BEWARE! One of the worst buying experience at Sunnyvale Ford. The goal of the all the staff (sales, finance manager, service and customer care) is to extract every dollar from you and lie to you just to earn few dollars. They will not give you the available buying options at lower price.Don’t buying extended warranty from them. You are not given the option to choose extended service plan options (like deductibles, miles, years). They will just tell you that they cannot configure the offer for you. You can buy online or call FORD HQ for cheaper.Better select a dealer that cares for the customer and customer service and not just their bottom line.

Pros: the online person who responded to me.Cons: service did not answer my voicemail for several days; the mechanics did not troubleshoot the vehicle correctly ( perhaps at all?). Yes - I was charged full price.As a result I broke down (again) driving through Livermore. I towed it Livermore Ford who communicates well, asks questions, troubleshoots correctly and solves the issue.Recommendation: go to Livermore Ford for good service.

Bought my first car here. The sales staff was super helpful and insightful and made the buying process simple and easy. My car did have an engine problem about 2 months later but they offered to fix it for free. 3 years later I’ve had zero problems and have a very good relationship with my sales person.

Misleading, I lost $6000!! Read on..I recently purchased a car from them. On the day of purchase, the sales staff was very friendly, understanding and helpful. The manager also spoke with me and even offered to take the car for a half day test drive (I didnt). The deal was too good to be true - they were throwing in 72 months of full warranty and maintenance with the price. I checked with both the sales agent and the manager several times in very clear words Is this all included in the cost of $X or will I need to pay for it?. They very confidently said it is all included in the total price, this is not charged extra. When the total cost was broken down to monthly payments, as a regular consumer, my understanding was that the difference in cost was due to the APR, but NO! They had included the cost of the above 2 packages in the breakdown and charged me $6000 more! While signing the papers, I was of course shown 30 different sheets, one of which was this and I obviously did not pay much heed to the charge as the agents had promised it was free. When I later realized, I had to contact the finance manager a minimum of 10 times over a month and the response was We showed you the paper, you signed it. Thats their idea of transparency. When I told them I was misled, they said you can always cancel the warranty. I bought the car from this dealership BECAUSE they were offering it for free, NO OTHER REASON. They said the manager would call back, 2 months later Im still waiting with no response, action or ownership from them. Im just paying ridiculous payments each month!

Walked in Sunnyvale Ford at night about 8.07pm on 10/6/2019 after RAM NEW DEALERSHIP Sunnyvale wasted my whole day. We wanted to buy a Truck Ford F-150 Super Crew. As we Entered Saber helped us out and as we had a budget fixed for purchase we told Saber the amount we want to spend and he got in DAVID Z and in no time we reached to the number we wanted and with help of SABER, DAVID Z and DAVID N we finalized the numbers and we walked in Eric’s office Finance Manager and he took care of us in a few minutes and by 9 pm we had already finished the whole process of purchase of our beautiful 2019 FORD F-150 truck, excellent customer service provided by the team, so friendly, helpful and worked with us to get our new truck in the price we wanted. Amazing that car dealerships today dont realize that people caught onto this stuff years ago. Also going to file a BBB complaint on this as it really is disgusting.

We had a bad experience here. I called ahead to check if they had the Mustang EV for test drive, and was told on the phone by Gregory thay I could just drop by for a drive.When I actually got there, the sales rep Sagar told me they dont do test drives. When I told him I had explicitly asked for a test drive on the phone and they had wasted my time, his only response was No worries!And the explanation for not doing test drives was that itd add miles on the car so they couldnt sell it to any customer. Something Ive never heard at any other dealer.I noticed someone else was doing a drive, when I asked about it, I was told I could do a drive if they could run a credit check.I dont think Ive had such a weird experience with any car dealer. With such attitude by people at dealerships, no wonder everyone prefers Teslas direct selling model.

My son bought a 2019 used chevy bolt from them. We dtove it 42 miles and stopped to get something to eat. Once we got back in the car it would not start. Wecontacted the Sunnyvale ford and talked with the manager. His only concern was did we have towing insurance. We had to call AAA and have the cre towed to a modesto dealership for warrenty . in my opinion the manager should of sent a tow truck to pick it up and deliver it back to their dealiership. And give a full refund. But we never heard anything again from them. The bolt is currently sitting at a chevy dealership waiting to see what will be done with tje car. They determined the main battery for the electric car was bad. So who knows when it will get repaired. So we are out of a car after druving it r2 miles but still making the payment. I would not recommend buying any used cars from this dealer. Once they have your money they wash their hands of the deal

Horrible customer service. They had vehicle for over 2 months and I had to do some of the leg work to find parts. Once I came to get the vehicle I had to reinstall parts they over looked. Had to tighten down bolts on the engine they also over looked. They where chasing a smoke from the engine bay they didnt know where it was coming from. Once I arrived I noticed they had failed to install a hose back onto the engine that was causing the smoke.After a month and a hold I had to start chasing down people to get any information on my vehicle. This whole time I was paying for a rental out of pocket. They didnt install one harness because the tech didnt like it, and took over a month to get another harness in (when they said us was shipped and on its way).The vehicle went in for a anti theft issue originally, when they inspected it they believed it was the engine harness. They replaced that and decided it was the anti theft system(The original reason it went in).After 2 months of it being there I was able to go down to pick up the vehicle. When I got there the check engine light was still on. One of the codes was for something I knew about and quickly fixed at ford. The other was for a glow plug relay (which they did not attach the plug to the harness). They said they where chasing a smoke from the engine somewhere, ended up they forgot to reattach the crank case vent.I decided to go through the engine bay and check what else was missed and there were plenty of other items that were loose and the map sensor bracket was installed incorrectly.The battery light was on when I picked up the vehicle as well. They diagnosed it and said it was a bad alternator. They gave me a new alternator to replace the one they said was faulty.When I get to my truck to take it home the service manager had lost one of my keys and said he would have to get a new one made.I would have to come back the next day to get the new key and alternator for my vehicle.I went back, got the new key and alternator and immediately installed the alternator. After the install of the alternator the battery light was still on.I went through and diagnosed the the issue and found the the harness between the plug for the alternator and the dash was faulty. I had to then fix that issue.I sent the vehicle to them, expecting that the dealership would be able to had my issues with the truck swiftly and professionally, it was far from either. I had to work on my truck at the dealership as well as after to get it back to how it was before.After 2 months and $7000 dollars in rental fees and fees from the dealership, I still had to diagnose and work on it myself.

On 4/17/2020 I took my 2018 Ford F250 to Sunnyvale Ford for safety recall #19S48 – unintended tailgate opening. They had reportedly fixed the problem but I continue to experience unexpected tailgate opening while driving. On one occasion, the tailgate impacted the propane tanks on my travel trailer, causing a propane leak. On 4/2/2021 I took the truck to Sunnyvale Ford for service and further evaluation of the problem. Tom McNab, Parts and Service Director, said nothing was found but promised to talk to a specialist at Ford Motor Company and get back to me by 4/6/2021. He never called. On 4/22/2021 I called Tom McNab about the unresolved problem. He said he would call me by 1 pm the following day. He never called. On 6/15/2021 I received an email from Paulette Sidi, Client Relation Manager at Sunnyvale Ford, saying “I am here to HELP.” I called her and she said there was nothing more they could do. Sunnyvale Ford apparently does not feel a tailgate going down while driving poses a safety risk to me or other drivers. Other service appointments were satisfactory.

I brought my Shelby GT350 with about 3k miles on it to get an oil change. Though the change was pretty quick - about an hour total - I am pissed with the results.They managed to scratch & gouge the pristine leather underside of my perfect-condition steering wheel. They also thoroughly over-filled the engine coolant reservoir. Ill never be taking my Shelby here again. Please stay far away for your service needs.

Generally good but they dont make appointments they have drop off times and then they get to your car later. I dont see why they cant make appointments for folks and keep to them rather than thinking we all want to leave our cars there for hours to do 30-60 minute jobs.They seem to do fine work so of they could fix the appointment issue it would be much better.

I have followed up numerous times Over the past 4 months for assistance in getting them applied but the Sunnyvale team has had zero interest in fixing the issue. This Review is for the SALES Team at Sunnyvale Ford!They do an amazing job at this place! I had an excellent buying experience. Got a 2020 Mustang ecoboost premium (race red) here. They helped me in finding the perfect car. The staff here are very helpful and professional especially, Sagar and Fred from sales team guided me through the entire process. Staff at Sunnyvale Ford dont rush or jump into conclusions (like other dealerships do (eg Santa Clara Ford on Stevens creek 😡)). The only place they lag at is finding a perfect auto financing for me. Unfortunately, I cannot give 0 stars. Worst dealer in my entire life.I called dozens of times -- no response, no callback. Had to come to the workshop 3 times just to get them to look at our car. After 2 weeks of begging they finally ran diagnostics (charged us $800 just for this) and recommended engine replacement (another $5000).I towed the car to another dealership. Got our car back 1.5 days later. Paid $0 (they just replaced a fan and did it under warranty).Ford Sunnyvale is a winner of the worst customer service and gross incompetence. Congrats -- you did it!

I had to edit my response. I’m only sad I couldn’t give zero stars. My whole experience has been an actual nightmare. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Sunnyvale Ford. The list of headaches is long, but some key points are trying to say I lied about something (had texts to prove I did not), telling me I would have to pay to get a dent fixed on a car in their lot if I chose to purchase that one, missing interior panel noticed after I got home with new car, salesman lying to me, several broken promises, oh and 3 weeks later and they have yet to pay off my trade in. Have called 3 times in the past week and we are always told they will return our call...still hasn’t happened. The only person that I felt was helpful was Jim, the GM.

Went in for a complimentary car wash, detailing. My mother-in-law had bought a car there and as a bonus they said they would detail her car. When they brought the finished car around, I looked inside and they hadnt even vacuumed the interior. it looked like they may have wiped down the dash, but thats it. I was satisfied with my experience at Sunnyvale Ford purchase a new vehicle. I especially recommend David Mojdeh, who was very enthusiastic to explain the various features of the car to me. After some expected negotiating, we arrived at an extremely competitive price. The entire process took me three visits: the first one was purely informative, the second was the bulk of the negotiation, and the third was nailing the final price and paperwork. David also referred me to an insurance broker who gave a quote with a major insurance company at way below market rate.

Recommend Sunnyvale Ford if you dont want to haggle.be careful when your papers go to finance, though. they offer discounts verbally but then charge you the full price, and when you tell them theyve made an error (my case was $1295 more than what was offered on scratch paper) they will not be inclined to fix the error.but overall, great price! What a fabulous car buying experience!Sales team: Kevin was a terrific to work with. He followed up with us when we asked and found the exact make/model and color that I wanted. Kevin and Adam got us into the finance office quickly so we could get the paperwork out of the way and the finance manager, Ed was friendly and efficient. Todd, the lease manager was very nice and helped explain what would happen with the lease we were turning in.Car: The Ford C-Max is adorable on the outside, and the features on the inside offer all the bells and whistles I wanted. We have come here a couple times for service. Same thing each time. They say “i’ll call you tomorrow” “it should be ready tomorrow “ and they never call and its never ready.The car always stays there for over a week - waiting for parts - with zero updates, zero communication. Let’s just be honest and say when the car will truly be ready and tell us to call you - because you will never call us. Or you might actually do as you say you will - as your integrity and reputation rely on what you say and do.

Very nice staff. Didn’t pressure too much, worked with me on financing. Allowed me a good amount of drive time on the used truck that I ended up buying from them. Only reason I didn’t go to five stars was they said I could have a two day return policy so my mechanic could have a deeper look at it (truck was in great shape but I’m a first time truck buyer and wanted to be sure). At signing, they said it would cost $250 for the 2-day policy. They ended up taking the fee away but not until after a few minutes of thinking about it. Very friendly staff, family atmosphere.

I wouldnt recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.We traded in our explorer that we purchased from this dealership and they are refusing to call us back to issue funds due to us from the maintenance package we purchased.Im pregnant and disabled from a car accident (ie why we purchased the suv). We finally talked to someone who said we now have to drive to the dealership to get the monies owed. This is false they can just mail the paper like they did with the initial paperwork. But theyd rather put my family at risk and make us drive from Sacramento to Sunnyvale. And I only drive when necessary to doctors appointments.This is a prime example of a business taking advantage of a disabled person. Im so upset which is adding stress to my pregnancy....and we need this money back for doctors bills.This dealership is an embarrassment to the Ford name. Its disappointing to deal with people like this when there are other dealers that take pride in being a US company.

I have had a bad experience with Sunnyvale Ford multiple times. Its about time that I shared it and helped others avoid them1. About 3 years ago got an offer from them and when I came to close I found that it was not what is seemed to be2. About a month ago I bought a car from them. Yes the price was what they offered but it took them forever to get the car from another lot, nobody called me to inform me what was going on and only after I sent an email telling them if this is not done by the next day I will take my business elsewhere that everything got fixed in a day.3. Came back to return my lease which was from another dealership. When I bought my car they assured me I could return it at their dealership which is closer to my home. Now I came to return it and they are not willing to accept it since they do not have place in the lot.They did not commit fraud or take my money under false pretenses. Just consistent bad service and bad service representatives. I really recommend taking your business elsewhere. I know I will.

I came in to the dealership armed with my own research and great numbers to shoot for and was ready for battle.I tried to battle, they loved me back which in turn got my wife her dream car. How?I wanted to lease an Explorer with a trade-in that didnt have much money in but they are the first dealer that gave me a fair price and didnt low ball me.Basically my wife saw what she liked, and our sales guy Sean went to his manager, the manager came back with awesome numbers.I was doubtful they will respect the numbers after the credit check as others did in years past and were never close. (It is usually the opening shot for the draining back and forth game.)But, 15 minutes after filling the credit forms the manager came by, shook my hand, said the number again and followed it by Its done. Congratulations!Thats it I asked? Dont need to play the game? a co-signer? - no.It was a breeze and even the finance guy was nice, stuck to the numbers and was very helpful.Wife is super happy and Sunnyvale Ford came through.Happy wife - Happy life!

Pretty good service. My trunk wouldnt open. Initially, a service advisor turned me down because I didnt have an appointment but then the ladies inside the office were very nice who introduced me to Tom. He immediately took a look, helped me open the trunk and ordered the parts. Service advisor Ronnie quickly set me up for the next day repair and provide a great service and maintenance.

Loved this place. :-)The people were extremely friendly. Took me out for a pleasant test drive. And Jeff helped me really much in trying to figure the car with specification and configurations as required by me and in bringing the car from a different location to the dealership in a day or 2. It was extremely quick and the processing of finance and other paperwork were quickly done so that I could drive out easily.I really appreciate Jeff in making me feel at ease through out the process and helping me get to my car faster. I purchased a SUV from Brandon C. whom provided excellent customer service. He made the car buying experience very pleasant and addressed all my issues. He will make you feel like a valued customer. The restroom facilities literally looks like a luxury hotel. You can also get free popcorn. Lady sitting at the front door is very nice too. Furthermore, Brandon literally took his shirt off his back to personally wash my car upon completion of sale. Highly recommend this place to fulfill your automobile needs.

About a month ago I bought my first Ford car here and was a great experience! To be honest, it was better than other three Ford dealerships in this area that I visited.I had the pleasure to work with David and it took four days from the first visit to me driving the car home. The car was clean, shiny, and with full tank.They gave me fair price (I think :) and even though the paper work took a little longer than I expected the car is perfect so far. I just hope that the experience with their service will be as good.

I found a car that had everything I wanted in it and when I emailed dealer they sent me their online hassle free price which was fair for me. So I went to see the car with money ready to buy!!! When I show up all of the sudden that car is not for sale it had some kind of defect Oh but we can get you one here in a couple of days. Of course the price is no longer valid because its another car and all I have to do is leave a deposit to get this new car that sells for more money!!!! This is definitely the old bait and switch, I wasted my time to go there with full intentions of driving off with a new car only to come into this BS! How can this be legal, I know these dealers have no integrity and I assume it works but it is angering to have to go through this!

I recommend Jordan, who was approachable and knowledgeable, and provided all the service a first-time buyer could ask for. He took the time to explain all the features of the vehicle, including setting up the Bluetooth to guiding me through sport mode. Jordan, alongside with Eric, made buying the car smooth and hassle free. They genuinely wanted me to get me the best deal possible, and I left the dealership knowing I got that I did. Came in about 2 days after leasing a car with them to go over some of the features. Once we were finished, they informed me that the lease we had originally agreed on 2 days prior wasnt approved and that I had 3 options:1) Get a co-signer (not possible for me)2) Buy the car, and the payment would be about 25% more than the lease payment we had agreed on.3) Give the car backThis dealership really shouldnt be making deals/offers they cant actually keep. Apparently, there is a period of 10 days where your financing may not be approved, and if it isnt, they cancel your deal. To be fair, they didnt necessarily do anything fraudulent, just arent trustworthy and wont honor the deal you had originally made. I gave the car back of course, but it would have been greatly appreciated if they would tell you upfront if you actually qualify or not for the deal you had already agreed on.

Service center is a complete joke.I bought a car with 1 year CPO warranty and the drivetrain still under warranty. The steering wheel started making noise. I took it to the dealership, and I was told that I have to pay 250 bucks to have the mechanics inspect for the problem. Then, I have to pay a deductible if they find any problem. If they cannot find the problem, they will still have to charge me 250 bucks for nothing. If I take it to my own mechanic to diagnose the problem and ask Ford to replace any parts that is broken, they still have to charge me 250 bucks inspection fee plus the deductible. This is such deceptive business practice, why didnt the warranty cover inspection or verification of the problems? And why is there a deductible on something that is covered by the warranty?If they didnt find any issue, I will still have to pay 250 bucks for diagnosis. And if they misdiagnose or didnt fix the problem, I will be stuck with the problem and have to pay another 250 + 100 bucks to get it fixed again.

Buying a car never a fun experience . Sunnyvale ford made it even worse. Their salesperson contacted me, he got all the details about my terms and what I was looking for. We had exchanged emails, spoke on the phone.He had told me he can beat what I was offered by other dealerships.He even put his manager Jim on the phone who had guaranteed me to give me a great deal.Jim lured me to his dealership under false pretenses. First they tried to change the agreement about my trade in vehicle, low balled me by 4k, then tried to increase the price by 2k of the new truck, when I told him this wasnt the deal he had promised me he rudely said Fine Ill give you that price.Then we had started finance paperwork, well into 2.5 hours when I found out Jim had changed the APR terms from 0% to 6.9% percent, when I told him this wasnt the deal I cant except it, he had told us Good Bye thenBy then wasted nearly 3 hours of my and my brothers day.Very unprofessional, unethical dealership.Sales person was very sweet but practically useless. Lots of miscommunications amongst them or they just didnt care about what we were looking for and just wanted to make the sales.Make sure to check everything before you sign since they will not let you know if they are changing anything you have to find it out on your own.BTW, if they would have been honest and upfront with us,We would have bought the truck from them.

Got a good lease deal. Thanks to Keith and Jim. Much more professinal than other ford dealers in the area. They did not have the color I wanted on the lot and easily agreed to bring one in from 70 miles away. Other dealers just want to sell you what they have on the lot. I am waiting for the car to arrive next week. Will update this with end experience.

I recommend you look for the salesman named Sam. He will ask what your mainly interested in and does not push sales on a vehicle they are trying to move. He will find the answer to all your questions. Soft spoken and not pushy. We purchased a used car and are very happy.Thank you Sam!
