I found the used car I wanted on Autotrader and gave Dave White Acura a call to get more info. I spoke to Michael to get some basic info on the car and then set up an appointment for my wife and I to test drive the car.The car was exactly as described in the ad and we bought it shortly after the test drive. The price was the best I found for the model and trim I was looking for! Michael made the buying experience very easy and low stress and Eric, the finance manager was able to get me a rate that was very close to what my credit union offered. Perfect! My wife and I were done and driving home pretty quickly! Easily the best car buying experience Ive had!Be sure to give Michael a call and see what Dave White Acura has to offer!

I ran over a large piece of metal on the turnpike while visiting Toledo. Jose, the service manager at Dave White, fit me in to his busy schedule to inspect my Acura for damage. Larry Sampson gave it a thorough look over, told me what I had to do when I got home, and assured me my car was safe to drive. Thank you both for your professionalism, friendliness and honesty!

Thought they were great to work with. They did find the Apex Blue A Spec I wanted and even had it ready early. Everyone was friendly and helpful but.........Amending my review:Purchased a wheel & tire warranty with my new Acura lease. Tried to use the warranty 3 months later only to be told it was cancelled...the day after I bought the car! When I confronted them about it I got a lot of run around and insinuation I chose to cancel. Why would I call you angry if I chose to cancel it? I pay extra on my lease payment for it, why would I cancel it with no refund?Also had issues with the title because I live in MI. I was told they could take care of the plate transfer/title then when I get there its a different story. Had to lose a day of work to go resolve myself. Then the dealer calls me 2 months later asking where the title is (Acura was looking for it) Long story short, the woman that called me says they could of done the transfer themselves and that my salesman says I had a personalized plate and Id do it myself I do not have a personalized plate.

Ive car shopped at a few places recently and none of those places on central (will remain nameless) felt great to deal with like Dave White Acura. The appointment set up was great with calls and text, I love the communication. The store was clean and looked great. My sales rep Daryl Bollin was professional and was very willing to work with me. We had a easy dialogue in what I wanted from the car. Eric Kost the Sales MGR was very warm and explain what hurdles we needed to clear. Im happy with who I worked with in my purchase. If you are looking for a car, give them a look.

I financed/leased three vehicles from Dave white Acura so far. All false promises and shady conversations from them both at sales and service department. Filed two complaints with Acura customer services, waiting to here back from them. They are not as sweet as they talk. I strongly advice to stay away from this dealer and look something near by like Ann Arbor.I can write a small book about these guys with all my bad experiences. Even a single star rating is too much. I think the good ratings they received may be due to how sweet they talk, do not believe that.

Dealers at Dave White Acura are nice but unprofessional. Managements are poor in communicating with customers. I purchased a certified MDX. When I received the vehicle, the hazard light didn’t work. And I paid to repair it. I called the dealer if there’s any way to get a refund. What I listened from him is there’s nothing they can do. I called his boss, the sales manager. But he didn’t even know what the problem is even though the dealer reported it to him. Seems he is never interested in customer’s complaint. He transferred my call to the service manager. Same answer there’s nothing he can do. Nobody in sales and service department checked my car condition before delivering it to me and I had to pay to repair my newly purchased CERTIFIED MDX.

The sale:We made our first purchase in 2008. It was the car we fell in love with at first, for sure, but then we discovered the dealership. WOW! This is how purchasing a vehicle should be, always. The sales team is available and responsive, but never overbearing. They know their vehicles inside and out, bumper to bumper. You have a question; it will be answered. Promptly, intelligently and courteously.The entire process was pleasant. Yes, you read that correctly. We purchased a used car, and the process was entirely pleasant. Since that first purchase of a used vehicle, we have purchased new vehicles and also leased. Our original salesperson has retired, and since then we have been well taken care of by Daryl Bollin. Of course, Daryl does occasionally take a day off and we have been taken care of very well in his absence, allowing me to state that every salesperson we have encountered has been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable – regardless of whether it is their sale or not. This, folks, is one of the many things that sets this dealership apart.The continuing service:How about the drop-in? I have dropped in with questions about the technical aspects of my car. I do not feel like a fool doing this because everyone there is always happy to show me exactly what I need to know. Also, a quick car wash is a courtesy they offer that also sets them apart. Yes, I drop in with questions about how my new car loads my CDs into the hard drive (what??), the entire process is explained and demonstrated, and while my car gets a wash, I enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and sometimes even a donut in their clean and comfortable waiting room.Since that first purchase, we have been back twice for new vehicles. Yes, only twice in close to more than ten years. Why? Where else did we go? Nowhere. We love our vehicles so much that we keep them. Here is another reason – the Service Department at Dave White Acura is second to none.The service department:Regular maintenance, the rare factory recall, the even more rare actual issue – this is where our cars want to go. This is where we want them to go. The call is answered, the appointment is made, a night drop off is possible, a courtesy car is available if necessary. All this is great, but where this department really shines would be the people. Scott Sulier is a fantastic service manager. He takes care of business, explains things clearly and in detail and cars are ready in a very timely manner. Another standout José Sosa. He has been there a long time and not only really knows his vehicles, but he is also just so very pleasant to work with.A final thought:The courtesy of the entire staff is second to none. Whether you are in the market for the latest fancy pants Acura or a solid used car, this is the dealership to beat in every way. Importantly, every person here treats every guest to the lot with kindness and respect.

Had my car detailed there for a second time and continuously get back as if I just purchased it. They do a great job on exterior and did help buff out certain focus areas. Interior cleaning was prestige and looking brand new. I have a toddler and 3-100 pound hairy dogs and you would never know after the complete detail. I prefer to write reviews either I am too satisfied with the service or I am extremely disappointed. This review is regarding the disappointment I had not with Dave White Acura but with the person sitting inside the cabin whom I never met but probably the terrible experience helped me to paint his professional personality.I am not sure if others had similar experience but it’s worth spending few minutes to share mine as it was pretty disappointing. So here it is:I visited in person to the dealership to inquire about some leasing options about Acura MDX and met with a decent person named Jose. I liked overall hospitality and he has been really nice helping me with the options and pricing details. During our price negotiation, he went inside to discuss the pricing with his manager and came back with revised quote. I was shocked to see the first quote as it was no where close to a reasonable leasing price and I kind of started loosing my trust. The 2nd quote was $200 less from the first one and I still felt it was pretty high as there was no change in the residual value, still ok as it’s all about negotiation and coming to a point which is a win-win for both. Keeping the time in mind, I wrote my number and mentioned this is my max for this trim and asked if that works. Jose again went to his manager and with what he came back is the trigger for such a long review comment.He came with the same paper in hand having my numbers (requested quote) crossed in RED color. Come on, how can you be so unprofessional and disgusting. Please have some manners, I don’t know who was that person to do an ugly drawing but I didn’t feel like spending a min more having further discussion. And see this is where I landed up writing this review and sharing the experience.TO THE MANAGER WITH UGLY DRAWINGS:I hope you would remember and wouldn’t do this with any other customer. Otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised that you will have more feedback like this in future. So please be professional and don’t spoil the name of the dealership.I request the dealership owner to get in touch with Jose and share this feedback with respective manager. I would warn against going here if you’re a single female. I am a single expecting female looking for an SUV. The finance and sales manager, Eric, tried to “high pressure” me into making a decision that night for a car I test drove. I had to finally get angry and say no AGAIN for the sixth or seventh time before he stopped. I have been SUV shopping for months all around Toledo and have yet to run into this kind of behavior from any other dealership. Extremely appalled that this would still happen. Any potential business they would have received from me is gone, this dealership has made me feel extremely uncomfortable and made me realize why people have turned to other sources of buying cars. I would rather taxi to work than give any commission to a guy who thinks he can target what he sees as a vulnerable person.

I purchased my Acura in 2005 and they have done all the routine maintenance. I also have them do the brakes, tires and battery. They have consistently provided me with professional excellence, courtesy and honesty. The service manager takes the time to answer all of my questions and I never. feel rushed. The young woman that was our dealer, did everything thing well! She listened to my wife and daughters trepidations, she made us all feel comfortable and casual. She actually listened and didnt step on their answers. Emerson said, Every man I meet is my superior in some way. Even though she knew more about the car, showed us its technologies and capabilities, she wanted to hear our story. She was concerned about my daughters safety. As my daughter continues to fullfil her work in the ministry I cant help but think sometimes good people are put in our path for reason.

Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! We live about 2.5 hours away in Michigan. We called on a car on a Saturday morning only to be told that it was in being detailed and wouldnt be available to see until Monday. They were nice enough to send me pictures prior to detailing just so I could be sure I was interested. Due to the dealership being in a different state, and the fact that we have three kiddos who all have things going on, it was looking like we werent going to be able to drive to Ohio until the following weekend. Out of the blue I get a phone call from the salesman, Ben, saying he would be happy to drive the car TO OUR HOUSE for us to test drive it! So two days later, at a time convenient for us, Ben showed up and I got to test drive the car. The price of the car was below what we were expecting to pay, and the car was in excellent condition. Having Ben drive over 5 hours round-trip was the icing on the cake. We told him we would be purchasing the car, and that we would bring the money out on that Saturday to pick up the car. Our young daughter has cerebral palsy, and trying to choreograph logistics that was the earliest we would be able to come out. On Wednesday, right after a particularly emotional phone call about surgeries, Bens Sales Manager Greg called me. He was reaching out to see if I wouldnt mind if he just had a couple of drivers bring the car to me. I am not a crier, but I burst into tears! They didnt know about my daughter, and how stressful things could be, but they did everything in their power to make buying this car the easiest thing I have ever done! Two trips out in 4 days, lots of communication between us and the dealership, and even follow up calls to see how my daughter was, makes me a loyal customer to Dave White Acura!

Bought a used car here. Jose was very friendly and good to deal with. Sometimes he would take a little longer than expected to get back with me, but overall very good. The car I bought had 4 main issues. Two i discovered before and two I discovered after I bought the car. The first two were extremely worn tires, and a rear shock that was bad. This was discovered on the test drive. We negotiated that they pay for the tires, I ended up paying for the shock which was $800. The other two issued I discovered immediately after getting home. The air conditioning didnt work, and the left rear door had no power to it. Meaning the power window, the lock, and light on that door didnt work. These are both things that I should have noticed and the dealer shouldve noticed as well. The day I got the car though it wasnt hot so I didnt notice the air conditioning. The dealer claimed the air conditioning worked for them while they had the car for the couple weeks I took delivery of it. Well, I ended up having to take it to a Porsche dealer and they discovered that the fuse was missing from the car. All they had to do was place a new one in there. So obviously David White was wrong about it working before. On the initial inspection sheet when I first test drove the car, I was shown that everything was in working order when they took delivery of the trade in. So dont believe that. The electrical issue with the door ended up being a missing fuse as well! I was able to replace that myself. I did let the dealer know that I had these issues, and asked to speak with the manager about it. He never got back to me, but my sales person Jose, a day later. To be fair, my sales person was off that day I talked to a manager. But a courteous manager would had at least gotten back to me that day or the next to resolve an issue. Overall, everyone was very friendly, but I feel they tried to pawn off the air conditioning not working on me.

Complete garbage, and took shadyness to a whole new extreme.Was in the market for a used minivan. After MONTHS of searching, we thought we finally found the one. I inquired, and was contacted immediately. Chris Basilius helped us, and I thought he went above and beyond. He worked around our schedule, and we figured out a time to come see the vehicle we inquired about. The issue we were waiting on, was the van needed a new battery. So we chose to wait until it was installed, naturally.We show up, and lets add, Im 9 months pregnant at the time. We go out to take it for a spin (it was for some reason already running, which I found odd) Chris rode with us, he was great. The van was actually over our budget, and they didnt want to step down on the price. We decided to go with it anyway, I thought at the time that we could actually trust a dealership for once, and purchased it, for over 10 grand cash. While we filled out paperwork, they left the van running (which I didnt realize until we signed everything, and again, thought it was SUPER weird)Fast forward a week later, low and behold, of course the van is taking a dump. As we were driving, with our newborn on board, the engine started to act as though the transmission was going out. Knock on wood, it wasnt (although Im sure, after I post this, it will)We have had the van for 12 weeks now, and this is what weve had to replace---THE BATTERY!- The new one they installed was the wrong size!!Head gasketNew brakesCaliperAnd we arent done there! It has an issue starting from time to time. Once the brake and caliper are replaced, we will work on the next thing.My issue--They left it running for a reason, they knew what was wrong with this vehicle. I emailed, complaining, and all they could offer, was to have it towed to their shop, so we could pay to have it fixed (HA! NO THANKS!) I have never seen a more shady dealership, in my life. No one has reached out, other than Chris emailing me asking if we got it fixed..I figured the manager would, but no. Dont EVER EVER EVER buy used from here, they clearly took advantage of us!

Do not buy a car from this place !! They will straight out lie to you to sell you a car . I bought a certified used car here . Within three months I had to put over $1800.00 into it. Rims were bent very bad .it cost $600 for rims and installation . Timming belt, water pump, all the pullys, tensioner, main oil seal, cam seals $1200.00. Break pads and rotors $150.00, They told me they went over the car and it was in very good condition . And it took over a month to get my title from them . This is a shady operation at best!

Efficient, friendly, professional service. They’ve been serving my Acura for years. It’s a bit more pricey than the local shop, but they do a complimentary multipoint inspection with each oil change and the car is returned to me vacuumed and washed. So, it’s well worth the minor additional expense. I’m a big fan of this place for service.

Jose is just awesome! He took the time and patience to walk us through all of the features of our new TLX. He stayed past closing to make sure we had everything we needed before we drove her home. Excellent and friendly service all the way around! From the first phone call we made, Crystal took us in like family, showing that she actually cared about us. There were no sales gimmicks, no unwanted pressure, and no over the top, pushy tactics to her approach. She simply welcomed us, and promised to do everything in her power to get us approved and into the vehicle that was right for our family. I am very pleased to say that she did exactly that! Honestly, my wife and I thought there was no way we were going to get approved, and even if we did, we knew it would be a vehicle we didnt really want, a ridiculous down payment, or a monthly payment we could never afford. Scott in service, went above and beyond the call of his duties to help me find a leak in the drivers door of my car. It was dripping right in my lap. He spent at least an hour and a half helping me track it down. Finally he found it and I couldnt be happier with my experience. Let me start with, Id put 0 stars if I could. Now, dont get me wrong, theyre a nice bunch of guys, but at the end of the day, theyre slimy, deceptive, and out for themselves. I traded in my vehicle for a used 2007 Acura TL, and let me tell you, what they are willing to give for a trade is preposterous, however, being as I didnt really like my old car, and that Ive had a TL before, I really wanted the car so I took a loss there. The car itself seemed pretty clean, inside and out. I took it for a test drive, (it was colder, around 40 degrees), and right away, I knew the tires were worn. They were noisy, and had a slight steering wobble. When I confronted them about the tires, they claimed that the tires on the car just had an aggressive tread pattern which, I decided to somewhat believe being the temperature was cold out, and the noise and wobble got better after the highway test drive. Being the weekend, my mechanic was out so I just crawled under the car to feel for any leaks (had the same exact car so I knew where everything was). The plastic transmission cover that covers the transmission has holes, so you can feel for leaks, and the plastic cover along with the oil pan were dry. I said what the heck, I love the car, so I went for it. Fast forward about 2 weeks when I needed to do my oil change, I glanced over at the transmission cover and decided to pull it off since, now that Im under the car, I can clearly see OIL on the TRANSMISSION pan... and lo and behold, I pull the plastic cover off to find that they had poured absorbent sand (kitty litter) in the plastic cover to mitigate/hide the leak. Naturally, this upset me quite a bit as I made the silly decision to believe even half of what they told me. I take it to my mechanic, and its leaking from the rear main seal. Now, its a $9 part, but around 16 hours of labor, so it ends up being a pretty expensive job. They obviously refused to make it right, I spoke with the manager Greg, which wasnt helpful whatsoever, and just kept pointing the finger anywhere else he could think of. When confronted about it, they obviously played the oh we dont do that sort of stuff here game, when I know for fact they did all the maintenance on the car since 50000 miles according to the carfax (it had 100000 when I purchased it) and the last thing on the carfax report said transmission fluid replaced at 90000 miles, so unless their technicians are blind, you cant miss it. The inspection paper also said no leaks, and that everything was fine. Huge and utter lie, and they refused to fess up to it. The manager even said hed call the previous owner to see if his son did it. Like, come on, they couldnt even own up to their own technicians slimy cover-up. At the end of the day, I never got a call back, as promised, and I dont plan on ever going back to this dealership again. Which is a shame, theyve done work on my cars before (recalls), and I never had an issue. The slimy, deceptive, and utterly grimy things they try to pull on customers is absolutely preposterous, and rest assured none of my friends and family will ever purchase a vehicle from them.

I felt so welcomed and comfortable! I wont go anywhere else; I get all my services done here! If I could give this place 0 stars I would but it’s not an option. This place sold my mom a brand new truck that was hit and had bondo in the door and then a couple years later my friend buys a Acura from them and they used kitty litter to hide the oil leak! By far the most manipulative, conniving car place I have ever seen in my life.

Took in my 2009 TL about a year ago and had a horrible experience. They never put protective mats down and permanently stained my mats with black sludge and also got stains on the lining of the roof. They never checked the tire pressure and I was told they couldnt find a issue that I was having with my steering colum clunking. Took it to Brown Honda and they immediately found the issue and took care of it! This car is my first car and the treatment I got here was horrifying to me. If I ever decide to get another Acura I will go to Ann Arbor.

Jose Sosa was both our salesperson and service representative when we just purchased a 2016 precertified Acura RDX. Jose appeared to be very knowledgable about service issues and answered our questions.One thing we noticed was the good character of Jose when talking to another customer about his car that was being serviced. Jose knelt down next to this older man who was having an older vehicle serviced, looked him in the eye, and kept him informed about the progress. Joses approach was so sincere and we want to compliment him on that.Service is one main reason why we purchased the vehicle from Dave White - (We were torn between the Acura and a used Audi Q3 from another dealership), We appreciate personal and sincere service and look forward to having future regular maintenance completed at Dave White.

I want to start out by saying my experience with Dave White has been the best in town! I did all my business through Crystal Lee and she couldnt have done a better job! Im coming from a terrible situation that another dealership put me in and it wasnt an easy job. Crystal worked with me for so long to do what she had to do and talk to banks and all the back and forths to be sure i got what i wanted, the car i wanted, the payment and so on. Coming from a dealership that totally took advantage of me i am very skeptical on dealerships but i would recommend going here to anyone!!!!!!!! They have an amazing team together and can make things happen!

Recently bought a car here.Majority of the staff was great. The finance guy (sorry I forgot your name!) was really friendly, respectful, and fast. He was also able to get me in a car when most places couldnt.Crystal the sales girl was also really great. She was friendly, clear, and communicative. Easy to talk to and worked hard to help me. She even stayed later than she needed to to make sure I was satisfied.I dont give it 5 stars because of my encounter with the sales manager, Chad.I traded in a car as part of my purchase, and in the middle of the paperwork this gentleman was given my key and fob to go test it out. At the end of the sale, I went to transfer my belongings from the trunk of the old car to the new one. For some reason I was given back just the key and not the fob. The trunk wouldnt open,even though I had never had an issue with the trunk in the cars long life. The lock wouldnt even budge with the key. I asked him if he knew what was going on and said it was probably a fuse, and hed have his service guys check it out and call me in the morning.Late afternoon rolls around the next day, and I havent heard anything so I call in. Hes tells me theyve been busy and havent been able to get it open - understandable. But he tells me its going to be shipped off to auction soon one way or the other. He was pretty callous when I tried to get advice as to what to do, but said hed have the service guys pull the seat open for me. Granted, he isnt required to give a care about my predicament, but it was rather off putting after the service I had received from everyone else.So at this point, I get ahold of a friend to help me get the stuff out through the seat. I explain what is going on, and he immediately says that it just sounds like the valet lock is set. I guess this is a lock you can manually flip so that valets cant get in your trunk. He says all you have to do is open it with the fob. I told him they had it, and he offered to bring along a programmable one. We go there, he works his magic in about 30 seconds, and it pops right open. He checks it out, and sure enough, the valet lock was flipped.Im not accusing anyone of intentional malice, but it doesnt seem as though much care or effort went into it either. The friend who got the trunk open was of the opinion that most knowledgeable sale managers or service guys would know about it as he did. Perhaps not though.Overall I liked my experience here, and will most likely recommend my friends.

Told me that my something was wrong with my car and charged 130 dollars for the inspection and was told it would be 550 to fix it. They fixed half of the problem and said the other half of their inspection was wrong then charged me 250 and said I would have to pay another 130 dollars for another inspection.

Update:1 week after I purchased the car, noticed it had a small chip in the windshield. I called dealership to find out if this was covered under my 30 days warranty and was told this was pre-existing. Salesman recommended I call my insurance company.________________________________________________________________________Jose Sosa is the man. Got a used Acura, 2k under bluebook. No messing around, sold me on price, not payments, which is an honest, straightforward way of doing business. Helped me get the interest rate I was looking for too. Chad Plontz also a pleasure to deal with. This is my familys 2nd purchase from the White Family of dealerships, and definitely wont be the last.
