The name of the company when you call is “Heatwave” not red carpet.Tried to get someone out to fix the AC for a tenant. I gave them two numbers for the tenant and they had my number. The time passes, they left a voicemail and text with the tenant but when the tenant called back, they got no response. No one called me. After an hour passed beyond the time the tech was supposed to come, I called again and was told the tech went home because the tenant didn’t answer. Issue is, the tenant did call and no one answered. No one from this company called me. When I asked why I didn’t get a call, I was told because my number “fell out of the system” when I gave the tenants numbers.Don’t count on this company if your ac is out.
Ted at Red Carpet Air is fantastic. We bought a house at the beginning of last year 2016. It is now 2017 and, unfortunately for us, the inspector never told us how bad the HVAC system was, nor that we had mold in the system outside the house and in the duct work. Black mold dust was being sprayed all over the house. We would clean and the next day all back again. We were getting sick with cold like symptoms. It wasnt the type of mold that could do real harm, but really is any mold good? Ted at Red Carpet Air replaced our mold ridden unit, installed two lights to prevent mold build up outside and inside the duct work, cleaned the duct work, and used a new system to seal our duct work so that moisture cannot enter, mold cannot re-grow and less cool air will escape the duct work. I feel like my house is no long sick. We are no longer feeling sick. All this work was performed at a very reasonable cost too! Plus, Ted kept us informed on all work every step of the way! He knew how upset we were and he worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend his service for any of the above needs. He will be my go to person for all future maintenance and if I buy a new house down the line Red Carpet Air will be my go to company. Red Carpet Air has serviced my home for some time and they are always professional and get the job done right. I was impressed that even though theyre a Tampa company they work all the way down in Riverview. Glad to have a professional company and we highly recommend them.Had them back out to install their new Aeroseal product that secured my duct work from the inside and the dust is almost completely eliminated in only a couple of days. We recently needed to have all our duct work replaced due to mold. We had a strange smell coming from the vents, so we were initially trying to find a company to clean them. When Red Carpet Air came out and realized the extent of the damage to the air ducts, the only option without causing more damage was to have everything replaced.I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the initial estimate/inspection, to the completion of the replacement, everyone was professional, knowledgable, hard working, polite and spent a considerable amount of time explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable with what would be done.They arrived on time and did not stop working from the moment they arrived. We have an older home, and the duct work we had was from when the house was built. Darrell and his team spent extra time and went above and beyond to get the job done right. I have seriously never had a company come out that Ive been more impressed with. They are a smaller family owned company, and work hard to train their employees and believe me, it shows.My kids all have allergies, and I am so thankful Jacob saw what a big problem this was when he came out to inspect the ducts. If it hadnt been caught we would all still be breathing in air that was running through filthy ducts continuously. We have had other companies come out in the past, and none picked up on the problem.Our AC now runs so much more efficiently and has reduced the humidity in our house as well. Thankfully the ways these newer ducts are made, we no longer have to worry about having this problem again. Especially since the job was done right. They even vacuumed inside/raked outside when they were done and left no mess behind.We are so pleased with the finished product and will definitely be using Red Carpet Air in the future.
My AC went out at 1 am...called them and they were able to get a repair person out to me by 9am!! Andrew was my tech and he did a phenomenal job. Extremely courteous and professional!! My Ac was back up and running the same day and at a reasonable price. So glad I called and will definitely make them my go to AC service company for any future AC needs
Red Carpet Air replaced my A/C system last year and did an excellent job. They came out today for a yearly check which they do free of charge. Juan came to service my AC units. He was very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. As he was doing the inspection he took the time to explain to me how things should work and how my unit was performing. He was very respectful of me and my house and very thorough in his inspection. He spent almost 3 hours at my house. It was overall a very pleasant experience.
Owner installed new air conditioning for 6300.00.Then broke first night.Now ha e. Ew guy over repairing all his mistakes.Went out of business 2 weeks later.Worst burn job of my life.Dont do any business affiliated with red carpet.The worst.

Would HIGHLY recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs. I was in a jam and needed to schedule an AC inspection ASAP. Not only were they able to fit me in next day, but their prices were so reasonable. Juan exceeded my expectations. Not only was he on time, but the quality of service and knowledge he provided was outstanding. He truly made the whole process painless and took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on every step of the way.
We had issue with out 15 year old air conditioning system and we contacted Red Carpet Air for service. They could not have been nicer or professional. The came out on a Sunday to check out our system and we decided that it was time to replace the unit instead of patching up our old unit. They were able to set up installation of the new unit for the next day. They arrived to install the new unit and I was further pleased at the work performed. Our installer, Richard S., could not have been better. His attention to detail was bar none. They installed both an inside and outside unit quickly and cleaned up after they were done. A few days later, they came back to top off the system and to make sure everything was working properly. When you spend a lot of money on a full system replacement, it can be a little scary. They made it a very painless process.
The owner came out today to install my new ac and he did such a wonderful job, he really pays attention to everything and works so hard at what he does. the pricing was really good for all he did, I had just bought this house two months ago and had inspections done but no one told me that the ac was a potential fire hazard til one of red carpet ac guys came out to install a new thermostat and while trying to that he looked closer and found that all the wiring and the air handler inside was ready to burst into flames this winter so Im very grateful to them for finding this now and saving me and my family from a fiery death. Overall, my experience thus far with Red Carpet Air has been spiritually uplifting and unique due to the excellent staff, ownership and their approach to conducting business.I had scheduled an appointment with Red Carpet Air to come out to our home in NPR to perform a maintenance tune up because 1) it was time for this to be done and 2) the water in the drain line had back up causing the float switch to trip.Juan C, was the HVAC Technician that came out to service our unit. I called red carpet around 6:30 pm...which is already after hours. My estimated time of arrival was between 9 and 11 pm. Juan arrived at 7:20 pm not only to satisfy his people but to represent his amazing team and company! He came in with determination and a whole lot of kindness, humblenesss and lots of laughs. Red Carpet Air is a very good company to deal with. They are efficient, customer service oriented, quick to respond and service their units. I had a new system installed by them.Also on this visit their technician, Juan Caceres, serviced my unit when the A/C condenser was seriously clogged up. He not only cleared the clogged line but went above and beyond by inspecting the other items and educating me on how the unit is designed to operate and ways to make it run more efficiently.
Their technician Beau came out an hour earlier than the estimated time and did a great job on the yearly maintenance on our AC unit. He explained everything as he was doing it and made sure to answer any questions I had. Great service.

Bryan was my service tech. He came out at the scheduled time so we didnt have to wait hours on end like Ive had to with other companies. He called when he was on his way and I received a text & email from the company as soon as we hung up. Bryan was so kind, very knowledgeable and was able to get the part we needed the very next day (which was a Saturday btw)!! He also took the time to clean the entire system while he was replacing the broken component. On top of the great service they were even able to work with me by splitting the payment into 2 so I could make it through to my next paycheck. I had issues with my central air in a home that I purchased less than a year ago. I had 5 different companies come to my house for an inspection and quote. Ted and Red Carpet Air were by far the company for me. They were very knowledgeable and patient as I had many questions. They had the best finance options and were very competitively priced. The installers were fast, efficient, and willing to work with my very unique schedule. Ted was even available via text throughout the process. As a new home owner I wish every service contractor worked the way Red Carpet does.

Not only was Kris (the estimate guy) awesome, but Ted spent the day THE VERY NEXT DAY installing and informing me of the new units being installed. I googled a ton of cheap quotes and companies and this service is unbeatable....as a matter of fact they welcome the idea of price matching. I would not use this company but my warranty company sent them out on the service call for A/C not working. I am the landlord of this property and got a call from the technician that there was mold in the unit and air handler he went on to explain how he fixed the cooling problem for now but because of the great amount of mold I had two options: 1 was to clean all parts free of mold for $2300 Option: 2 was replace all with new which of coarse what he recommended for a great price of $7000 but he would give me a $ 1200 discount if I didnt tell my warranty company because they wont cover mold anyway, so he thought he was helping me. So I called another company to come out and give me a estimate on everything Red Carpet told me about the excessive mold and got different feedback, his estimate was there was mold but nothing unusual for Florida standards so I they cleaned all parts from A/C unit and air handler and air duct cleaning for much less than Red Carpets estimate. So I recommend you DO NOT use this company they are not looking out for the best interest of there customers.Louis Reza

I had really good experience with Red Carpet Air and especially with Dylan. He took time to examine the AC compressor issue we were having and explained what repair was needed. They are definitely highly-trained and very competent professions. They also explained how my 13-year old, 12-SEER Trane AC unit was no longer running as efficiently and costing me a lot on my electric bill. They gave me a great quote, in the event I decide to replace/upgrade my AC unit. I would definitely suggest at least having them check your system if you are having issues--or looking to replace your existing unit.

There are not enough words to express how fantastic Red Carpet Air is. My system was 11 years old and although throughout the 11 years I had no problems with it (had it serviced twice a year), the compressor was starting to go bad so the company servicing it quoted me a price on a new compressor and a new unit. I decided to get other quotes. Did a Google search and put in info on what I was looking for with a site that does searches for companies in my area. Within 10 minutes I received a call from Ted with Red Carpet Air and within one hour he was at my house. He confirmed my compressor was going bad so quoted me a price for a new one and also a new unit. His quote for a new compressor was lower than the other but his price for a new unit was amazingly so much lower. I am a retired person on a fixed income and his quote was not only very low but the extras he added with no charge to make sure my system would perform to its fullest potential were amazing. I chose a new unit and his team came out on the scheduled day and time. What a great team he has!! They were very professional, friendly and high quality work ethics. Ted, who is the owner, came out to see how things were going and answered any questions or concerns I had. He explained everything in detail. They do what they say they are going to do and then some. Juan came out to evaluate the leakage from my air handler. The company that put it diagnosed a very expressive problem that my warranty wouldnt cover. Juan gave me a very professional diagnostic that opposed the other companys diagnosis. He offered me a much more affordable fix for my unit.I bought a VIP membership that covered todays service call.

So I came home from work one day only to find my AC pretty much died. Not having any knowledge of a reliable AC service I looked through the coupon mailers and called a few companies long story short I must have gotten the luck of the draw because I have heard a ton of horror stories about AC repair and sales but Kris of Red Carpet Air took absolute care of me and my family. When I purchased my home a couple of years ago the inspector told me I would probably have to replace my AC soon so we held on as long as we could. Kris went over a bunch of options and not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me anything. I had a genuine feeling that he just wanted to help. He put all options on the table and let me make the decision and I decided to go with a new unit. I feel like I made the best decision because of the amount of added savings and the sense of security with the 10 year warranty plan it was a win win situation. The unit was installed the next day and as promised I came home a to a cool house and a happy family. Jeremy was at my home recently, (He literally rolled out the Red Carpet) for us.We had 2 other Co. out and they said I had to replace the whole system and its only 8 yrs. old. Jeremy did a full check up and it turned out to be only a capacitor causing the problem. Instead of thousands of dollars I only spent a couple hundred. Thanks to such complete Honesty and Professionalism when we do have to replace, We will not hesitate to call them!!!

The 1st technician came out and kept telling us we needed a new unit. When we said no our unit is less than 10 years old he did further testing and said we were 2.5 pounds low on Freon but he could not find a leak. Which he also told us was the only way our unit would be low on Freon. Before the tech left we were asking him why is our unit still blowing hot air. He said it could take HOURS for the unit to cool the house.The next morning I called and they sent out another tech and of course as soon as he arrived he insisted we needed a new unit because ours was so old. But after a little testing he said we could clean the coils and fan and it might help but he could not give any guarantee but would be happy to charge us 600.00 for the cleaning and 1200.00 for a uv light to control mold.After everything we did not have any confidence in Red Carpet air so we called another company and this company said our switch board was bad and replaced it for 150.00. Now our air is blowing ice cold air and working like new.I do not recommend anyone calling red carpet air unless you are looking to replace your unit because they do not fix units only try and sell you a new one.
I met Kris while he was working next door to me. Very polite and and great knowledge of your companys products. I may be putting my home up for sale and told Kris. Told him I would be looking to possibly upgrade my unit later this summer. He gave me a quote with payment options. When I am ready to upgrade my unit, I will certainly call Red Carpet Air and specifically ask for Kris.

Ted Evans was there for installation & has been back twice since then ; always polite, knowledgeable & helpful (even moving heavy dog gates around) . He concluded I had a defective thermostat & brought a fancy new one with wonderful features that the other one did not have. Wish he lived next door !
Chris was great and extremely helpful, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I knew he was being upfront and trying to assist us in our time of AC/HVAC crazy! He was great and I will use him and red carpet again.
My experience with Red Carpet Air has been mixed. Some of the techs they send out are inexperienced and overly salesy, constantly trying to sell me things I dont need during the scheduled A/C maintenance visits. If that had been the case every time, I probably would have given them a lower rating.However, since Adam Westreich came out, my opinion has changed. As long as they keep Adam on the team, Ill keep using them. Adam is very knowledgeable and did a great job taking care of some issues Ive been having with my air handler. He wasnt pushy but explained everything that I needed and got the job done quickly. They also have another great tech named Beau who came out last year.If youre going to use Red Carpet, make sure you request a tech that you like. Chances are youll get a few who dont know anything other than which products theyre supposed to be pushing that month.
I manage a large number of beach properties and when a guest on vacation need AC there is no tomorrrow.. so it’s the middle of the evening and another company was a now show.. Dennis the technician at Red Carpet Air not only was the first to respond to my request for emergency AC to help he sent a picture and info and phone number so I could talk with him directly! He also gave me the estimate time of arrival so I could show the guest I was being proactive! And this was close to 10 at night when I needed help! HANDS DOWN for Dennis! He was awesome and because of him the company has earned my business my tenant is happy and the price was almost too good to be true- it’s obvoisly the company and Dennis like long term relationships and so they have a new customer in me.. no show are a no go with Red Carpet Air and that means more than words can say in my book. Thank you Dennis.
Tech Chris wouldnt let my wife and I double check our home warranty then started yelling at my wife inside of my home. My wife was on hold with the warranty company to see what was covered and what we had to pay. I was at work and talked to him over the phone telling him they would get paid, but we wanted to make sure what was in the policy for the specific work. As I listened to him over the phone, he screamed at my wife telling her he wasnt going to wait around while she was on hold with the warranty company, then said we were breaching our contract. He then said we were supposed to pay the service fee prior to him doing any work, so we were in breach of contract (when he did the work without asking for any payment prior).I called the owner who was very sympathetic and tried to make the situation better by offering a free maintenance service, which I refused. I would still not recommend this company based on how this employee acted. It shows a lack of training and customer service. If the owner terminates that employee, I would reconsider.Prior to that debacle, the tech tried to sell us several other services, I explained that I have a friend in the industry and would talk to him before we invested any money into our current system. He then told his boss that I was refusing to pay. He told him I was going to have a friend do the work. A COMPLETE LIE. My friend lives in Indianapolis.I also asked the tech to give my wife a card while he was at our home, he refused. I asked for his last name, he refused. In my home; he refused to identify himself and yelled at my wife. I wish I were home when it all happened.
Jacob was friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and what was wrong with the AC so I wasnt left in the dark. I told him I would refer Red Carpet to friends and clients. I was impressed.

Adam Westreich is a rockstar. After 2 other companies and an independent 3rd, neutral company required by our home warranty company could not sort out our a/c problem, Adam did. We had been without a/c for 5days in the hottest September on record and Adam not only fixed our issue, but was able to assist with the home warranty consultation. Thanks, Adam!!
We recently were referred to Red Carpet Air through our home warrantycompany. As it turned out, we did not go through our company, and decided to use Red Carpet Air anyway. Dylan gave us a fair price and some extras too! He was very professional and courteous and his sidekick John too. The installer, George, was knowledgeable, curteous, and answered our questions and concerns. Weve had the new a/c unit just installed and are hoping it will be what was promised. My air conditioning problems had been misdiagnosed by two previous service companies. Finally this company was able to correctly diagnose the problem, provide sound pricing which took advantage of all available discounts (e.g., TECO incentives, manufacturer promotions). Best of all the installation was done quickly, respectful to my property and carefully. At all times I felt the advice was sound, complete, and ethical. The conduct of the employees was always respectful.
Boe arrived on time today for a VIP inspection. Great customer service, and very thorough on explaining the overall condition of our new unit.I highly recommended Red Carpet AC to future customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They charged us 3100.00 for a UV sterilizer which the actual price was 1200.00. Then told us they completely cleaned the ducts and coils. I arrived less than a week later. Ducts where never cleaned and coils where so packed that the next company I hired said they had no been cleaned in over a year. They did this to a couple that is over 80. I consider this fraud, check out what AARP has to say about this company. Let me add to this, before you call this company, look at there fake reviews. Everyone that reviews this company only has 1 to 3 reviews....that is very unlikely unless coached by the company. To the owner, we spoke and you did nothing. I also spoke to AARP and let them know your MO. AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Look at the reviews, not one has more than 3 reviews. These are not real, owner pays for 5 star reviews.

I cant say enough good things about my experience. We made the mistake of letting a handyman install an AC unit at our rental property 5 years ago and were left in a bind. Everything broke at once and the the warranty was never registered so we thought we would be stuck buying a new unit out of pocket. Adam came out quickly assessed the problem and came up with an affordable solution which we were able to finance on the spot so we didnt have to come out of pocket. He even stayed late to make sure the unit was working fine before leaving. On top of it all the repairs he made will save us $100 a month on the electric bill. You have a new customer for life. Our AC went out in the middle of the night while family was in town. I called Red Carpet Air at 8 am and Tim, our technician, was there by 11:30 a.m. Tim was very knowledgable and took several pictures to let us know what was going on. We were extremely happy with the price and quality of service. We have had other companies that have tried to rip us off in the past with technicians that were not experienced and unable to answer simple HVAC questions without calling their boss. After several bad experiences we are relieved to find a good company that services St. Pete!
If you call this company, which I do not recommend, please get a second quote before allowing them to do any work. I received a second quote from a reputable air conditioning company and it saved me thousands of dollars.
