Ive been using them for some time, buying refrigerators to put in my rentals. Thought things were going smoothly til two fridges went out. I called about one that was in warranty to have it swapped out, he didnt have any stainless steel in stock and told me hed have some in his next truck which he didnt. so three weeks go by and still no stainless steel fridges in his inventory. He then swaps out my stainless steel fridge I paid $550+ for a white fridge and charges me an addtl $330 because now the fridge is no longer under warranty while waiting for him to get a fridge they can swap the old one out for. Have definitely lost a customer; Ive spent over $4k with them so hurts theyd treat a frequent customer like this... to top it off they offered to buy back the non working stainless steel fridge for $40. a JOKE

Called several places around town for used appliances, the gentleman at this location was the nicest. Stopped in and met Kafui, very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to do business with. I purchased a washer and dryer at a great price, delivered and set up the very next day. Installation was a breeze, the delivery guy was nice and made sure everything was working before he left. Repairman charged $175 for service call w/no parts replaced. The following day - fridge didnt work. They say 30 day guarantee - but they dont return. David Griffin the repairman just said nothing else he could do. Then when he did text to say he would return to check on it - he didnt show. Now he just hangs up. He can now let the BBB and county court judge know all about it.

The guy that runs the place is super helpful, very nice, the appliances are nothing fancy generally although he does have nice things sometimes. If youre looking for something thats just basic, that will get you by, or for a rental or a part-time home, this is a perfect place to go. They actually have a warranty on the appliances, and only one time have I ever had to take anything back. He replaced it, no questions asked. Everything else Ive ever bought from there is still working, including the replacement dryer from 6 years ago.

I bought a washer from here. When it was delivered it leaked water all over my utility room upon delivery. They took it back and said they would refund me. They did, but would not refund me the delivery charge. I ended up buying a new washer from local appliance store.

Our dryer died during the Corinavirus pandemic and the repairman recommended Appliance Mart to get a good used dryer. We had a selection of 8-10 dryers to choose from and found one fairly quickly that met our needs. They have a 90 day warranty and the delivery fee covers us if they need to repair it or exchange it. The service was great and the gentleman was very helpful. They even had hand sanitizer on the desk to clean your hands.

This washer and dryer works perfectly and I have had no issues with it. After the whole situation I would definitely say Dave has good customer service skills. I would recommend this place to friends/family.**Edited 3/20/2019 **After posting my review I was contacted by Dave himself and we arranged for a service tech to come out to the property to take a look at the washer/dryer. The immediate response was appreciated.I purchased a stacked washer and dryer from them. They said everything worked and all we needed to get was the hoses. When they dropped it off they tested it and everything appeared to work. After I did the first load I noticed my clothes were soaking wet, like the washer never spun the clothes to get all the water out. If I knew it didn’t work correctly, I would of never bought it.I had them delivery the washer and dryer, and they contacted us and said they couldn’t deliver it due to the “rain”-which was NOT a heavy rain. I left the guy a voicemail to call me back and he never returned my phone call or even acknowledged my call. After looking on Facebook it appears this is VERY typical of this company.

Yesterday I bought a Maytag washing machine from Dave. I paid $239 plus tax. I looked up similar models on line and couldn’t find anything under $600. As always, Dave’s customer service was fantastic, and the experience was quick and stress-free. I was able to buy a dryer, have it loaded into my truck and be back at work before the end of my lunch break!I bought a dryer from Dave about a year and a half ago. It ran well but a few weeks after we bought it, the timer stopped working so the dryer would run continuously. I called Dave and he was very apologetic, and he asked us to bring it back in and said he would replace it with another one. We took it back that day and left with our Maytag dryer. We still have it and it works great! I cant say enough about the warranty. It was a great feeling to be able to call the store, tell them our problem and have the dryer replaced the very same day! This kind of customer service is what has kept us coming back!Things can go wrong with any product at any time that’s bought from any business. Its how the business that sold the product handles those situations that makes the biggest difference. Therefore, Dave keeps our business and we feel confident referring our friends and family.

I regret doing business with them and wish I had done more research on my options. Bought a washer for $240+$40 to have it driven a couple blocks as I do not have the privilege of owning a truck. Washer worked fine for approximately 4 months before the washer died on me. Had a washer repairman come look at it and they informed I was sold a lemon. So I called David and he told me the best he could do was sell me another washer at a reduced price of $160 + $40 for delivery. Wow! What a deal! Essentially I could have spent a total of $480 on a washer from this crook. After searching online it turns out there are other appliance stores outside of Tallahassee that will sell you the same brand of washer for $160 originally without charging for delivery and installation. Even if they are just as unreliable I would have already saved over $100 by shopping with them in the first place. All in all, learn from my mistake keep on looking, do not trust this company and consider looking outside of Tallahassee for companies. Also worth noting the employee David that works there is kind of a creep. So much so that my S.O. did not feel comfortable shopping there alone without my presence. Worth considering if youre a lone female that is ok with being ripped off.

I had been looking for a particular sized side-by-side refrigerator, at a reasonable price for a long time, and found it at Appliance Mart. Owner was extremely helpful and allowed me to delay my pick-up for several months until I was ready. Exceptional value, great service. This man does what he says he will do. I will go there first in the future for all my appliance needs.

Our company, Destination Real Estate, works with Appliance Mart regularly when appliances are needed at our rental properties. Only company Ive ever felt compelled to review, when we purchased a washing machine for install they dropped the machine and broke it before delivery was ever made. Couldnt fix it themselves and took them a week to send it off to be repaired. Had to call repeatedly to speak to anyone, am now on the third promised delivery date and still without a washer. If you have any other option go somewhere else.

I have found very nice used units here for rental units and for personal use. They deliver on time and the 90 day warranty is fair for the price of the units.

David is amazing, bought a dryer and after a week it had a problem but he told me not to worry and had a guy out to fix it ASAP. Very rarely do you find a business that cares more about making sure i am taken care of over its bottom line.

There needs to be a way to rate as zero stars. The washer we had installed leaked though my upstairs floor and into the ceiling of the kitchen. Appliance mart gave me my refund minus 45 dollars. Worst shopping experience of my life. The manager does nothing. The prices are so unbelievably cheap because the products and service are unbelievably cheap quality. Dont fall for it

BAD NEWS! Should be renamed: Appliance CA$INO because they’re good at taking money & everything you buy is a gamble! “Dave” has all the charm of a Snake-oil $ale$man; ALL of the appliances they sold me needed to be serviced or replaced within the month! AND they will try to drag their feet until warranty expires. Poor business practices. Consider yourself warned.

After some hiccups with our initial purchase (one our problem, one theirs), this place came through in a big way and got us a machine that fit our needs perfectly, and at a reasonable price too. Its been going strong for six months and (knock on wood) shows no sign of quitting, so I consider the experience positive.

I wish I would have looked at some of these reviews prior to my purchase. I feel like I’m getting the run around and pressured into an extended warranty. I purchased a washer on 1/31. It caught fire, due to lent and not the dryer. It was replaced within a couple of days. That dryer would not finish a full cycle no matter how much time I set it on. The mechanic said that the motor was going out and the dryer would need to be replaced. For almost a full month they have either been out of dryers or just failed to deliver one when called. Maybe I will get a working dryer and I can update my review but so far my experience has been horrible.

Great customer service

I purchased a dryer on Friday had to return on Saturday. I called David at 7am telling him I would be there in an hour (because I live an hour away) to exchange it. When I got there he had a note on the door stating he will return shortly and call him on number he left on the door. When I called him he was VERY RUDE telling me that he out and he wasnt coming back until 9:45 am I explained to him that I called him and told him I was on the way. I waited an hour for him to return when he arrived he was very rude and agressive, he literally throwed my dryer onto the truck. I will never go back there!!!

Low prices = poor service. Will not shop here again or recommend to the others.

I cant say much about their appliances because I didnt buy anything from them but David was extremely helpful in getting me new knobs for my stove. And he didnt even charge me.

This place is horrible. Sold me a refrigerator that had to be repaired within the first week because it was frozen behind the freezer panel; broke one of the wheels putting it on the trailer SIDEWAYS; really bad attitude all the way around.
