Before they even looked at my car I was told just get rid of it because it had high miles and was older (2006) I should have driven away after that. Once they had my car they replaced 2 seals and that came to over $500. I still had the exact same issues as when I brought it in. They did not look at what I told them might be the issue which btw ultimately was the problem and brushed off my idea probably cause Im a woman. I will NEVER EVER EVER set foot here againBottom line trust your gut and do your research.

Needed to get my headlight replaced and was quoted by other shops thousands of dollars to replace the entire thing- took it to this shop and got it diagnosed to find out it was a much simpler fix for about $300. He is fair and fast and beyond reasonable. Will not take my BMW anywhere else!!

I was lost trying to find a new place to have work done on my Mini Cooper clubman, and by fait I drove buy Marlons shop, I made a U turn and went inside, meeting Marlon in person he’s a really nice guy. I asked if he worked on Mini coopers he said yes told him what my problem was and he scheduled me for the work to be done, now I’m very iffy about finding new car techs but I took a chance and after having my Mini Cooper back from getting my timing chain replaced I’m happy cars running tight and good, so all you Mini Cooper drivers looking for a good mini tech NW autowork is where you should go, patronize his business he’s a good guy and a good tech. 2008 BMW 550iI started having issues with my transmission shifting hard between 1, 2, 3 gear eventually my transmission faulted and would no longer engage into Drive or Reverse. I called around several shops explained the symptoms and was told to bring the car down. I was told my car would be 7,500$ for a transmission rebuild and that they don’t rebuild transmissions in house and would have to send it out to be rebuilt and they’d install it. After searching the web for a third opinion, I came across NW Autowork! I read through several reviews and decided to give the shop a call. I explained the symptoms, I was having and was told my transmission was known for having a few common issues that don’t require a full rebuild just the replacement of a few affordable parts. Morlan the shop owner dropped the oil pan and didn’t find any metal shavings or serious signs of transmission damage. Turns out it had faulty solenoids that needed to be swapped out, the solenoid kit was 330$. I was told by two different shops 7,500-10k was needed to fix my car. NWAutoworks fixed my car for under 2k they are professionals, skilled mechanics that are passionate about BMW’s, I trust their opinion they are the real deal. I had my car back and on the road in 24hours.

My experience at NW Autowork was the best compared to any shop that I have been to that has worked on my car. Marlon is a very knowledgeable tech that knows BMWs. I went in for a lowering spring install and was very satisfied with the work, he also went ahead and pointed a few other things that I needed to pay attention too. Marlon was recommended to me through a friend. my preconceived notion was that i spend and arm and a leg on the repairs. but i was completely wrong, he fixed the original problem and then he also took his time for educate on common wears and tears of that particular vehicle. so long story short not only he fixed the problem he educated me and treated me like a valued customer. Ive had tremendous fortune finding Marlon to be my designated mechanic. It is very tough to find a mechanic that hits all the aspects everyone is looking for in a great mechanic and Marlons the one. Whenever you get that feeling of not knowing what to expect he always tells you honestly logically and works with everyone and does not charge those outrageous fees like 99% of all mechanics do. Recently brought in my 2000 BMW M5 and had a great experience with NW Autowork. NW Autowork installed full supersprint exhaust including headers, BMW Performance Big brake kit, coil overs, and replaced worn suspension components. Diagnosed and repair problem with keyless entry, thermostat and coolant leak. Very happy with how fast and efficient the repair and install happened. NW Autowork kept me informed and even sent me pictures as the installs happened. The cost was very reasonable and the work is above my expectations.

Went in for an oil change and an oil filter housing gasket replacement yesterday for my N54 powered BMW 335i. Marlon was very accommodative and even set me up a desk to wrap up my office work. The expireience I had with nw autoworks far exceeds any expirience I’ve had with Bmw service..I have a 2010 x5 that had a lot of problems to say the least. I had a oil change in Arizona at a Mercedes dealership and they stripped the bolt to the oil pan and used a really sub par oil filter. I didn’t notice for a while 10,000 miles later as I wasn’t driving it as much up here in the nw. I did notice a leak but ignored it.One day the car wouldn’t start. Brought it to Bmw and they quoted me 4800 just to get started as the oil filter was ruined and the oil soaked the starter andThe altinator.. not to mention the frm module went out as well. Marlin the mechanic was able to replace the bolt, he didn’t have to replace the whole oil pan as Bmw wanted me to do. He was able to get it all done for half the price with an oil change.. Bmw wouldn’t replace the frm module even though they should have recalled the part as it gives every Bmw a promblem. Bmw wanted a grand.. Marlin did it for half. He’s a master machanic and worked for Bmw so he really knows his stuff. Not a small feet becoming a master machanic.. He took pics the whole time of everything that was wrong and kept me in the loop the whole time. I’ve had European cars my adult life and spent fourtunes fixing them. This by far was an incredible experience and didn’t cost a kidney. Marlin is the best.. I will always go back to him as the Bmw runs better now than it ever has. Thanks marlin.

THE BEST. My clutch went out in my mazda. I thought I was going to have a heartattack when calling around the local tacoma mechanic shops getting quotes on pricing to get my car back running. Not only that but most of the shops that I contacted told me it would be a 1-2 week job!! Then I came across NW Auto Work. I called them and Marlon the mechanic was very pleasant. He was polite and honest and gave me peace of mind after having very unpleasant conversations with the rest of the mechanics in tacoma. Took my junker 2006 Stratus for maintenance and got back a commuter car I can trust. The car was sputtering when I tried to jump into traffic. Now it drives well. The air conditioner broke and Marlon fixed that too. I was with my last mechanic for 15 years and I will be with Marlon just as long.
