Today is November 4th 2021 brought by my car to get my oil changed. I am so surprised with the service here these guys are great they even went out of their way and checking other fluids for me and putting air in tire which I was not expecting at all . All this with a great attitude and smile on their face. Definitely coming back.

Highly recommend! Andrew and Jesse are honest and so nice to deal with. My car died and the Ford dealer wanted $250 just to drop the car off. A neighbor recommended Spee Dee. The mechanic saw me right away and thoroughly inspected my car. He said there was nothing wrong with the car. Battery wires loose and they only charged me $50. Car is back to perfect.So happy to have a new mechanic I trust. They could have charged me $500 and lied about work but they didn’t. Honest, professional and great customer service.Definitely recommend!!

I have had my two cars serviced here twice so far. Both times the experience was easy and smooth. The quotes provided initially was the final quote both time and though they tried to upsell me on the service and oil used, it wasnt very pushy or annoying. I guess the normal procedure for auto service stores. The staff is professional, explains everything. Also changed wiper blades on one of the cars. Very satisfied.

Refused to service me and told me to go away in a very rude manner for no reason. I dont even know what has happened, I just asked if they can check my transmission fluid, they told me the price, then looked around, and told me to leave in a very rude manner??? The price is also a little above average, which is fine for me, but for the attitude that they treated me I would not recommend.

I took my Lexus ES 300h for oil change. The service was super fast, in and out, but the price was a little to high for Chevron synthetic oil and filter for $96. After driving away I noticed that my car feel like driving in a tank, so I stopped and check the display support and my tired pressure was 42 PSI which so high and dangerous to drive. I checked my tires and door panel for recommended pressure to confirm (recommended is 33 psi). I went back to tell them that they should know better when they do pressure check. So, the mechanic asked me what pressure do i need and I was surprised that he even asked me that. I responded: You are the mechanic and you should know. He said to me: How do I know this your car. He changed the pressure and leaving away this place pressure was not right, still high 36psi. Really disappointed. Not going go back.

Twain at SpeeDee is extremely dedicated and enthusiastic about fixing any car issues you might have. My car didnt pass its smog test, and he helped a lot by running diagnostics and finally getting it to pass (it had been sitting too long without being driven). More than the task, I liked Twains enthusiasm and interest in my problem. I would go back to SpeeDee for all my repairs and tests.

I called SpeeDee after calling a few locations in Sunnyvale. They were the first company to:1) Answer the phone promptly and politely!2) Gave straight to the point answers and pricing.Not only were they the cheapest quote, I chose to go there based on the fact that they were so friendly on the phone.Upon check in at noon on Monday (a very impacted time), they gave me a quote of 45 minutes by the mechanic who checked me in. He was honest about synthetic oil but wasnt trying to persuade me otherwise. I was out of there in 35 minutes, car key in hand.Mario (I think that was his name) was doing his first week as a cashier and was very personable.My car was previously tuned at a SpeeDee in Davis and I dont know why I didnt trust my gut and just go to the one in Sunnyvale.Hardworking company, honest individuals who were there, and overall, great service.PS: Remember to THANK the workers. They are the true MVPs during these times.

I have never been so impressed with customer service. This is the only place I take my car for oil changes or any mechanical issues that arise and today was another reminder of why I have made that decision. I mentioned to Andrew, when I arrived, that I would be taking a cross-country trip in my vehicle. Not only did he change my oil in a prompt manner, I was also informed that they provide a car wash service for a small fee, making my completion of tasks before leaving much shorter. The service and additional attention to details to make certain my car was prepared for my trip was outstanding. Best place to get an oil change! In fact, best place to get a lot of maintenance done on my vehicle. Mechanics at SpeeDee are knowledgeable and take the time to show me the damaged parts they replaced- such as my front axle and my clutch. I have an older vehicle and SpeeDee always manages to replace what I need in a timely manner. If you get there early enough they even have loaner vehicles to borrow while your car is being maintenanced. Super convenient, well priced, and great quality. Never had a problem when I take my vehicle to SpeeDee. Highly recommend!

Very unprofessional attitude from a staff member. The business close at 4 pm and got there at 3:20 for the oil change. (Before going there I called multiple times but no answer.) A staff members approached me and told me they can’t do the oil change today because they close at 4. oil change only take 20 mins. It just seemed pointless to argue with him so I left. Hopefully this business business takes the negative reviews into consideration for the future customers.

Had my AC compressor installed and my AC recharged. I had my own part. Best value for what I wanted done. Called around other shops and this place had the best price. They were also done sooner than any other place told me the installation would take. I checked the installation afterwards and everything looks good. My AC blows cold air again! I’m happy with the service and overall experience. I’m definitely now going to this Speedees for my oil changes and any other services I can’t do myself.

It’s great to have a neighborhood shop that can take care of mechanical as well as oil change work. I got a couple of sensors fixed that I’d been putting off because a trip to the dealership was a chore... these guys fixed it all up even though I had no appointment, just rolled in. Got my HID light replaced within 30 min. The technicians here can work on luxury cars like Lexus BMW. Quick and efficient service. Might be a bit expensive but hey its Sunnyvale/Cupertino and you pay for premium for location.

They were very professional from the moment I drove to their premises. I filled out some basic information and in less than 30 minutes I get a phone call telling me my car was ready. The air filter is very dirty would you like to replace it the person on the phone asked politely after I asked how much it would cost to replace it I told him to go ahead and get it done. And about the price is very reasonable considering the location and how much rent is paid for a place like that I would definitely recommend my friends to go there for their car fixures and maintenance. Ill try the carwash next.

For what the rating says, I thought this place did really well. I personally had excellent customer service. And would recommend if your trying to get an oil change.Instructions were crystal clear and the workers were very polite. I would like to see more familiarity with the different package options for my cars oil change, but overall they were super speedy taking ~ 15 min( with no line). They also had some delicious coffee in the waiting room, a TV to watch, magazines, and a window to watch them work on your car. They also gave me an extra window wash and vacuumed my entire car, which was a nice surprise. They did try sell me more bundles(extra services), but thats all part of the business model. Altogether it was a great experience and would definitely go back again.

Great experience, will definitely return. Went in for a smog check and process was quick and painless. Was told it would take 30 minutes but only took about 15. Price is comparable to others in the area. I was told about other work my car needed but didnt feel pressured at all to get it done right now. No hidden costs or agenda. Was absolutely worth the 5 stars Im giving.

Vic Ram, the manager, is a professional in his craft and runs tight operations at this SpeeDee location and you will feel the great energy, knowledge and care at the shop. We needed an oil change and had an engine related issue with the vehicle. They took the car, and within a few hours the problems were diagnosed and fixed with full transparency into the price and parts that needed to be replaced. Quick service, in and out. Friendly staff. I wish there was more attention paid not to constantly upsell and finding new faults in the car. I took their word for it but also got 2nd and 3rd opinions to realize many of their upsell services are not needed.

Like coming here, they do a quick job and also clean your windows and vacuum your floors. Prices are pretty good compared to other places. If you want people that respect your vehicle, come here. And when I mean come here, I mean at this specific location. I went to the one in Turlock and they almost wrecked my car.

This location always has my cars smogged for me in an hour or less. I have a decent amount of cars and I always take them here. They’re a fun group and really nice.

Ended up with over $700 bill for replacing the entire oil pan since was told the screw was loose and it was damaged by someone else (of course!)The indian manager gave a even more ridiculous price initially. After checking the part price online he reluctantly gave a final price! They said they cant guarantee the safety if you were driving away with that damaged screw!!!Checked the review (should have done this). It is so weird they got either one star or five stars. So if you trust the five stars, go there and good luck...BTW, my car was in a very good condition, bought from dealer as brand new, very low mileage. After that day I went to dealers and other places for service, everything is fine.

Good customer service. They got my fluids changed much quicker than they said. Took almost no time at all, prices arent the best but very reasonable. You can find coupons online, and they mailed me another one that same week! Will definitely come back here for regular maintenance.

The main reason why I am leaving a review is because I had just come in for an oil change and they noticed a completely different issue that was wrong with my car. They could have done the oil change and let me leave, but instead they brought the other issue to my attention. I will always bring my car to this location! One of the better places to get an oil change in regards to a chain, at least in recent years (early 2016 to the present - 2019). I think its largely in part to the guy who works the front desk, but all the staff here are cool and helpful.

Ive taken my car here twice. They are very pleasant and honest. In one instance they didnt have the brand of oil I wanted so they gave a generous discount. There can be a wait but they waiting area is pleasant and clean. The manager has a great personality.

The lead mechanic of the shop wildly over charged me. He said my car took 7 liters of oil, I have never heard of a car take more than 5. He then charged me almost double for the two extra liters of oil my car needed. We went back and fourth for awhile, I was clearly calling him out on his slander. In an attempt for the situation I chose not to push any harder, but will never be coming back to this chain.

I am the regular customer of the Speedee, regularly services oil for my two cars as the location is convenient to me. But, today is a different day. I requested brake inspection and I am instructed that one of the bolts at rear passenger side tire is missing before service to cover up their fault. I regularly wash my car and I can clearly see the new markings of removal of that bolt in this service. Also, I have noticed that one of the screws was left inside the car without feetting where it should be. With this poor service, SpeeDee loose one of their customer. Please make sure to take a picture of your car before turning to service here, this place misses professionalism and craftmenship!

I was given promise for $29 coupon price for no extra charge on extra oil (after 5qt )on the phone. I did specified that my car is Toyota Camry V6, and the lady said no problem, she will honor the coupon. I do understand there is always extra charges (waste fee, etc). But in the end, the technician insisted on charging for extra oil. His attitude was firm and rude. Unlucky for me, the lady was nowhere to be found. I guess the guy just wanted to play tough so you did not want to argue with him about price. I was really sold by the promise on the phone to go to this place. Otherwise I could have gone to so many other cheaper good places. No more visit to this place for sure.

Love this place because the technicians there are so nice! I needed an oil change, and that was easy-peasy to complete, and it was easy to find a coupon for it. I also needed a tire change & wheel alignment (this wasnt just me being paranoid or manipulated, you could literally see the dent in the rims and large tear in the wheel... Im surprised I havent crashed yet :0). It was an expensive service, but they tried to find me the least expensive option they could.They did tell me that I needed to come in on a weekday to complete the job, but I was given the option to borrow one of their cars for work or errands, which was really awesome on their part! Ive never heard of other autoshops doing that for their customers. They go above and beyond :) Even if the costs and work is expensive and tough, I still trust these guys to handle it because theyre honest about what I need and definitely are honest about what I dont need. I recommend them!

Good oil change and kind employees

Took my car to 3 other shops prior to Speedee. Ford dealer wanted $200 just to look at the squeaky noise out of my wheel. Shop #2 said it was a ball bearing without even taking it apart. #3 (Midas a couple miles away) said it was a ball bearing, hub, and axle and wanted my arm and leg to fix it. Speedee found it was a simple brake pad issue and charged me less than Fords diagnostic fee to replace both rear pads. No more noise and also found a trustworthy shop in the process.

Was told all liquids would be topped off and they only added washer fluid nor would they wait to add coolant. Mike never responded to my call. Not professional.

I usually go to a Speedy in Santa Clara so I thought I’d give this place a try out of convenience. They said it would be a wait but I was in ‘n out in 20 mins. Didn’t care that they tried to upsell and they did reset my modern car’s oil change alert even though they had me get out of my car to reset. Wasn’t very happy as they cost $30 more than Spoedy SC.

This place used to be good in terms of customer service and service times. I have been going there for 4 years. Lately though, it seems like all they care about is how to get the most money out of you. The previous manager/owner Raj personally sent out 10% Off Any Service VIP cards to repeat customers but seems like the new management doesnt care about the loyal customers.Last time I got a synthetic oil change for a total of $80, the managers excuse for not applying the VIP card discount was Oh sorry I already swiped your credit card. I will give you 20% off next time!. Today after getting my battery replaced for $160, the same manager goes Oh sorry, battery change service does not qualify for that discount since its a part. When asked about the discount on the labor portion of the bill, he goes Yeah but its only $20 labor and we had to find a screw that was missing in your battery cover...Really ? If youre not gonna honor your owner loyalty program, dont have one. Wont be going there ever again.

Ive never had a problem with this place.It is an oil change shop, not a fully equipped mechanic auto shop, so they cant repair whatever is causing your check engine light to go off.Yes, they charge more than the cost of lube so they can pay their employees for their time, its called service. If you want to pay for an oil change at-cost, change the oil yourself! If you dontwant to, dont know how to, or dont want to deal with legal disposal of used oil, youre going to have to pay for someones time to do it.Ive taken multiple cars to this shop since I started driving over a decade ago. They do as they advertise!

I choose this place since it is convenient and near my house. I didnt do any research on this shop. I didnt read any reviews. Last 9 months I took my 2 cars for oil change. As of they are some NASA scientist they will tell about your car and try to maximum get the money out of you.The bills are like 880$, 350$,700$...just went for oil change for a ordinary corolla and accord..I think I deserve it since I didnt even read the reviews before went there.Due to my laziness I paid a high cost.It is always better to do some research and go there. If you have millions of dollars and want to waste the money it is better go to this place and screw yourself and laugh at yourself for the mistake.The service is worst and I really doubt whether they know how to fix the car. I should have realized at the first time when I went on Saturday like 11:00 it was literally empty and no one was there.Again I deserve it. Now last 9 months of rip off of 4-5 times now I realized I dont even want to go the mc donalds or KFC opposite to this shop.lol BEWARE and CAUTIOUS . AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Hope it helps.

I had a horrible experience with SpeeDee Oil Change. I went to SpeeDee Oil Change to check why my engine light was on. They gave me diagnostic and said in order to fix the problem I would have to pay $1,100. However, when I went home and did some research online, I found that the fuse was just broken, and was able to fix it by purchasing 5 fuses for $4.
