Took a week and a half to get parts from Carrier for the ac unit still under warranty but they did provide a loaner portable a/c which made it somewhat bearable. Brian was professional and got the system working again. Thanks.
They were the AC company my builder used for our new construction. I’ll start off with saying I know nothing about the installation that goes into AC units. However, looking at their work made me question installation. Wires left everywhere, condensate box just screwed into a random area attached to a piece of wood. When the box started dripping onto our cars, they simply put the box in another box and taped around it. Holes were left in the drywall when trying to create and outlet for the pump. Small hole in the area outside the handler letting cold air out. Our warranty was coming to an end so I had a couple people look at their work to have piece of mind. Picture speak for itself. I’m ashamed at myself for not questioning it earlier.
Jason Williams did an excellent job completing the maintenance on our 2 HVAC units as well as taking the time to explain what he was doing and answering all of our questions. He was polite, patient, professional and respectful. I highly recommend Jason nad One Stop Cooling.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!They sent out a tech to simply service my a/c and clean the coil. While he was here the tech proceeded to tell me everything was fine, and went outside to my outside unit and sprung a leak in my refrigerants valve. 3 days later my a/c isnt working and they tell me I need a $2,000 repair. I called another company, who found the leak and refilled my refrigerant for me. A/C is working perfect now that the other company has come.

Update: They were able to come and correct the issue quickly and the serviceman was very professional and helpful. One-stop is a service contractor that my builder uses. I had an appointment and although I was called (left voicemail) and informed that the contractors previous job was going to run over. I was not given the correct number to reschedule. When I called, I kept getting the Orlando office which was of no assistance as the offices work independently. When I did get the right number to call the number just rang and rang and no voicemail. Although the offices was said to open until 5 (online 24 hours) no one answered the phone from 4:30 -5. They were not able to reach the Tampa office and no way to reach besides an e-mail which CSR Lead said she would do. How do locations/offices work so independently that they are not able to help a customer when in needed?
Their service was very professional, from the initial call and scheduling through the actual service. They also asked some covid screening questions before scheduling the appointment and reassured that they take all safety precautions, which I greatly appreciate! The service person (Bobby) was professional, did a checkup and explained the issue clearly and showed their price listing book and got my confirmation before proceeding. He fixed the issue quickly and also suggested ways that I could prevent this issue in future by myself.Overall, very satisfied with their service and would recommend this to anyone.
I called One Stop today due to finding a lot of water around the A/C unit when I went to change my air filter and the nice lady handled my issue on the phone promptly, very professionally and she wanted to make sure I was taken care of today. She gave me a window of time when the technician would be out and said he would give me a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Well, she certainly sent a great service technician! Carlos was very knowledgeable, very professional, he made sure to abide by the CDC guidelines for our wonderful world of COVID! He called 1 hr ahead of time which was great and he arrived at the beginning of the window time which was wonderful!! Carlos answered all the questions I have always wondered about my A/C and how to maintain and what to watch for and above all....he fixed my issue today! Needless to say, I will be doing yearly maintenance and I will be requesting Carlos! Thank you so much for helping us today and for working during this crazy time of ours.

Jason called ahead to let me know that he was on his way and set my expectation for about 30-45 minutes. He arrived on time Dressed appropriately with his PPE on and introduced himselfWe discuss the brief history on the unit and how somebody Had been to the house a couple days prior and he began to work on his maintenance. He found a few items that needed to be corrected and everything was handled immediately and also let us know about a product that could help with our indoor air quality which I appreciate it tremendously. Rey Arroyo, Senior Service Technician of One Stop Cooling & Heating Tampa came to our home to diagnose a phantom sound coming from our attic mounted AC. Within a few minutes he figured out the problem, and ordered a replacement part. With the part in hand he returned to oversee a crew of several technicians to swap out the part, inspect and adjust the entire unit. Arroyo and his fellow technicians were nothing but professional, efficient and friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. Called in after hours on a Saturday. Was worried the emergency fee was going to be expensive. Only 89.99 not bad. Clarissa said this sounds like a clogged drain. This will be the second time that One Stop Cooling of Tampa has come to my home for my service contract that I have. The first time, the service person was in and outing 10 minutes but the repairman Jason Williams came this time and I am so glad that he didcc. Jason showed me how my unit was growing mildew and how over time the mildew would take over the inside of my unit. This is not something that I want myself or family breathing so he installed a UV light to kill the mildew. I also had questions about the cooling effect of my unit. When Jason looked at the air handler he saw that the top of my unit was blowing cold air out the top because it wasnt sealed properly. This is the reason that my room wasnt cooling like it should. I will for now on ask for Jason because of how professional and helpful he was. Call One Stop for all your air and heating needs, they deliver!
James was very thorough. He replaced my thermostat and told me I needed more insulation (which I agree with) and showed me photos of my attic area so I could see that it needed to be replaced. He also extended my drip pipe so it was farther from the house so it didnt ruin the foundation as well as cleaned out the drainage. Thank you, James and One Stop Cooling & Heating Tampa.

I noticed my house wasnt cooling down at around 5:30 if not later. I called One Stop Cooling and Heating and they said they had someone in my area and theyd have them out that evening. Victor came out and my son greeted him and asked if he was afraid of dogs, he said no and he was greeted by 2 bluenose pitbulls. My dogs are a very good judge of character and they fell in love with Victor and rightfully so! He was knew exactly what was going on and had our house cooling down in a matter of minutes! I appreciated his honesty being a disabled widow I am always afraid of being taken advantage of, but with Victor I received honesty and total fairness. I will request Victor again if my a/c ever goes out again, and I wont hesitate to call One Stop Cooling and Heating! I cant say enough good things about Rey Arroyo. He has been to my house twice and this man really knows his stuff. He is an excellent trouble shooter. He is very professional. He takes the time to explain whatever the issue is. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about his trade. A technician will be sent out to my home at least one more time to make sure my issues are resolved and I want no one else but Rey to come out. All I can say is One stop cooling and heating of Tampa is lucky to have Rey working for their company. He is really a valuable asset and I want them to know it. I dont usually write reviews. Jason Herr was our service Technician, he was very courteous, kind, friendly, informative, honest, hardworking and thorough. Jason installed an Apco air purifier and he did a great job, we were very pleased with his performance, he also did a very good job of tidying up after.
I would like to have given zero stars. Purchased a new unit through them have had issues with it since the beginning just had someone else tell me the UV light is broken and the ducts are full of mold and mildew even though they have been out several time to look at them and say nothing is wrong not to mention paying monthly for their worthless maintenance plan. Thank you for ripping us off and trying to kill my family.

What an unorganized company! Such a shame because they used to be good. Called on Wednesday morning at 8a, needed service because my AC was not working. They had no service available until the following day, 1p-6p window. Fine, I take off of work the next afternoon. 5:30p comes and they still aren’t here, so I call. They have zero record of my call or service and no one available to come out. Awful. They say they can come out tomorrow morning, 8a-1p. I tell them ok, but I call other companies to see if they can come out immediately. Another company is available and fixes it. At 7a the next morning, I call One Stop and Cancel my appointment with a live person. At 9a, I get a call that they are on the way.What kind of system do you guys have? When you’re supposed to come, you don’t. When you’re not, you do come? Get better organized.
Called One Stop at 3pm needing them to come out that day. They said it would be after 5pm and that the tech would call when they were 30 minutes away, which was no issue.Got a call from Carlos at 3:45pm saying he was 30-35 minutes out. He showed up at 4:15pm. After a few questions and inspecting, Carlos has us up & running by 4:45lm!Thanks for the great service!

Horrible customer service from the people answering phones to the quality of work from techs. One stop installed our AC in new construction. The first year we had constant issues due to incompetence of both the initial installer, and technicians sent to fix the issue. Two years later we still have issues and after being told the tech will be here in the early afternoon, we waited until 6 at night until finally cancelling. 15 min wait times to speak to a human are common. Never again will deal with this company, their techs and admin team are a match made in heaven- absolutely terrible customer service all around.

Outstanding customer service. Monday I called jade, the left side of my house wasn’t cooling . The builder said, he’s the go to guy. The go to guy, he is. He said give me an hour. 1 hour 30 minutes later, He had it fix in no time. Someone some how smashed my a/c line. But now it works great. Thanks, what a great company and outstanding staff.

These folks arent professional. They came to rebalance a new system. Guy runs out the door after a while saying he needed one part and they would reschedule. They never did and I found that he never told them anything. When the next guy came, I asked if he tested with a thermometer. He advised he didnt have that equipment on his truck. It didnt work and I left messages on 07/31, 08/01, and twice today for Sara who has not called me back. They also need to fix a vent that they installed that is extremely crooked.
Rey was very professional and thorough. He explained everything about our system to us and more.He went above and beyond our expectations. He knew what our issues were and was willing to work with us to resolve them. He is coming back to complete our issues based on the time he took to listen to our concerns. We definitely would request Rey to come back for any concerns related to our air system.

You need to get your driver to slow down in a school zone, over in the westchase area. Had the number 15V82T on the backdoor. They need to learn to obey laws and be safe around children.
One Stop responded very quickly to my late night holiday emergency service request for my HVAC unit that was not working. Within an hour of my call their technician Rey was at my house. Within minutes he was able to diagnose the problem, submitted a request to order the part needed and was able to get the unit working until early the next morning. Early the next morning I called the office to ensure the part was being ordered and to let them know the my unit was no longer working. The nice lady made note and said that someone would be calling to provide me with a status of the part being ordered. Within a few hours, Cindy called to let me know that they had my part and if I was available all morning a technician (Rey) would be out to install the part. No long after, Rey arrived, installed the part and had my unit working again.Rey, is very knowledgeable and customer friendly. Even though he was working the holiday he was very pleasant and did everything possible to assure me that I would not be without AC. I cannot thank Rey and Cindy enough for taking care of me. Also, their staff that responds to emergency calls did an outstanding job as well.

Rey came out to check the air flow to one bedroom where it felt warmer than the rest of the house. He listened to what I had to say, asking questions about the comfort of the entire home, before taking action. He did a holistic review of the airflow balance, climbed into the attic to adjust the flow to the entire home and updated the fan settings, then adjusted all of the registers to the correct angles throughout the home. He also double checked that our bathroom exhaust fan flappers had the foam padding installed so they wouldnt bang in the wind and found one that had been missed. He also determined that the thermostat originally installed was the incorrect model, and that wed paid for a thermidistat. He had one on the truck so he not only installed it but programmed it. If he hadnt discussed that with me, he could have saved himself the time and effort he spent today. Id not have been the wiser. He then walked me through entering the product warranties to extend our Lennox parts warranties to 10 years. On his way out he explained that we were using the wrong size filter (the one the builder told us to use) and wrote the correct options on the unit so we wouldnt forget. He reviewed everything he did and my instructions going forward before leaving. I could not be happier with Reys attention to detail and customer satisfaction!

Service has been horrendous. They don’t even deserve 1 star but that’s the lowest rating I can give them. It has been weeks, yes weeks, since we first had a technician come by. They said they needed to order a part and would call us when it was in. A month later I called to see if the part was in. Apparently a technician came by the week before, but no one ever called us. We scheduled them to come out the next week. I took a day off from work. They said they would be coming by between 8:00-12:00. They called to say the technician would be coming from 1:00-3:00pm. We were called at 3:45 saying the technician was running late. When we called at 5:00pm we were told that the technician never had us on his schedule. We were told they would try to schedule us next week...What horrible service. Avoid this company at all cost! Any other service company would be better...anyone else.
Our A/C froze in the night. We called at 7:15 a.m. and left our information with the call center. When we hadnt heard back by 9:00 a.m., we called again. We were told by a young woman that someone would be to our house between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to fix the A/C. At 5:55, we called again, and left another message with the call center. A woman called us back and pretty much told us they were too busy to come out. She walked us through checking to see if we had water in a drain and told us to use a wet vac to suck out the water and possible clog. She told us she would give us time to try this and call us back in fifteen minutes at 7:25 p.m. Well, its 11:09 pm, and she never called. We have been without A/C all day. This is the same company who installed the A/C two years ago when our home was built. They did a terrible job. There is very little space to even open the area to insert the air filter. Very disappointing workmanship and poor customer service. Completely unreliable!
TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Better hope you are paying them and not using them for warranty work on your new home or they will NEVER show up. Second floor of my brand new house in Palmetto has been about 88 degrees for a solid week. Office staff lies about when people are supposed to show up and they will tell you different stories each time you call.Cant speak to any supervisors. Technician took nearly a week to order ONE part for a brand new AC unit, was supposed to show up at 4pm, finally called to say hed be there around 11pm for a TWO HOUR REPAIR on a work night, obviously because he had just finished his CASH job and was finally getting around to the warranty customers. Told him no, hed have to reschedule. Not staying up until 1pm on a work night because they dont know how to run a company and schedule technicians.Terrible, terrible customer service. Roll the dice and take your chances with them, but there are MANY better AC companies out there to spend your money with, NOT this one.
My systems worked perfect until they came to perform a service. After that the system stop working, I had a water leak on the ceiling because they never did the purge on the drainage tube. After calling them back they said my compressor was broken and needed a change. I wait for them for 4 days and after calling another company they found the compressor was working perfectly and only the capacitor was not working they changed and my system is working perfectly again. They wanted me to pay $1500 and with less than $500 my system is working perfectly.Dont work with them at all, try any other one before using them.
This is one of the worst service providers Ive ever dealt with. Unfortunately, Im stuck trying to work with them because this is who our builder used and we need to work with them to get any warranty work completed. Twice this week weve had scheduled appointments - no one came, no one called. Ive tried all week to call and get answers over the phone but I wait on hold, get passed around, or someone tells me theyre going to call back and I dont get a call back. Very unprofessional. I dont know how they stay in business operating this way. I HOPE NO FOR TO LONG.Worst experience ever!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. One Stop installed our AC in our new constructions home. We moved into our home Feb 2018 and the AC has never worked properly. They have been out to our home at least 7 times replaced the coil not once but twice! That is 3 coils in the AC and here we are the 3rd has now broke! We have been without AC for 4 days and they have yet to schedule the installation for a new unit. No urgency at ALL.... Cindy the contact for New Construction warranty is extremely unpleasant and treats us as if this is our problem and we are annoying her by calling. Again this is not our first problem. We have been more than understanding, but when the 3rd coil breaks I would expect to be treated with urgency and kindness to fix the problem.

WARNING! They installed new AC system at construction. Never installed 1 year media filter, even though I ordered one.....and refused to stand by their installation. NO FILTRATION FOR MONTHS BEFORE I NOTICED. Cindy in the Tampa office stated someone probably stole it, therefore its not their problem . Never came out to assess the situation. The service supervisor called and hung up on me when I asked if I should be concerned about Mold. Had a separate AC company come out to clean duct work and coils.Lets scale this on a 1-10 (1 being worst)customer service = 1professionalism = 1integrity = 1
I had some issues with my new house. 30 minutes after my phone call with Jaid. He showed up to my house on a Friday at 5:45pm. You guys have one professional A/C tech. It was storming out side! He still unclogged my drier pipe. Even thou the roofers put on the wrong vent. He loves his job. I could tell by his attitude, Professionalism and quality of his work. Also, thank you for getting my master bedroom really cold. One stop now has another permanent customer. Thanks for the fast response!!
This Company is not trustworthy. Be careful of doing business with them. They were supposed to be putting an AC system in our house. We Paid them a large deposit. They bought the equipment and started the installation. Then they came by the house when only workers were there and stole the equipment now One Crook are not paying us our money back. They do not communicate and I would warn anyone to be extremely careful.

We had no heat a few weeks back and we called One Stop. Louis came out and was here very late trying to get our Heat fixed. He did a great job and got our Heat up and running that night. We are very grateful to Louis and One Stop.

Cody was on time and very nice. We had a brand new unit installed with our home and I guess the electrician turned off the breaker. Cody didn’t make me feel silly about coming out for such an obvious thing and fixed it right away, he also did a diagnostic to make sure that there were no other issues. He was very professional and gave me sound answers for all the questions I asked and there were a lot. He didn’t fast talk me and trick me into buying a bunch of stuff I didn’t need. He also advised I do a service agreement in a year, which I appreciated. He was looking out my best interest as the customer. I will use this company again and hope to have Cody back out.

Had some weird issues with my A/C and called this business whom I used previously with a maintenance plan which had expired to come check out what was going on. The next day the tech come out to visit and he explained that the parts warranty for my air handler had expired and that the problem was with my air handler motor. He didnt have the part and would have to order it so he would go back to the office and have the parts department contact me. I paid the diagnostic fee of $89 and awaited the call. One stop called me back and told me the parts plus labor would be $829!!!!!!No way was I paying that so I called sears and had them come take a look. I never mentioned that one stop came a few hours prior saying the motor was bad because I wanted to see if Sears came up with the same conclusion. Sears tech came within an hour of me calling and checked everything and what do you know, it was the drain being partially clogged. I went from almost paying $829 to only paying $99 to have the drain cleaned by Sears!The only reason we called one stop was because of the previous relationship and rapport built up from having the maintenance plan but thats gone out the window now. I feel lied to and they were trying to take advantage of me. No way did their tech do a thorough diagnostic to find the root cause. He just went with something thats costly but not too high like replacing the entire system. They will never get my business again and ill tell everyone to stay away!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!My wife and I bought a new home a couple of months back. The terms of that sale were that the seller needed to replace the outside condenser as it had seen pretty bad rot. No need for the inside as its an electrical system that essentially is good forever since the only two substancial parts inside of it are easily replaceable fan motors and heating elements. The seller decides to use One Stop Heating and Cooling. Not only did they lie to the seller about what needed replaced, they stole the 400$ Nest thermostat and replaced it with a cheapo 50$ honeywell. The original worked great as we tested it long before we ever moved in but lets move on because I havent even begun to break the ice yet so let me just list off the initial reasons why we requested they repair our newly installed system-We moved in to this home and instantly noticed the new furnace had no filter rack to put a filter in. So over the last two months (and still waiting) the dirt is just collecting on the evaporator.-The unit is suspended from the ceiling and leaning heavily to the right essentially making the secondary drain pan worthless (not to mention horrifically ugly).-They removed our metal duct plenum and replaced it with cheap duct board. Then to resize the enlarged transition from the plenum to the attic duct, they just butchered our roof and sprayed expansive can foam and covered in duct tape to sorta seal.-They ran our condensate drain on to our sidewalk making it extremely dangerous for my family to walk on. For those that dont know, the condensate is carrying out the water pulled from the inside unit. When this lays on a hard surface it makes a slime similar to a clear oil. They literally had to work harder to pipe it on the sidewalk which just shows how clueless their people really are.-The outside unit was throttling really loudly and sounded like it was struggling to start. Since I have over 20 years experience as a service technician doing HVAC I decided to do a standard test vial to determine if there was indeed oxygen inside of the freon lines (this is a terrible thing that destroys units prematurely and severely lowers efficiency). Sure enough it was, so that tells me they never pulled vacuum to test for leaks. . They basically soldered it up and dumped the precharged freon and left. No measuring what so ever.- The pressures of the freon itself was way too high (410psig and 71F evap temp coming off the coil inside of a 79F home) That also points to them just soldering up and dumping the freon contained in the condenser new. The techs did not care if our unit barely cools at all and obviously didnt check superheat/subcooling which is standard for our industry on every install.- The new lines and new condensate was sealed using spray foam and duct tape as well. Its caked all over the area where the unit sits and on the exposed exterior wall of my home. They hacked in to our original cover to hide the lineset and just left it jagged and absolutely terrible looking.- The condenser itself is turned around completely backwards meaning the installer literally had to run the copper lines, electrical, and low voltage thermostat wire around the exposed side of the unit. This one blows me away as it took more time energy and money to do this. On top of that they then painted the armaflex covering with white paint that smeared all over the unit itself making it look even worse as if that were even possible.There are so many issues here that I dont actually have enough space to continue on, but in short this was just the start of the problems. I spent the last two months emailing and calling to only get promises from warranty and administrative that they will fix it all. Each time I call back to see why nobody has called or shown up its just another deflection. Recently its been my two provided emails, three provided phone numbers, and regularly having someone at the home all day (in case they want to just randomly show up) is not enough. No contact for appointment at 2mo+
