Very hostile staff specifically steven buchert (or something sounds like it) they said free diagnostic but I ended up paying 800$ for diagnostic test after which, they basically told me what I already knew( they advertised a free diagnostic) i was forced to pay to get my car back. I ended up fixing the car with less money than what the AAmco βdiagnosticβ test cost with different mechanic.
One of the mechanics (chris) was the most helpful guy Ive ever talked to in my life. He explained everything slow and simple and was very polite. He even got my dog some waterππ

Very poor service, hostile front desk, crazy expensive. they tricked me with free diagnostic that was followed by a charge of almost 1 k without even fixing the car.
My transmission was slipping so I took my car in at 9am. They called about 3 hrs. later and said it wasnt my transmission and wanted my permission to perform diagnostics. I didnt hear back so I called about an hour before they closed and was told they didnt know anything else yet. The next day they said after cleaning an oxygen sensor they drove it and it was my transmission. They wanted 975 to take it apart to tell what was wrong and then it would be another 1500-3500 to fix it. I went to pick my car up and pay for the diagnostic service. I had a coupon for 10% off any service that I gave them after my paperwork was ready and I was told I couldnt use it because I didnt give it to them earlier.I found a transmission shop in Riverside that is going to take my transmission apart and completely rebuild it for 2000.
Took my equinox in due to an engine stall and brief engine light coming on. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to repair the faulty part despite them being busy. Honestly they took away a lot of my worries and gave me peace of mind keeping me updated on what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Very professional and good price.

I was having a noise coming from what I thought was the transmission when axcellerating. Sounded familiar to when hitting passing gear. I dropped the truck off with Steve, and after test driving the vehicle, and taking a look at it, it was determined that the noise I was hearing was the air cleaner housing that had fallen loose and allowing excessive amounts of air causing the sound. Steve called and explained what was found and let me know that there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Steve was very professional and courteous and I will make sure people know how pleased I am with AAMCO and Steve in particular.Thank You for a Great Experience

Honest, professionals is the best description I can come up with for the guys at this shop! I came in expecting the worst possible news for my transmission, I dropped it off and told them to take their time and go through it and let me know the damage. A few days later, I recieved a call and was told there was nothing wrong besides low transmission fluid (which was the first thing I checked and recieved a false reading) and a loose hose fixture. Them holding true to their free diagnostic promise they topped off the fluid, tightened the hose and didnt charge for the 2 minute job. I even offered to compensate for their time. L9ng story short, this isnt the type of shop to make up erroneous claims of repairs or take advantage of customers. They have my business for every vehicle I own from here on!
I had my jeep towed in and got an honest evaluation and temporary repairs. I would not hesitate to recommend any service problem to the crew here....
Called David said to bring the truck in to have it check and leave it. I agreed. I arranged a ride home, took time off to drop it off before they closed. Arrived at 445 when they close at 5, I know it was cutting it close. Shop already locked the doors, no one around or answered the phone. Waste of my time, my rides time!!!!**Spoke with the manager Steve, he informed me that they close whenever that want to without notice or warning. He was very rude and did not want to help with the situation. Had me on speaker phone pounding at his computer which was very loud. He Did not apologize for the shop closing early and would not speak to the employee who closed up early. Had no intentions on fixing the situation.Lost all respect for this location and will never do business or recommend anyone!

Good experience, our Explorer transmission turned out fine .They ended up giving us apart for our radiator for free. The waiting room was clean and smelled good. I would really recommend them.
After taking my car to several other places, Aamco was the only place that actually fixed the problem. got my car back quick, it runs smooth, customer service is great. Will definitely be getting my car serviced here from now on. Happy happy customer.

They ripped off my mother. When they called her when she sent it in for a quote, they told her 3 options. 4100, 3100 or 950 to take apart. Okay, so we payed the 950, ended up needing to be rebuilt, so then he said it would be 3100 minues the 950 we already paid. Then when he calls to say its done, it turned into 3200, but would give her a 200 dollar coupon. Then when she goes to pick it up, all of a sudden the price changed again to over 3300. Why would you tell someone a price then change it twice? She was quoted at 3100 for a service, no new service was added. Are you going to tell me tax is 400 if a 200 coupon was applied and it still went to 3350? Oh and the best part, as she is driving it home, it doesnt want to go. Only one of the three things we sent it there for was fixed.
Staff is always rude and short and makes you feel incompetent. I took my car in for repairs, $2000 later my car was fixed. Ok, no problem, until my car started acting up again for the same reasons that it was fixed in the first place. Took it back in and was told it would be another $300. I asked why this wasnt included initially and was told that it wasnt a problem before, when it clearly was. Basically I expect when I pay thousands of dollars for an issue that it be resolved. Super bummed that it has come to this especially when I have taken my car here multiple times. There are literally hundreds of repair facilities, you would think that they would be a tad more accommodating or own up to the repairs that they made. Either way I am done with this repair facility. Good luck if you decide to take your car there.

Horrible Customer Service!I purchased lifetime warranty of the transmission. This is the first year for my yearly transmission check-up to so my husband went to the scheduled appointment. To his surprise, Shelly told him that there is no rack available so they can not accept the car. What is the use of booking an appointment? Shelly didnt even call me to cancel my appointment. I called her on the phone to check what is going on with the appointment, she is unbelievably rude!They just want me to pay extra for a lifetime warranty and then make it hard for me to have my yearly transmission check to void the warranty! Do not buy the Lifetime transmission Warranty! Its totally a rip-off!
No upsell... I knew what my mechanical problems were, but I didnβt tell. AAMCO found it and fixed it affordably.

Really surprised at the poor reviews. I had a great experience here. I bought a lemon to say the least and already had put in more money than I had originally paid for the car before I felt what felt like my transmission slipping. I took it to three other mechanics before bringing it to aamco the reason being that they all gave me conflicting diagnostics of what the problem is and how to address it. essentially all of them told me that they cannot guarantee to even fix the problem and possibly I need a new transmission. the gentleman here did the most thorough inspection out of all of the other mechanics I want to. they suggested flushing out the transmission and replacing the filter but if that did not fix the issue the money that I spent towards that would be credited to whatever the repair would be needed this is more than any of the other places offered me so I decided to go with Aamco .am I ever happy I did .my car runs like new Im so happy and saved a whole bunch of money thank you Aamco!
Horrible horrible horrible! !!! customer service sucked. said my transmission would be like brand new after $3,100. within 6 months the oil was completely gone, had them check it and they said nothing was wrong with it. they will do whatever it takes to take your money and let the warranty run out so they dont have to do any labor for free.

I am not happy. This my second transmission from aamco, the fist one I paid for needed a lot of things with the transmission. I trusted them paid it. 2600.00 dollars plus. Then that transmission went out . Not more the oh,I will say 9 month and the one cost me another 2600.00 plus. Let me add the fort one took thee week to complete. The second one about a month. Why aamco couldnt take it to another shopaamco an get it done.you make the customers happy I dont know. I thought the transmission problems was over but no. This one leaks so everyday I have to check and add fluid to it. I had it in ones to chekhov for leaks, that took two weeks. But it still leaking. Call them a bought this. Now the are still to busy to fix it call back. So here I set with a leaking transmission. So if this get to management or someone at a. Aamco shop and you can help.please help. Maybe I should call the radio station I heard you on tell Conway on KFI AM 640 see what he thinks.

Would not give an estimate on cost for a clutch replacement. Evasive and unhelpful on the phone. If you know what you need better to go with someone that is not trying to rope you in.
My transmission problem on my Jeep turned out to be minor, after I was told I needed a new one at the dealer,Very honest the solenoid cost like $700 and the dealer wanted over $3,000, everythings working good so far

They left a part on done . left C if I can find pic, it in my iPhone cant transfer ..I call them they said take to any amco to fix,, no sorry .. Remember its a business .. Had a few problems with warrantee service after rebuild two years ago. Manager & shop lead were argumentative, but after leaving a bad review, the owner Gordon called and had me take car to his other Corona AAMCO shop and gave me a rental vehicle. After duplicating the problem and trying to repair, they did a complete rebuild and it works perfectly now. Got home and an apparantly unrelated cooling leak happened. They towed it back and fixed it free of charge. Gordon went above and beyond to take care of me, just dont go to his temecula shop, go to his corona shop instead. The corona manager adrian was a lot friendlier.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK... Short story... Said my trans. was bad and gunna cost $3100-$3800 on my Altima (well it was Bad). said they called the dealer and the dealer said it was out of warrenty.(dont know which one/or if they did call... dont care not the point) WELL.... every single dealer in a 100mi. radius i called in the area were well aware The Nissan CVT transmission(& its on the NISSAN website) warrenty was doubled to 10yr, 120,000mi. (dealers i called said they should and would know being such a large chain) Went to the dealership ... btw FREE!!! INTEGRITY AAMCO Intergrity!! i know you need buisness but im in the customer service buisness too and if i scamed someone and pled ignorance the tax payers would have my house and my arse. They had my truck for three days and at the end of day 3 i picked up the truck and was charged $159 for it being diagnosed, but they only gave me the codes that you get for free or off my personal scanner. they told my wife day 1 they would know what was wrong. basically i got charged $150 for them to let my truck sit at there shop.
Well Ill be back when its time! It wasnt my transmission for my 2004 F-150. They helped pin point my problem and headed me in the right direction for repairs. Thanks AAMCO Temecula
