Got the carnitas bowl w/ yams and veggies and it was delicious. They have a little store inside too. It reminds me of a restaurant+bodega in a weird way. Only down side is my wife and her fiend had a live bee in their salad. Maybe it was because of the flowers in the salad?
It was a cute place, very organic and fresh and natural type of place. Its in a strip mall, but it is still cute, nonetheless. Lots of items for sale from local farms and such. I had the pumpkin pancakes, they were very good. If you are into a food hall atmosphere, you will like it.
I would transplant this restaurant and store to my home town in a second. Delicious and healthy food, great coffee, service and comfortable atmosphere.
This place is the best breakfast spot in town. It’s not even close. Healthy, local, fresh ingredients. Amazing taste and creativity. The owners are amazing (3 sisters I believe - have experienced each of their kindness and customer service in different ways you don’t see other places).Desiree is awesome. She is the baker extraordinaire. She noticed I was trying to get a variety of colored donuts for my 4 year old daughter’s tea party...she said if I could wait 15 minutes she could make me additional other flavors to make it even better. What!!I’m a LIFER!
I live in Northern California but this is a must every time I’m in the IE. I come for the vegan/gluten free donuts but their regular menu has never disappointed. The coffee bar is a winner too! Best matcha latte I’ve found in the area. Highly recommend for those looking for GOOD food. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable too!
Fantastic Dining Experience1st, parking is limited, but we were lucky and found one immediately.2nd, you are not seated. Menus are off to the side and you order all your items, smoothies, coffee, pastry items too, at the counter when you order food. You also seat yourself and grab your utensils. On the weekends, their breakfast menu is extended until 3pm.This establishment cooks with locally grown, organic ingredients and offers a wide variety of dishes. From the time of placing our order to delivery of food took between 15 - 20 minutes. It came out hot, delicious and fresh!! Everything tasted AMAZING and my family and I are definitely coming back.Staff was attentive, friendly, courteous and engaged in polite conversation everytime they visited our table. We found our new breakfast place!
Love all the gluten free food and great coffee. Can busy at times but the staff is very helpful and kind.
Absolutely beautiful inside and the food was amazing and beautiful too. The workers were really kind and they had a lot of vegan options ♡ will definitely come back. The avo toast with veggies was to die for.
Good French toast (heavier than most Ive had though)
Took my mom out for lunch on a patio and stumbled upon this lovely little joint. She enjoyed a trio of tacos and I chowed down on a delicious pesto sandwich that knocked my socks off. I ended up leaving with some chuncks of honeycomb that are overflowing with honey. The food was spot on and service was super friendly! I saw that they had a coffee bar, and cant wait to come back and see what its all about.
Adorable place. Food was amazing, the shop was adorable.. every item has a story. Owner wS a delight to meet! I wish I had one at home!
This is my first time here. The food was pretty good. I had one of the classic 🥣 The only negative that it took about 30 min for the food to arrive and we were in a rush. But perhaps we were there at the end of their working hours. Overall, I would come back to try something else.
We had a delicious Valentines Day brunch here (I devoured the Chi Fa Bowl, but the French toast were also fun). What a lovely and kind group of people. The owner/manager interrupted her inventory to fetch me water. Our little girl accidentally left behind her stuffed bear animal, who in the meantime was well cared for, and treated to his own balloon. The food was yummy, in my technical opinion. We will be coming back often, thank you EAT for your hospitality!
Always have great time when eating here. The food is so good. Three people were in our party and everyone was pleased with their meal. The wait time is a little long but worth the wait.
Ended up here for brunch on a Sunday... the service was rather slow and felt ignored overall by our server. The food was good tasting but was VERY expensive for portion size and spent nearly $50 on breakfast for two people. Overall I was not very impressed and will not be going back. The price point for everything was just a bit too high and was annoyed by the $3 charge to add a few strips of bacon to a dish.*edits in* I cant figure out how to reply to the owners response below so Im clarifying some things in an edit - I stick by my 3/5 rating still. Yes, the food was good - it was a solid 4/5 for percieved freshness and flavor BUT the wait staff experience was a 2/5. I averaged the experiences to give the original 3/5 rating. The comment about the price of adding bacon was because comments like that are valuable to me as a reviewer and think it could be useful to others. This isnt about a side of bacon however. While I greatly respect the owners comments about living wages and wholeheartedly support this mission, I wish it had been communicated better to myself as I was a first time visitor of the restaurant. I might have had different expectations of the whole dining experience if I had been able to fully conceptualize why the prices are listed as they are currently. I do acknowledge that some of the partnering farms were listed on part of the menu but would have liked a more active explanation in case I skimmed passed something important.
A great place to visit for breakfast! Order at the counter and then grab a seat. We were a group of 4 on a Friday and had no trouble finding a table. Excellent food with locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. Huevos Rancheros were fantastic, as was the breakfast burrito and pumpkin pancakes. Great coffee. If you’re looking for a quality crowd pleasing breakfast spot while in Temecula, look no further! Lots of gluten free options and perhaps the best coffee cake we’ve ever had (gluten free to boot)!!
The baker does a phenomenal job. The gluten free pastries are not only creatively and fantastically decorated, but the are so delicious too! Keep up the great work Desiree!
If you’re a health nut, this is a fun place to go. Lots of organic items to choose from. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. They are also a coffee shop and bakery. So many things looked great to try. They offer free WiFi and many people treated this place just like Starbucks. Fun place to meet and hangout.
Came for two breakfast burritos ($12-14), I thought it was good, my partner didnt love the spinach wrap but isn’t typically drawn to healthier options. The side salad was nice but unexpected. They accidentally gave us marinara sauce instead of salsa but it was quickly corrected! A lot of gluten free and keto options so I didnt try the bakery- not sure if I’d like it or not.
It’s very sad actually, my husband and I loved this place! We would come here weekly, especially after church. They close at 3:00, we came in around 2:45, asked if they were still taking orders and they said, “yes!” We began ordering, the girl taking our order knew nothing about their new menu or items that were on it and the chefs themselves apparently didn’t know either. We ordered, waited about 10 minutes, then we were told what we ordered ran out. So, we ordered new food. We waited about 30 minutes, I walked inside (they are now closed, cleaning and few workers are to be found) to inquire about our food. Finally someone comes by starts wrapping up our food (after it’s been sitting there for who knows how long) and my burger was full of brown lettuce. The owner herself then comes over and asks how she can help me. I tell her we’ve been waiting for quite some time and there was issues with our original order and she tells me their wait time is 25-30 minutes. It is now 3:37, so math would tell you we’ve been waiting almost 55 minutes. I tell her I would like two drinks to compensate for our wait time, I’m pregnant and it’s 80 degrees outside. Her response to me is, “I’m a for profit business, I’m not in the business to give things away.” I said, “oh you’re the owner and this is how you treat your customers?”They forget our salads, I ask for them and she’s upset because I want salads in a separate container from my hot sandwiches, she says, “I’m not waisting my containers” and was upset I wanted dressing in a separate container for a to-go salad 🤷🏻♀️She then knocks one of the drinks I wanted over and breaks the bottle. I told her that was karma. And then tells me, I’ll compensate you with bakery items. I told her I don’t like her bakery items so she tells me, “you’re no longer allowed here.”Apparently the customer is at fault for the kitchen and how her business is ran.
First time here. The employee that helped me was so nice, welcoming, and very helpful. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. Housemade vanilla syrup iced coffee. Was so delicious 😋. This place has food too but I didnt get time to try. Will definitely return to try the food and for the coffee.
Options for everyone in the family. Great food, awesome presentation. Support small business and EAT at this amazing restaurant.
Great breakfast spot close to old town Temecula. Enjoyed the keto options and burritos. Definitely a place to stop by!
Food was good but prices were a bit on the higher side. Had the vegan huevos which was really tasty with a cappuccino which was good but a bit on the cold side. Staff was great and the place is pretty nice. Will definitely come back again. (Update 7-21-18) Came back and had the EAT Pizza – Mario mortadella, bacon, fontina cheese, pesto, tomato, basil pesto and farm egg which delicious. My wife had the West Coast Scramble which was good also. Good food. Will come back again to try out other dishes.
One of my favorite restaurants in Temecula. From brunch to lunch to holiday specials. It’s always our go to when we have time to chill and savor our meals, be it with my family or meetup with friends. For mornings with less time, a quick stop for yummy donuts are a treat.
Blah, blah, blah amazing everything. Heres the best part... After youre home and back to real life it doesnt feel like there is a brick in your gut. Yes, def ate a full serving and full but knowing the integrity behind the ingredients being farm fresh, sustainable, fair trade and lovely, it makes me feel ready to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Ill never stop loving E.A.T.!
I didnt eat here or anythingao I came speak for the food.. There was just so much going on in such a small place. Hardly any seating. So I left.
We enjoyed our lunch.
Always something interesting and the best place I can also include vegan friends
Expensive but Good clean organic food is worth any price. Eat has tasty food, PERIOD.
This place is so good!! I love it because they have so many choices of Gluten Free donuts and baked goods and theyre delicious!! I had never eaten there before so I just got the market salad with chicken and it didnt disappoint, so much food and so good. A little on the spendy side but for the quality of food youre getting its worth it. Probably not for the whole fam if youre on a budget but definitely worth splurging on for a lunch date. Cool atmosphere and outdoor seating overall I give it 5 stars!!
In between wine tastings, we stopped at E.A.T for lunch. The sandwiches are so good, and fresh. A great balance of yummy goodness and refreshing veggies.
1st time visit and we will DEFINITELY be back. Awesome little shop that caters to organic, paleo, keto gluten-free, non-gmo... The food was sooooo good! They forgot a salad and a side of jam but were very on top of the service. Request the wifi password because cell reception is poor. Totally 2 thumbs up!
Before I rant, I should say how good the food was, but I was a bit upset. Steak was large for a $20 breakfast ribeye, and tasted like one... The other stuff was organic and fresh. Hot chocolate was delicious. I wish I got a picture of the pancake stack before my hungry kids dug into it. Waitress and cook staff was quick and helpful.Unfortunately...We caught this place on a very busy Small-Business-Saturday (as you can see in one of the photos). There were two hostesses, one was walking around talking about raffle tickets (and thats about all she was doing), and the other was busy taking names, cleaning tables, and trying to please waiting parties--by herself. We were told that it would be a half hour wait, went back in to check where we were on the list after 45 mins to find we would be called as soon as the next 4person table was free, but waited another twenty mins with two young kids because the people (people that arrived AFTER us with the same size party and all adults) who complained about the wait got seated first, which I dont understand... They should have told them to wait their turn and, if they didnt like it, they could go somewhere else to eat. Its not like they were losing any business that day and at least the patient people would have been served sooner. Instead, they have at least one family who wont likely be back when a restaurant like Penfolds is in walking distance and has management who at least appears to care. If a manager was present at EAT, I couldnt tell who it was because we never saw anyone take charge or help the poor lone hostess who somehow maintained a smile while serving angry customers. All in all, the food was great. The wait staff was great. Even one of the hostesses was great. Management should have stepped up the game a little, especially because they knew it would be busy (they decorated with Small Business Saturdat balloons&banners).Sucks that we wont be back due to their need to assist inconsiderate customers first because it was actually good food.
The only reason Im not a regular is that I dont live in Temecula! on any visit to the area I always make a point of stopping in for breakfast or lunch. I always get extra donuts to take back to LA to share with my GF friends, as they are beyond delicious and better than most LA finds. in a sea of fast food, I appreciate that EAT makes good choices when it comes to supporting the local farming community and creating a diverse menu that has something for everyone while focusing on fresh and clean food. I believe EAT to be a gift to Temecula. Im left to wonder is LA ever going to be lucky enough to get an EAT?!
I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for awhile and today I finally had the chance to visit the restaurant and try their food. They have a variety of food. Good portions and healthy options too. I had their Tibetan bowl. It was delicious!! My sister in law had their BLAHT and she really enjoyed it. It was a good portion. She really liked their orange juice. One comments I have is that their coffee drinks are disgusting!! food was 5/5. Atmosphere was great, really great place. But their coffee drinks are disgusting!!I have few comments about the place, when I went to make an order there were a couple ahead of me, they took sometime to order which I understand but there was only her there taking orders!! behind me there were a good 10 people and I dont understand why there is only one person for that many people. When I ordered my food, which was the Tibetan bowl, the cashier said would you like soup or salad with it. I asked for her recommendation, she said the soup. So I went with her recommendation. My food came and there is no soup, 10 minutes later I asked one of the workers there about my soup. She told me that my food does not come with it. I said I dont know, Im not familiar with this place as its my first time, and that my food doesnt come with it. I mean thats fine if it doesnt but I was told something else. After few minutes she came back and said youre right, so it wasnt my mistake. When they brought my latte, it wasnt good at all!! What a waste of money to actually order any coffee here. I asked the server to see if they have anything to add to it. They added carmel and it still wasnt great. I was asked to make me mocha and i said ok, that was even worse. The barista said if I wanted almond milk with it which is fine but it was so gross!! to rate the coffee, I would give them 0/5!! I highly do not recommend their coffee!!! food is amazing but coffee, I would much rather go down the street to the press or havana kitchen for better coffee. Will go again and try their food and more dishes but drinks!! I would not recommend them.
I wish there was a place like this in Seattle! Every time I visit Temecula, Im headed to EAT to see what kind of goodies they are offering. Im not vegan or keto, but some of my favorite treats are just that. The donuts!! YUM! The menu is thoughtful and creative, the food is sourced locally, the coffee is bomb, smoothies are delish. Im just waiting for them to open more locations!
The food wasnt executed just right, although the quality of food and kind staff would have me go back. I will remember to have the protein bowl with the best grass fed burger patty and green goddess dressing. Delicious! Also, with the heat and sitting outside, in wine country... Have a bottle of wine, served in a metal restaurant style ice bucket.Cool!!
So cute inside! Lots options for vegan and plant based. Definitely going back and back!
This place feels so lavish and decadent for being purveyors of such wholesome foods. their kombuchas are amazing. they have the best sippy cup lids I have ever seen anywhere to bypass the great straw dilemma of 2018. and I spy with my little eye market price beef wellingtons on their holiday menu... Will probably have to check back in for that around Thanksgiving :-)
I have eaten at Eat Marketplace over 100 times. They are one of the only restaurants in Temecula that have truly organic heathy food choices that taste great. Alisa, Gabby, Grace, and everyone at the restaurant makes you feel like family. I have stage 4 cancer. This restaurant has helped me stay alive longer. My team of doctors told me to eat mostly vegetables and to avoid sugar. Also, they recommended I eat low to moderate complex carbs like beans and millet. Also, the Oncologist said to avoid simple carbs like bread as they turn to sugar and fuel the cancer. With my restrictive diet, the chefs always make the best tasting food. My favorite is the Make Your Own Bowl. Their dressings are delicious, especially the Green Goddess. The restaurant has vegan, vegetarian, keto, lectin free, gluten free options, etc. My doctors have me on a diet fairly close to Tom Bradys diet. I love this restaurant.
I love EAT Marketplace! My hands down favorite lunch spot whenever I am in Temecula. I have absolutely loved everything I have ordered there - so delicious, but I must admit, the SoCal Girl Samme is my very favorite - yummy! There is a barista there who is amazing - remembers just the way I like my cappuccino every single time - how great is that? The ambiance is wonderful, even given the occasional Harley Davidson driving by (I am an old hippy, so that sort of thing impresses me), the wait staff are terrific and I love the cute and unique items they have for sale inside the store. When you go, don’t forget to take a look at their selection of take home deli items and wines - I stock up on Hartley Farms Peach Jalapeño Jam and Olive Salad each time I go. I can’t recommend this place enough!Walk through Old Town first - you will be so full and content after eating at EAT you won’t want to walk!
I have been dining at EAT for a long time. I have a gluten intolerance and I work hard to eat clean. I am in an outside sales position and therefore Im always looking for a place to take my clients and or referral partners that is local and will be healthy. I absolutely LOVE the menu and highly recommend this fun spot to anyone out and about looking for a delicious and healthy dining experience. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you EAT for being different and for serving our community with a better dining option.
Breakfast was delicious and healthy! Loved it
Amazing place very friendly of allergies and will help you find something amazing to eat
Great experience highly recommended but pricey for many. Breakfast and lunch only.
Cute little cafe with good menu options and great tasting food
Fun and interesting place! Great variety of things are found here!
Delicious breakfast, coffee is amazing!! We go hear every time we visit wine country! A must stop!!
E.A.T. Marketplace catered the food for our wedding reception, and they were nothing short of spectacular. We had a small, 20-person reception (in response to COVID-19 restrictions) in my parent’s backyard. E.A.T. made our reception feel like a luxe private dining experience.Sean, the captain, introduced each course to the table, made sure everyone’s glass was full, and stayed late to clean up our rental china and flatware at the end of the night. We were thrilled to be taken care of so spectacularly. Darnice and Sofia, the on-site chef and assistant extraordinaire, helped ensure all of our food was hot, scrumptious and expertly plated. Traillan, E.A.T.’s catering manager, worked tirelessly to ensure the meal conformed to our dietary restrictions while providing the best experience for us and our guests.I cannot recommend E.A.T.’s food or their service enough. Our dinner, although smaller than initially imagined, was so special and intimate, and we are so grateful for how everything turned out. The meal was one of the best we’ve ever had and the whole experience considerably elevated our reception. To everyone else who assisted with this meal, thank you! We will remember our wedding dinner for years and years to come.E.A.T., we love you!
One of my favorite places to eat when I head north...
4 stars only for price food is excellent for you vegans, i have been looking for a good local vegan friendly establishment with a good amount of different vegan options on the menu besides your basic veggies. I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli very good, however the portion I think slightly on the small side for the price, plus it was on the light side I could probably still eat, maybe a side salad to go with or some type of side option maybe.
A delicious, comfortable eatery. You order from the menu, at the counter, and the meal is brought to your table. We were a group of ten, so we pushed a couple of tables together and were offered table service. Leah, the chef and owner, greeted us, and introduced our server, Chad, knew the menu like the back of his hand. He was friendly and offered helpful suggestions. About half the menu is conventional proteins and half is vegan. Gluten free is also available.I began my meal with a thick, rich black bean soup. The ample serving came with a slice of French bread toast, smothered in vegan butter.Next came the entree, Robertos Scramble, a stir-fry of fresh veggies, dribbled with liquid vegan cheese that firmed in a zig-zag pattern. Part of the serving bowl is spread with a deep green vegan pesto. The large serving is enough for two.My partner had the boneless Beef Ribs served over black beans and brown rice. She had the smile of contentment on her face.Free parking. Everything is wheelchair accessible. And, dont miss E.A.T.s baked, vegan donuts. Theyre as good, or maybe better than Whole Foods, my donut standard. The spice apple donut is worth every calorie.Parking is free. Everything is ADA compliant.
Amazing food, yummy coffee and great atmosphere. Definitely need to put this on your list to try when visiting Old Town Temecula!
We had the paleo cookie and donuts. They were so good. Excellent service.
Quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was fair I would say. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.
I ordered the Salted Carmel coffee but got a regular latte. Disappointed because I used to LOVE THIS SPECIALTY coffee here.
First visit was a slam-dunk! Food is farm fresh & healthy. Lots of options for picky eaters. Service is great and employees are happy to recommend their favorites and when asked they will tell you what others have ordered as they walked by our table to deliver to other tables. Employees love to work there and often find themselves eating there on their days off. Clean with a bright vibe. Coffee & smoothie counter offered the best latte I’ve ever had and I am a Starbucks girl. The avocado toast is so good!
Farm to Table food ultra fresh
I have to pick up my wine Thornton Winery...and this is a must stop. The hamburger with chorizo is the bomb! Organic, fresh, farm to table.
Love the healthy & locally sourced food options & kombucha bar, but they forgot my avocado :(
Best gluten free, dairy free, vegan, & paleo options!! Delicious food, donuts, pastries & coffee!! Love it!!Charlie gave us such great service! So friendly and on top of all our needs & requests.
Fresh organic foods
Nice place to eat at.
I always have such a great experience at EAT! The food is fantastic and so tasty! My favorite meals are the So Cal Girl and Tibetan Bowl, I definitely recommend. Bailey and Rai are always so kind and helpful. With the pandemic, it gets a little hectic but being patient and kind always ends with another successful visit. Thank you EAT and all of the great employees and chefs❤️
Horrible experience. I ordered their kids meal taco, when I got home & opened the container it was a huge disappointment. Very small cold corn tortilla, smaller than the palm of my hand with cold chicken pieces. No lettuce, no condiments. A very small side of salsa & very small fruit serving, I was charged $10 for this it’s a very unreasonable portion size & it was served cold. My child was very disappointed & I’ve been contacting management for the last 3-4 days now trying to get to a resolution. They’re avoiding me & refuse to do anything about this. I used to think this place was a great place to go to but now I will never return due to how they handled this situation. It’s very unfortunate that management is unable & unwilling to work with me on this issue. Huge disappointment!
Unique place to have breakfast
Avoid Saturday mornings since its extra busy from the farmers market next door but if you cant go any other time then just go and plan on being well fed!! You can sit outside with your pup and they have a pastry/ coffee shop inside with many healthy options to start your day!!
Great area to select a food place
