with great coffee and good quick food. It has separate rooms if you want extra privacy. It is a great place to relax with a book or computer. The main barista is excellent at her job and definitely tops off an all together wonderful experience.

Wanted to love this place- however I was not even able to make it in due there not being any free parking close by- only a garage next door that cost 10 to utilize. If you want coffee downtown Toledo head over to Rust Belt- great locally roasted coffee with a parking lot for patrons.

After reading the great reviews and hearing how amazing this little spot is, I was so excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, I didnt get the chance. They dont offer heavy cream, which I understand isnt frequently requested, but also no half and half. Why? They didnt offer an explanation when I asked, just told me how good the coffee was. Disappointing.

The pistachio muffins are my favorite! Love stopping here, wish the city was going to keep free parking to help out privately owned businesses like this!

Good coffee selection, fantastic tea selection. I visited during a funk jam so it was a great night. Always has a young and happening crowd. Busy during later events but just a good, laid back coffee shop during the day.

Nice chill vibes. Relaxing atmosphere with comfortable seating and a Epic Spotify playlist. The Baristas there take their time to make each coffee to your liking and perfection. The quality is on point, the presentation is stellar and the flavors are magnificent. This place is definitely on my top 5 list of coffee spots in the Metro Area.

AMAZING. This place is the best coffee shop in the 419. From pourover, to lattes, to customer service. Any time I’m in town, this is where I go for great atmosphere and even better coffee.

Very nice coffee shop in downtown Toledo. On a recent visit I enjoyed a Honey Almond Latte and their Kale Edamame Salad. Both very good! My daughter opted for a Chai Latte and an Everything Bagel. Yum! The staff was also very pleasant and accommodating. Plate One is a great place to do some work too. There is plenty of space and outlets for charging your laptop.

The cafe was pristine, luxurious, and spacious.The drink I had was good (a macchiato using a single origin Madcap coffee) and the everything bagel with goat cheese (though I struggled keeping it as clean as I found it with the seeds trying to litter the table).They have many vegan and gluten free options, and have both typical cafe food like pastries and bagels and more substantial options, like salads or sandwiches.The environment was relaxing and aesthetically pleasing, with jazz music playing in the background.Free WiFi.I cant attest to the alcohol, but it all seems thoughtfully selected and well prepared.The baristas were very committed to their service, one even researched the espresso options they had available online as they were just received and they hadnt even opened them yet.I go to Flatlands in Bowling Green quite a bit, and the service and quality seem comparable (both incredible). They definitely have different environments, but Plate One is awesome and definitely my new favorite in Toledo.

Cant find it. Theres no parking to look for it, and no obvious signage. Dont waste your gas going in that direction you will just get frustrated. Really wanted to try this place but I guess they dont want to be found.

Very good food, Id give them a 5-star is they had high chairs or booster chairs for babies.

Food was good, probably more healthy than I expected. Staff was pleasant and prices reasonable.

The coffee is a bit higher end, but I really enjoy it. The setup is very classy, spacious, and all-around well designed with a good atmosphere. I havent had their lunch food yet, but is really well priced for food that sounds very healthy and incorporates a lot of solid produce, so I intend to eat there more. Apparently theres a cocktail menu too so thatll be on the list as well. Also, Ive gotten pretty good, friendly service from the staff, so its decently inviting. And on a side note, Ive had coffee at every coffee shop in all of the Toledo area and Id rank their Nitro Brew iced coffee amongst the top 3 iced coffees Ive had around here. Would recommend.
