Today is 9/18/21 and I will no longer rent from Penske due to the overboard mask and distancing mandate inside the rental office. My decision is probably not popular but it’s time to stop the nonsense.

Great friendly staff. 1 star removed just because their reefer diesel trucks leave a little more to be desired. 1 truck I rented, the cab A/C had went out mid trip, and in 100+ degree weather. Another truck I rented at a later date felt like it was going to rattle itself to death at freeway speed of 55 MPH lol. But other than that not a bad place to do business

I am extremely disappointed with Penske. This was the first time I rented a truck from them instead of my usual go-to U-Haul. I arrived at the Temecula location, and the truck was ready. I picked it up, drove a few miles only to find out that the steering wheel is shaking vigorously. I brought the truck back, and the Penske employee told me that she knew about it, but that the steering wheel was doing it only in the beginning of her drive from San Clemente. I could not believe that this unsafe to drive truck was given to me when the employee knew about the issue. I had to scramble looking for a U-Haul rental and had to pay extra to get the truck I needed. Unnecessary stress, frustration the day of the long-distance move is not something I needed when I gave Penske a chance. The employee did give me a free day on future rental, but seriously, I feel I cannot rely on Penske again.

I like this place but when returning the vehicle, even though I was the only person waiting there, Andrew thought it was more important to check in vehicles that were parked instead of spending the 2 minutes to make sure the dolly and blankets were on the truck.So, I had to leave the key in the drop box and take the chance that Andrew would check it in properly.Im disappointed

I was just here yesterday renting a truck to move my stuff to my new apartment in Murrieta (Hallelujah!! Thank you Jesus!) and the customer service was awesome and the truck was super clean (smelled nice too) and the quality of the truck was as great as the service!

Are you kidding, these guys are the best, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, its a culture there that probably comes down from the top management. Ive been renting there for 10 years and had great experiences, even if we did hit a bump in the road so what, we dont live in a perfect world, so far everything has been right on.Much better than the other options in Temecula. Had an emergency one day, on the weekend had to use U haul, they raped our small farm for $375 for a 1 day rental, will never go back to them. They laughed and said that demand was high and that was their price.Go Penske!

Im disappointed in Penske Truck Rental of Temecula. I was charged two hours for a one hour rental. My actual receipt showed a total time of one hour and four minutes, BUT that included both the time it took for them to go get the truck and bring it around the front of the building for me and the time it took them to go check out the truck and check mileage after I brought it back (clearly those two things took more than four minutes). Even if the guy at the counter would have stopped the clock when I handed him the keys I would have been under one hour! Seems pretty petty to charge me for their time, not actual rental time. Im not worried about $7.50, but thought others should know this as Im sure this happens all the time at Penske (probably to boost revenues).

Terrible policy and customer service, we filled the gasoline to where it was when we returned the truck, but they still charged us $16 penalty on gasoline because it sounds like only they have the final say, not fair!
