My car repairs look fine, but the customer service was horrible. The shop is closed on weekends, and that somehow turned my 5 day repair into an over 2 week repair. They never reached out to me with updates, I had to call and check up constantly. Once I finally got my car back, it was full of ants. I will say, they were apologetic and attempted to clean the ants out of the car for me. The staff were nice in person as well. Overall, not a great experience

As someone whos been associated with the automotive industry and body shops I can tell you that Nu Finish got it right the first time the over all fit and finish of the vehicle was spot on ! I wont take my vehicles any where else. The return time was as promised and the staff are so nice .I dont put my name on alot of places but I will highly recommend Nu Finish to anyone as they came highly recommend to me.

Best customer service I have had in a long time! I put a nasty scratch on my car and got very expensive quotes from less qualified places. Honda recommended me to Nu Finish as they are Honda certified. I am so happy I went. The price they have me was wonderful and they had my car done very quickly - quicker than they anticipated. I also missed my original appointment and they easily rescheduled me again. I am beyond pleased with the job they did with my car as well. My husband is very picky and detail oriented with work in our vehicles and he was very impressed. I will go back to Nu Finish in the future if I need any body work done.

I had my 2017 Honda Accord repaired by Nu Finish. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the repair process. I have had many vehicles repaired in the past by other body shops in Brandon and not one was a professional or as high as quality of repair as Nu Finish. I also want anyone to know. I have read a few of the reviews and I have a hard time believing those are from actual customers. Larry Mike and Allison were great through the whole process. I highly recommend Nu Finish to my family and friends.

I had a great experience from start to finish. This was the first time Ive taken my car to get repairs, and needed pretty extensive ones. They walked me through the entire process and were so friendly the entire time. Ally at the front desk was so sweet and kept me updated while my car was in the shop. My car took a week to repair and I am very impressed with what they did. There is a lifetime warranty with my repairs also. Thank you Ally, Mike, and Nu Finish!

JUST A FANTASTIC COLLISION SHOP TO HAVE YOUR CAR PROPERLY REPAIRED!My Hyundai Elantra was hit quite hard that needed to have auto body repair to restore my 2013 back to its great condition.In life we have choices and I did some research with the local Hyundai dealership in Brandon on who they take their cars to for any body work needed. They highly recommended Nufinish.Let me tell you how right they were. It all started with talking with Allie the office manager who was most detailed in telling me what is to be expected from the repairs needed to my car. Then I also met the owner of the business Larry who impressed me in caring what my concerns was.Today, 11/25/19 I picked up my car and it looked like it just came out of the showroom. I was greeted by Mike the Body shop Manager who went over everything they had done to the car. He like Allie and Larry was also totally customer service orientated.If you ever are faced with a collision problem this shop is just great and the workmanship was just incredible.

The short story-An accident is a horrible and scary event-- Luckily Nu Finish helped ease the pain with top notch communication and outstanding workmanship. We would use them again and recommend to friends.The long story-I had a minor at fault accident at the Brandon Mall in our new 2013 Dodge Journey. My insurance, All State, said they have a contract with Nu Finish collision and by using them, no paperwork would need to be sent nor any payment other than deductable-- All State will work directly with Nu Finish on the billing. Because I knew the alignment was knocked off and didn’t want to risk further damage I asked to have the Journey towed from the house. To save money we don’t carry rental insurance, but we do have a spare car. The problem was that we don’t have plates on the spare and as everyone knows in Florida it’s around $300+ to register. After a little run around we obtained a 10 day temp tag and explained to Nu Finish our dilemma. They assured us they will work to return the car before the tags expire. Not only did they accomplish what they promised, they also buffed out a parking-lot door scratch free of charge! The work they did was outstanding—I have no complaints. They sent emails nearly every day on the status of our car, which really helped me feel comfortable with their service. A+ shop!

After a minor car accident that damaged the front end of my Toyota, Nu Finish body shop had done a wonderful job to restore my car and it looks almost brand new again. They completed the work in two weeks and always kept me up to date with the progress. Allison is the best! The other staffs are friendly as well.

Well when I first walked in I asked did I need to schedule an appointment, the receptionist was very kind and polite she responded no maam well get you taken care of right now and would love for you to let us also repair your car here as well. She picked up the phone asked the owner can he come do a State Farm Estimate (I could hear him say yes on my way) he came out saw that I was Muslim (of course you could tell by my attire/clothing). He said he could NOT help that its plenty of other places around here that could help me. I felt some kind of way so I decided to call and ask could I get an estimate done the receptionist said yes we are open til 5pm. So clearly he just didnt want to help me not because Im African American but because Im Muslim.

NuFinish exceeded my expectations! I had a scuff and small dent from a driver backing into my brand new 2019 Honda Accord and I couldnt bare leaving it like that. NuFinish to the rescue! As soon as I called, Allie was already putting the plan in motion. I made her aware that I needed my car back in 2-3 days and she got it handled. My car was returned back to me as if the accident never happened. Thank you guys for being so professional and accommodating. I will return anytime I need a repair.

Top quality service that was well worth the wait!My 2015 Honda accord was there for about eight days but it was worth it. When I got my car back this morning, the rear of my car looked brand new again and I was amazed by the excellent work and time that they put into making my car perfect again. I have a Hyundai Tuscan and Nu Finish is what the Hyundai dealership in Brandon uses for body repairs. My car is still currently being fixed and I havent seen the completed job yet, but the service provided here has just been a great experience. They talked me through everything and explained how long it would take (I know nothing about fixing cars...). They even called me before the 4th of July to say that they will be closed, therefore adding some more time in getting my car fixed! Once I get my car back, I will add on to my review! As of now, I am satisfied with my care!

The people at Florida New Finish are very pleasant and accommodating.They were able to get my vehicle in for body repair VB in a fairly shot time period compared to other body shops in the Tampa area. The repair was also done quicker than quoted from others. The price was about $600 less than quoted from another body shop.The workmanship is very good and my vehicle was as clean when I picked it up as when I left it. There is also a lifetime warranty on their work.I hope to not need them in the future, buy in the event someone bhits me again, I will bring my vehicle to Florida New Finish for repair.

I have a 2014 Honda Accord. I was in a small accident by Fish Hawk where I live. I called the Dealer to get my car fixed. They recommended the only Certified Body Shop in Brandon. Nu Finish did a fantastic job on matching my paint. Looks like my car was never damaged. I moved to Florida from the Midwest. I have had a hard time with the lack of Customer Service and hard working people. Nu Finish, Larry and Mike are the most professional and knowledgeable people I have met in Florida. I remember the technician explaining what action was necessary, the estimated repair time and what it would cost. I was very satisfied as they were timely and accurate with all their predictions and service. They were very professional and courteous. While visiting Tampa our car got sideswiped, broke the tail light, banged up the rear passenger side. Since we were dealing with the other drivers insurance we decided to see if we could get it fixed before we left to avoid a ticket for no taillight. We brought it to Nu Finish on Friday for an estimate. They said 4-5 days and to bring it back Monday. Even with Monday being a holiday and working with insurance we got it back Friday good as new. Super people with great attitudes. Even got a tour of the repair shop where they must have been working on 30 cars. They knew we were in a time crunch and came through as promised. Highly recommend.

This company had no idea what customer they were calling or talking to when handeling my insurance case. In the first few invoices I read they had either the make, model or color on my vehicle incorrect. It took them over a month to fix a tailgate, and they blamed the insurance company. After talking to the insurance company we discovered that NU Finish had lost my claim completely. Completely unorganized and the staff were complete jerks demanding me to fix the claim error they had made. I will never be taking my vehicle, or any of my company’s vehicles to these folks. I wish you the best of luck with dealing with Nu Finish.

Wrecked the front end of my truck, New finish did a great job replace the hood grill and bumper. Larry would call me weekly with a progress report. The truck looks brand new again. Great, Great Shop

Man, these people... I took my truck in to have a dent on my tailgate repaired. I put them in contact with my insurance company to sort out the financial details and dropped my tailgate off with them. I was told multiple times by their office that my insurance company had waived the deductible and that they have been paid in full. 3 weeks later when the work was finally done, I came in to pick the tailgate up. The receptionist told me that they were sent the check by the insurance company and that I am good to go. They reattached the tailgate for me and I had a look at it. The tailgate was dirty, the paint was scuffed and there was a small scratch on the left side. I could only think Im glad Im not the one paying for this! I checked again with them to make sure they were paid in full, I was printed off the invoice and they told me to have a good day.Later that day, I received a voicemail from their office stating that I owe them $500! I received another call and a strongly worded email from their office, I responded in kind that I had no intention of paying because I feel I was intentionally misled. A couple weeks later they have their attorney threatening me with a lawsuit for the $500. Now, I do not know if this is maliciousness, gross incompetence or both, but I cannot recommend anyone to do business with this company.

They took longer than they should have and ended up paying more than was quoted. They need to be more transparent when there are issues and not tell you about complications when its too late to go with someone else.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had. Took over two weeks after only telling me it would take one. Timing has been completely off, and there has been no communication. Attitude from manager, and been hung up on multiple times by the desk lady. Save your time and go somewhere else

I never take my car to a shop, i always perform my own work. I got in an accident (not at fault) The work was quick and i get the car back. the first issue was 2 days after i got my car back, the battery died (which is possible, so i didnt make an issue about it, but is quite a coincidence) so i go through the car, to see what else is broken/missing. my CAR JACK AND SOCKET WRENCH are missing and my WIPER FLUID SPLITTER is broken. The office secretary was nice and replaced the splitter, but the owner refused to do anything about the CAR JACK AND SOCKET WRENCH.The only thing i really cared about was the CAR JACK and the owners response was since it is only a $5 part he would not replace it. His only justification was that the damage was in the front of my car and the tools were in the truck, so clearly none of his employees would ever steal from someone. My issue was his attitude, because i can find one cheap, it is my problem, not his.IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, JUST MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ANYTHING OF VALUE, TOOLS INCLUDED BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THEM AND WILL GIVE YOU AN ATTITUDE FOR SUGGESTING THAT YOUR MISSING TOOLS SHOULD BE COMPENSATED, I DIDNT EVEN CARE ABOUT THE SOCKET WRENCH, ONLY HAVING MY CAR JACK REPLACED.

Good place to have car repairs done but takes a little longer than they originally say

We took our Prius to NuFinsh following an accident in February this year. The front bumper had completely fallen off and there was clearly some internal damage, but we were unsure of the extent. NuFinish initially gave us an estimate of $4800 total to fix everything with an estimated finish date of March 8. $4800 is better than buying a new car, and we were paying out of pocket, so we agreed, only to receive a revised estimate two days later that the total had jumped to $7000. We thought this was still better than buying another car, so we agreed. We checked in a few days before March 8 to get a progress update, to which NuFinish said that they needed another week, but they felt confident about the car being ready the next Friday. We called again on Thursday the 14th and checked on the progress, to which they said they need still another week. We were getting a bit frustrated at this point, so we decided to visit the car in person. The car looked much the same as it did the day of the accident and covered in pollen. NuFunish had told us that they had finished installing a section and aligning the frame of the car, but during our visit, we observed that the frame was bent and was clearly the old frame. We asked about a time estimate and were told that next week would be a reasonable estimate. Multiple times we asked if they had all the parts they need, and they said ‘yes’. We kept getting strung along with the one more week line until we got a call from NuFinish saying that the headlights they originally obtained for the car were an incorrect fit. They needed to purchase brand new headlights from the dealership, which increased our cost to over $8300. We were told other parts were needed as well. The car ended up being ready on April 9, two months after the accident. (Our out-the-door price ended up being just under $8000 because they said they were able to cut down some of the labor costs). We were told that all parts replaced were warranted for as long as we own the car. When we picked up the car, we were only able to drive about a half a mile down the street before a warning light came on. It was a red triangle with an exclamation point in the center. We immediately took the car back to NuFinish thinking they would take care of it. We were told to take it to where we normally get service. We took the car to the dealership. We called NuFinish with the initial diagnosis and they said the cost of the repair was on us and not something they were responsible for. After a day of inspecting and adjusting, the technician diagnosed the car with a pinched coolant wire. $351 later and the car was fixed. Part of the repair at NuFinish was replacing the radiator so this bad wire was in scope of their repair. After paying $8K for repair, the expectation is that we receive a working vehicle. NuFinish said they test drove the car, but a Prius requires two drive cycles before a code presents itself on the dashboard. Undoubtedly this is not the first Prius that NuFinish repaired and they should have known that. The fact they did not own up to “making it right” is troublesome especially given the run around for many weeks.

I have taken the same car in here twice, no issues. Excellent service and results.

Avoid the owner Larry at all costs. The man has no respect and cannot give a proper explanation on the price quote without getting frustrated and angry when asked questions. Was handed the price quote while he is talking on the phone with someone else and when Im asking questions hes still in a rush to get back to his call. Poor customer service gives no reason to continue with you to get my car fixed. They have provided service to me multiple times in the past and I dealt with Mike and he does a great job in communicating. Larry should clearly take some tips from him on how to deal with future customers. If you must go ask for Mike. However, who wants to give a place business when the owner has no respect. Ill be having my car fixed at a different place.

If I could leave no stars, I would have! Brandon Hyundai took my 14 Genesis Coupe to them in 2014 with about 4 thousand miles on it to replace a broken rear bumper clip. Little did I know, until it was later involved in an accident, that all they did was super glue it and put a screw through the stripped clip holder, when the bumper was in fact actually BROKEN. My repair shop that did the work for the accident has documented the incident with photos. I’ll never use them again, even though I had no choice to use them the first time. AVOID THIS DUMP!!!!!

Took my Lexus IS 250 in for a repair after I was rear ended on the interstate and I must say I couldnt be happier with the result! I called up and spoke with Ally the front receptionist who was very sweet and very informative, she took my information and scheduled an appointment that coordinated with my work schedule. I sent my car for repairs and was put in a rental through the insurance company, so with that said insurance ONLY provides you so many days in a rental that they cover without you having to come out of pocket, which I was not prepared to do considering the accident itself wasnt my fault. Larry assured me it would be taken care of and provided me with updated progress of my vehicle even made sure they ordered and replaced the the rear bumper Lexus appliqué that had to be removed during the repairs with the same Lexus brand appliqué without me having to mention it! Im not sure if they washed it aside from repairing my bumper from the collision but my car looked IMMACULATE! Seriously like a brand new car! Thank you so much. I LITERALLY recommend NuFinish to everyone.Very pleased!

Had a problem with my Honda Pilots rear wiper blade mount. Called NuFinish, they told me just to come by, I already had the part. Mike, the manager, met me in the parking lot and took care of my problem and even put a new blade on the wiper. In the past, NuFinish has also done body work on my daughters Honda Accord. These people are honest, kind, and will treat you right. Dont go anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

While they seem to have done a good job with the work, THREE weeks is excessive for the small amount of body work I had done. Three freaking weeks. Seriously? For a front corner, thats crazy. last Friday I was told it would be ready Wednesday. I called on Wednesday and they said, nope, Thursday. I called Thursday and now it became Friday. Thankfully it was ready on Friday. The manager has poor customer service, too. He promised to call me on Thursday evening before they closed to give me a time for Friday. He never called. I will never bring any vehicle of mine there again. Nor will I recommend this establishment to anyone I know.

I just bought a Honda Accord and 4 days later a woman hit my driver side bumper. I immediately went to Brandon Honda and asked who they went through to repair their cars and they recommended Nu Finish. The woman who hit me insurance company used Gerber which I was contemplating going to but was told by others they did not do a great job and since my car was brand new I wanted the paint to match. The first time I was told my car was ready to be picked up I saw the paint didnt match but to make matters worse on the right side of the bumper (where nothing had happened from the accident) there was now scuff marks located where the bumper attached. Mike said the painters may have not sanded it properly and he would fix it and have it to me the next day. They called to say it was ready and again the same marks were on the right bumper as well as the paint being off. Mike said yet again he would repair it and I thinking the 3rd time may be the charm was wrong because it still wasnt fixed. At this point I have wasted my time, gas, and now I have a brand new car that has marks where there was none prior to bringing it to Nu Finish. Very very disappointing service and I would NEVER recommend any of my friends or family to go there.
