The Sephora inside JCPennys is awesome. Went there after attending the Sephora across the parking lot for some quick shopping to find a cologne they had told me was no longer available. Really shady employees. Go to the one inside JCPennys. You will be really happy you did.

Honestly the first time I came here I was mortified at how small it was BUT Divinity & Steven made me forget about that! They were so nice and so helpful! They did their best at color matching me while following protocol and they have great product knowledge! I will keep going here & probably will only talk to them lol

So yesterday I went to exchange my foundation that I had purchased on Sephora.com they sent me the wrong shade I just wanted to exchange it for the right shade it was over 60 days already so she was not going to let me exchange it. she said she could go ahead and call someone to ask and see if they could do it for me while I heard her on the phone she told the person she was speaking too if I could get a refund then she got off the phone and said sorry they they said no. walked outside made some calls pretty much they said that they would be able to exchange it for me elsewhere. I went back in to talk to the lady that helped me, she said she was the store manager there and was very rude and very unprofessional I told her that I didn’t want a refund I wanted to exchange it and that she didn’t mention that in the call she cut me off and just said I’ll go ahead and just do it we’re not supposed to and I don’t ever do it but I’ll go ahead and do it now as much as I didn’t even want her to help me anymore I don’t wanna have to drive across town. So when she was going to exchange it for me I had told her I thought I needed 120 and they had sent me 150 I asked her if as the numbers go down they get darker she just said yes without caring that was wrong information and she kept looking at her computer lets keep in mind 150 was already too light for me then later I was like I want to make sure that I’m gonna exchange it for the right color and then she very bothered walked over to look at the colors she said 120 would be ghostly on you so she was pretty much going to let me exchange it for the wrong color again just because of how bothered she was this is someone that I trust to help me guide me let alone someone Sephora trust to manage their Place of business. Someone like this could not be trusted she didn’t care to help in anyway she was very careless and I even asked for the general manager which is what another location told me to do and she said that the general manager answers to her because she’s the store manager. I just thought Sephora would like to know who they have managing their store this is the person that supposed to help them make more money bring in clients and all she’s doing is making people never want to go back there again.

Caroline is AMAZING! Sephora is extremely lucky to have her. She gave me a makeover and a mini makeover to my daughter. She is friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything she was applying/purpose because I don’t really wear makeup. Caroline made my daughter and I feel beautiful for our event. Definitely recommend and will go back. Thank you!!!!

I was passing through on a business trip when I ran out of my Bare Minerals foundation powder. Alex was friendly and very helpful in helping me locate it. She also helped me to realize I was using the wrong shade! Thank goodness for her keen eye. She then recommend a reasonably priced lipstick to match my complexion. I was hesitant because I dont wear much make-up, but I have received SO many compliments since I began wearing it! Thanks Alex! Great store!

I normally dont take the time to give a review but I really enjoyed my experience here. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. If it wasnt for Alex I wouldnt have thought much of this store but her recommendations and her helpfulness really made the experience. I feel more confident with make up now thanks to her. From now on Im going to make this the Sephora store I go to for all my makeup needs.

I really loved my experience here at Sephora with Alexandria Lopez. My friend and I went in to buy some makeup but we don’t use it very much and had no idea where to start and she helped find exactly what we NEEDED and I was very pleased with everything my friend and I purchased there :) thank you Alex!

Unfortunately this is the closest “Sephora” location to me, so I consistently make the mistake of shopping here. I do not recommend anyone make this same mistake. They never have any new popular products, and the workers are beyond incompetent, with zero to no product knowledge, or any awareness of the Sephora brand. In addition to their employees being incompetent, management is extremely poor, and does not own up to simple to fix mistakes. I will never spend another penny in this excuse of a Sephora, and I encourage you to make the drive to Scottsdale or Chandler to avoid this embarrassment.

I love Sephora, but Everytime I go in there to purchase Fenty foundation they are out of stock and I have to wait almost a week for them to restock. They know the color I wear is popular but they still wont keep it stocked up for consumers convenience.

Sephora inside JC Penny is not as great as it used to be (I still love JC Penny though). I remember my first time entering a Sephora, I was in Vegas. The one inside JC Penny at Tempe Marketplace is drab, dull, and very secluded. Its so small and product aisles are so close to each other that in order to avoid bumping into someone you would have to walk down another aisle. I also recently did not receive an online order even after waiting an entire month. It appears that this Sephora may eventually go out of business, just my opinion based on observation and experience.

I got a lip gloss from a JCP Sephora as a gift. I went in with the gift receipt to try to get a gift card in place of the lip gloss since I was in a hurry and did not have time to shop for an exchange.The sales associate was extremely rude when I went to exchange for a gift card with my gift receipt. She kept asking if I had the original receipt, so I kept telling her that I only had the gift receipt as this was a gift....not sure what was so confusing about presenting a gift receipt to her.She then told me they do not give gift cards, only an exchange, even if you have a receipt. I have never been to a store that did not offer you a gift card when you present a receipt for an item. I even looked on my gift receipt and it did say you can exchange for a gift card with receipt. Overall, I was disappointed and now I will have to go back to exchange the item when I have more time, versus just getting the gift card while showing a receipt.

I received a coupon for a free Fenty beauty makeover after my purchase at JCP. So I head over to Sephora and the consultant told me that the makeover was actually just to color match foundations. Pretty disappointing. Choose a more friendly Sephora consultant, because the one I spoke to showed no interest in being there, let alone helping me.

I went in last week to get a sample of tartes newer water foundation. All the girls working were gathered up together by the counter talking no one greeted me or even looked my direction when I came in. Finally as I was about to walk up to them to get help one of them came over and asked if I needed anything, I gave her the bottle of what I needed a sample of and she brought it back to me with a small sample container. I tried it a couple days later and completely broke out all over my face and neck area. This was not a normal break out so I knew there had to be some type of bacteria in the sample that she gave me. I called and spoke with a lady who had an accent to let her know that way she could remove all the samples in that color from the floor so it didnt happen to any other customers who wanted a sample. She was not listening to anything I was saying only kept asking if I wanted a new sample. Told me that she couldnt remove samples from the floor… How does that make sense? So if a floor sample has bacteria you cant put a new one out? It will just remain contaminated on the floor for other customers to use? I asked to speak with someone else so she transferred me to the store beauty department managers voicemail. I left a message including my phone number but did not even get a call back thanking me or letting me know that it had been taken care of. That was 4 days ago. Ill stick to the better Sephora locations.

Pros:-They were fast at checking people out so the line didnt take long-they called another store about an item they were out of.Cons:-out of many things-everything was a mess-had to track someone down for help even when someone was loose on the floor and I had a confused look on my face the entire time-hardly any suggestions were given, I had to askId rather go to Ulta in the same plaza but I have a giftcard here.

Went here today to exchange palettes and the manager here Jenna Lee was so rude and snobby, kept repeating the same thing I actually had to say (yes I heard you the first time) trying to move on! And they wouldnt let me exchange because they were holiday items, so rude! Bad customer service! And Ive spent hundreds at sephora SMH

I want to say that this lady that helped us was very rude she didn’t help at all asked her to help match me for concealer and she just goes and chose one I didn’t have a chance to look at it and I come home and it’s was the wrong color and then wasn’t willing to answer any of my questions.
