I bought a 2019 Yamaha XSR900 off Cycle trader from Tamps Bay Power sports. They were very professional. I flew from Kentucky to Tampa to pick it up and drove it back home 850 miles. Mark the salesman was great as was John the manager and the product and service department. They rigged up a charger for my phone for GPS, gave me a deal on riding gear to get back and the experience was very favorable. I have zero complaints about the whole ordeal. just a great transaction overall. I would definitely recommend them.

Dropped off my side by side for a check engine light. Service writer told me I had 200 hours on it and was due for a major service. I was surprised to hear that so I cherry picked the items I could afford to do now. Check engine light was supposedly due to bad spark plugs but tech noted due to dirty airfilter. Does this look dirty? Then I go to pick it up and it turns out my side by side only had 34 hours on it. The service writer misread my odometer miles for hours. The shop still made me pay for all services done and didnt offer me even a discount or sorry. I wont be back.

From out of town and Needed a last minute brake service on my Dirtbike before heading to Croom and the service writer (Star) took good care of me and the service performed on the bike was excellent. Thanks guys 😎

The sales team here is awesome chad is a great sales manger and did everything to get me into the vehicle that I wanted. Also David is a sales person and he did a great job working on getting everything ready and all the paper work done for me. These people are awesome if you want great customer service and deal with some of the best people around come here.

I do not recommend buying a vehicle from here or letting them run your credit. I let them run my credit and I received a Honda credit card in the mail. They were not up front about the fact that they were signing me up for a credit card by allowing them to see if Id be approved to finance part of a potential purchase.When I asked for a price sheet breakdown of my quote they said its against their store policy because it makes it to easy to shop around. They dont want to make a deal and they come across as dishonest. I was concerned about dropping a new bike as a first time rider and the sales person told me oh, Ive never dropped a bike and Ive been riding for many years. I wouldnt worry about it. Literally 5 minutes prior another guy helping me buy some gear said anyone who tells you theyve never dropped a bike hasnt ridden long or is a liar. Its the second one in this case.They have super helpful staff to sell you gear, very knowledgeable and helpful. If theyre willing to work with you on the price of the gear, Id only recommend getting that here. Stay away from buying or financing here.

They refused to help me because I wanted to buy an ATV that I could use until I can give it to my daughter once she gets older once they found out that my daughter is 4 years old they refused to help me because they said it was for her I specifically told every sales person that I spoke to that it was for me and they kept saying that I said it was for her I told them I planned to give it to my daughter in the future when she gets older and they refused to help me it was for me the bike is for me but its okay Ill take my business elsewhere they treat you like your a liar and I was very clear since I walked in.im sure they will reply with its against the law and I again will state I was buying it for ME not my daughter if you misunderstand what I was very clear in explaining then no worries.very unprofessional Im glad I didnt spend my money here

They gave me a price for some wave runners over the phone. At that price I said Id take 2 and gave a thousand dollar deposit over the phone.When I went to Tampa Bay PowerSports to pay for the Seadoos they added on $2,000 for freight fees, $1,400 for set up fees and another $800 in dealer fees. I fully understand that there will be freight fees and other charges but $4,400 higher than the price I was quoted is pretty ridiculous!! Most places will give you the out the door cost and not surprise you when you get there. Love my Jet Skis but dont like that I feel cheated!!! I do have to add, I had a new sales guy, and Chad the Manager said this is not the normal way they run things.

I called Tampa Bay powersports to see if they have a particular sea doo in stock. I notified them that I was 45 minutes away but wanted to purchase the only one they had available. Upon arriving at the store we were informed that Brian the gentleman I spoke to on the phone would be with us in a moment. However, Kyle one of the sales managers showed us the ski and spoke to my credit union to confirm details about the ski and we again told them we were going to buy it. We sat down with Brian and began the paperwork to purchase. Then we were told the ski just sold we were baffled because how can this be if we are in the process of buying it. He stated their bigger central Florida store just took a deposit on it. We asked how this is even possible if we are literally doing the paperwork to buy it. The manager informed us that once a deposit was placed it is considered sold. We were never even offered to put a deposit down or explained that this could still happen even when you are in the middle of purchasing it. Also, multiple times throughout our visit we were asked to use their in house financing. I declined because I had financing through my financial institution. When I told them that they will cover x amount and I will be paying the difference and told them again that I would not be using their financing that is when we were told it sold The manager went on to say if you want to leave a deposit when we get one in well call you. It could be a month, it could be several. I informed him that after what I just experienced I would never purchase anything from them.
