Even though there are many Les Schwab locations closer to my home, I always go out of my way to visit this location. It seems the management at this location runs a tight ship. I appreciate their competence and professionalism. Never been let down here.

Scheduled an 8 a.m. appointment to have my brakes checked. Arrived about ten minutes before the appointed time and was told it would take about 45 minutes. Approximately 25 minutes later was told the brakes were OK for now but a bit worn. They encouraged me to come back and have another check in about 6 or 7 thousand miles. I left with the sense that these guys will not try to sell you brakes or anything else if you dont need them. Impressed with their integrity. Will be back when brakes (and/or tires) are needed. Nice shop.

Every time I have a tire issue, this is the place I go. They always take care of puncture flats for free, and they give a good price on new tires.Honestly, the best part of the whole service are the folks that work there. There are these three dudes that remind me of Hank Hill from King of the Hill. If Hank had sold tires and tire accessories instead of propane, hed probably work here.Only bummer is that they dont seem to have the popcorn machine any longer. Minus -0.2 stars for that.

I am very happy with my new tires. I purchased a comparable set as what I had purchased 7 years back and also from Les Schwab. The service was fast and the front desk staff very helpful. I feel confident in my car in all kinds of conditions and will likely remain a continuous client of the brand, this easy to find, easily accessible store offered a very fast and effective experience.

We had a low tire pressure indicator come on with the cold weather, they efficiently checked it adjusted the pressure and we were on our way.

Edit: had to bring my car back in for a quick inspection and there are again customers inside without masks on. Im not sure what the issue is - if staff dont feel comfortable addressing this with customers or if they dont care. I will use a different Les Schwab location, further away from my house, if this location does not want to take public health seriously.Original post: I have been using Les Schwab (various locations) for at least 15 years. For the most part, I have been happy with their service and work. I brought my vehicle in to replace the rear brake pads. They told me 1.5 hours, which was great! I brought my laptop and was looking forward to getting some work done without distractions. Unfortunately, they are not following/enforcing masking. Several employees were either wearing their mask below their nose or taking it off completely to speak on the phone. Customers were not wearing masks properly and even one who was holding it in his hand instead of wearing it. I decided to leave while the work was done as not to potentially expose myself, but Im incredibly disappointed. This review would be 5 stars if it werent for the masking issue, which I take very seriously.

I had an appointment for a brake check and was there for over an hour and a half- I dont think it should take that long for just a brake check. It seems that more and more places dont care that an appointment was made, which really is unfortunate.

I purchased tires today, went to pay and asked if tires were siped. I was told no and given no other info on benefits of purchasing tires. I commented on their survey link that is on sales receipt envelop. I was called about 10 min later by Heath the manager. He explained the siping machine was broken and arranged for me to contact him next week and bring car back in to get siping done. He also assured me all benefits of tire purchase was same as it has always been. Was concerned that since Les Schwab Tires changed ownership that the quality of service was going to deteriorate. I have been to Les Schwab many times and have had very positive experiences. This time was different. I made an appointment on line for a 9:00AM appointment. I got there at 9:15. I was told this would be a two hour job. I was having them replace the valve stems on my 3500 sprinter RV dual rear wheels with extended steel stems to make them easier to check. I was leaving on a camping trip immediately after the work was to be completed. I got an Uber and ran a errand for one hour. When I got there I was told they don’t do appointments for tire jobs. First come first served. When I returned from my errand at 10:30 they had not started on the job yet. I told them if it was going to take 2 hours from them I would come back again, but was promised it would be ready in an hour. They completed the job at 12:30. When I looked at the tires, they had not installed a rubber stabilizer supplied with the kit. The manager told me they usually throw those away because they aren’t needed. The directions said it was important to use them. Also one of the stems was rubbing on the side of the rim which the directions said was a problem and could cause wear. I pointed this out and they said it shouldn’t be a problem. By that time I was over an hour late and had to leave. Disappointed to say the least

My brother had a customized Honda and we bring in the car for break replacement and when we get home, the breaks were loose and we had to push the pedal down all the way to the floor to stop, on top of that his amp cords were yanked from under the dash. Long story short, we will not be coming here again!!! Very disappointed,

Took 1 1/2 hours to fix a flat but quality work plus air conditioned waiting area with tv.

I noticed I had a flat tire at like 5 minutes to 5:00 on Friday night and called them and by 5:30 they had sent somebody to my house and aired my tire told me to come down to their store that somebody was still there and they would check my tire to make sure I had no leaks turns out it was the valve stem that was loose and that was all. Theyre amazing as always.

I don’t know how long the employees that work here will be here but I can honesty say they’re in the business of honesty and fairness. I was quoted 200ish dollars for some work; I took my vehicle to the Les Schwab in Lacey to get a second opinion and I was quoted 400ish. The people here are good as of March 2021; they have my business!

Great place with truly professional staff in appearance and knowledge who work hard. Great appt setting and true to the date and time. My project cars suspension is tuned differently then most and I added bump steer tie rods and custom lower control arms with tall offset ball joints. Aside from a few modifications I needed to address to gain clearance, they worked with me and offered experienced advice to clear my issues. My go to for all things suspension and rubber!!

Went to have tire pressure check on car I just bought. One seemed a little low. They checked all tires. The low one had been previously patched, but apparently not very well. They fixed it. And didnt charge me. Thats great customer service. Will definitely use them again.

They are always professional here, which is rare in this industry. They offered a free brake & tire check & were done very quickly. They not only didnt charge for the checkup, but they pulled a screw out of our tire at no charge. They certainly earned our future business.

This used to be my favorite place for...tires!NO MORE last time I went...after waiting 45 minutes after asking to patch a nail that was caught by the tire...the associate calls me up says...well here a quote $900 you should replace all 4 of your tires they look worn we didn’t even take the tire off the car...we could fix it we just won’t do it! Sad:) terrible service! They just want to make a profit and not help you! Hey if we can sell an unsuspecting customer new tires and we make a commission it sweet deal for us eh as tire shop...If that’s what worn tires look like to them that’s truly sad! :(First picture is with the nail in it towards left side!

I didnt have time to get the tires, but I WILL be back! Its so nice to go here for great help & prices, but their customer services is AAAMAAAZIIING! They treated me & other customers like we were royalty! No lie!! I dont know if all Les Schwabs are like this location, but Im more than sure they probably are. Been a few years since I got tires here and realize they are the best. I asked for new tires and they showed me the different tires for my vehicle and the prices. I then asked for an alignment since I never had one since I purchased my new vehicle 10 years and 172,000 miles ago. What surprised me was they checked my alignment and found it was fine, didn’t need to get one. Funny that the Ford dealership said I needed one. Guess who I’ll trust next time?

I was there 5 min to do an alignment and the guy barely got it up and said he couldnt because I needed a lower control arm on the passenger side he said he would call me with a quote but never did, so I made an appointment with a different location on 72nd in Tacoma and it turns out it wasnt a control arm at all it needed sway link bars and new tires 😆

We stopped by the 6th Avenue store to have our tires checked before heading across the country on vacation. The employee (we didnt get his name-sorry) checked our tires and suggested he check the air pressure of the the spare. I hadnt thought of that. The space saver spare was low on air and, wouldnt you know it, outside of Kennewick, WA we had a flat. Thanks to your employee we were able to change the tire, use the spare and get to the Les Schwab in Kennewick. Thanks for being so thorough.
