I called this store for some needed merchandise. Nicki, who was ultra nice over the phone helped by locating it, putting it aside for me and notifying her coworkers I was picking it up. She didnt have to do all of this but she did anyway. Home Depot should be very content they have an exemplary employee like this.

Great selection of items especially right now during the holiday season theyre pretty stocked up compared to other stores that are either empty shelves or minimal selection.

I have used this store for years. The first time I have needed to take something back that I didnt need and they refuse to give me my money. The manager said it was for my protection. The checking account I used to buy it no longer exists. So how is forcing me to spend over $300 at home depot protecting me? I will never use another home depot again. I have been a pro account holder for over 5 years and spent thousands in these stores. But never again will I support them.

These people are awesome. I bought a freezer from them and got it home and it was very damaged. Taking it back and getting another one was one of the easiest experiences Ive had with the Home Depot! They did an awesome job.

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and as much as I was dreading the experience the folks here have made it as good as this kind of project can go. Alton has done a phenomenal job with the design and ordering and Josh is hands down the best installer/carpenter/contractor I have ever dealt with and Ive been in the building supply industry for 30 years. I cant recommend them enough for what theyve done!

I love Home Depot for the variety and love the garden center. Wish there were more employees in the garden center though. Everybody is super nice there.

I was there looking at plants and looking at parts to be able to finish up some crosses that Ive got made and painted so that I can mount them so they can be hang on the wall and so that I can sell them Ive already got one so theres two left that as far as I know theyre sold thats what I do in my spare time whenever I have up to it but and thats why I was at home Depot to get the right nails and screws so that they mount together correctly so that they can be taken care of home Depot is always taking care of me properly and always been friendly and good to me Ive been going in and out of there since the last 20 years since 2014 my work like that is slowed down to where that I can only do it whenever Im able to but Ive always been taken care of at home Depot they will take care of you if you go in there and you know what youre looking for if not someone will help you thank you and God bless you

Service desk; 1 employee for returns and order pick up... Line is to the door! Finding an orange vest per department is hit or miss... Mostly miss. Majority of my time here is NOT collecting items... it is looking for orange vests! My guess, corporate simply wont allow an ample wage to get enough people to work. Those that are here... Are usually wonderful and service oriented! POOR management!!!

The store in Killeen said they had 3 of the Chainsaws in stock but didnt want to look for them so we drove all the way to Temple store because they said they have it so we paid cash up there and got great Service. Yall need to train the workers in Killeen how to treat customers

My husband was looking for a grill that wasn’t too expensive for the time being until we get settled in our new home. Home Depot delivered. He found this grill for only $200.

Needed help looking for particular things. Stopped at the front desk to ask. They looked on the computer and said no. Saved a lot of walking. The garden center was of no help. The plants are in poor condition. The tomato plants are good. Pricey, but they were descent. No canning supplies. With 4 small tomato plants, 3 packets of seeds and a bag of soil it was so expensive that we almost left the cart.

Customer service there are very friendly and willing to help you out in whatever you need

Not impressed, I witnessed an employee, Anthony Jackson, go out of his way to harass and bully 2 Service dog & Handlers. I was definitely not ok with this, as I am a Service Dog handler myself. Fortunately, I didnt have her with me this time.

It would really be nice to have people in each section of the store. I miss the days when you could actually get help in retail stores without having to walk all the way to the front of the building to page someone. Just to have to walk all the way back.

Stocked Up. Clean. The Employees ratio to customer seemed a bit low and were overwhelmed with the inquiries from the customers. They did appear friendly,cordial, and educated of the products and needs of the customers. I’d Recommend more assistance in select areas in the store. Especially the Saturday weekdays...Visited the location a 2nd time Because I needed a lawnmower, and they had some good choices on types of lawnmowers for a example models electric gas battery. Had to decide which brand because some brands did not honor The veteran/military discount at this Home Depot. So FYI! some products will and will not honor the discount. Good luck shopping. 😬😬

The store is too big. Its hard to find anybody to help. Also, their website often says that they have inventory online, but when I go in person to get it, there is an empty shelf next to the sticker. If Im able to track somebody down that works there, they usually say that the online inventory was likely inaccurate. This is just like it is at Lowes.

Incredibly rude customer service from every employee I interacted with. From the two young men working lumber to the young woman at the front counter, everyone was sarcastic and rude. I don’t usually even pay attention to that kind of thing but this was unreal. Do better Home Depot.

The only time I did not have to hunt someone down for help was in the washer/dryer section. That lady was very nice. Everyone was nice but it’s just hard to get help! I also hate that every time someone buys something like a fence post it never has a bar code and it takes forever for them to look it up so they can check you out.

This store in Temple, Texas was great. My husband and I are disabled and the gentleman door greeter asked if we had anything in particular we were looking for and when we told him what we needed, he immediately told us what aisle it was on. So impressive. We definitely like the friendliness and knowledge of the staff throughout the store.

I went to different places and of course found what I needed at Home Depot. No doubt, Home Depot is the place to go to get your lumber. Quick to shop and quick to check out. They had things we couldnt find in other places that should have had the things we needed. Furthermore it was less expensive than the others. What else could you want and what do you have to loose. No need to waste gas while shopping around like we did. Just get it from Home Depot and quickly go home.

I normally shop at Lowes since they offer a veterans discount every day but I had to resort to HD because Lowes didnt have a sink with vanity I needed. I ordered online, opted for curbside. Got home and the vanity was not in the box. I called the store and they insisted that Id picked it up, then said it was still enroute and should arrive soon. Got a call back later saying it was at the store and had just been overlooked. NP, things happen. I pick it up and go to install it and the sink bowl is cracked. I take just the sink top back to the store and because the item is listed under one SKU# they have to order a whole new vanity and top, which theyll ship back as defective once they switch out my sink top. I have to pay for a second vanity and get the return credit number. Two weeks later, no credit has appeared on my acct so I call the store. Apparently because they have not shipped the sink back the credit cant be issued. They cant do anything about it until the new top comes in, which Im still waiting for. Not a fan of HD process and certainly will not order online again.

Home Depot always has what I need. I love the veteran discount for my large purchases.

Went to have a key made here on 05/26/2021 the machine was down and the employees did it for me manually but seemed a little flustered because they had not ever used the manual machine and normally the auto machine kiosk was the normal way to do it. Found out it wasn’t working when my boss tried using it to open the office door the following day. It wasn’t a problem of the keys not working the problem was when I went back the following day 05/27/2021 there was an employee there working the key station servicing the key machine when I informed him the keys weren’t working that I had made he looked at them and said it’s not possible to do it because it was a copy and that you can’t make a copy of a copy of keys. I wasn’t trying to question his knowledge but I knew that hat wasn’t the case because we had made duplicates of the exact key I was trying to make a copy of so I asked if he was sure. He then said absolutely call a locksmith and they are similar in price to us (knowing that’s never the case, and I’m sure he knew that too) the employee didn’t even attempt to help me whatsoever just told me to checkout and get a refund. So I did what any person would do, I got my refund and went to Walmart and used their key machine and wouldn’t you know I have three functional keys that work from the copy of a copy this employee specifically stated wasn’t possible to copy. So with that being said had he just taken the time to at least try for the customer or put my mind at ease then maybe the experience could have been different. Plus having a cocky I know everything attitude is never the way to go especially when you aren’t factoring in the need of the business of the customer who comes to you for assistance, the gas it took to go out of the way for this inconvenience, and last the trust you just lost from a customer Because now they can’t rely on your judgement when it comes to the knowledge you have about the job. Customer service just isn’t what it used to be these days.

Home Depot is a great place to shop if you can find someone to help you and if theyre not knowledgeable enough to know what to do or to ask the right person how to do the job I love loves though I was told it was a husband and wife divorced one bought loads of one bought Home Depot

Great place to shop for home projects and the employees are usually helpful. I often find that items that are listed on the website as being in-stock in store aren’t, or they’re no where to be found (even with the Aisle/Bay inventory system that is in place). Overall a good place to pick up tools and supplies though.

Love Home Depot but hate the wait game. Lowes either have more staff or atleast are around more. I waited almost 30 mins for a weed trimmer to be unlocked. Had one guy go look for someone. Nobody ever came. Then had someone page over the intercom and nobody came. Luckily a old sweet lady came and I asked her for help and she searched and got someone. The wait or search game has happened before. Love the products they have though.

If you want to buy a washer or dryer and you need it to today or tomorrow you need to shop somewhere else. They are 10 too 15 days out to get one . They dont sell the ones in the store. Like I would know ahead that my dryer was going out and could order it ahead of time this store has been no help anytime I have been there to pick up supplies.

We went into Temple to buy a new exterior door for an old house. We wanted Home Depot to install it but when the man got to house he thought we had lead paint around the frame and did not even measure it. I called Home Depot to see if they had anyone who could remediate the lead paint and install our door that we had on hold. We were told they did not. We then checked with someone in the area who said he could install it. When my husband went to purchase the door (and storm door) yesterday they could not find any record of the doors we had selected and put on hold, nor did they have any more in stock. Before we gave up on Home Depot for good, I decided to make one more contact and was fortunate to get in contact with Mark Waldrop in Temple. Mark was outstanding! He understands customer service! Apparently our order was cancelled because they did not have anyone to install the doors, although we never told anyone we did not want the doors. Mark determined the Killeen store had six doors like we wanted in stock, made the call to verify they did in fact have them. My husband went to Killeen today and got our exterior door, storm door, paint,etc. Joe over in Killeen was extremely helpful! He knew my husband was coming. Mark in Temple and Joe in Killeen deserve extra recognition for exceptional customer service. Some of the other employees, not so much! We will continue to do business with Home Depot because of these two men.

I dont do a lot of building and stuff but my husband does! We have never had an issue. I do love gardening and i have always found what i need for my garden and the employees are always so nice and welcoming although sometimes hard to get ahold of or find for help.

Staff was great, products available are what you expect.But they are understaffed which makes trying to find help very difficult. I shouldnt have to go to the front to request help after 10 minutes of searching. Online buyers beware!So I ordered accent tile online April 6th $22 a sheet i bought 10 sheets! Order said April 16th it would arrive so I scheduled my project around that date got things started the 16th in the morning waiting for the message it was here. Never came! The tile shipped the 13th according to the app. So why would it not be here the 16th. As the customer care person put it its my fault due to the date being an estimated date. So I know I shouldnt have scheduled around that but I have family helping from out of town so I was left no choice. If the store actually had choices and the app had accurate times or at least delayed messages it would have prevented me from having half a shower for a week! Oh BTW they couldnt overnight the tile so im stuck waiting!

Ask 3 people to help cut cable none would get some one else. That didnt happen finally a lady help me after waiting about 15min. Then stood in line to check out I dont like self check I dont work there.

I don’t normally write reviews, but the customer service I received warrants a one star review. I had an item I was looking for pulled up on my screen, but couldn’t find it at the aisle/bay that was displayed on their website. Thinking it would be really quick and painless, I asked an older female employee for help and she totally ignored me while I was standing right next to her. Thinking that she hadn’t heard me the first time, I asked again. And before I could even finish asking she said “what is it” in the rudest tone I’ve ever heard from someone on the job. I told her not to worry about it and she went back to what she was doing. If you don’t like your job, get a different one. It’s a good thing they no longer use the slogan “You can do it. We can help.” Because they are not very helpful.

They did not have what i was looking for, but one floor person did offer a solution to my problem. I did go to Lowe’s after checking HD first, Lowe’s did have what I needed in stock.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. went to get 5 gallons of sky blue interior paint.. I was on a budget and was trying to buy the paint and have them mix it to make it sky blue.. the woman would not allow us to do that.. she picked the most expensive paint and said they can only mix if we purchasd that specific brand.. we felt like they did not do what they should have done to give us (the customers) what we wanted..went to mccoys spent way less and got exactly what we wanted and we were treated fairly

I needy a key made and the sales associate was able to get it done for me. She was great and very helpful. Tried at a couple other stores with no luck. Glad my wife suggested we go to Home Depot. We have been customers fort many years.

I recently purchased some flooring at a different location that was on clearance. I ran out before finishing the job and learned the floor had been discontinued. I was calling other stores with no luck until I was forwarded to a nice lady named Sharol at the temple location. She stopped what she was doing, went and looked for herself and found the flooring we needed. The fact that she put her own eyes on it instead of just looking on the computer was what made the difference (other stores say they have it and dont) This was a huge help when nobody else would take the time. She saved the project I was working on from being a complete redo! Thank you so much Sharol!!

What is the deal with Home depot no longer allowing a military discount to Veterans with a new valid DL with Veteran printed on it. Demanding my paperwork, when I had to present that paperwork to the State to get Veteran on my DL to begin with. Shopping at Lowes or small box shops when possible from now on.

Buyer beware! Customer service apparently doesn’t exist in this location. Ordered a fridge online that showed 6 in stock at this location. Called off work to be there for the delivery window of 6am to 8pm. Got a call 2 days before delivery that because they put the order on the wrong truck they’re gonna push it back a week. Cant do anything about it. Asked if there was anything that they could do and they said nope it is what it is. Wow really. I’ll be sure to go to anywhere else besides this dumpster fire. I’m gonna also make sure nobody orders anything either. Had to take two days off work for a delivery window worse than cable. No communication or updates either. And delivery was through third party and did not set up or verify the item would work or was not damaged. Never again.

Not bad, want happy with Home Depot, but then Angela (supervisor) step up for some serious and real customer service. I bought a fridge and they were suppose to deliver on the 20th. Manufacturer and delivery carrier failed big time, delivery never happened. When I went back to Home Depot, Angela herself called the manufacturer to try and get delivery as soon as possible. Manufacturer claimed that the fridge was mark as return and not replace, therefore suggesting me to order it again and wait another week, just one problem, I dont have an old fridge, meaning I cant really wait that long. They told me that when you buy from them, they just put in an order for you, something I avoided doing it myself because of the time it takes for them to deliver. Now, the reason for only 3 starts is because they never looked for a way to resolve my issue on the spot, Angela did call but just told me what the manufacturer said, she didnt look for any other options neither offer other solutions. I ended up buying in another place, a bit more expensive, but with 2 days delivery guaranteed, something Home Depot could learn from them.

ONLY 1 checkout stand open, about 7 contractors waiting with large orders to pay. I have 5 little faucet insulators, try to go to the self serve checkouts. CARD ONLY! I am NOT using a debit card for $10 worth of goods! The kid working the qc area said, Thats the way it is! Ill take my business elsewhere!

Tonight my wife ordered items around 7:45 pm online that the Temple store had 10 in stock. 20 minutes later she received a call stating they could not find the items in the store. The person on the phone stated the items did not have a home that is the reason they could not locate it. Home Depot stores need to keep up with the web sites because it causes us customers to be upset and disappointed especially if we needed the items.

Sick a clean, organized, and well stocked store!!! Came in to purchase appliances and was greeted by sick a nice employee. Even though the order is not being delivered for there weeks, the experience makes up for the wait. Shipped for other items and noticed that paint, cleaning supplies, fixtures, and flooring were all well stocked and organized.
