Great experience! Josh was great showing and explaining all that was available and so knowledgeable and helpful. When we came back, he did everything we asked to check the unit, even showed us some extra things, and had the unit ready when we came to pick it up and Val did the paperwork at their home location, quick, accurate and easy. Very friendly guys, great experience, great prices. It is a wholesale place so act fast or what you want maybe gone. Its a hot market and they have the deals! Will definitely go there first next time were in the market.

Big time wasters.I do not usually do reviews when I havent actually bought anything but I am pretty irritated that my time was wasted not once but twice by this place. They had an RV listed on FB, which I contacted them Sat around 6 PM about well after they closed. I asked a few questions including is it available, does it have a washer dryer, and did they take debit cards. They replied on Sunday at 9 PM yes.Since they are closed on Sundays I was not expecting a response Sunday but when they replied I let them know I would be by Monday to look at the trailer. Monday I made sure to change my schedule around so I could be there at 9:00 AM when they opened. I get there and the RV is not at the location. There is no visible attendant so I walk around a bit confused and finally found someone who said that the RV I wanted had been moved. He called the owner and then told me the RV was sold. This made no sense being as the place just opened and at 9 PM Sunday, a day they were not open, the trailer was told to me to be available. The employee said it had sold at 6:30 AM that morning... the listed hours on both the ad and the business is 9 AM - 5 PM M-F... I also checked the FB ad twice before I left to ensure it had not been marked sold before I made the ONE HOUR drive over there.As I type this the ad for the RV is STILL up and STILL marked as available not sold. I called the owner to see what was up and he said it was sold the previous day... and that he had told me it was not available but they had others like it... uh no you did not you said Yes. Period thats it. All that was messaged to me in reply to my questions and messaged to me at 9 PM Sunday.It is entirely unfair to tell customers hours that you clearly do not abide by. If I had know there was an option to buy it before Monday at 9AM I could have done so. It is extremely unprofessional to use FB to advertise and not update listings when they sell. But to add salt to the wound they owner said they had other units there that matched that unit closely. I had already asked the attendant there if there was something else in that general price range and specs and he had stated that they only had one other in that range that was far far older and just looking from the outside I could tell it was not going to work. The remaining similar units I was told by the attendant were well over the price range of the one I had come to see. The owner said he would call the attendant because he did have units in that price range and specs on the lot. Well I wanted 30 minutes and no one called me back or came to show me these units.I left this place very frustrated, disappointed, and feeling like I had been treated like my business was unimportant. It is not hard to update FB when a unit sells. And in the future if you are going to sell things outside the business hours you list maybe not list them at all?

I think this is my first Google review, so here we go.MotorDepot sells RV’s at wholesale prices.With that you need to set expectations appropriately, units may need a few things(remember wholesale pricing). Ask questions, inspect what your interested in, bring a mechanic with you (they are fine with that) so you can feel confident in what you are purchasing. The owner (Ben) is very busy, but also a very honest guy. I worked with him from out of state, he was always responsive and did right by me. At the end of the day I think the best review should answer a simple question “Would I buy again from them”, and my answer would be yes.

Lets set an expectation. You are looking for a wholesale priced RV. 1: It wont be perfect 2: it will need some love and attention 3: youre not paying retail. If you are buying something below Market price. Dont expect it to be perfect. I bought a pre-owned 5th wheel. Its not perfect. Ben and I came to an agreement on price. We are both happy. End of story. Be realistic with your expectations and you wont be disappointed. I wasnt. It was the easiest transaction I have ever done.

Bought a 2014 Thor Elite Class C from Ben at Motor Depot last week. Drove home to New Hampshire from Tampa with no problems at all. Ben assured us it would be a good trip with no complications and he was correct. I would not hesitate to buy long distance with him again.

Motor depot is a great place to buy an RV!! We are very happy with our purchase, and their team was the most patient and helpful. Ben was very knowledgeable and patient with our myriad of questions. He spent over 3 hours on our orientation to make sure we were comfortable with all of the inner workings. It was worth the 2 hours drive to Tampa to purchase our RV here! Give Motor Depot a try.

We bought our Park Model RV from Ben & Josh today, it was a pleasant experience. They both answered all our questions, Josh set up our RV so we could see that everything was in working order and Ben had the paperwork done in just a few minutes.In the next couple of years we will be looking for a smaller RV and we will go see Ben & Josh again, the selection is very good and the prices are the best around if you are looking for used RVs.

The people were friendly enough, but they refuse to allow me to take a vehicle off their lot to take it to my Ford dealer to have a pre-purchase inspection. They did tell me that I can have a mechanic come and look at it on their lot. That is not Optimum for a pre-purchase inspection of a vehicle and I refuse to buy a vehicle without a pre-purchase inspection.

Very crowded dealership, Owner was attentive but, very busy. Had to go and look around on my own. I believe if he would have had more time and I would have been able to test drive I would have bought but, wasnt in the cards that day. These are repos so need to really look closely at what youre buying. Owner os overwhelmed but tries his best.

I recommend if you are going to buy an RV to buy it from this man once we purchased we didnt have to worry about anything after that he took care of the tags and everything explain everything it was a lot to digest until we got in here and try to remember everything that we were told we should have brought a notebook and took notes but we finally got it anyway and I have to call them many times to ask them questions and they always called me back they always answered my questions and every time that something went wrong I would call them they would give me advice the advice always panned out and it always work out so I recommend this guy to anybody I give you a 5-star Motor Home Depot

Drove up twice from Ft Myers, hear lines of Bull Sh__! Nothing would start up, nothing could be moved due to everything being behind the motorhomes. One unit the wall was replaced with plywood and painted white. None of the units had gas in them so the generators would not start. I would not recommend this place looks like a front for shady business.

Flew in to pick up my retirement home-a 2005 class c motorhome-i am a senior, handicapped and a recent widow-everything seemed up and up until I drove out of there,traveling 500 miles to bring this home-the check engine light came on after an hour, unit had very hard shifting and struggled to keep to speed -later found out the transmission is shot,generator is shot,big hole in corner of roof with rot,mechanic said check engine light had been recently cleared and milledge has been altered.this mechanic is family so honesty not an issue. So I paid 19000 for whats probably worth 5000. I cant travel, as planned-so stuck it in an RV park so i can just sit and stare-so much for retirement dream

Best place to buy an RV! Honest people that want to please their customers. Over the last 25 years we have owned different units & bought at different dealers. I would say this dealership is the best. We will be purchasing again from this family business either a car or when it comes time to upgrade our motorhome. Do not be afraid to drive out to the Thonotosassa location, it is very cozy with shade trees. No high pressure sales. We started out just wanting to look around. Both Josh & Valom (the salesmen) took a day each to let us browse. All paperwork, title & plates were dealt with in just a couple of days! Their website is very user friendly, you will find as much as 100 pictures of some units. Nothing hidden you will see pictures of everything. I think you should give small business a chance & shop at Motor Depot/RV outlet!!!

Prices not bad but units are very dirty. Broken and missing parts equipment. I was looking at travel trailers not coaches. He does not try cleaning units first. there was mold on ceilings of 2 trailers I looked at.

A lot of motorhome s to look at reasonable prices. Most of them need some cosmetic work. Staff was friendly.

I started bidding on their 2008 seadoo challenger on eBay and had asked them last week if the seadoo was used in salt or fresh water. Person I spoke to on the phone assured me it was only used in fresh water. Fast forward today with about 30 hours left on the auction and I was determined to bid until I won. I then called again to make sure it was only used in fresh water since I was preparing on having it tranported to Texas and was calling local transport companies and flying there to view it in person after the auction. I told them I will win the auction and everything is fine with the boat as long as its never been used in salt water. Person on the phone told me it was only used in fresh water. I then told him that I will not pay for the boat if I find out its been used in salt water. He then told me to not bid on the auction and waste his time since he cannot confirm if its been used in salt water. Shady dealer. Would have been considerate if he told me this in the first place or even better advertised it on their auction. Definitely wasted my time.

Bought clean 1997 GMC 17’ Savanah 2500 RV Van off winning bid on Ebay so took Amtrak train from Savannah Ga to Tampa days later where Ben personally picked me up on time, got me out his office door after lots of paperwork whereas I was back home safely in SAV by 10:30PM and Van drove smooth, fast & a joy to drive! Have added my personal interior touches & various outside goodies like cargo carrier & front hitch receiver for bikes and in Hilton Head Island today camping at RV Resort by the beautuful ICWater. Bought a 2007 Mercedes CLK350 from them April 20,2016. I found the OBD hatch hanging open and asked them if they had just cleared a check engine light and Ray lied and said no. However, the check engine light came on the way home. NEEDS CAMSHAFT SENSORS AND A NEW INTAKE MANIFOLD - total cost to repair is $2600.00.Be very careful of what you buy here, it most likely is NOT what it appears and certainly NOT what they say.NO, this does not show on a carfax.
