I first shared my experience with Extra space storage about a month ago. Briefly I’d like to say that was legendary service. Today was my final day of need for the unit I used and I went to the office to checkout. Low and behold I met another wonderful woman named Aaliyah who was also experienced in her work. She immediately noticed my uneasiness and lack of knowledge about checking out. She giggled and made me laugh with a kind hearted joke about my pink girls bike in my manly truck. Something to the effect of nice bike sir. Lol 😂 So anyways she helped me out with my leaving the unit open and clean without incurring other charges. Thank you Aaliyah . You too were awesome 👏🏼..Thank you Extra Space Storage for being there in my time of need..

This is a wonderful storage facility! I could tell from the first moment - the office (and entire facility) is immaculately clean, well organized, well stocked, and the staff was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. Mark is fantastic, and he runs this place so well. I have used other facilities in the past, and I always dreaded having to visit or trying to reach someone in the office. At Extra Space, Ive always been able to reach someone in the office quickly - both on the phone and in person.- and Ive enjoyed visiting because they make it such a nice experience. All of the staff is friendly and helpful, and I love how clean, safe (cameras everywhere), and high-tech it is. We used their online app to enter and leave with the electric gate, and we used it for accessing our storage unit. Its great to not worry about what you did with the keys or what the entry code is - just use the app. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage in Sunnyvale!

This is pretty wonderful property and super friendly staff in the office. We took the climate controlled unit for our apartment stuff. Aliyah helped us with the tour of the storage units that would fit for our need and walked us through the whole process. The whole leasing process was super easy for us (it was our first time dealing with self storage).

My mom had 2 large rental spots for a few years at Extra Space storage. She recently passed away and Im here going through the storage units. Its extremely hot out here and Aaliyah, an employee, offered me a very cold cup of water. So awesome! The customer service here is superior. Ive been here twice and both times staff was extremely helpful.

I’ve been renting a storage unit with extraspace on 106 Lawrence Station Road in Sunnyvale, CA for the past 4 months now. Although I don’t like how the rate for my unit increases gradually, I just want to say that the staff here are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I came across an issue concerning the date my rent was due for the unit and Aaliyah and Mark helped me figure things out quickly. They were very supportive, gracious and kind. In my experience with other storage facilities, most employees were not interested, nor considerate of the struggles people were having, nor did they take the initiative or put forth any effort to help resolve things. But the way Aaliyah handled my situation and how Mark came forward, offering his assistance in solving the problem, was unheard of. Thank you, both of you, for helping to provide some peace during these chaotic times.. You guys definitely deserve a raise!

Due to the busy schedule, it was difficulty for me to pick up my belongings. I called extra storage and the lady who picked up allowed me to pick my stuff up a day before my card would have been charged. Ive had a great experience, getting set up and another great experience going out. Definitely would come back again if need. Best damn storage facility you will find in the bay area without a doubt! I have rented storages from numerous self storage facilities & I have to say this is by far the best one I have rented at! The on site manager is A+ professional & helpful! And his assistant, E she is the best assistant they have had here! Always professional, always helpful & always has a smile on her face. The two of them work hard to keep the facility clean & act quick to answer questions or concerns that are brought to their attention. I Cant say they are the cheapest self storage to rent from but, the fee extra dollars is well worth it knowing the facility has good security great staff and a perfect location for my convenience!

The property is really cool very clean and easy to access. The property care takers Aliya and Brian are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend you keeping your stuff safe in this property.

I reserved my unit online and completed the super easy application process. My unit was ready in less than 20 minutes. I got a call from the staff who was super friendly and helpful to ensure I had everything I needed. They even have an app to open the gate so you dont have to key in your code. This is a great facility.

Our experience has been completely seamless and the facility is extremely clean. Aaliyah is outstanding; highly recommend.

The staff, Aaliyah and Mark, are very nice and helpful. I was able to access the units with no problems. Although the extraspace phone app, which is required to operate the bluetooth units, can be finicky at times, I was able to access my unit with a bit of patience.There are sketchy people roaming on the property after dark, though. I recommend solo females visit during day time if possible.

When I pulled in to the parking lot after winning my first locker auction, I wasnt sure what to expect, but seeing a clean, secure facility was a great first impression. From the moment we entered the office, Elena and Mark were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth experience, and were a great help throughout the entire process. They were excited for our finds, and more than ready to send the previous owner their personal items. I couldnt have asked for a better first experience than I had at Extra Space storage. I had posted just a rating of 3 stars (its OK), but the canned response from the owner asking how they could earn 5 stars prompted me to add a review. I expect others have a better experience with this property and that my troubles are relatively isolated. All things considered, I think my experience is worth sharing.After moving in, my rent went up sharply. This seems to be the nature of the business, so I dont know how much I can really complain about it.However, at one point, construction at the property required a new trench to be dug. In front of my unit, they excavated more for an underground vault box. This caused asphalt dust and debris to be blown into my unit with enough pressure that it covered everything, even at the back, 30 feet from the door.All of my stuff was now filthy and sticky (and essentially inaccessible). Because Extra Space was responsible for causing the mess, I wanted it to clean it. The on-site manager told me I was on my own to find a company to clean it, and offered a months rent, which was a fraction of what it would cost to clean this mess. I like the on-site staff, but this showed me that they have limited authority to resolve problems, and not of this magnitude.I got to try to resolve this with a regional manager. At first, he didnt even acknowledge his liability. Extra Space Storage finally got my stuff cleaned by the end of 2020. At this point, I dont even remember how many months or years it took, but my stuff was essentially inaccessible until then; the regional manager really ignored this part.If you want a higher opinion from me, how about refunding my rent for the time my stuff was held hostage under your sticky mess?

Mark and Elena, the front desk staff, are awesome. This is my first time renting a storage unit, and they made the process easy and seamless. Extra Space Storage uses an app to unlock gates and keep track of visitors to the unit. Everything is hi-tech. I am happy I found Extra Space Storage.

While shopping for Storage, I called and then visited Extra Space to look at the unit and the location. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff (both manager Mark and his assistant), who were fun to talk to, showed me around, and were very accommodating. Im still shopping around but this location definitely had the friendliest management.

I currently have both a storage unit and my vehicle stored at this facility. I have received excellent customer service from day one.They use some pretty cool technology that allows you to enter your unit with your phone (via their app), or you can opt for a traditional lock.The facility is fenced in which I love. I feel comfortable leaving my vehicle unlocked while I run up and do multiple trips to the unit.

I recommended this location ! Oh for the Extra Space Storage, I got there and Liz was the one helped me within 20 minutes or so then moved in! She is very nice and so understanding for my situation. The location is perfect near Costco ! I really love this place and staff so professional and great service ! I definitely go back there again if need more storage ! :)

The rent was simple, The unit is as described on rental agreement, with high ceilings so there is plenty of space. Location is easily accessible from 101 via Lawrence expy.The facilities are clean and seem to be secure. The only downside no working restrooms on premises.

Extra Space Storage is exactly what I would want from a storage unit in the bay. Spacious units with low prices and a friendly team. It took me less than a half hour to get the unit, lock, code, and be ready to move my stuff in. The hours are reasonable and coverage is straightforward. Only bummer is its right behind Costco but I wont be visiting the unit often so I wont have to deal with that traffic.

I want to thank Elena for showing me the trailer spacesShe answer me every single question, she is very kind, unfortunately the space didn’t work for me but Elena and Mark check other storages around the area to find something for me. Thank you so much.

These guys have been wonderful, understanding, patient, compassionate, professional and helpful. These guys go above and beyond on a daily to do whatever it is they can do to help make your experience a better one and for that I am truly grateful and thankful to the awesome Extra space storage team at Lawrence Station Road in Santa Clara, Ca.!No drama no hassle no fuss just excellent customer service always with the smile! This is the only place I’ve ever had to store any of my belongings so I didn’t have any expectations but everyone I interacted with was so friendly! They are super helpful in answering questions over the phone, and when I came to get checked in, Liz was so friendly and cheerful and made the whole process so easy. The unit was pretty clean and tucked away so I felt like my things were safe.

I moved here from San Diego this month and came across Extra Space Storage. When I called to check prices I spoke with Liz. She went into detail about size and pricing to ensure I got the right one. Upon arrival at Extra Space in Sunnyvale Liz greeted me and gave me the tour and showed me the unit I requested. The unit I originally wanted was smaller than what I needed (as she suspected). We then proceeded to another unit on (the golf cart). I was very happy and impressed with her navigation and safe driving skills of the golf cart. Liz then showed me the unit that I needed and it was a PERFECT match. We proceeded back to the office to fill out paperwork. Liz explained the details of each document to ensure that I understood what I was signing. The whole process went smoothly thanks to Liz. I have no idea who this Mark guy is that everyone keeps talking about. But Liz made made time to make sure that I was 100% informed,my business was valued, and that all of my concerns were answered. Thank you Liz for your outstanding service. Everyone should stop by here if theyre looking into storage solutions. Im confident Liz and maybe Mark, Marcus, Michael or whatever is name is can help.

All of my transactions were clear and easy to understand, and my unit was very reasonably priced. I moved out prior to the end of my prepaid contract and they said that they would promptly refund me my balance. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage and the staff at my location was great!
