I’m sorry to have to write this as I respect local business owners and to be honest the owner here was really nice and tried to take good care of me but over 3000$ later 3 visits the problems weren’t ever resolved... if fact when I got the car back the 2nd time it was missing covers in the engine compartment... as much as I wish I could give a good review I can’t unfortunately... my car might have been (to be fair) out of their league... it was a high performance car with tons of aftermarket parts that they might not be suited for fixing... but in good faith I had to let others know before you take your car here... I believe they can manage basic problems but more technical work should probably be taken somewhere else

Went in for an oil change and diagnostics. For the amount I paid, no courtesy car wash! Will go to my actual dealer for a few more dollars next time.
What a dear man Peter was to me! Like a father-figure with a caring manner, and extremely helpful advice concerning my car... And life! I showed up at his shop after a bad situation that meant I needed some immediate work done on my car in a part of town I had never been in. Peter and his crew looked at the car, diagnosed the problem, reviewed their plan with me before performing any work, gave me a clear and fair quote, and had the car fixed within 24 hours. What a blessing he and his wife are. I wish them always the best, and look forward to visiting them again!

Peter is a very honest person I took my car to the dealer had check engine light problem spent a few hundred dollars an they did not fix anything I was able to get my money back I took my car to Peter’s Techstar shop he found the problem and fixed recently he replaced my ac compresor and did a great job I highly recommend this place very honest people there👍

Peter is the most down to earth person, honest, trustworthy and reliable. When my car needed a new starter he was more then co-operative when I had brought him the wrong one, he made sure that the car would get repaired with care. I have since had other repairs fixed here. I have taken my BMW to TechStar twice now and both experiences were excellent. Not only is their customer service exceptional; their pricing is not outrageous. I sent my brother to get my car looked at they had the mechanic call me and explain everything wrong he said what did I want to pay to get fixed now since it was a lot of work needed I said whatever it takes to make the check engine light go off so i could pass smog is important i havent been to the shop yet so i didnt see the sign saying how when they do work its no guarantee for the light to be off afterwards I got my car and paid and they told me to wait until I put some miles on it before the smog and the next day the light came back on and they said it wont pass the smog test I had already had alot of work done at other places I feel like they wasted my time and money and I am in the same situation I was in before I came to them I called to talk to the manager Peter he was rude wouldnt even let me explain the situation they said they dont have a corporate office I wish I never wasted my time there waste of time and money I called again a female answered I asked to speak with the mechanic she said they dont let the mechanic talk to customers on the phone when he is the first person I spoke with over the phone just thought that I should add after the light came back on they asked me to bring it back up there they looked at it didnt fix anything and I called to complain again they told me to bring it back so they could look at it again and I decided why bring it back and keep wasting my time if they are not going to fix it or refund then I come leave a review the female replies with we told you to bring it back which I already did once. I wish I never wasted my money expecting something that didnt happen. And I am a 100 percent disabled veteran and feel like this was horrible customer service.
I first took my 2008 328i to Peter after getting a ridiculous estimate from the local dealer. He saved me thousands by being honest. So I returned with my 2004 325i and he demonstrated the same treatment. Honesty integrity and good pricing (especially when driving euro cars) is always appreciated. Long story short, I took my 2017 Mercedes Benz in for a oil change with absolutely no problems with the car. After being serviced at techstar my sunroof wouldnt open. I brought the car back and they already knew what the problem was just by looking at it. I was told by Brenden it would cost $2000.00 to fix. They broke my sunroof and thought I was to stupid to know it was them. Thankfully my warranty covers it and the dealership is taking care of it.

I dont live in Temecula, but I just happened to run into some car trouble while passing through the area and needed to take my car in. Peter and Johanna are very honest and trustworthy. They made me feel very comfortable and were of great assistance.
Im a happy first time customer. Took my BMW 328i in for brake fluid service; I also noticed a slight radiator leak. Peter had my brake fluid service done and radiator replaced by the next day! I asked them to also check out the car, since I just bought it used. Other places might have considered that request a blank check. Peter said things looks really good, topped off the differential fluid and told me that I should probably get the differential seals replaced next time I come in. What auto repair place tells you to do something next time instead of trying to convince you to do it now? Parts and labor were very reasonable and my car was returned to me with no mechanic prints (one of my biggest pet peeves). Startech has won my business!

Its nice to have an auto repair business who does outstanding work, I drive a 99 jaguar XK8, cant and wont just take it anywhere for repair, I can truly depend on receiving quality work at a fair price with this company.
Well this was not a good experience at all. I stopped by the shop and spoke with Peter and Johana whom are both very nice sincere people, i wanted to get a price on installing some eurethane bushings on my BMW X5. They gave me a good fair price, Peter said to call and make an appointment when i get ny parts in. I got my parts about a week later and called Techstar to make an appointment. Johana answered the phone and we set up for me to do an early drop-off Wednesday July 18th at 630 AM since i start work at 7 am at the Penske truck rental about 2 miles away. Johana said that way i wouldnt have to wait around while its done. I dropped my X5 off and walked the 2 miles to work expecting and excited to have my vehicle in top running form again as the BMW bushings only last about 6 months. I called Peter at 9 AM to confirm the receipt of my key from the early bird drop-off, he said he got it and would call me if any questions. Well he never called so i assumed the car was done at 12 PM when i got off i walked the 2 miles back to the shop only to be greeted by Peter saying that they couldnt do the job because of being too busy in the shop and he didnt know that his wife gave me an appointment ???????????? I said to Peter that i walked all the way back and forth, he did apologize but that doesnt help me. I was given an appointment which should have been honored, but because they are obviously not an organized shop i was sorely i might add inconvienced. Its not so much the 4 miles i walked as the disregard for appointments made and a lack of proper scheduling. Again they are very nice people but i feel slighted and am going back to Temecula European Auto where it will cost me $105 more to get the work done 10 days from now when it should have been done yesterday. IO know i will not have any scheduling issues there.Thanks Techstar, NOT HAPPY AT ALL
I just purchased a 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster and needed brakes, oil change, and some minor body repairs. Based on the web reviews, I chose Techstar and was delighted to see the the very positive web reviews referencing the Family atmosphere created by owners Peter and Johanna, were absolutely true. It is rare to do business with the auto industry and be treated not only so professionally, but so warmly and personally. Unlike most auto mechanics, Techstar is a very clean and well run shop, with happy employees who take after the owners!Not only did Techstar do a great job on my necessary mechanical work, but Owners Peter and Johanna took the time to converse with my Wife and I, sharing some of their very interesting and diverse life story.
