William helped appraise part of my dad’s coin collection. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. His customer service was great. He answered all of our questions. I didn’t feel any pressure to sell, though I did end up selling. I felt like we were offered fair prices. I would definitely recommend Bellevue Rare Coins and will return if I plan on selling any other coins.

Went to sell coins after looking over website they claim we will pay you check,cash however you want well when it came time to receive money she said they dont have any money it will be check for deposit only. Me and my friend stepped outside for maybe 60 seconds to discuss this as we knew we could put in our bank account but only be able to access 200 til the following Monday . In that 60 seconds we came back in a guy comes up and says he wont give us the previous promised amount but 70 less. We assume its because they were mad about us daring to question there inability to come up with any cash.. so then we went to money tree to cash check they called and Bellevue rare coins denied us to be able to cash so we were way inconvenienced and feel totally scammed please dont put yourself through there maze of lies and scams

Came in with a kilo and 10 oz coins. Silver. Had proof I purchased it. 100% real. They claimed they only had 30 dollars in the till. Will write a check. 1000 bucks. Waste of time. Disgraceful in professionalism. I had called before hand.

Love this place, ever since I found out about them I have been going in with all my friends and they have made everyones experience amazing and have made us all true customers. Delt with everyone and all of them gave above average customer service no matter what I’m buying and are more than willing to look up prices I don’t know or give me knowledge. Happy I make the 30 minute drive. Truly feel comfortable to come in and buy EXTREMELY reasonably priced coins with even some limited mintage coins. 10/10 recommend this place.

Take my advice never take anything of value to these con artists they will hustle you and make you feel like you need them more than they need you trust me there are other gold buyers out there that will treat you with more respect and give you a more fair deal deal these people are nothing more than b level hustlers in cheap button-up shirts and ties. They got me this time but hopefully they will not get you.

I went in with absolutely no knowledge of the coins that I had and their value. Carina Carlos showed me what to look for and how they value them. I left with the knowledge that I got the absolute best price I could for them. I will return and ask for her again if I have other coins to sell.

Not the best prices or most professional..Offered me $10 gram Platinum $310 oz?? Just sold to a more honest coin shop for $1220 oz! One person took my rare color coin out of the capsole and dropped it (there went ms70 grade) seems to always try and pull fast ones instead of being honest. Other coin shops paying $1++ over spot even for generic (this place counts new zealand mint as generic). The actual Bellevue coin in Bellevue a little better ran than Tacoma. Also sometimes they out of silver coins..

Today 8/15/2020 was my first experience attempting to value/sell my coins and misc silver pieces. Bellevue Rare Coins-Tacoma was highly recommended by my friends. I walked in and was immediately Welcomed by the staff and was helped by Carina Carlos. Carina was incredibly helpful and instantly put any anxiety about my lack of knowledge on coins and precious metals at ease. She answered all my questions and explained with great detail about the values of my pieces and why some were worth more than others and how to identify them. Carina made the process a breeze and i look forward to working with her in the future!

The 1st time I came in Stacy and Lucas helped me out with the$6500 transaction On selling gold and silver And I thought to myself Hey this is a pretty good place. Then I came in today with placer gold from the river and the lady that was helping me tested it out to 18 karat gold which is normal. I brought in almost 12 g and she tried to offer me $271 which is what 10 carat gold is going for on a scrap calculator. Maybe if I didnt go in there and my work clothes she probably wouldnt treated me like a crackhead. I am honestly glad I did not bring all of my placer gold.

They valued my IWC portuguese rose gold watch for $70.This watch new is around $17,500She couldn’t find any information on eBay so she wasn’t interested in any of my watches.Why have a store if you use eBay for reference.Don’t waste your time going there.

The folks down there at Bellevue Rare Coins in Tacoma are the best. I went in a few months back for the pandemic was just starting convinced that our dollar was going to crash and I needed to buy metal so that I could use it to buy bread and milk later on. As thats not been the case I took it back and Im going to use the money for something else. What really impressed me the most is when I went back in there last week after it had been several months I walked in the door and they knew my name. Thats amazing.

We had silver service sets that we didnt want to move. Stacey inspected and weighed our sets and offered us a very fair price with no pressure to complete the transaction at that time. We took our silver home and thought about it and then returned to complete the transaction. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

After my dad passed away I was looking to sell coins and a few jewelry item. Stacy Webber at the Tacoma location was AMAZING to work with! I was nervous, not knowing what to expect. She made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. I highly recommend going in.

A great place to buy and sell gold, collectibles, coins, jewelry, etc. This location is new, but the business itself has been around for decades. The location is great - right off I-5 with plenty of free street parking. Would be a quick drive from JBLM/Lakewood/etc.I had a great experience overall. Im glad to have a trusted coin dealer in Tacoma now. Ive been going to Bellevue Rare Coins up in Seattle and Bellevue for years now, but this location is more convenient for me.I stopped in to check out the new location and get a quote on selling coins and some silver. The person who helped me was knowledgeable and informative, explaining to me what I had, what it was worth, and what they could offer me. Their quotes were competitive - way better than the cash for gold places on every other corner. I did my research beforehand, and they offered very close to what I could have gotten selling things individually on eBay (without all the hassle that that would entail).Selling gold or any other valuables can be stressful, but it was all pretty easy at Bellevue Rare Coins. I liked that they didnt seem pushy at all - it was just heres the book value/melt value, heres what we can offer. I ended up selling some of the stuff I brought in, and keeping some of it for my collection. They had no issue quoting everything and buying only part of it. They said they could pay cash or check, whatever I preferred.I didnt shop much but they seemed to have a good selection of jewelry, bullion, collectible coins, and some cool old bank notes/silver certificates. Not as wide of a selection as some of their other locations, but thats to be expected with a new store.

Best place to sell or get things evaluated. They were friendly, explained things when I had questions and gave me suggestions on what I could do with the things they couldnt purchase. Nice looking store. Very open. The staff treated us like we were going to steal coins. It was a very uncomfortable experience. We had just finished moving and we were a little ragged but they were ridiculous. We were trying to look at bulk buffalo nickels and they would only show us 5 at a time. We have never been treated that way at any coin shop, ever. I would not recommend them because they treat people who are not dressed to the 9s like they are trash.

I went in with a bag of silver coins, talked with a representative, and got to setting the coins out. I recommend that you ensure all coins are known, not hidden in a tube like I did. After all, American Eagle coins, for example, are worth more than generic silver rounds!They even took my silver certificate. In the end, by considering the current spot price of silver, and the price of the certificate (a dollar), we came to a fantastic price for me, the seller. I did not expect to get about $14 a troy ounce when the spot price was about $14.5, but there it was!Thankful to have sold to them, and they gave me a check that I deposited the same day.Alan

Went to sell them some coins and my boyfriend accidentally sold them two sets that he wasnt supposed to. In one set there were silver certificates and some other currency. When asked about them the staff swore they werent in there. These guys steal and then lie about it
