All I asked them for was to replace my tire splash guard. I even had the replacement in the car. Now, after letting precision tune replace it, it already has a rip from rubbing on the tire. I paid $55 dollars for that, an extra $5 for screws they didn’t use. That’s really messed up guys, you lost me. That was a simple repair, i fixed it myself. However, I almost let them replace my catalytic converter. Won’t be doing that lol

They used to charge 2.00 per tire for a tire rotation with an oil change. Apparently they are under new management and now charge 19.99. This was the only reason I went to them, they will no longer be receiving my business. I was bringing all 3 of my vehicles there.

Avoid this place at all costs! I had zero issues with my truck when I went for a simple oil change. I noticed a brand new oil leak when I got home. I brought my truck back the next day and they told me my oil pressure sending unit was bad. I had them replace that as well and my vehicle was still leaking oil. I went to Firestone and they figured out that my oil cap was nicked and since I didn’t have any issues before precision tune touched it, I took my bill from Firestone in and asked Precision to pay it. That’s when they pointed out the fine print in the back of the receipt that said if I took it anywhere else they were no longer responsible. Unfortunately my girlfriend had her oil changed here also before we knew how incompetent they were, and her oil leaked after they were done with it too. And she had to go somewhere else to get the problem resolved too. We went back together to try to get our money back and they refused to do anything and referred us to corporate, which as still ignored our every request.

I called ahead about an ac diagnostics I was told they do provide the services and to come in, so I get there and I check in hand in my keys and they were pretty slow so 30-40 mins go by with me waiting and seeing my car hasn’t been tended to I ask the lady at the front desk an approximate time on the work she goes to check only to come back out saying no one there is hvac certified. A complete waste of gas and time!

As usual.. my preferred choice for my vehicles routine maintenance. The Manager Brian and their staff makes them set apart from the other shops for me

Lacks professionalism, careless attitude and poor communication plus that is an important factor when conducting business. Customer’s should not be told “first come first serve” then end up being 4th person on the list when I arrived and checked in before the other cars arrived but others being serviced first. $110 per hour for 4 hours to change one spark plug is not realistic when I price checked with other local automotive maintenance shops. This front desk/mechanic throws his hands up in there when I politely asked for my keys back then makes a sarcastic comment when I’m walking out the door. These type of behaviors shouldn’t be present.

Honest assessment and fair prices. They did not try to rip me off like Summerville Ford and upcharge me with $700 worth of parts/labor I did not need. Been twice now and received good work. Never going back to the dealership again.

I was pretty appalled that while I was waiting for my car to be worked on, one of the technicians left from working on a car, walked up to another car that’d pulled in and made an exchange with the driver of that car. Then walks to the back of the shop and starts smoking a weed pen. I’m not against smoking but while you’re at work and customers can see you is pretty unprofessional, especially getting stoned and then working on people’s cars—— all while the manager (I’m guessing that’s what he was) sits in his chair in the shop not saying anything about the guy smoking weed on the job and surely not doing anything to help get any cars serviced quicker. I ended up leaving and going somewhere else. So completely unprofessional.

I called to get a quote on a timing chain they told me it was 500 and to bring my car early the next morning. When I got there the man said no it 986. I told him I spoke to lest he then tells me “he doesn’t know what he is doing and I don’t know why they have him behind the desk when I’m not here.” The only reason they got one star is because I couldn’t give them none.

Precision Tune Auto Care on Old Trolley Road in Summerville is a great resource and place to take your vehicle for service and repair when it needs it. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating and really knows how to take care of your car efficiently. They have really good customer service and work quickly so you can be on your way. I have had a positive experience every time I have been here.

Worst experience ever, changed oil came back with a valve cover gasket leak. Asked to fix . Then say its cracked cause dry hot and cold water to waiting a week getting new part on and being told it was there tools

I am new in town and wanted to get my Jeep checked. Customer service is extremely important to me. Summerville has been very kind to this city girl. However, today was the work by far1. I waited for 5 minutes while the service man talked to his friend.2. After enter he didnt speak to me. I HAD TO SAY HELLO FIRST.3. What ya need? was his response to my Hello4. As I replied, he answered the phone.5. No eye contact when he said We are too busy to look at your car. It will be about 3 hours with a very nasty tone.I told him no thank you and quickly walked out in a state of shock. Extremely disappointing customer service. I do not recommend nore will I ever return.

Staff is amazing! Very friendly. And professional. When I do finally move down here, this is where I plan to go when ever something does happen to my vehicles. Would absolutely recommend them.

I took my car there to have the air conditioner checked and get an oil change and they are very reasonably priced and very knowledgeable and they explain every detail to you what theyre going to do before they do it and when you pick your car up they go over it again with you. Been bringing both my vehicles here for oil changes fully synthetic. They have the best price and the two managers have always been very helpful. Brought my vehicle in today thinking I had one problem and they told me the real problem, and was honest with me when they couldve charged me my first born. This is going to be a long review.First off, they were very friendly when I first contacted them with my problem, so I brought my truck over to them because I was very clearly smelling gas in the cab. I got a call back with an estimate about 30 minutes later, which was also great. They told me my fuel pump rusted out, and quoted me a price for the part and the labor. I thought the labor price sounded fair, but the part price was a little hefty IMO, but I was away from my desk when they called. As soon as I got back to my computer I did a little cost analysis of the part, and the most expensive one I found was from Napa for $340.00 The price they quoted me was %250 higher than this. I called them back, and was connected to the mechanic working on my truck. I asked him why the part price was so high, and he told me he got the part for $240! Which means the price was jacked up way higher than I originally thought, and I told him that.He got off the phone with me, and made another phone call. He called me back and knocked $100 off the price. I wasnt happy with this, but since they had my old fuel pump out already, and the new one in hand, I let it slide. I was mad enough to call corporate customer service and told them my story. I was told that local franchises decide their own pricing, but the discounted price falls in line with one that was charged recently on the same model as my truck.Seriously!? I paid almost more than 2x what I could buy the part for?!The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is that they were courteous on the phone, and in person, and the work they did seems more than adequate. If they didnt gouge me on the part, I would have given them a much higher rating.All that being said, next time my truck isnt running right, Im taking it elsewhere

This was my first time using Precision, but they came very highly recommended by everyone I talked to, and I can see why! They were professional, friendly and above all HONEST! Went in with my brake light on and they could have easily told me I needed new brakes or some other repair that could cost me hundreds. But nope! I was just low on brake fluid. They added fluid, changed my oil and had my car ready in under two hours.Precision is my goto from here on out!

I went here to get a oil change, and the only good thing I can say is that the lady in the front office (Mrs.Richardson) is the only good thing about this place.So I was driving on sc roads and hit something in the road that caused my oil to leak out, when I got home I put some of the oil in a pan and looked at it. The oil was completely black (2 weeks after getting it changed). Needless to say I ended up having to change my own oil and won’t be returning.

This is by far the best garage in the Summerville area. Cole is the guy who typically works the front desk and he does everything he can to give you the best price possible and to not put any unnecessary work off on you. All of their work is back by warranty that beats any competitor in the area and if they cant fix it they will shoot you straight. They went as far as fixing work for me that another garage across the street messed up as if it was their work. This is a good, honest business and one that deserves your hard earned money for the work the do. The place is typically crowded and work my take some time, but at the end of the day is well worth it. Saving an hour may cost you hundreds if not thousands more elsewhere.

Our air conditioner went out on our truck while on vacation, we called Precision Auto around 1:00 on Saturday. Joe came out and ran a quick test and told us our compressor and condensor were both shot. He started calling around and found all the parts needed to get it fixed. Joe and Thomas both stayed late (after 6) to get us fixed and back on the road with ice cold air. Thank you Jor and Thomas for being honest and hard working. We appreciate you both so much!

I went to get a a/c recharge and they said that they couldnt recharge my a/c because of a bad a/c compressor. Took my car to a yard mechanic and said my a/c compressor is fine. Just needed refrigerate. These people are CROOKS!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Great service

Shady people, rundown garage and scammers! Beware!!!!!Called in to get a price on changing my brake pads that I already bought and have a stud I also bought put on. The guy told me $110. I show up 5 minutes later and he says the total is $158.12. So for no reason at all the price went up $50 in the 5 minutes I took to drive there. Then after pulling my truck into the garage it sits there for over an hour in the air while the technician helps 3 other people who walked in after me and as they leave I am still waiting to be scammed and overcharged again. All in all it took over 2 and a half hours to do a job that should of taken 1hr and overcharged me or added tax to the labor which isn’t taxable. And to top it off the guys look so sketchy and the way they were acting made me think they are the type to mess with my truck so that something falls apart later. I would never ever go back and would never suggest this place to anyone I know unless I don’t like them. Will be calling there corporate office to let them know about my experience as well.Shady people, rundown garage, scammers beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! All i can say is this is the place to come to for your autocare services to be met....So i was on my way from work when randomly my car started running 🔥 i stopped at a gas station where i found my coolant empty. So i bought coolant from out of the store and still after pouring in coolant my car was still running hot😫. I went next door to the tread quarters tire shop and the guy wanted to charge me $60 to do a diagnostic test😒..$60 that i didnt even have on me. So something told me to go across the street to PRECISION AUTO CARE😃. I went to the front and spoke to the nice young lady receptionist and she told me $19.99 . After that my car was pulled in the garage. I was later informed that i had a water housing leak😣. I thought it was going to be like $300 or more. $190 was the price😎 i was shocked and happy. I was ready to go to my bank and get the money when i realized i couldnt drive my car being that it ran hot. I asked one of the mechanics for a ride and he looked out for me just for me to find out i was out of funds on overdrafting reaching my limit due to bills i just paid😞 so we got back to the shop and i spoke to the owner...(get ready..this is the part)😇 BRIAN!! Told me-DO NOT WORRY BOUT IT- 😮 he told the guys Go ahead and work on it i was so blown you guysss!! Like literally..he didnt have to do it but he did. Its not everyday things like this happens. Brian told me just give him whatever i had on me and just come back and pay my remaining balance. I gave him my little $29😂 and a copy of my i.d and vehicle registration to insure him that my word is my born and i will faithfully and honestly keep my word and repay him back by bringing him his money i owe when i get paid on my payday. I took my RUNNING car to Old Trolley Road location and came out with the check engine light on! I use to go there but NOT anymore. The incompetence at that specific location is staggering. I would not take my car there again. The manager had the audacity to say my car came there on a wrecker when in fact, I DROVE it there for service. He was clueless! His name is Brian.
