I have used Alert Air (Now called Cool Today) for many years now. They are honest, reliable and have fair pricing. Other companies will try to gouge you on pricing as their techs may be on commission. Another company quoted twice what Cool Today charged as they were trying to sell unnecessary services. Cool Today is a rare find in this business and they are my go-to company for these services.

First I would like to say that Paul, Marquis, Cole, Brian Oscar, I would give all these guys five stars. All of these guys were courteous and professional. However, when the job was completed and inspected, it took 3 calls before I was able to get an appointment to put on the cover plate. However, the main reason I only gave 4 stars is because the check I wrote for the deposit was misplaced. WhenThe check had not cleared in a month in a half I called and let them know. And the four stars is not because the check was misplaced it is because, when I brought this to their attention no one reached out to me to update me on anything I had to continue to call them, 3 times over a 2 week period before I was able to get this settled. Now everytime I called everyone was nice but I would have thought someone would have keep me updated on what was being done to find this check. At the end of the day I have used them in the past and will continue, the guys were awesome!!!

I just had my AC serviced with Joshua, my AC was acting up and he responded within 2 hours of me calling for help. He was speedy and explained everything to me and helped get it running again. So happy I found Cool Today, looking forward to working with them moving forward. Joshua was excellent!

Our old unit failed and we were without A/C, during hot weather. Within 18 hours of purchasing a new unit, the installation team arrived and began work. They overcame logistical problems posed by our location and quickly removed the old unit, then deployed and tested the new one and within less than 24 hours of our purchase, we had cool, comfortable A/C. Both technicians were professional, thoughtful and courteous. I heartily recommend the company and their installation team. Besides being our go to AC company, we had to have our AC duct work replaced - David and Marvin were the techs that came to do the job. These two gentlemen were timely and most professional, showed me what they were doing and explained the process of the job at hand. I enjoyed my conversations with them and truly appreciate their humor! Cool Today is definetely the AC company you need to call!

The service tech was great. Very friendly and explained everything he did. Was not happy with company. Scheduled between 8 and 12. When had not shows up at 12 called. Said someone should have called and did not. Said had a meeting and someone would be there at 1. After 1 someone called and wanted to reschedule. After some discussion someone called back and had someone on the way but my 8 to 12 appointment ended up being after 2.

I had this company install a new AC two years ago. By mistake the condenser unit was placed over a buried sprinkler head. I requested help to have the unit moved so I could get to the sprinkler head and cap it and I expected to be charged for the service. They came out, found the head, capped it for me. Did not charge me for the visit and were extremely pleasant to work with. They did a great job picking the AC unit I needed, they do maintenance on a regular schedule and they are willing to stand up for their work. Great Company that I highly recommend!

Top shelf tech who was honest and personable. Showed up on time explained what he was going to do. Gave a comprehensive state of our system. Gave us options to fix issues with the system. No high pressure sales just a honest assessment. This company has never steered us wrong.

First - Stacy and Robert, our installers are AMAZING!!! They are truly the epitome of great technicians and I was blown away by their expertise.But I will leave my 1 star review until I get justice for how the salesman, Mike Fishbein, completely ripped us off by $2900. He charged us $1500 to do imaginary duct modifications that couldnt be done in the first place, and the technicians knew nothing about shortening all the ducts, a process that in no way, shape or form could even be done!!! Then, upon my supposed diagnosis by Alex Bermudez, he never even entered my attic! He saw rat droppings and took pictures and said theyd have to redo my insulation- another fee of $1400. We agreed and come to find out- Cool Today said its their company standard to blow in insulation over rat droppings!!!!! One of the first things it says not to do is put insulation over rat droppings. I have a mico-preemie at home and this disregard for the health of my daughter and my husband and I is a slap in the face after agreeing to spend $10,800. Everything is documented in writing since Im smart enough to do communication via text and email. Sad it came to this... Im blown away that I was just robbed by Mike Fishbein and unless I get rectification tomorrow from the area manager- I will be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and taking this as far up the chain of command as I can. I dont care if I have to eventually deal with the owner- this will be resolved in an honest, fair way. Shame on Cool Today!!!And again, Stacy and Robert are beyond outstanding and I would refer them to anyone

This company is fabulous. The technician was efficient and personable. Talk about expertise. They are straightforward, knowledgeable and honest. Great customer service.

When scheduling the repair I let their phone representative know that this was a tenant occupied property and I did not need a visit for an estimate- I already had that and knew and shared the issue. I stressed that since I did not want to keep disturbing my tenant- I needed the repair done on that visit. The representative assured me that would be the case and the technician would call me to go over the price and I could pay over the phone and have him complete the work on-site that day.He arrived on Friday around 3pm and my tenant provided access- never called and was gone by 4pm without doing any repairs but instead sent an invoice for $ 75 for the analysis and another$800 invoice for the completed work. I already made it very clear and they understood- I did not need an estimate and to unnecessarily interrupt my tenant. Waste of time!!!!! Frustrating for myself and tenant!!!

Adam and Midland were very thorough cleaning air ducts, installing a thermostat and 2 UV lights. Ran into some issues but the guys ran them down to a resolution. In short they did the right thing and were competent and professional. Thanks

This was a regular check of the system. Nelson found a loose wire that was causing the compressor to not come on. Fixed that and found a problem with the solenoid that would let the compressor turn back off. He showed me the problem in each case and showed me photos of the test equipment that showed everything else was within limits. He also noticed that the sticker on my unit showed that the UV light had been replaced recently, but I knew that date was to show the time to replace it, so he did that as well. Excellent service, great communication.

I just wanted to get an a/c serviced. Made an appointment. But first thing that morning I got a call to see if I would reschedule since it was just a “service call” and they had so many “emergency calls”. This property is tenant occupied but we agreed and rescheduled. New appointment window 8am-1pm a couple days later. At 12:50pm I call and they say the tech got tied up. 1:01pm get a text saying that I’ll get a call soon. Call comes in 2:26pm saying tech will be in the area soon. The window was 8am-1pm....so you cancel one day and then can’t bother to show up in the 5 hour window YOU dictated?!? I’m sorry but my time and my tenants time is valuable too. Tenant HAD to be back to work no later than 3pm. Unacceptable to have a “client” wait around for 5 hours with no apology. So that results to $$ lost should we charge you? I typically have about 7 units serviced a year. Cool Today will not be who I call.

The technician listened to my explanation of the issue and within avery short time identified the problem, explained what the remedy was going to be and ordered the part. The next day he returned with new part, installed it and tested the system. The technician was highly skilled, pleasant and explained what the repair was.

I had a beast of a job. Converted gas furnace to electric heat pump. Problems with copper wire in the wall. Cool Today technician. Doyle, solved all issues and get the installation completed in 2 days. I use this company whenever I can as they do what they say they will do - always on time and their people are experts. I recommend them to all my friends.

This company is full of thieves and liars! Was told I would get a Costco cash card for an installation in August four weeks later. It has been four months and I have not yet received one. I have called everyday for the past month yet no one will help me get the card. The company cant even get in contact with the person in charge of the cards named Latrina. How do you keep a job when no one in your company can reach you? Plus, you dont even do what youre intended to do! Total incompetence all around. Save yourself the headache. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

They came ealrier than expected to give me a quote. They were very informative and professional. They installed my unit the very next morning. They were on time, quick to finish the job and had my house cooled in no time. They were very easy to work with and I highly recommend them!

They have not repaired my mothers AC for 2 months! They keep taking advantage of the fact she is a sweet old lady and they walk all over her. She was conned into paying a yearly service and they have been unable to do their job for at least the last 2 months, which is fraud.I will be contacting lawyers in the near future, but be warned! This is the type of business that takes advantage of the elderly knowing they see them as friends instead of a corporation, and will give them extremely poor service, or no service at all.

They guy in Truck 40 was rude and was flicking the middle finger to other drivers on hey 60 in Brandon! Very unprofessional!

I made two appointments. One for Duct cleaning and one for AC preventative maintenance for two units. They confirmed via text for both appointments. Someone called the day before to let me know those services should not be completed in the same day so we moved the AC service to Friday. My appointment today was from 9-12. No one called or showed. I called the office at 12:30 and they told me the appointment was moved from 1-3. Inconvenient, as I stayed home all morning, but Ok I will make it work. It’s now 3:30.... no call, no show. I call back to the office, they see the appointment and will find out what is going on. They are going to contact the technician that is coming. I wait on hold for 10 minutes and she told me that appointment should have been rescheduled because they didn’t have anyone to perform the work. Perhaps someone could have informed me of that the first time I called? Not sure what happened but I am canceling both appointments at this point and I will take my business elsewhere. Poor communication and I have wasted an entire day! So frustrating.

Purchased annual maintenance program July 15 2019. During first maintenance, advised that Id need a capacitor as current one was not within voltage guidelines. Was pressured that it could go at any time, that were in the middle of July and you may be without A/C as its A/C companies busiest time of year. Had issues with heating/cooling and tech came out today and advised capacitor was bad. Although it would have been covered under annual maint plan if I renewed, I did not and because of that I had to fork out another 215 for a 50 item. Also advised to purchase a booster thatd be another ~225 and that part online was 13 to assist the capacitor kicking on. Needless to say, not happy I had to install same part twice in less than 2 years at 215 a pop when the original DID work fine in 2019. Tech was great, the fact that company wasnt willing to work with me was not so great.

We bought two new Carrier AC systems and Cool Today was very professional. When there was a hiccup in the original installation, Cool Today went above and beyond to make sure the system was installed correctly and everything done well. It says a lot about a company when they work this hard to do it right!

Kyle did an excellent job on my plumbing today. I called Ccol Today when my kitchen sink started spraying everywhere. He called me before he got here to make sure the leak was under control. He diagnosed the problem right away. My Mohen faucet is wearing out at the base. He tightened it up and said it should be replaced. I couldn’t afford a new faucet today. He explained that since I’m the first owner of the sink I could get a free replacement faucet if I went thru Mohen directly. I’m was very happy to hear that-it will save me about $400. When the part comes in, I’m going to ask for Kyle to come and replace it!

Cool today told me I needed a new unit. The technician then tried to get me to agree for a salesperson to come out the following day to talk to me about a new unit. I refused.Later, I thought of a friend, who knew a friend who could confirm what cool today had determined. He came out, replaced two parts, charged 250 dollars for his service. My ac works great.Be aware of this company, especially if they tell you that you need a new unit. I dont reccomend this company, unless you like taking the risk of getting ripped off.

Alert Cool today did an awesome job installing my new ac inside & outside unit august 2018. Tech came out to performe the annual maintenance Jan 2020. He noticed the heat may not be heating efficiently and a part was getting hot so he did a wire bypass to bypass the defective part and placed the part on order. Two days later a warranty man come out to inspect the ac unit. One week later I called the office to ask if the ordered warranty part had come in. My message was forwarded but no one called back. 2 1/2 weeks after maintenance, I called again. I was told tech would be out next afternoon to install new part. Next morning I get phone call that part was installed and wires are correct & tech wont be coming out in the afternoon.Did the warranty man replace the part or not? Did he undo the wire bypass? Why didn’t he inform me of what he did? The office was just as much in the dark as me. Why? Is my ac repaired and operating efficiently?

PCSS does pest control services. Two previous businesses did not keep our pests at bay, but PCSS does! No more ants, etc. If you want to he rid of insect pests go with PCSS.

Would not recommend to anyone paid for a maintenance warranty that was never honored, when they did come out all they said was always needed fixing. Paid for a maintenance deal that was supposed to be for as long as we owned the house. Now were told it was 1 year warranty and of course it expired 2 days ago!!! And twant charge me a service call of $100 .would not recommend to anyone

So I had a maintence call that showed my unit couldnt be repaired, needed to be replaced. They had a sales person come out, he was late. A few days later they installed a new unit and handler, within hours of them leaving I had tape and I dont know what else falling from the handler. I called to have them come out and fix it... guy never showed. So far not impressed, not a happy customer. 2 stars for the original maintence visit, that was great.
